Chapter One: One Month Later
3rd Person Pov
~A Month Later~
It was the middle of the night at the Salvatore Boarding House when Caroline woke up to the sound of babies crying.
"Damon, the babies." Caroline said still sleepily. "Damon?" She asked as she reached over to his side of the bed but no one was there. "Damon?"
Caroline quickly got up when she notice Damon wasn't in sight. She quickly went to the nursery. As she was close, she heard voices inside.
"Please guys, your mother's sleeping. You guys owe her that since you guys were the ones that tired her out." Damon told the babies.
The babies continue to cry.
"I know, I know, please quiet down, at least for a second." Damon pleaded.
"Damon?" Caroline asked as she opened the nursery door.
"Oh hey Care, sorry they woke you." Damon apologized.
"It's fine." Caroline replied as she went over to him. "Hi babies." She said as she took Kendric and Jaceson from Damon.
They continue to cry.
"Maybe they're hungry." Caroline said.
"Already fed them" Damon told her. "Yes I change their diapers, rock them and I even red to them?" He added before Caroline said anything.
"Hmm how about a little song then?" Caroline suguested.

By the end, all four babies were fully asleep. Damon and Caroline sat the babies in their cribs. Caroline wrapped her arms around Damon's arm and lay her head on his shoulder as they admire their one month old quadruplets.
'What a blessing' Caroline smiled at the thought.
"Come on Care, we're already late." Damon yelled from outside as he finished putting all four babies in the car.
"I'm almost ready." Caroline yelled from in the house.
"I hope you don't turn out like your mother." Damon pointed to his daughter as she stared at him
"Hey it take time to look this good." Caroline said coming out of the house.
Damon rolled his eyes as he started the car then they were on their way to meet the gang at the grill.
"Yes finally they're here. I am starving." Jeremy said.
Elena slightly punched her brother's arm.
"Ouch." Jeremy groaned while holding onto the arm his sister punched.
"So how did the babies sleep last night?" Bonnie asked.
"They didn't. They were crying all night." Damon replied.
"They were not crying all night." Caroline glared at Damon.
"Right, that is until you sang them to sleep." Damon told her.
"Awe you sang to them? That is so cute." Everyone awed.
"Ok enough about the babies, lets talk about the dance." Caroline said.
"You're planning the dance aren't you?" Damon asked.
"You know it." Caroline replied.
"Come on Care, why talk about school when we have four most adorable creature right infront of us." Elena said.
"They are adorable." Caroline said looking at the quadruplets.
"They obviously got their look from their father." Damon smirked.
Caroline rolled her eyes at his statement. They all yawned in sync.
"Awe." They all said.
"That was so cute. They were in sync." Jenna said.
Soon they ordered their food and continued their evening as the babies sleep.
