Duuuudes I am so sorry for dropping of the planet like that on you. My computer died on me and I couldn't afford another one. Then I got a job to help pay for one. So now I work full time, which kinda sucks now that I think about it but you know people gotta do what they gotta do. Updates will be kinda slow cause of the job but rest assured Im not giving up on this story.

I own nothing.

For the reviews I got about Hagrid knowing better concerning Angel, you guys are right he probably would know that but the reason for his reaction will be explained later.

P.S. I got the idea for the sorting moment from Mr. Chaos, "Harry Potter and the Master Ball" and then I added my own spin on it. So all rights and credit go to him and what not.

Anyway….On with the show!

PpppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppP

The final two weeks before Hogwarts went by in a flash. Dudley and Harry spent most of it reading their new books about Avalon. They now knew enough about the region to not stand out too much. Something they learned that surprised both boys was that Harry was something called 'The Boy Who Lived'. From what they found, Harry is the only known person to survive being attacked by some evil dark trainer. This trainer was supposedly so powerful and so evil that he earned the title of 'Dark Champion'. The books and Apps say that when the Dark Champion came to destroy the Potter family, he killed James Potter, the former eighth gym leader, and Lilly Potter, but when he got to Harry Potter something went wrong. No one knows what happened that night other than that, the Dark Champion disappeared and that young Harry now had a lightning shaped scar on his head.

Neither boy knew what to say about what they learned. Harry went into a depression that took Angel and Dudley days to get him out of. Eventually Harry came to grips with what happened and decided that he would live up to the memory of his parents but at the same time he wouldn't let their memory rule his life.

Both boys were excited for Harry to leave for Hogwarts, but for slightly different reasons. Harry couldn't wait to walk the halls of the school like his parents did before him. He wanted to learn everything Hogwarts had to offer. Dudley on the other hand couldn't wait because he wanted Harry to enjoy himself and once his cousin left he was going to start challenging the gyms.

When the day came that Harry was set to leave, Hagrid came by to take him to King's port. After some begging and pleading Dudley was allowed to go too. The plan being that after Harry got on the boat Dudley would start on his pokémon adventure. Hagrid and Beheeyem dropped the boys off on the street corner right across from the docks and left before the boys realized it.

Standing on the corner both boys could see families of all shapes and sizes crowding the docks and saying their goodbyes to their kids. The ship behind all the people was a simple two-floored white boat with red letters down the haul declaring that the ship was called the 'Hogwarts' Express'. Dudley glanced at Harry before grabbing his arm and pulling him into the crowd. He pushed and shoved their way to the front of the crowd next to one of the boarding ramps before he stopped them and looked at Harry.

"This is it Har." He said as he looked at the younger boy.

"Yeah it is." Harry spoke back awkwardly as he stared at the ground. Dudley just sighed before he grabbed the other boy in a bone-crushing hug. The dark haired boy squeaked as he was picked up a little, but he returned the hug never the less.

"Relax Har, you'll do just fine. You'll have Angel with you and any time you need me, I'll be there." Dudley said as put the younger boy down.

"Thanks D man. I needed that." Harry gave a small smile before he heard the horns of the ship sounding. Kids were saying their final goodbyes and getting on the ship as parents and families started to leave.

"It's cool Harry, that's what family's for anyway. You best get going though." Dudley laughed. Harry nodded and left after getting a second quick hug. Dudley stood there waving goodbye until he couldn't see his cousin any more. With Harry now gone, the older boy walked off in the direction of Burrow Village already thinking about challenging the Electric gym there.

Once on the ship, Harry started walking around looking for a cabin to stay in. He had been looking for an empty cabin but eventually he found one with only one person in it. Harry knocked on the door and opened it when he heard a soft voice saying it was open. As he entered, he saw that the other occupant was a young girl about his age with long bushy brown hair and caramel eyes. She had a large book open in front of her that she had obviously been read when he came in. The cabin she was in had two benches that sat facing each other with a large window showing the sea outside. What really got Harry's attention was the small brown and yellow pokémon sitting in the girls lap with its hands on the book that looked asleep but turned to look at him standing in the door way.

"Is there something I can help you with?" She asked.

Harry shook his head. "No. I was just wondering if I could sit here. If not that's fine too." The girl looked at him before glancing down to her pokémon.

"Well what do you think, Morpheus? Can he sit here or no?" She asked. The newly named Morpheus continued to stare at Harry for a minute more before turning back to the book. The girl looked back at Harry with a smile.

"Morpheus seems cool with it, so you can sit with us. I'm Hermione by the way, Hermione Granger." Hermione said. Harry smiled before sitting in front of the reading duo.

"Harry. So what would've happened if Morpheus wasn't cool with me here?" He asked as he looked at the little pokémon. Hermione gained a bit of an embarrassed look as she ran her fingers behind Morpheus' right ear.

"Morpheus is real protective of me, has been ever since we met. So if he thought you were bad company then, he would have made you leave. There was this older dark haired girl that came by earlier that wanted a seat here, but Morpheus didn't like the things he saw in the girl's mind so he teleported her to the other side of the ship." She said with a slight grin.

Harry laughed as he said. "It's good that you have someone looking out for you like that. Course I can't really say anything against it, cause Angel does the same for me." And with that he let Angel out of her pokeball. She looked around for a bit before laying down across Harry's lap. Hermione looked at the Absol on his lap with awe.

"I've never seen an Absol up close like this before." She said before reaching her hand out to the disaster pokémon. Angel lifted her head and stared at the hand coming near her. She then looked up into Hermione's eyes. After a few seconds, the disaster pokémon closed her eyes and leaned forward into the young girl's hand. They stayed like that for a while before Angel lend back and dropped her head back onto her trainer's lap. Harry and Hermione got to talking about anything and everything they could think of before Hermione asked a question that had been bugging her for a while now.

"Harry, I don't mean to pry but where did you get Angel from? No pokémon shop in Avalon sells Absols; they haven't since before the time of you-know-who." She asked. Harry was quiet for a long moment after that. Hermione thought she might have said something wrong before Harry ran a hand through his hair and stared out the window.

"I used to live on an island near the Hoenn region. Angel found me when I was being bullied; she saved me when others just pretended that they couldn't see me. Angel didn't just save me once either, she saved me every day that she stayed with me. She wasn't my pokémon and she had no reason to stay with me, but she did. "Harry said with a small smile on his face as he looked at his pokémon, his Angel. It was obvious that he wasn't really paying attention to anything but the Absol on his lap. "When I got my Hogwarts letter I knew the only pokémon that was going with me was Angel, even if I didn't have a pokeball for her she was still going with me. Luckily, my cousin knew someone that dealt in pokeballs and she gave me one for Angel. And now here we are." Things were quite after Harry finished speaking. Hermione didn't know what to say and Harry seemed content to stare out the window.

Eventually Harry looked back at Hermione. "So how did you get Morpheus? Did you buy him at a shop or was it something else?" Hermione smiled down at her pokémon as Morpheus closed the book they had been reading and wrapped his arms around his trainer's neck and buried his head in her neck. Harry could just barely see one of his eyes staring back at his as if to say 'MINE!' The bespectacled boy chuckled while Hermione sighed and rolled her eyes.

