A/N So this is your normal story. They will look a bit different from canon ofc. There won't be any 11-year-old confessions of love. I'll try and get a chapter of at least 1 or 2k words each week if I don't please spam me. I've probably forgotten if I don't post or I have writer's block. I also don't have a beta so sorry if there are some inconsistencies. Also, I have no idea how to right a non-Binary character so suggestions are wanted, I don't have any qualifications to write this but I love my Enbies 3

Chapter 1: Twins

"Lily, James, you are expecting twins I believe?" Dumbledore asked.

"Yes, headmaster! Two boys!" James said proudly, "I'm bloody excited to teach the next generation of marauders!"

"Well James, my boy, you'd never guess but Trelawny came into my office a week ago and prophesied something, I think your children might be subject to it," Dumbledore said sagely.

"That fraud?" Lily proclaimed in distaste, "She couldn't foresee anything if her life depended on it!"

"Now Lily, don't be so quick to judge, " he said rebuking her, " I've seen many prophecies in my life and I believe it to be real."

"What is the prophecy?" Asked James curious.

"Well, James, it went like this, " Dumbledore answered, "The one to conquer the Dark Lord approaches… born on his seventh month living, born with abundant legacy, hidden from watching eyes... and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have the power they know not… his enemies shall fall at his knees, he shall change the path of the world... the one with the power to conquer the Dark Lord approaches, not shall he perish until who shall wrong him be executed."

"What do you mean Dumbledore?" Whispered lily, "one of my children will have to defeat the dark lord!"

"Lily calm down!" Said James, "This is brilliant Lily, our kids will be famous and they can't die, you heard the prophecy!"

"That does not make it okay!" Yelled lily, "They are only children, James, our children, we can't make them fight a Dark Lord!"

"I'm sorry lily, but nothing can be done," Dumbledore said in sadness.

"I must accept it, right?" Lily said bitterly, "That I will lose a child to be a warrior."

"Lily I believe the prophecy to refer to the firstborn of your sons, " Dumbledore said, "the line 'born with abundant legacy' I think means heirship to the Potter family, so you will have your youngest to yourself, I do think we should train your eldest son early."

"That seems like a bloody good plan!" James said enthusiastically, "and lighten up Lily, our son is going to be a hero!" Lily just muttered her annoyance.

. . . July 31, 1980, at St. Mungos . . .

At 7 months pregnancy lily went into labor. James rushed her to St. Mungos. After 5 hours of pushing, she finally finished. Lily smiled at her new sons cradled in her arms. Born at 11:54 and 12:12. Her firstborn looked exactly like his father with scruffy straight light brown hair and a square face. Her second-born looked more like her but had soft curly deep black hair that looked like it shined a dark blue in the light and a heart-shaped face like hers.

"What are we going to name them?" Asked Lily in a soft voice.

"Well, I think our firstborn should be named Charles after my father and his middle name James after me." Stated James.

"That's a good name, " Lily nodded, "I want to name the little one Hadrian and his middle name Corvus."

"Heir of the most ancient and most noble house of Potter, Charles James Potter, and Hadrian Corvus Potter, my brilliant sons." He smiled at them.

Lily smiled and drifted off to sleep after that tiring day.

Dumbledore walked into the room quickly, "I'm sorry to intrude on this happy moment, James, but I have some dreadful news, " he spoke urgently, "it seems a death eater was listening in on my meeting with Professor Trelawny and the Dark Lord has been informed of part of the prophecy, not all of it mind you but enough to want to attack your children the minute he hears of their birth, so I must insist on you going into hiding."

James stood up from the chair he was sitting on, "What! where shall we go to headmaster?" He said frantically, "what protections should we use!"

"Calm down James, it is just a slight mishap." Dumbledore said, "you shall go and hide under the fidelius charm in Godric's Hollow." James nodded.

. . .October 31, 1981, at Godric's Hollow. . .

James turned hearing harsh laughter and steps coming towards him and his wife, "Lily, take the twins and go! It's him! Go! Run! I'll hold him off!"

Lily nodded sadly and went to the twin's room where they both lay in their cot. Lily hears a crash and the sounds of someone stumbling from the other room.

The door burst open and she saw him, he let out a cackle of high-pitched laughter.

Lily scrunched up her brow begging him, "Not Charles, not Hadrian, you already took my husband, so please not them!"

Voldemort smiled cruelly, "Stand aside you silly girl … stand aside now and you will be spared like your coward of a husband was."

