Nikolas Yiannis Cassadine was the father of Eugenius. Born in 1861, he worked so hard at fishing that he never realised he overfished a sea! A seafarer, his parents truly hated him because of his ugliness and they abandoned him on a mountain as a teen.
After Anya divorced Niki, she met him and fell in love with him later. They married in 1891, leading to only child Eugenius' birth in 1895. During that time, they quarrelled and even squabbled for money's sake!
He became an unlucky parent as a result, seeing his son becoming a beggar and later a burglar throughout the teens and young adulthood. Ironically, the marriage of Eugenius and Aramis Bulent was his happiest moment in life.
He died at 78 in 1939.