"Honestly I'm not sure how I ended up with him either. I was in Diagon City getting my supplies for Hogwarts when I met him. I had just left one of the bookstores when a flash of light happened in front of me and next thing I knew there's an Abra sitting on the street staring at me. I looked around for his trainer but no one was even looking at us, so I crouched down to him trying to figure out what he was doing out there on his own. Before I could even speak, Morpheus wrapped his arms around my neck and wouldn't let go. I had just started freaking out when a man came running out of the store I was standing in front of. Turns out, I was in front of a small pokémon shop and Morpheus was one of the pokémon meant to be sold. Anyway, this guy comes over to me and he starts crying on me saying 'thank Arceus' over and over again. Eventually He calmed down enough to tell me that he had had Morpheus for years and had given up hope that he would ever sell him. Morpheus didn't get along with any of the potential trainers that had come to the store. Apparently, any trainer that tried to buy him, he gave them hallucinations and nightmares thus earning the name Morpheus. The man said that when I walked by the shop, Morpheus broke out of his pokeball and Teleported out the store. The guy wanted me to keep Morpheus but I told him that I couldn't afford to buy him. He looked terrified before he practically shoved a pokeball into my hand and said it was a gift cause Morpheus obviously wanted to be with me. The man ran back into the store before I could say anything else. Morpheus been with me ever since." Hermione shrugged her shoulders with Morpheus still hugging her.

Harry laughed and was about to say something when they heard a soft scratching sound at the door. Hermione looked at Harry with her eyebrow raised, but Harry only shrugged before opening the door. As he did a small green pokémon with a leaf coming out of its head ran passed him and jumped onto the bench next to Hermione and Morpheus.

Harry closed the door and retook his seat. Both trainers and pokémon stared at the new pokémon trying to figure out what the little thing was doing there. Before anyone could do anything, there was a knock at the door. Hermione answered the door this time and found a nervous looking young boy with brown hairs and eyes. He was looking down to the floor almost like he couldn't meet their eyes.

"Ex- excuse me? Ha- have you seen a Chikorita? She took off this way and I- I need to find her." The boy became quiet after realizing that all eyes were on him. A low sigh had everyone but the boy in the doorway turning to look at the pokémon still sitting next to Morpheus. The pokémon was shaking its head before a green vine reached out from its body and moved towards the boy in the doorway. The thin vine gently wrapped around the boy's hand and pulled him forward.

The boy gave a tiny gasp when the vine started pulling, but he quickly quieted when he realized where the vine was coming from. The rest of the cabin's occupants just watched as the Chikorita moved the boy until he was sitting on the bench. Once seated the grass type climbed onto his lap and looked at everyone else expectantly.

Hermione looked Morpheus who was looking at the new duo before he turned to look at Hermione with his arms up. She sighed as she went to pick him up and reclaim her seat while Harry and Angel just snickered at the sight. Once everyone was comfortable, Harry decided to start things off.

"Hi, my names Harry and this beautiful girl is Angel." He said while petting the disaster pokémon. Angel lifted her head to the duo and nodded before lying back down. The boy looked at Harry and Angel then Hermione and Morpheus before finally staring down at his Chikorita.

"M- My names Neville Longbottom and this is my partner Basil." He mumbled. The newly named Basil sat up proudly in her trainer's lap as vines came forward and stopped in front of Harry and Hermione. They glanced at each other before shrugging and shaking hands with the vines. Hermione introduced her and Morpheus soon after and the group quickly got to know their new members.

PpppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppP

It was only a couple more hours before the Express was to dock and the sun was just starting to set. Neville and Basil were sleeping against the wall while Hermione and Morpheus were reading their book and Harry and Angel were watching the sea when the door to their cabin opened. Everyone jumped a little at the sudden intrusion and Neville almost fell off the bench but Basil caught him with her vines. There standing in the door way was a red headed boy looking around the cabin. As his eyes glanced over the pokémon in the cabin, Harry could see the greed and jealousy in the boy's gaze. Seeing this, Harry put a hand on the side of Angel's neck and sat up a little straighter. Hermione saw Harry's move and she pulled Morpheus closer to her body. Neville was oblivious to sudden tension in the cabin, but Basil was not. The grass type pokémon finished helping her trainer back onto the bench but she kept her vines wrapped lightly around his waist. The redhead eventually turned his gaze to the humans in the cabin.

"Hi there! Names Ronald B. Weasley but you can call me Ron. Is it all right if I sit here? Everywhere else is full." He said with a cheesy smile on his face as he sat down next to Harry. Angel growled softly at the boy but she didn't move. Harry glanced over at Hermione and Neville before turning to the boy next to him.

"Sure? I mean it's yours if you want it. I'm Harry, the guy across from you is Neville and next to him is Hermione. My pokémon's Angel, Basil is sitting next to Neville and Morpheus is the little guy in Hermione's lap." Harry said and only Hermione could hear the tension in his voice. She could tell that he wasn't sure about this new boy. The bushy haired girl glanced down to Morpheus to see he take on the stranger. The young Abra was staring at Ron hard. He was trying to see the boy's mind, but all he was getting was a blank. Morpheus didn't know if this meant that the boy was stupid or what, but he certainly didn't like the redhead. If Ron so much as twitched wrong, he was Teleporting the boy into the sea.

Neville still oblivious to the tension asked. "So where's your partner?" His stuttering was getting better now that he was relaxed and knew that he wouldn't be laughed at. Ron looked upset, before pulling out an older dinged standard pokeball. From inside the red and white ball came a small yellow and orange/ brown mouse like pokémon. Everyone in the cabin could tell that it was an older, much older, Raichu. The Raichu was missing a toe but otherwise looked ok.

"This is Scabbers. He's been in my family for years. My dad gave him to me cause I couldn't get any of my family's starter Pokémon to come to me." Ron grumbled as Scabbers slept on his lap. Harry tilted his head slightly. "Starter pokémon?" he asked.

Surprisingly enough it was Neville who answered. "Mo- Most pureblood families breed certain types of pokémon for one reason or another, usually be-because the Pokémon is rare and they want to be able to have one. Some of these Pokémon are gi-given to the children of the families to have as their first pokémon. My family breeds Meganium but I don't know what the Weasleys breed." At this, he glanced over at Ron.

The red head nodded as his ears turned pink. "The Weasleys don't breed any Pokémon. In Burrow Village its tradition that when a person becomes a trainer, they go into the forest around the village and find a Pokémon that comes to them. When that happens the Pokémon becomes that trainer's first Pokémon. Almost all the Pokémon around my town are electic types, it's why Burrow Village is home to the Electric gym. Anyway I went out to find one but none of the Pokémon would come near me. My dad gave me one of his old Pokémon after I spent the night in the forest trying to find one." The cabin was in a bit of an awkward silence after that. Eventually someone tried to break the silence.

"So, I heard that the boy-who-lived is coming to Hogwarts this year. I wonder if he really has a lightning bolt scar on his head. It'd be wicked if he did right?" Ron asked while grinning at everyone. Neville looked thoughtful and Hermione looked indifferent while Harry looked slightly nervous. The young bespectacled boy didn't want anyone to know he was the boy-who-lived; he wanted them to think of him as Harry and just Harry.

"I think it'd be nice to meet him and see what he's like, but otherwise I don't really think it matters if the boy-who-lived goes to school with us." Neville said. Ron looked at him like he was crazy.

"Are you stupid or something? It's Harry Bloody Potter, the boy-who-lived, he'll be awesome! I bet he'll be a Gryffindor like me. There's no way he'd be anything else." He exclaimed. Neville stared down at Basil after the stupid comment and didn't say anything else. Hermione got a distasteful look on her face.

"You shouldn't talk about someone like you know them if you've never met them. And you don't know if he'll get into Gryffindor or not. People go to whichever house is best for them. It says so in Hogwarts: a History." She said while glaring at the redhead. Ron just scuffed at her.

"He's the bloody boy-who-lived; he has to be a Gryffindor. If he went anywhere else it'd be a crime against his legacy. You'll be a Ravenclaw no doubt, what with you reading school books before we even get to school. Only nerdy Claws would do that." He sneered at her. Neville's head shot up at that.