Lily stood in front of the crib, "Not the twins, please no, take me, kill me instead! Just not them! Please … have mercy … have mercy! "

He let out a shrill laugh and pointed his wand at her "you don't deserve a painless death mudblood, " he sneered "mortem aeternam" a flash of grey light his her chest and she crumpled to the ground.

He turned to the twins, Charles sobbing and rubbing his already red eyes, crying for his mommy. Harry looked up at him and smiled, "shiny." He exclaimed. Voldemort sneered at him, "At least you aren't a whimpering mess like your brother. You would have made a good warrior on my side, " Voldemort smiled, "Avada kadavra!"

. . . Time Skip . . .

"It seems we were correct James if you look here on Charles's cheek you can see the mark the prophecy spoke of," Dumbledore said as he pointed out three horizontal line cuts on Charles's cheek.

If he had only looked at little Hadrian's right shoulder blade he would have seen the black ouroboros tattoo.

"What should we do now that Charles got rid of the dark lord? Doesn't that mean the prophecy is rubbish?" James asked.

"I don't believe so, " Dumbledore responded, " I speculate that the Dark Lord will return."

"Well then I reckon we better train him still, " James smiled sadly at Charles, "Now that lily is gone I think I should go find some more pictures of her." Dumbledore nodded.

. . . May 5, 1987, Potter Manor . . .

Harry looked around his small room closing the book in his hands. He had asked for a room near the library and this is what he got, a small room that nearly didn't fit a twin bed. Harry didn't hate it but knowing there were much bigger and closer rooms made him bitter.

Harry knew James never liked him, he had always liked Charles more, giving him all the things in the world. He was treated this way for no reason except that he was the 'Boy-Who-lived'. At least he had books to keep him company.

Despite him being superior to his father Charles was not. He couldn't even read yet. He had started training a year ago with Dumbledore but had yet to even do his first spell, while Harry had stolen his brothers wand a few times and could cast the whole book! His brother often called him a squib and useless but it was obvious to Harry who really was the useless one. Harry had done many things that Charles couldn't do. While Charles was scared of heights, he had already perfected the Wronski feint and many other Quidditch moves. Honestly, Harry was glad Charles hated flying or else he wouldn't have gotten his Nimbus 500 broom.

Harry set his book down on his bed, it was a book about runes. All the books Harry had gone through had helped him do things. He often used the locking rune he put on his door, they couldn't be unlocked by charms. He had the house-elves, his only friends, get him supplies. You would never know how useful they are at sorting and finding books.

Last year when Harry had snuck a peek at the marauder's map he knew he had to get one. So he asked the elves to help him make one. It had been finished a few months ago. It was called Inanis Corvus or The Void Crow. They built it into a watch for easy access and because paper doesn't hold magic very well. You had to turn the crown 7 clicks and say the password, which was 'Sol Noctis', and then a 3d map that scans a bigger area than Hogwarts and shows every person, it used a lot of secret elf magic. He looked down at its black leather and its silver accents with a blue ouroboros carving behind the glass. He smiled.

Harry jumped off his bed heading down to breakfast, James and Charles usually slept in later so he had gotten into the habit of waking up early and reading a bit before breakfast.

He reached the dining hall and groaned it looked like James and Charles would be doing something today. They sat in their chairs talking and laughing while stuffing their faces with unhealthy food. Charles had short wild hair like his father, though it was a shade lighter. His eyes were the same creamy brown like his father but didn't look that good on him as you couldn't quite tell what his facial features were because he was quite fat. Harry thought he looked quite good compared to him with his jaw-length curly jet black hair, heart-shaped face, stunning emerald green eyes, a lean body, and a tall height.

James looked over and spotted him, "Ah, Hadrian, are you going to… join us?" He asked in distaste. Harry nodded. James sneered but ignored him.

Harry filled up some small servings on his plate and quickly ate them. James and Charles quickly finished theirs.

"We are going to Diagon Alley today, do you wish to come?" Asked James coldly, Harry's eyes lit up and he nodded. "We will be going to Gringotts first, I think it's time you have your trust vault key, don't lose it, it's quite painful to make another," James said.

Charles sneered at him, "Daddy! Why does he have to come!" He whined.

James looked at him, "Heirs don't whine and he is your brother, even if you don't like him." Charles groaned.

