Chapter 3: The Man Named Ganondorf

(Gohan POV)

Gohan fought back confusion as they followed Goku through the undergrowth. They did not know who or what they were searching for. Goku seemed to have a bad feeling about it, so they just followed him. Gohan looked to Beerus and saw that the God of Destruction was watching Goku with narrowed eyes. Goku turned to him and narrowed his eyes.

"What is it, Beerus? Do you sense something?" Goku asked.

"No, I'm just thinking about this threat. Do you even know what it is?" Beerus replied.

"I do know what the threat looks like. It's a male with dark skin and amber eyes. He had a huge power level that got me worried. His name was Ganondorf," Goku said, causing Gohan to tip his head to the side in confusion. "He's somewhere around here, let's be careful."

Everyone nodded and followed Goku quietly. Goku looked very focused on the mission at hand. A sudden noise got their attention. Goku's eyes narrowed and he seemed to be looking for some sort of power level. Gohan couldn't sense anything. Either he was losing his skills, or this was a power level only Goku could sense. Goku looked worried as he looked for the source of the noise. He looked around, Gohan fought back rising anxiety.

He looked to the rest of the team and saw confusion on their faces. Vegeta looked focused on finding the source of the noise as well. Beerus was beginning to look bored and seemed to be refraining from doing something. Goku looked around to Beerus and his eyes widened as he saw the bored expression on the God of Destruction's face.

"Don't worry, Beerus, I'm sure will find the source of the power soon. Just sit tight and please don't destroy the planet. I know you're bored and are looking for a fight but please don't take it out on the planet," Goku said respectfully. But Gohan could also see a little bit of anger. "Please don't harm this planet."

"You won't have to worry about that. I'm going to be the one destroying this planet," a voice said. Everyone jumped and turned to the source of the voice. It was coming from a tall bush covered in yew berries. "My name is Ganondorf. And I'm here from another world."

"Why are you here, Ganondorf? What do you want?" Gohan asked, shocked at how quickly the words had come from his mouth.

"Don't speak out of turn," Ganondorf said. He then walked over to Gohan, causing him to get into his fighting stance. Ganondorf let out a small chuckle and stabbed Gohan through his pelvis with a sword that seemed to appear out of thin air. Gohan grimaced and held his side, shocked by the amount of pain the sword had had. He had witnessed so much in his lifetime, this should be nothing compared to the pain he had endured. Yet somehow, he had still managed to collapse onto one knee from the pain. He tried to stand, but felt a sharp pain and grimaced. "That's was happens. Don't do what he did."

Gohan closed his eyes, trying to get rid of the pain. It didn't work, it only seemed to increase the pain of the already searing pain. Goku looked horrified at the sight of his son covered in his own blood. Gohan felt something coming up his throat and had no choice but to cough. Blood splattered on the ground. Gohan held his side and breathed out deeply. Krillin looked frozen with horror. Gohan looked at him and tried to smile in reassurance. He only coughed up more blood.

Goten looked horrified and stunned. Vegeta glared at Ganondorf, his eyes blazing. Yamcha looked stunned and horrified. Chi Chi had fainted. Gohan understood why, but he didn't want her to wake up and find him dead. Gohan tried to rise, but he only fell again. Blood poured out of the wound, causing Gohan to stumble.

"Wow, you are a fighter, aren't you? I'm honestly impressed. For someone this young, you managed to survive a direct blow to the pelvis. The hero in my world died from that wound. Along with his petty little princess. It was a beautiful sight to see as Hyrule fell under my control. But then I realized, that conquering the universe was my destiny. So here I am," Ganondorf said with a smirk.

"You have no idea how many of our enemies have said that," Gohan said, panting.

"Oh? Tell me more," Ganondorf said, a smile on his face. "Tell me the stories of all the people who have tried to take over the universe and have failed. Really, I'm curious. Fill me in."

"Well, there was Cell, a bio Android who thought his destiny was to destroy the universe. But then I defeated him as a child. Then there was Majin Vegeta, who I defeated at the age of eighteen," Gohan said.

"Oh, I've heard the stories of Cell. What a moron, cowering behind a television screen," Ganondorf said with a laugh, Gohan felt the sword go in deeper. He sucked in a pained breath. "Well I'm not like those guys. I'm smarter, stronger, faster. And you know it. Good bye, I have some people to kill."

Gohan watched painfully as the villain flew away. Then, his vision turned to blackness and his eyes closed.