"Y-You shouldn't get m- m- mad at her. Sh-She was just telling the tr-truth." He said as he tried to glare at Ron. His stutter was back full force, but he didn't care. He knew he wasn't being intimidating but he really didn't like the redhead being mean to his friend. Hermione and Harry were the first people his age to treat Neville like an equal and he wasn't about to let anyone be mean to them.

By now Morpheus had had enough of the redhead, so he raised both of his arms out towards Ron. A faint purple glow outlined Ron and Scabbers. The redhead squeaked before he vanished in a flash. People on the other side of the ship looked out their windows in surprise as a redheaded boy and a Raichu appeared out of thin air before falling into the sea.

Back on the other side of the ship, Hermione was hugging Morpheus to her tightly while telling him what a good boy he was. After she let him go, Hermione gave Neville a small hug too.

"Thanks for standing up for me." She said as she let Neville go. She meant it too, Hermione had never had friends that would stand up for her if she was being insulted and to be honest she really liked having someone do that for her.

"S-Sure any-anytime." He stammered out while blushing.

Hermione smile at him before taking her seat again. Harry looked on with a small smile on his face. He had been quiet during the whole thing, trying to not bring attention to himself. That plan was a little flawed because the moment Ron insulted Hermione, Harry was ready to jump in and deal with the annoying redhead but Morpheus beat him to it.

Harry leaned back into his seat while running his hand through his hair, as he relaxed. Unfortunately for him, by doing that he had moved his bangs out of his face for just a moment. Suddenly the cabin was much quieter that it had been before. In that moment, Harry knew at least one of his new friends had seen his scar.

"You're Harry Potter, aren't you." Neville stated more then asked with a nervous look in his eyes. He wasn't afraid of Harry, he just didn't want to make the bespectacled boy upset.

Harry looked back and forth between Neville and Hermione before sighing. "Yea I am. Please don't be mad that I didn't tell you earlier, I just wanted you to like me for me and not the whole 'boy-who-lived' thing." He pleaded as he kept looking at them, wanting them to understand. Neville looked surprised but he quickly got over it. In his mind it didn't matter if Harry was THE Harry Potter, he was just happy to have a friend that actually cared about what he thought. Harry tilted his head at Hermione with his eyebrows scrunched up slightly. "You're not surprised?" He asked.

Hermione gained a sheepish look before responding. "I already knew you were Harry Potter."

Now it was Harry's turn to look shocked. "Ho-How?" He managed to get out. Hermione shrugged as she ran her fingers behind Morpheus' right ear. Harry noticed she did that whenever she was starting to get embarrassed or nervous.

"When you told me about Angel, you ran your hand through your hair. I saw your scar, but I didn't say anything. Morpheus thought you were a good person and I enjoyed having you around so if you wanted to hide your scar then it was fine by me. Figured you'd tell me when you were ready anyway." Hermione said and she meant it. Maybe if she'd known he was Harry Potter when they first met it would have made a difference, but to her he was just Harry now.

"Thank you, both of you. It really means a lot to me." Harry smiled while Angel made a soft purring growl in the back of her throat. Neville gave a small smile while Basil nodded her head. Hermione just grinned and Morpheus hugged her again. The six friends continued talking amongst themselves while a certain red head was being fished out of the sea by a deckhand.

PpppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppP

"We'll be docking in Hogsmeade town here in the next ten minutes, thank you for riding the Hogwarts' Express." A voice said on the intercom system throughout the ship.

Hermione glanced at Harry and Neville. "We should really change into our uniforms. You guys wanna go first?" She asked as she got out her Hogwarts' gear. Neville looked over to Harry and the green-eyed boy just shrugged. It didn't really matter to him if she went first or they did. Neville seemed to get that and so he stood up.

"You go head, Hermione. We'll go after you." The grass trainer said as he and Harry stepped out the door. A minute later Hermione came out in a white shirt with a white and gray skirt and a white jacket with gray trim and gray patches on the shoulders and elbows. Neville and Harry went back into the cabin and quickly changed. When Hermione walked back in, she found both boys wearing a white shirt with white pants that had a gray streak running down the legs and the same white and gray jacket as her.

"We should probably put our pokémon in their pokeballs, at least until we get off the ship and into the school." Harry said as he pulled out Angel's pokeball. The others nodded as they got out their own pokeballs. Hermione had a blue and white pokeball with two red strikes on it while Neville had a green pokeball with four red tear marking and one yellow circle on it.

After the pokémon were safely in their pokeballs, the trio left their cabin and started making their way to the boarding ramps area. As they walked, more students joined them. Once they got to the ramps, they saw Hogsmeade town for the first time. The town itself was only maybe fifty to a hundred buildings if that. The town was really just a place for the Hogwarts' Express to drop off and pick up students and for students to relax in on the weekends. Eventually the ship finished docking and a voice on the intercoms said it was safe to disembark. Most of the students tried to disembark at the same time making it difficult for anyone to really get off the ship. Hermione grabbed hold of Harry and Neville's jackets and held them still out of the way of the other students until it was safer for them to go down the ramps. Once they were off the ship, the trio heard a very loud voice calling out.

"FIRST YEARS! FIRST YEARS THIS WAY! FIRST YEARS!" The voice yelled. As the group made their way towards the voice, Harry realized it was Hagrid that was yelling. He could see Hagrid standing next to some small four-man boats. From where he stood, Harry could just make out Beheeyem on the older male's shoulder. Next to the large man was a pink bulldog looking pokémon that he knew was a Grunbull. It was gesturing for the first years to get into the little boats.

Harry, Neville, and Hermione got into one of the boat along with a redheaded girl who said her name was Susan. Once all the first years were in boats Hagrid's Grunbull gave a loud howl and the boats started to move.

From the boats, the trio could see Hogwarts in all its glory. It looked like a castle straight out of the tales of King Arthur, but it still had a bit of a modern flare to it. They could see the castle walls being lit up by sport lights all around the place and the light made the castle glow almost as if the place had its own inner light that it wanted to show to its new tenants. It sat on a cliffs edge proudly showing all that it was there and that it wasn't going anywhere. Eventually the boats entered a cave below the cliffs.

When the boats came to a stop at a small dock, Hagrid and the first years climbed out of the boats in front of a very large set of doors. Hagrid knocked on the doors and waited before a woman stepped out. The woman was older them most, but there was a fierce light in her eyes that screamed she was not to be messed with. She wore a red button up shirt with black dress pants and a white lab coat with ruby red trim and two red stripes running down the arms of the coat. On the left side of the coat on her chest was a red shield with a Pyroar on it with a Capital H in the background. At the woman's side was a large tan cat with a red gem on its forehead and red eyes that seemed just as fierce as its mistress.

"The first years, Professor McGonagall." Hagrid said.

"Thank you Rubeus that will be all." The newly named Professor McGonagall said with a hint of a smile. Hagrid nodded and left without another word. Professor McGonagall turned to the young first years in front of her.

"My name is Professor McGonagall and I will be your Pokémon Interactions Professor. In a few minutes you will join you fellow students in the Great Hall. There you will be sorted into one of the four houses here at Hogwarts. They are Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Every house has an outstanding history and every house has produced exceptional Trainers. Here at Hogwarts your house is like your family, for every achievement you shall receive house points. Any rule breaking and you will lose points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points wins the House Cup. Wait here and I will call you when it is time for you to be sorted. I suggest you spruce yourselves up a bit before then." She said as she looked at Neville's crooked jacket and a certain redhead's dirty nose. Hermione reached over to Neville and adjusted his jacket while Harry looked her and himself over for any problems. Neville smiled his thanks to them and they grinned back. Professor McGonagall gave a small smile at that before she turned and went back through the doors.