They soon flooed to the leaky cauldron and James looked at him, "Hadrian your key, " he handed him his key, "don't go spending all your money, and go get a gold card for yourself so you won't have to carry around a bag of gold." Harry nodded and took the key from James before running off.

Harry went straight to Gringotts and stood in line for a teller.

When he got to the front of the line the goblin looked down at him and said, "What can I do for you?" Asked the annoyed goblin.

Harry held up his key, "I want to withdraw from my vault, get a Gold Card k-keyed to me as well as other s-services!" Harry said nervously. The goblin grabbed the key.

"I see, I shall set up a meeting with Silverjaw, just wait a moment." He said still grumpy.

Harry was soon in a big chamber with another goblin, "so I hear you wish to set up a Gold Card and other services?" Harry confirmed. "What are the other services you wish for?" Harry looked sheepish. The goblin sighed, "I take it you are not aware of these services?" Harry shook his head.

"Well, Mr. Potter, we offer an inheritance test, as often dead family lines are very picky with who they choose, we also offer an ability test, which we use to determine creature inheritance, unawakened abilities and innate proficiency in magical subjects, " he explained and Harry nodded, "We also offer a ritual to awaken those abilities. As well as rituals to strengthen minds and awaken cores early- so they developer bigger- and we offer rune tattoos." Harry nodded frantically, "we do many other things as well," The goblin said.

Harry looked at the goblin, "I-I've looked at books with rituals and stuff but none of 'em had anything like that?" Harry said shyly.

The goblin nodded, "We don't advertise our services and even if we did the wizards wouldn't let us touch them. We only tell those who ask" Stated Silverjaw.

"Can I get the inheritance and ability test, as well as the rituals?" Asked Harry, "and tell me more a-about the tattoos?"

"The tattoos let you have permanent runes on your body that only need charging up to use, " said Silverjaw, "and which rituals exactly do you want?"

"Well, Silverjaw, I would like all the rituals that will benefit me and I can afford." Said a smiling harry, "and some tattoos!"

The goblin grinned, "I think this will be a good partnership, Mr. Potter." Harry smiled back.

Harry was led into a big chamber after a long cart ride. He looks d around and gasped, the walls were made of shimmering quarts and had gold, silver and emerald linings. "I see you like the ritual chamber," smiled the goblin, "We will be doing your tests here as it will save time." Harry nodded. As he was guided towards a black steel table.

Silverjaw opened an ornate box that held a black dagger with rubies in it, he handed it to harry, "Cut your hand and let your blood spill into this bottle." Harry held the knife and his palm over the glass bottle. He quickly sliced his hand open. His blood poured into the bottle until it was half full and Silverjaw healed his hand.

He pulled out two pieces of paper and a shiny silver quill. He dipped the quill in his blood and magic took of the quill as it started to write.

"Well!" Exclaimed the goblin, "that's not something you see every day." Harry nodded dumbly, "You can't accept lordship until age 11 but when you do the wizards will be in one hell of a shock." The goblin dipped the quill in his blood once more writing on the second piece of paper.

Harry gaped at the paper, "But wha-" he sputtered.

The goblin laughed, "All magical families have some creatures blood in them but they deny it. Though you have a lot more of it then I expected!" Harry nodded still in shock. "Now we should activate your blood!" The goblin said enthusiastically.

Harry found himself by a bowl-shaped dip in the floor, "Go into the ritual bowl and I will get my fellow goblins for the ritual." Harry nodded and did as he was instructed.

He sat in the bowl for about 10 minutes before Silverjaw and some other goblins came to the bowl, "Now, Mr. Potter, we are going to be chanting in Latin, this ritual will hurt and you will probably be passed out for the rest of the day but if you want we can continue to perform rituals on you while you rest, this will save time and lessen the pain, do you agree?" Harry nodded, "Excellent, go lay on your back in the middle of the bowl."

The goblins surround him as he laid down as they suddenly began to chant, "conversus autem verum existens, corpore aliquid internum, ostensum est, quod ingenium occultantur, confractus vincula, libera animam meam volant et quasi corvus." Harry's body burned it felt as if he was dying but he couldn't scream as they continued, "beluae ostendere manifesta cognitione ostende magum possit ostendere quod maximum est, sanguinem ulcus lacrimas aqua pabulum mutatio fiat." His vision went black as the pain only got worse.

. . . Time Skip . . .

