Hello everybody!
I decided to reboot my Garnet and Topaz series to add more detailing and finally do the entire Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. My older draft, I realized how rough it looked, so this new style should prove better and more! So enjoy the show!
The world of Pokemon...
A vast world that is ever changing and expanding with every generation. From Kanto to Galar, with each and every new trainer rising up to make their dreams come true, the world has become larger and better. Within this world, our story begins in the region of Hoenn where two best friends are beginning their journey together.
Let's begin the tale of Garnet and Topaz~!
Episode 1: Onwards To A New Adventure!
The sun rose high over the mountains of the Hoenn Region, its fingers touching the rooftops of each and every house. In one of the house of Littleroot Town, there was the sleeping figure of a young girl. Her short red hair was rough and choppy due to her wanting to style her own hair, her snores filling the air. Suddenly, the door was opened to reveal a small little Pichu with spiked ears. He sniffed the air before scurrying over towards the girl's bed, hopping on her stomach. He nuzzled her cheek, setting off little sparks that made her open her green eyes.
"Morning bud, how's it going?" She said groggily, petting the Pichu as she slips into an upwards position. "What are you doing up here so early?"
The Pichu jumped off her bed before dragging a calendar over. Garnet rubbed her eyes before looking down at the calendar.
"Today's the day, isn't it?" She said happily, leaping out the bed. "I'm going to become a pokémon master and defeat the Elite Four!" Pumping her fist, she opened the window to take in the morning air. Pichu goes on her shoulder and stretches his arms. "Excited for an adventure, I see? Wait till me meet our other buddy when we go to Professor Birch!"
Pichu nodded, going on the bed and covering his eyes to allow her to get dressed. Garnet slipped on a white shirt and red vest and black shorts and shoes. Combing her wild hair to the best she could, she slapped on her trust red pokéball bandanna. Snapping her finger, Pichu opened his eyes and gave a happy squeak of approval at her new outfit.
"You like? Mom said it was calling my name when she saw it at the store." Picking up a red backpack by her television, she opened it up to allow Pichu inside. "Now let's head off to the Professor's place! Topaz said she meet us there!"
"GARNET! COME DOWNSTAIRS FOR BREAKFAST! DO NOT LEAVE THIS HOUSE WITHOUT A BITE TO EAT!" Her mother called from the kitchen, shaking her head at her daughter's antics.
Garnet heard her stomach grumbled before blushing slightly. "But first...breakfast."
Topaz was enjoying a blissful dream. She stood on stage accepting the trophy that signified her winning the Hoenn cup. She grinned to the audience and waved her hand.
Suddenly, it started to rain. Rain? Now that can't be right? She felt herself drowning in the water that the rain had created. No the water is getting higher. I can't breathe…
"TOPAZ I SAID GET UP! YOU'RE GOING TO BE LATE TO SEE YOUR NEW POKEMON!"
Topaz woke up and head-butted her younger brother, Citrine. Her long blonde hair hung over her face as she held her forehead in agony. "Ugh Citrine I was having a good dream till you barged in!" Topaz screamed, eyeing the orange haired boy who also held his head in pain.
Citrine pouted and stuck out his tongue. "You slept through breakfast and you're going to be late to meet Professor Birch this afternoon."
"Wait what! I overslept again?! Why does this keep happening to me?" She screeched, pushing him out of her room. "Out! I need to get dressed!"
Hastily, she put on her yellow shirt and skirt, smoothing out the wrinkles. Pulling up her long white socks, she nearly fell over putting on her brown shoes. Going to her vanity, she fixed her hair up, letting it lose in the back. For the finishing touch, she put in her headband with one last look over herself, she grabbed her yellow backpack and raced down the stairs.
In the dining room, her father sipped his fresh cup of coffee while Citrine ate his breakfast reading comic books. The sight of Topaz running past them made her father look up with a small smile.
"Why didn't any of you wake me up earlier?" Topaz asked, reaching the door.
"I tried to but you're so hard to get up." He replied, taking another sip of his coffee.
Topaz rolled her eyes at her father's nonchalant attitude."Whatever see you later! Bye Dad, going to Professor Birch now!" She yelled on the way out the door.
"Aren't you going to eat breakfast?" Her dad asked, gesturing towards the small plate of food he prepared for her. Since her mother was gone a lot, her father had to take care of the kids, cook, clean, and make sure they lived a good life.
Her stomach growled super loudly, blushing lightly. "Maybe a quick bite to eat won't be so bad." She said, making a piece of buttered toast and stuffing it into her mouth. Nearly choking on the piece, she swallowed a cup of tea that Citrine handed her. "Okay, now I think I'm ready to leave now!"
"Aren't you forgetting something else?" Her father, holding up a Friend Ball in his hand.
"Oh yeah I almost forgot Puffy!" Puffy was the nickname for her Jigglypuff that she had since she was a child. Back when her mother, bless her heart, traveled to Johto she had hatched an Igglybuff for her newborn daughter. Since then, she and Puffy had grown up together under the watchful eye of her father. The two were inseperable, promising to travel Hoenn together.
Topaz smiled down at the ball and strapped it on her waist. It was time for her to begin her first adventure.
Two heroes started off their journey at the same time. Two heroes will enter the world of pokémon. Garnet and Topaz, two inspiring pokémon trainers from New Bark Town will begin their adventure.
"Wonder when Garnet and Topaz will get here?" Professor Birch wondered aloud. He polished the new pokéballs that would be handed to the new trainers. "I'm pretty sure they didn't get the time wrong. Torchic, Mudkip, and Treecko are ready for their new adventure, but they need to get here first."
The pokéballs started to shake hearing the names of the trainer's names. Professor Birch chuckled as he went back to his work. "So these are the new files for the Mega Evolutions. Interesting, the new starters can Mega Evolve in this region. I will have to inform those two about finding their stones."
Watching the work from outside were two figures sitting on a tree branch. One was a female with pink hair in two swirly ponytails, sparkly blue eyes, and pale skin. The other was a male with raven black hair that spiked upwards, deep blue eyes, and tan skin. Both wore uniforms that were black with white boots and gloves and a big red "R" on their chest.
"Did you hear that? New Mega Evolutions for this region! That's just so cool!" The female said, grinning widely.
"I heard it, you idiot! We've got to get our hands on that file. Won't the boss be happy if we did?" The male said, lowering his binoculars.
"He'll probably give us a raise! You're so smart Billy!" The pink haired girl giggled.
"I know it's almost scary how smart I am sometimes, Kidd." The raven haired boy replied.
They stood up from their hiding place and walked to the window. This would be a big step in their progression into Team Rocket. Ever since their failed operations in Kanto and Johto, the organization had been humiliated for the last time. So Giovanni sent the dubious duo to Hoenn to prove their worth and to see how well his rookies could do in a new environment.
"Let's go claim those files in the name of Team Rocket!" Kidd yelled.
"Quiet or he'll hear us." Billy shushed her.
"Oh sorry Billy!" The girl apologized, waving her hands.
The world of Pokémon just got interesting. And it's only just the beginning!