The first years talked quietly amongst themselves. Most were guessing what the sorting test was. Some thought they sorted you by how much you knew about pokémon. Others thought you had to fight a Conkeldurr and based off how well you did would decide your house. Neville almost fainted when he heard that one, but Hermione told him real quick that there was no way they'd have to fight a Conkeldurr on their first day there. As she was reassuring him, a certain redhead started stomping up to them.

"You! You're the one who threw me off the ship!" Ron yelled at Hermione, quickly getting the attention of all the first years. Harry moved to stand in front of his friend as the redhead finally got close to them.

Ron was wearing the same uniform are them, but his was different. His pants were too long on him so they bunched up around his feet and his jacket looked to be too small around his torso with the sleeves being just a tad longer than his arms. He stopped a foot way from Harry and started yelling; all the while he was glaring at Hermione over Harry's shoulder.

"The bloody hell is your problem? Why'd you throw me in the sea?" He screamed as he tried to get closer. Harry pushed the redhead back a little for his efforts. Hermione looked at him as if she couldn't care less about him, but only Harry and a certain silver blonde boy could tell she was nervous. Neville moved to stand at her side and held her hand. Hermione never looked way from Ron, but she did squeeze the other boy's hand before letting go.

"You were being rude. Besides, I didn't throw you off... Morpheus did." She said calmly. Ron turned almost as red as his hair. He was about to say something when someone interrupted him.

"Classes haven't even started yet and you're already making friends. Weasley, you must be so happy." A sarcastic voice drawled. Almost as one, the crowd and group arguing turned to were the voice came from.

There stood a blonde haired boy wearing a uniform made of the finest materials. He walked towards the group with a slight smirk on his face. Ron looked even more pissed now that the blonde was there.

"Malfoy this has nothing to do with you, so what are you doing here?" The redhead all but snarled.

Malfoy gave him a patronizing glance. "Not that it's any of your concern Weasley, but I just came to see a quantize of mine." With that, the blonde turned to Harry, completely dismissing the redhead. "It's good to see you Harry. Sorry I couldn't find you on the Express."

The bespectacled boy gave a slight grin; he could tell what the blonde was doing and was more than happy to play along. "It's alright Draco and it's nice to see you too. Allow me to introduce my new friends, Hermione Granger and Neville Longbottom. Guys? This is Draco Malfoy."

Hermione and Neville nodded to the blonde with smiles on their faces. Draco was about to say something when Ron decided to make his presence known again. "You're friends with a bloody Malfoy! No wonder you threw me off the ship. I bet you're all dark trainers just like him!" The redhead sneered at them.

Before anything else could be said, Professor McGonagall returned. "Is there a problem here?" She questioned. Her Persian was still by her side glaring at all the students. Everyone quickly shook their heads no. Professor McGonagall stared at them a moment more before she lead the students through the large doors.

Through the doors were four long tables that ran most of the length of the room. At these tables sat students wearing red, blue, green, and yellow perceptively. The table with students wearing red was on the far right of the room. Next to them was the table with students wearing yellow. To the far left was the table with students wearing green. In between the green and yellow tables sat the table with students wearing blue. At the far end of the room, passed the four tables, sat a smaller table were the Professors were watching the students.

Professor McGonagall led the young first years in between the blue and yellow tables to stand in front of the Professors' table. Once the students came to a stop, an old man rose from the Professor's table. He wore a long white lab coat. On the left breast of the coat was a shield that was broken up into four parts. The upper right part was red with a Pyroar on it. The lower right was a blue color with a Swanna on it. The upper left was yellow with a Hariyama on it. The lower left was a green color with a Cacturne on it. A large capital H was in the background on the shield. The man wore a gray button up collared shirt with a red tie and tan dress slack to complete his look. He looked around at all the students before his gaze settled on the group before him. The man had a soft smile on his face as he spoke.

"Hello and welcome back to all our new and returning students! For those that don't know or simply forgot, I am Professor Dumbledore the headmaster of this fine school. Now, I believe we have some new students to sort don't we?" He said as he held up a simple pokeball for all to see. The students in red and yellow cheered while the students in blue and green merely clapped. Professor Dumbledore tossed his pokeball into the air. The pokémon that came out was pink, and stood tall and proud before the students. It had a whitish tan stomach and wore a white and red clothe around its shoulders. On its head sat a crown like seashell.

Professor McGonagall stood next to the pokémon holding a small tablet in her hands. "When I call your name, please come stand in front of Slowking and he will sort you. Abbott, Hannah!" She called as a young girl walked up to the physic type. When the girl got to it, Slowking's eyes began to glow. No one moved for a long moment before finally the glow left the pokémon's eyes.

"HUFFLEPUFF!" The pokémon declared. The yellow table cheered loudly while the other three tables clapped politely. Up at the Professors' table, a heavy set woman smiled and cheered right along with them. She wore a tan duster with yellow trim and three small yellow streaks running down each of the arms of her duster. Over her right breast was a yellow shield with a Hariyama on it and a capital H in the background. The woman wore a bronze orange colored shirt with a pair of worn brown khakisand faded light brown leather boots.

Once the Abbott girl was sitting with her new house, Professor McGonagall called another name. One by one, students went up and stood before the Slowking and were sorted. The four houses clapped and cheered for them. Finally, Professor McGonagall came to the first of some very interesting students.

"Granger, Hermione!" She called. Hermione all but ran up to the psychic type. Once she was standing in front of it, Slowking's eyes began to glow again. The world around them seemed to slow to a standstill. The bright colors all disappeared until the Great Hall was nothing but black, white and shades of gray. Hermione looked around nervously before Slowking spoke.

"Calm yourself child, everything is well." It said in a kind voice full of warmth. Hermione couldn't tell if it was a male or female voice, but it still made her feel safe. Eventually she turned back to the pokémon.

"You're using your powers, aren't you? That's why everything's different now, isn't it?" She asked.

Slowking seemed to give a smile as he walked around Hermione. "Yes I am. You are quiet the clever girl, aren't you? Most students panic for a moment before asking me what happened. But enough of that, we're here to sort you after all." It said as it waved its hand. Three figures seemed to materialize out of thin air. It was clear to see that all three were tall females with brown, but that seemed to be were their similarities ended.

The first was a tall brunette, easily the tallest of the group. She wore black dress pants with a forest green button up blouse and a black dress jacket. Around her neck was a small chain that had a small multi colored stone on it. The woman herself was beautiful. She had deep caramel eyes that seemed to say you can't beat me, so don't even try. Her hair was a dark brown and was pulled into a tight bun. She was smirking slightly and Hermione got the feel that this woman was bad and she knew it. The woman shot the younger female a wink every time her companions weren't looking.

The second was a tall brunette too, but was a few inches shorter than her green and black friend. She wore a white lab coat with a navy blue t-shirt under it. She had on a pair of tan slacks and blue flats. Like the first, this woman was beautiful. Her eyes were a light brown color and they had a curious sheen to them, like the owner of said eyes wanted to understand everything about the world around her. The woman's hair was different shades of brown and it was so bushy and wild that it looked almost intimidating, but she had it in a messy ponytail over one shoulder. In her arms was a notebook that was labeled theories and the woman opened it to read or write something in every few minutes.