Harry woke up in a soft bed, his arms and legs felt heavy and sore. He sat up slowly. The first thing he noticed was his ridiculously long hair, it was down to the floor and a deep blue. Harry stood up on wobbly legs, holding the wall to support him. Harry looked at his body, his skin seemed softer and there were faint black markings on his skin. They must be the rune tattoos, though they seemed a bit faint.

A goblin he didn't know walked into the room from a wooden door. The goblin looked up at him, "Silverjaw wants to see you." It said gruffly. Harry nodded and followed the goblin out the door. Soon they were back in Silverjaws office.

"How does your free body feel? I'd say it was quite a task to get those suppressers off." Harry nodded at the goblin.

"I feel k-kinda weak but other than that I feel fine." He answered, "I do have questions though."

Silverjaw nodded, "I'd guessed so, " He gave Harry a feral grin, "Ask away little Creature."

Harry smiled slightly, "Um. Well, are the marks on my skin tattoos? And my innate abilities, how will those work? And what about my creature side?" He asked frantically. Silverjaw just laughed.

"Well, young one. Yes, your markings are the tattoos, the color will come in a few days and if you touch the small one that looks like a bat on your shoulder they will go invisible." Harry nodded and silver jaw continued, "Your innate abilities will just come to you but the process will be sped up if you research the subject. And to answer your last question, while we have unbound your creature inheritance most of the abilities you get from them will unlock at age 15, you will get certain traits before then such as enhances senses, changes in looks and learning their language without studying it." Harry nodded slowly.

"Um… One more question? Why are you helping me?" He asked sheepishly

The goblin grinned, "You have potential and id like to see you as an ally, not an enemy when you turn on the world." Harry looked at him bewildered, "You'll see when you're older." At that, harry just nodded.

"Well, goodbye Mr. Silverjaw!" Harry waved as he made his way out of the bank almost tripping on his own hair.

. . . . .

Harry made his way to madam malkins without getting his hair stepped on somehow. He caught some hair ties and some clothes as well— it turned out that the ritual had made him taller so he needed new clothes— before he continued shopping.

He headed to the trunk shop, Truck's Specialty Trunks next. His father had never bothered to get him one and he had read up on trunks that were as big as houses and he wanted one.

He entered the store and strolled up to the front counter, "Hello, I would like to buy a specialty trunk please!" The lady at the deal smiled at him.

"Specialty trunks are expensive, do you have your mommy or daddy with you?" She said sweetly.

He shook his head and answered, "No but I have enough money." He said as he placed his gold card on the table, the lady's eyes widened before she nodded.

"We have all assortments of Dragonhide and leather for the outside and various options for the inside, all of which are listed on this brochure." She said as she handed it to him.

Harry looked over it and said, " I'll get sweetish short snout hide and ebony wood for the exterior. 7 compartments, one that is an expanded closet, five that are apartment sized one with a bathroom and bedroom, one with a potions plan and kitchen next to each other, one that is a greenhouse and the rest unfilled libraries. I want you to make the last one as big as you can and make it seem like a meadow full of flowers. I want all but the first hidden." The woman nodded as she wrote his request down.

"That will be 5,000 Galleons." He handed her his card, "it will be ready for pick up in around 5 to 7 business days." He nodded and left the shop.

Harry really didn't feel like going home. He sighed and booked a room at the leaky cauldron. He really didn't want to be in England at all really, he just laughed at himself. Wouldn't it be better to run away? He nodded to himself. He wouldn't have to deal with Charles 'I'm so great' Potter anymore. He also knew those with creature blood would be frowned apon in England. So he really thought he would be best somewhere else. And it wasn't like anyone would miss him anyway. He smiled to himself, this was a good idea. He would just have to plan.

. . . 5 to 7 business days later . . .

After staying in the leaky cauldron until his trunk was done, he had formulated a plan. He would go to France, it was one of the most accepting wizarding countries and wasn't far enough that he wouldn't be able to get there. Harry didn't know what he was going to do there but he would figure it out when he got there.

Harry had also figured out how to use his Metamorphagi abilities though he wasn't very talented yet. He had taken on a new look. He was Shorter and cuvier with tan skin, fluffy ear-length caramel hair, a freckled round nose and soft round lips, sharp wild teeth, small horns, pointy ears, and curious orange eyes. No one would recognize him anymore. He was too orange and feminine to be Hadrian Potter. That boy never existed! This wasn't him in the mirror… no. This was Nyx. Yeah, that feels right. That's who he was.
