Dear Diary.
It's quite Odd, Isn't it? Or it's just that the developers of this game were eager to show off the fabric simulation of their game engine.
Bought this game before, It was called "Blueprint" where you control a game character through the use of code. The race of the in-game characters were something called "Humans". And you get to customize every single aspect of your character in-game. Through the use of Code of course. What's odd is, however, that, nomatter how you customize your character, whatever kind of stat values they currently had is always represented in the form of glowing trails of a specific length behind their body. Each different stat variable is represented by one of such trails. It's kinda like how different eukaryotic cells had different numbers of flagella, pulling or pushing the cell across their medium. These trails seems to do the same. They trail behind the motion of the characters. Seemingly propelling them toward their direction of motion nomatter how you program the exact mechanism of movement into them.
Are Humans real? If so, do they have this feature in real life as well as in-game? Which kind of macroscopic lifeforms would still use flagella to move? Or are these "Humans" really the same size as us in real life as well?
Anyway. It's a game. A game where the imagination of the developers were the only established law. If they decide to add flagella to their imaginary "Humans" in the macroscopic scale, or they were actually representing something that are really much, much smaller than what the game appear to represent, it's all imagination. It's of no use to discuss whether that a macroscopic organism can have flagella, nor it's of use to attempt elucidating the actual scale factor of the objects within a game for something in real life.
There were reports on mysterious disappearances happening all across Citadel Space. Reports have claimed that witnesses seeing "fuzzy, vaguely bipedoid objects" moving across the sky, with glowing trails trailing behind near the location of the incidences. Is this really related to the game I have been playing for so long? Or it wasn't a video game after all? I hope not so.
Tomorrow will be my 120th birthday, the day which I would officially become an adult. Will go to the best sushi-store on the citadel and throw a big party for this historical event in my life.
May the goddess bless my next birthday.
Liara T'Soni.