The final woman was just as tall as the woman with the lab coat. She wore a small tan leather jacket with red trim that stop just past her ribs. Under the jacket, she wore a black tank top. The woman had on loose jeans with two red belts on. She wore red and white converse on her feet and a thin chain around her neck with the same multi colored stone as the first woman only it was shaped a tear drop and rested on the hollow of her neck. She was beautiful like the others. The woman had deep caramel eyes that held a fire to them that seemed to scream Come on! Give me your best shot! Her brown hair had touches of lights and darks with a hint of blonde to it, and she had it done in light curls to just passed her shoulders. The woman grinned at Hermione like there was no tomorrow and sent slight glares at the woman in black for winking at the younger female.

Hermione looked over the women for a long moment before turning to the Slowking. "These women are me aren't they?" She stated more than questioned. The psychic pokémon nodded and looked over at the women.

"They are you, or rather who you could become. Everyone has the makings of the four houses, though some more than others, I just help you choose were you belong the most." It said as it walked up to the woman in black.

"This is who you could be if you chose Slytherin. You are certainly most cunning and very ambitious, though most of the house of green will be very hateful to you due to your blood, you had the drive to take them all on and prove how great you truly are. In the years to come you will earn their respect as one of the forerunners in power. It will be a long road filled with hard work and even tougher moments and at times you'll want to give up but your drive will see you through to the finish line. You will not have many friends if you chose Slytherin, but the few that you do get will be by your side until the very end." Slowking said and the Slytherin Hermione nodded with a slight smirk. Next, it walked over to the woman in the lab coat, who closed her book at smiled at Hermione.

"Ravenclaw would be the most obvious choice and possibly the best fit for you. Your thirst for knowledge will be well at home here. You will be able to push yourself to your very limits in the house of blue and more than likely brake every academic record at this school. However, you will be more alone in the Swanna's nest then you have ever been before. Like in Slytherin, you will not have many friends, but unlike the house of green you will never be close with the friends you do make. You will be the brightest trainer the world has ever seen and the loneliest trainer to ever walk the halls of Hogwarts." Ravenclaw Hermione just shrugged at the psychic type before going back to her notebook.

Finally, the psychic pokémon came to a stop next to the woman in red. "Gryffindor is not a likely match for you by any means. However, you have many qualities that one would expect in a member of the house of red. The young Lileos are more for action then thinking, and to them your thinking things through approach won't make much sense. Nevertheless, you will be challenged in every way possible and you will rise to meet every challenge, proving to all that you can be just as fierce, couragece and noble as the mighty Pyroar. You will have adventures, the likes of which you can only imagine. You will go far in Gryffindor just as you would in Slytherin or Ravenclaw. You will have many people you care about, but only a few good friends that like in Slytherin will be there for forever." It said. Gryffindor Hermione grinned at her younger self and nodded to her.

Hermione looked between the three of them before her eyes locked on to the red and green Hermiones. Both women stepped forward and stood side by side in front of their younger self. The two women glared at each other for a second before turning to Hermione and flashing their best smirks. The real Hermione thought it was funny that their smirks were the same even though both women exuded completely different auras.

Now, Hermione was a smart girl and she knew about the rivalry between Slytherin and Gryffindor. The two houses hated each other with a passion and always say that they're different from each other. However, despite all their differences, Hermione thought that the two houses were the same. Really, the only difference that Hermione saw between the two was that Gryffindors didn't think things though and Slytherins were really narrow minded.

From what Slowking said, Hermione knew that her life would be much the same in either house but something the psychic type said kept calling in her mind. Slowking spoke of adventures and Hermione knew deep down that they were something she wanted. For as long as she could remember, the young trainer had always dreamed of adventure. She used to imagen that she was the great hero in all the books that she read. The scientist that went to different places all around the world to discover the truth. The heroine that saved the day at the last possible second. The world leaders that stopped wars. The ones who got their names in the history books and the science books. These were things that Hermione read about and dreamed of being.

If they read her mind, the older Gryffindor Hermione grinned at her counterpart. Slytherin Hermione signed while rolling her eyes at the other woman. She bowed to Hermione before she faded away. Now standing in front of Hermione were the red and blue versions of her future. Before she even had a chance to think, the Ravenclaws Hermione gave a wistful smile before she too vanished into thin air.

Hermione turned to Slowking. "Why'd she leave, I haven't pick a house yet?" Slowking walked to stand next to the only future Hermione still there.

"You made your choose as you chose Gryffindor over Slytherin. You want to see the world and all it was to offer, have friends, and be the best you can. You would not do those things in Ravenclaw. Are you ready to return to the real world?" It said as the final Hermione faded away. Now it was just Slowking and Hermione in the black and white world. The young psychic type trainer nodded.

"GRYFFINDOR!" suddenly the world was back in motion and Slowking's eyes stopped glowing. Slowking gently nudged the girl towards the red table were everyone was cheer for her. Harry, Neville, and Draco all cheered for her as well, though Draco was far more subtle about it than the others. As Hermione walked to the Gryffindor table a certain redhead scowled the whole time.

Professor McGonagall continued to call names as more students were sorted. Eventually she got to another member of the little group." Longbottom, Neville" she called. Neville stumbled up to the psychic Pokémon. He could just barely hear some trainers laughing before the world stood still.

Neville looked around and started to whimper when he realized he was alone. "It's all right young man, you are not alone." Slowking said. Neville jumped at the sudden voice but did indeed calm down.

"Wha-Whats go-go-going on?" he stammered.

"We're doing your sorting my friend, now come on over here and we can begin." Slowking said and waved its hand. In a flash two young men now stood before them.

The first was a young man wearing a skin tight yellow shirt with tan work pant and brown leather work boots. Around his waist was a thick dark brown leather belt that has multiple pockets and his belt buckle was the Hufflepuff crest. The boy was big, coming in at just over six foot and nothing but pure muscle. He had light brown hair that fell into his dark hazel eyes and a kind smile on his face. There was warmth to his eyes that gave him a happy go lucky feel that took away from the intimidating factor of how big he was. The man gave Neville a big smile when he saw him and waved at the male standing next to himself. Neville got the impression of a gentle giant from the guy.

Next to the giant was a man who was just as tall. This male was wearing a loose red shirt with faded baggy grey jeans and tan boots. Around the man's neck was a dark grey chain that lead to a pair of dog tags. On one of the tags, Neville could just barely read the names of his parents and on the other sat a strange rainbow colored stone in the shape of a leaf. The man also had a brown jacket with dark red sleeves wrapped around his waist. While the man was just as tall as the other male, he was not as big muscle wise. The man in red was leaner built with both strength and speed in mind. He had the same eyes and hair as the larger man and sported a warm crooked grin on his face. The same warmth lived in his eyes as it did in the Hufflepuff but there was an edge to it. A slight hardness that whispered that this man was a fighter, a protector. Neville knew without a doubt that while the man wouldn't ever be the first on the battlefield, he would fight tooth and nail to protect his friends and family no matter what came at him.

Slowking stood in front of the two men and turned to Neville. "You my young friend may not be the most ambitus or the most academically inclined but you do have some of the best qualities that a man can hope for." The psychic gestured to the giant in yellow.

"Hufflepuff is probably the best choice for you. You have an understanding of friendship, loyalty, and hard work the likes of which would make Helga proud. Hufflepuffs are often thought of as weak and cowardly for not getting into fights when the other house mess with them but that is not true. It takes strength to not lash out when others bother you, a kind of strength most do not have. In the years to come, you will be the one others come to for trust, understanding, and acceptations. A leader of yellow respected by many, one who will be mentioned long after you're time here." The Hufflepuff giant continued to smile as he nodded his head towards the younger male.

