Eugenius was born in 1895 in Athens. His parents were Anya Shostakovich Cassadine and Nikolas Yannis Cassadine. He was half brother to Linda Hagen.
He fished like his father, and when his family ran out of money, he stole rivals' fishes. An unlucky man, Aramis Bulent even considered to abandon him before their eventful marriage in 1925.
Their life somehow got easier with the birth of Helena Cassadine. As Helena grew older, World war 2 began and ended in a bang. As Athens got more polluted, Helena left them for the private Voynavitch island as a teenager along with Tony, Mikkos and Vic.
As he got older, he suffered prostate cancer and then died in 1967.