Slowking stepped next to the male in red. "Gryffindor is another good choice for you. The same qualities that make you a great Hufflepuff make you a good Gryffindor as well. You won't have as many friends in red as you will in yellow, but the ones you do get will form a pride with you that will stand the test of time. For now you lack confidents, but in time you will learn to have faith in yourself and your abilities. People often think that Gryffindors are glory seeking trainers that run into battle without care, and while that may be true of some Lileos, it is not true of you. You won't be the type of trainer to go looking for trouble, but if trouble finds you then you will do whatever it takes to protect those precious to you. Though your metal is untested, you have the bravery to stand firm against any challenge. Adventure waits in the Pyroar's tower and you have the courage to find it." Neville's Gryffindor future grinned as he crossed his arms over his chest.

Red and Yellow stood side by side waiting for their younger self to choose who he wanted to be. Neville stood watching his to futures smile at him. The young grass trainer was undecided, he was happy with either house so to him it didn't really make much difference. Neville was leaning more towards Hufflepuff when Hermione, Harry, and to a lesser extent Draco flashed into his mind. Hermione was already a Gryffindor and he thought Harry would be too. Draco, he wasn't too sure about but Neville figured that they could be friends no matter what house the young Malfoy ended up in.

In that moment, Gryffindor Neville and Hufflepuff Neville both grinning proudly. The giant in yellow's grin was a little sad was there was so much pride in his eyes that you almost wouldn't know he was sad. The two version of the future shake hands before the Hufflepuff vanished into thin air. Slowking moves to stand in front of Neville again. "A very good choice young man and you do Helga proud even if you aren't in her house. So shall we return then?" Neville glanced at the Gryffindor him before turning to the psychic Pokémon and nodded.

"GRYFFINDOR!" the psychic Pokémon called as the world started moving again. Neville all but ran the red table. Unfortunately he tripped and fell about half way to it. Some students laughed but most smiled at the boy, they remembered what it was like to be a first year right after their sorting. Hermione got up from the table and went to help her friend. Once she helped him back to the table, the two sat next to each other and started quietly talking. The heavy set woman at the professor's table made a mental note to give Gryffindor a few points for helping a friend in need.

The sorting continued on and slowly the group of first years got smaller and smaller, until professor McGonagall called out, "Malfoy, Draco". Draco walked up to Slowking at a slow pace, almost like he had all the time in the world. Eventually he made it to the Pokémon and the world faded away.

Draco wasn't worried about the world around him, as his father told him how the sorting would go. Slowking looked at the young male in front of it before speaking. "You are not surprised about this part so I assume you know what I'm going to say." Draco nodded.

Slowking nodded as he waved his arm. Two men appeared before them. The first was a tall man in a black business suit with a forest green button up and a black tie. He wore emerald cufflinks and a strange rainbow color stone set in a platinum watch around his right wrist. The man had blonde hair that was clean cut and gelled to look perfect. He had light blue eyes that screamed power and bad boy. Honestly to Draco the guy looked as if he just walked off the cover of some business magazine. The man seemed to know it too as he smirked at Draco before checking his watch.

The other male in the lineup was a slightly shorter man wearing a black leather jacket with dark red trim. Under the jacket, the man was wearing a blood red shirt that had a black stripe across the chest. He was wearing ripped jeans and a black leather belt with chains on it as well as black leather boots with red laces. On his left middle finger was a thick black ring that had the same strange stone set in it. The man had dirty blonde hair that fell into his eyes. Said eyes were a deep blue color that shined with a devil-may-care attitude. The man winked at Draco as Slowking stepped up to them.

"You are smart and have a great understanding of handwork event if you don't always show it. You would do fine in Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff, but you are Malfoy and people will treat you as such whether you want them to or not. You would never be happy with that so I will not show those futures to you unless you ask." Slowking said before he paced and looked at Draco. The young Malfoy shook his head no, he didn't want to what might have been; only what will be concerned him. Slowking gestured to the man in the suit.

"Slytherin is the house everyone expects of you and it is the house you would do the best in. you have drive and ambition to spare and you aren't afraid to do what you must to get what you want. The other Cacnea of Slytherin will start to follow you because of your name, but they will continue to follow because you truly are a man worth following. You will bring change to the house of green that it has needed for a very long time. Slytherin is considered the dark house and for the most part that is true, but you will show everyone that even in the darkest places there is still light if one is willing to find it. True you will have to be dark to survive but as long as you never lose yourself, then the darkness will help you be stronger than anyone ever thought you would. You will prove that you are more than just the Malfoy name." The Slytherin Draco nodded his head slightly to the younger male in respect then checked his watch again.

Slowking gestured to the black and red man." Gryffindor is the house that best matches your personality. You are rash, excitable, and recklessly brave just like most of the lileos that call the house of red home. Choosing Gryffindor means losing your name, but still being treated like a Malfoy. It will be hard, but you will have friends that will help you at every step of the way. Like in Slytherin you will prove that you are more the just a Malfoy, but here you will prove it by being a hero rather than being a leader of villains. You will stand on your own two feet here as you show the world just what you truly are." Gryffindor Draco smirked as he crossed his arms. The young Malfoy looked between his two futures conflicted.

Draco knew that he had to pick Slytherin, his father would except no less. Before coming here, that was what he wanted as well. Now though, he was hesitant. Draco still wanted to be a Slytherin, more for himself then for his father this time… But Gryffindor sounded good too. As a Gryffindor, he could still be amazing but he would have friends this way instead of being alone. Sure, Draco knew that even as a Slytherin he would have quittances like Crabbe and Goyle, but he wanted more than just people to do as he said. The young Malfoy thought about Harry, Neville, and Hermione in that moment. Neville and Hermione were already Gryffindors, and while Harry hadn't gone yet Draco was sure that he would end up there too. Draco knew that Neville was a pureblood so it wouldn't be bad if he was friends with him, but Hermione was muggleborn, he knew she was. There was no pureblooded family with the name Granger in England and no pureblooded family would send their child to a foreign school unless absolutely necessary. The fact that she wasn't anything like what his father told him, made the young Malfoy pause. True he didn't know her well yet, but Hermione didn't seem like an evil dirty blooded Pokémon thief looking to steal his way of life. If his father was wrong about her, then maybe he was wrong about all muggleborns. If this was true then Draco really didn't want to be around people who treated muggleborns like garbage.

At the same time, Draco knew that if he went to Gryffindor people would still treat him like a dark trainer. He would be the odd man out and the young Malfoy wasn't sure if having friends was worth it. Luckily for him, Slowking was aware of his dilemma. "You worry about friends verses fitting in? Maybe this will help." The psychic type waved its hand again. Suddenly the two future Dracos were no longer standing side by side. Now there was several feet in between them and fading shadows stood around them. Gryffindor Draco stood in the middle of a decent sized group of shadow but most of them were just faded outlines. Five of the shadow had more depth to them and they stood the closest to him. One shadow was taller than him and stood to his left with its right hand resting on older Draco's shoulder. Real Draco could just barely make out brown hair and the slightest hint of a metal chain around the man's neck. Standing slightly in front of the shadow man was a smaller shadow of a woman. The female shadow had wild hair but everything else about her was too hard for the young Malfoy to figure out. On Gryffindor Draco's other side stood a shadow of a smaller man who bummed his shoulder into Draco's every once in a while. Light seemed to reflect of the shadow's face before real Draco realized the shadow must be wearing glasses. There was a small shadow standing under the arm of the glasses shadow. In fact this shadow was the smallest of all the shadows and all the young Malfoy could see was a hint of blond hair. The final shadow was the one that really had Draco's attention. It was the shadow of a tall woman with a hint of blue eyes. She stood behind Gryffindor Draco with her arms wrapped around his shoulders and her head resting next to his neck.

Slowking looked over the shadows. "In Gryffindor you will have people whom you are friendly to but the five you see before you will be the most important people in your life. They will be your friends and family when others will leave you. Though thick and thin, they will always be there." Next the psychic type moved over to Slytherin Draco.

Like Gryffindor Draco, the Slytherin stood in a group but most of the shadows were still little more than outlines. The five same shadows stood around him, but their placement was different. The shadow with glasses still stood at Draco's right but now he stood a little farther away with his arms crossed behind his head and he was leaning backwards slightly. In front of the older Malfoy stood the smallest shadow and she had her arms crossed over her chest but the shadow blond leaned back into Draco every so often and looked up at him. Real Draco thought he caught the sight of a smile on the shadow's face as she looked up at the older him. The largest shadow stood at Draco's left but he stood slightly back with his arms wrapped around the female shadow in front of him. Said shadow woman now stood next to Draco and seemed to be talking to him. The final shadow still wrapped around older Draco but now her arms were around his waist and seemed to be talking with the glasses shadow.

Slowking turned its head towards Draco. "It will take longer to make friends in Slytherin but your true friends will still be there for you in the end. True you wouldn't be as close to them as you would if you wore the red crest but the lot of you will still be the best of friends regardless of your houses. If you chose them of couse." With that, the shadows vanished until all that was left were the three Dracos and Slowking.

The young Malfoy stared between the two futures before turning to Slowking. "I chose Slytherin." At that Gryffindor Draco stopped smiling but he did nod to Draco before he faded away. Slytherin Draco smirked before he bowed at the waist to his younger self then vanished into thin air. Slowking gestured to the rest of the room.

"Let's get going then, shall we?" Draco nodded as the world started moving again.

"SLYTHERIN!" Slowking roared to the crowd. The table of Green cheered and the other houses clapped. Hermione and Neville both cheered for their new 'almost' friend even as the other Gryffindors looked at them funny for it. Harry cheered as well before he noticed something. A man at the Professor's table clapped for Draco but his eyes are what made Harry take notice. His eyes were so black that the pupils couldn't be seen and in that moment the man's eyes held pride and sadness to them as he watched Draco walk to the Slytherin table. Harry wondered why the man had such a look in his eyes, but then Professor McGonagall called out the next name and he turned his attention back to the sorting.

The number of kids left to be sorted was now smaller than ten trainers, when Professor McGonagall called out, "Potter, Harry". Silence fell over the hall as everyone held their breath wait for the boy-who-lived to step forward. Harry took a deep breath and released it slowly before stepping toward. Almost instantly whispers began as he did so. The young Absol trainer heard people talking about him, judging him and he hated it. Harry kept him head down right till the moment he got to Slowking. As the world faded away, he saw Hermione and Neville grinning at him and giving him thumbs up before they became black and white.

Harry continued to stare at them until a voice sounded from his right. "You have some very good friends there Mr. Potter; you would do well to never forget that." Harry wheeled around just as Slowking turned to look him in the eyes. The psychic type motioned with its head before two men appeared.

The first was an average sized man wearing a black duster with a faded green shirt and black pants. His black hair was slicked back with a small patch falling into his face conveniently covering the scar on his face. The man wore no glasses, which Harry thought was strange, but the man looked better without them. With no glasses in the way, the man's emerald green eyes seemed to glow; there was power to his stare power that all but roared that this man was not to be messed with. The man crossed his arms and as he did Harry could see a steel chain around the man's wrist that had a multi colored stone set in it. The man through a sly smile at Harry, but otherwise acted like no one else was with him.

The other man was slightly taller wearing a red t shirt that was ripped in a few places under a golden brown leather jacket with a red cloth hood and a pair of ripped faded jeans that had the word Gryffindor stitched into one of the legs with scarlet red string. The man wore a thick dark brown belt with a belt buckle in the shape of a roaring Pyroar standing on its hind legs. On one of his fingers sat a thin shiny silver ring with a multi colored stone set in it and a silver L on the top of the stone. The man's black hair was wild and going in every direction possible. Harry wasn't sure if his hair was naturally like that or if the man styled it like that, but he thought it looked cool. The man wore black frame glasses over grass green eyes that seemed to shimmer with life and laughter. He smiled at Harry before glaring at the man in black next to him.

"You Mr. Potter are an interesting one. You are smart but you are not very interested in knowledge itself but more into what you can do with that knowledge. Means Ravenclaw is not a good choice for you, at the same time nether is Hufflepuff but for a different reason. You are one of the most loyal people I have ever had the pleasure of sorting but you aren't very hard working and while you are a good team leader, you're not the best team player. No, the best matches for you are Gryffindor and Slytherin." Slowking said as Harry walked to stand before his two futures.

Slowking pointed to the man in black. "You are cunning when you want to be and more ambitious then you know. Slytherin will open doors for you that will lead you to a future you can hardly imagen. True your heart will harden will you wear the green crest and that is not a bad thing, but you will still hold a soft spot for your friends and family regardless of how you change in life. People will be harder on you for being Slytherin and you will always be casted as the villain even when you're not. Friends will be hard found in Slytherin but you will have them none the less. All and all, the future looks bright for you in the house of the green as long as you never lose your drive." Slytherin Harry bowed his head to Harry as Slowking moved onto the next man.

"Gryffindor is about bravery and courage. Many people believe Gryffindor is also home to honor and for you it will be, but you must remember that not all who have worn the red crest have been heroes. Still you will one day be a man who truly lives up to all that Godric believed in life. You will lead your friends and family on adventures, doing and experiencing things people will hardly ever understand. Speaking of friends, you will certainly have quite a few. You have already met two of your lifelong friends and a boy who could become the greatest friend and rival you could ever hope for, as long as you don't let him go. Your life will have highs and lows, moments of pleasure and sorrow, but you will love every second of it. With the red crest on your chest, your life will be remembered for a long time to come my young friend. " Gryffindor Harry smirked at younger Harry as he puffed out his chest.

Harry stood before his future lost in thought. As he stood there counting the pros and cons of both houses, something caught his eye. It was the eyes of two men before him. While there was power in the Slytherin's eyes, there was little else to his stare. When Harry looked into Gryffindor Harry's eyes, he saw life, laughter, kindness, power, loyalty, sorrow, understanding and so much more. He saw the eyes of a man who had seem all the world had to offer and still he loved being alive. In that moment, Harry wanted to have that look in his eyes. He wanted to live a life full of being happy and sharing that happiness with others who were glad he was a part of their lives like he was of them, even if that meant he never became the best in the world.

Slytherin Harry shook his head and sighed before he vanished from sight. Gryffindor Harry laughed as he waved good bye to his younger self before he faded away too. Slowking moved to stand in front of Harry.

"Are you ready to return my young friend?" It asked. At Harry's nod the world began to move again.

"GRYFFINDOR!" Slowking roared across the room. As he did, the red table exploded into cheers. Hermione and Neville stood up cheering for their friend as loud as they could, at the same moment a pair of red haired twins with a plusle and Minun on top their heads stood up screaming ' we got Potter' as loud as they could too. Harry walked over to the Gryffindor table and sat across from his friends as the next name was called.

McGonagall was to the final few names when she called for one, "Weasley, Ronald". The redheaded boy practically strutted up to the sorting Pokémon. When he got there Slowking put its hands on the boy's head and its eyes started to glow. Moments passed before Slowking's face changed from calm and content to confusion before finally settling on disappointed. It removed its hands from the Weasley's head and as its eyes stopped glowing, it opened its mouth.

"Gryffindor!' Slowking called but many could tell it was halfhearted at best. The Gryffindors cheered for the boy, but even they sounded confused as they did. Ron had a smug look on his face the whole way to the red table. When he got there, he managed to snag a set next to Harry and immediately tried to talk to him.

"Harry man, we made it into Gryffindor! I knew we'd be Gryffindors, there was never any doubt mate!" The redhead half yelled. Harry looked at the boy like he was insane before glancing at Hermione and Neville. Both newly made Gryffindors had the same looks on their faces. Ron seemed to catch the confusion in Harry's eyes.

"Harry mate, what's wrong? You should be happy, we got into the best house in Hogwarts." The redhead put his hand on the other boy's shoulder as he spoke. That was last straw for Hermione.

"Excuse me? Why are you acting like Harry's your friend? You were just yelling at us before the sorting ceremony started." She asked as she eyed him suspiciously. The boy looked at her with confusion and anger showing clearly on his face.

"What are you talking about, of course Harry's my friend!? I'm his best mate! And I wasn't yelling at him, I was yelling at you for throwing me off the bloody ship. Why'd you do that anyway? Trying to steal my best mate I'll bet." Now Ron was the one eyeing people with suspicion. By this point Harry and the others had had enough of this clearly demented redhead. Harry ducked under the table and came up on the other side between Hermione and Neville. After settling into his new seat Harry glared at the electric type trainer.

"I don't know what you're talking about, but we aren't friends Weasley and you certainly not my best 'mate' or whatever you're on about. Now I'd really like it if you would leave me and my friends alone." Harry said before pointedly turning to talk to his friends. Ron continued to say that he and Harry were friends and tried to get Harry to talk to him. Eventually a tall redhead named Percy came over with a Dedenne on his shoulder and took Ron away, saying something about 'talking to his brother'. The last student was sorted and dinner began.

Dinner came and went without any problems and the students were about to leave the hall when the headmaster stood up. Dumbledore looked around the room briefly, for a second his eyes fell upon Harry and his friends and in that moment confusion shown in his eyes but now one saw it before his eyes left to look over the rest of the hall. Now was not the time to wonder why the youngest Weasley boy wasn't with the Potter boy, he thought. Dumbledore flashed his grandfatherly smile at everyone.

"I know everyone is eager to get to their dorms and turn in for the night, but I have a few things to say before that. First, the Forbidden Zone that surrounds most of the school is just that forbidden. Students should avoid the Zone unless they have permission from a Professor." He said as he mock glared over at the twin redhead Gryffindors that tried and failed to look innocent. Dumbledore smiled slightly as he shook his head before he continued with his speech.

"Second, the third floor corridor is off limits to anyone that doesn't wish to die a painful death. Now I believe that is everything for tonight. First years if you follow your 5th year prefects, they will lead you to your houses. Good night everyone and I bid you a final welcome to Hogwarts to all my first years and a welcome back to all my returning students." With those words all the students started to leave. Harry, Hermione and Neville stood around looking for the Gryffindor head boy/girl when a voice yell out. "Gryffindors, Gryffindors look this way please. Hey did you hear me? I'm a prefect!" the small group looked over to see the tall redhead from before yelling to get everyone's attention. When it became obvious that no one was listening to him, the Dedenne on his shoulder gave a loud speaking roar as a bright flash of light shown from its body. Suddenly everyone was staring at the boy.

"Hmmn, well now that I have your attention. My names Percy Weasley and I'm the Gryffindor 5th year prefect for the boys. Follow me and I will take us to the common room." With that Percy walked off, clearly expecting everyone to follow him, which they did. As they group walked, Percy talked about random facts of the school, but no one really listened to him. Most, because they were to busy marveling at the school to pay attention to him. Others like Hermione already knew what he was talking about, so they was trying to take in as much about the school as they could.

Eventually the group came to a stop in front of a large red door with a clear panel next to it. Percy came to a stop next to the panel and turned to face the group of first years. "This is the entrance to the Gryffindor common room. The panel has a key pad built into it. In order to get into the common room, you need to type in the password and the door will open. If there are a lot of you entering at once make sure to put in the extra code for multiple people otherwise the door will close soon after you go through it and it takes a few minutes before the panel resets and can be used again. The password is Typhloision and the multi people code is Ember, keep in mind that the password changes every few weeks and the new password will be on a sheet of paper next to the door before you walk out it." after speaking Percy typed in both the password and code and the door dropped into the floor. The redhead motioned for everyone to go through the door before he turned and walked in.

Once everyone was through the door, it came back up from the floor to close and lock before everyone heard a low beep sound from the panel next the door on the inside of the room. Harry looked around at the place that would be his home away from home. The room fit everyone easily and a few of the older trainers were relaxing around the room. Everything in the room was colored in shades of red and gold with black thrown in for flare. There was a large unlit fireplace near two stair cases on the back wall of the room. Above the fireplace was a large painting a Pyroar staring out over the room. Every wall had pictures of Fire type Pokémon almost covering them. Chairs and tables were scattered around the room, most with games and papers covering them. All and all the room had a comfortable feel to it.

Percy moved to stand in front of the fireplace before speaking again. "This is the common room. You will spend a lot of time in this room, so please do your best to kept the place clean as we all have to share this space." He gestured to the stair case to his left. "The staircase to my left, your right, leads to the girls' dormitories. Boys don't try to go up there, it will not end well for you if you try." The redhead pointed to the stair case to his right. "The staircase to my right, your left, goes to the boys' dormitories. Now as first years your dorms will be on the first floor, your dorms will be on that floor for the entirety of your stay here at Hogwarts. As 7th years leave the school, the next set of first years get the dorms that they once had. Now breakfast starts at 6:30 am and goes till 8:30 am, at breakfast you will receive your class schedule. Any and all Pokémon you have can walk around with you if you like, but keep in mind that they're behavior is you're responsibly. If your Pokémon misbehaves you will be punished for it. That's all for tonight, I recommend that you get some sleep soon as tomorrow is a big day for you. Good night." No sooner had he finished speaking did Percy leave up the stairs to the boy's dorms. The group looked at each other before they gave a collective shrug and started up to their different dorms. Harry and Neville wished Hermione good night and promised to meet up with her in the morning for breakfast.

Once the boys got to the dorm, they found bed around the room in a half circle. All the beds were four post beds that had long red curtains around them. Harry took one of the beds at the end of the half circle. The moment he sat on the bed Ron tried to take the bed next to his. Try being the operative word as Neville quickly jumped on to the bed seconds before the redhead could get there. Ron scowled at the grass type trainer for a moment before he trudged away to a bed cross the room. The boys changed clothes and started prepping for bed. Basil came out of her poke ball and climbed up to the head of the bed before using her vines to pull Neville down onto the bed and cuddled into his head on the pillows.

Harry climbed into the bed and pulled the curtains around the bed as Angel came out of her poke ball and settled on half the bed. Harry wrapped his arms around her and buried his face in her neck. Angel started a soft growling purr in the back of her throat as she placed her head over his. That last thing Harry thought about before he fell asleep was how he couldn't wait for tomorrow to get here.

Again I is so sorry for the wait guys. Anyway, so we saw what kind of Pokémon other characters got cool right? Hermione's got a clingy Abra named Morpheus and my man Neville's got a cute Chikorita called Basil. As for Ron, well I hate Pikachu and raichu with a passion. So naturally the character I hate the most has one of the Pokémon I hate the most.

I'm thinking Hermione will name all her Pokémon after gods and goddess of every pantheon, just seems like something she would do, you know? My man Neville's gonna go more along the lines of plant names and spices for the names of his Pokémon. No idea how Harry's gonna name his Pokémon, we'll figure it out as we go.

Can anyone guess what type of Pokémon Draco's gonna get? Bonus points to anyone that can name the five shadows from Draco's sorting.

Review if you want, if not it won't hurt my feelings. Your wants and desires for the story just won't happen that's all.
