Treasures Of The Line
Chapter 4
" Where is Hancock?! My patience is not to be tested! " Admiral Sakazuki stepped off the gangplank of his ship and looked around at the Kuja Pirates that had gathered around the area. After a few moments, Hancock and Sylvia walked through the group as Hancock spoke softly.
" So... Lovely to see you again Sakazuki. I heard you recently led a buster call against Ohara Island. " Hancock spoke in a tone of voice filled with disdain as Sakazuki looked her up and down before turning his head toward Sylvia.
" That island was full of evil and injustice. I corrected it. Who's the brat? " Sakazuki sneered slightly as Sylvia glared at him.
" This brat will put you six feet under if you don't mind your manners punk. " Sylvia spoke sternly as Sakazuki's gaze narrowed at her and a slight smile curved at the corners of his mouth.
" Hmph. You are welcome to try brat. Now then... Have you considered the World Government's offer Hancock? " Admiral Sakazuki spoke sternly as Hancock whipped her hair out of her face.
" I have. And I have decided... To tell your precious World Government that the Kuja Pirates are not lapdogs. We will not bend to their will and will not be controlled. You fools labelled us Pirates, Now we will show just how capable we are of being such. Now get off my island. " Hancock stood defiantly as Sakazuki's skin started glowing.
" Have it your way.. Ki.. " Sakazuki froze as Sylvia stepped forward and her body changed. As Sakazuki looked toward her, He felt a sharp point press against his throat lightly.
" Choose your words and your actions carefully. I will not give second chances. " Sylvia spoke sternly as Shika twisted around her and reared up, Inches away from Sakazuki's face before hissing violently as Sakazuki spoke.
" You... Where did you get that power?! The World Government searched the entire world for it! The Devil Fruits Bane belongs to us! " Sakazuki motioned to seize Sylvia's arm but froze as Shika lunged forward and sank her fangs into his neck." Imp... Impossible... I.. I am a Logia Type... "
" As am I. Shika nullifies all powers and curses. You are nothing against us. Now as my mother said... " Sylvia seized Sakazuki's coat as his eyes fluttered slightly. " Get off our island and never come back. Your World Government is not welcome here. "
" You... You will pay for this brat! " Sakazuki pushed away from Sylvia and teetered back up the gangplank of his ship before falling onto the deck, Unconscious. As the Marines watched him carefully, They looked toward Sylvia with fear as she stepped forward.
" I'll give you ten seconds. " Sylvia glared toward the Marines as a gust of wind blew through her hair, Making her pink crystal dreadlocks clink softly as they waved in the breeze before falling still again.
As the Marines ran back onto the ship and steered it away, Sylvia shouted loudly. " TEN! " Sylvia slammed her fists into the ground, Causing a wave of crystal formations to rush toward the marine ships. As Sakazuki's ship turned away from the island, The two other Marines ships shattered and broke apart as crystals speared them. As the Marines watched, The crystal formations reduced the other two ships to little more than shards of wood as the ocean waves slowly turned red amidst the cries of agony and pain. As the air fell quiet and the waves washed the wreckage and carnage of Sylvia's attack to the shore, Sylvia's voice rang out as the remaining Marine ship sailed away from the island. " The next time your World Government or Marines comes here I will annihilate every last one of you. "
As the ship disappeared over the horizon, Sylvia stepped toward the ocean water. As it appeared she was going to step in, A small platform of crystal appeared beneath her foot and she walked calmly as each step created another small platform. Once she was far enough away from the island, Sylvia focused intensely as her entire body began glowing with a blinding pink light. As Sylvia raised her arms, The ground trembled and the ocean swirled roughly before a massive wall of crystal rose up out of the ocean before slowly expanding. As it encircled the island, Sylvia sighed softly before falling backwards as her body returned to normal. The last thing Sylvia saw was the sunlight shining through the ocean waves above her as her vision darkened.
One Month Later
Sylvia awoke slowly and groaned softly as her muscles ached and her senses tingled. As she tenderly got out of bed and walked toward the door of her room, Shika slithered over and worked her way up Sylvia's body, Wrapping herself around Sylvia gently before nuzzling her cheek affectionately.
As Sylvia motioned to leave her room, She noticed that she was only wearing underwear and quickly shut the door before walking to her cupboard and waited a moment as Shika slithered onto the top of the cupboard before Sylvia opened it and took out her usual outfit. Once she was dressed, Sylvia closed the cupboard and held her arm out to Shika so she could slither back around her body. After Shika had re-positioned herself around Sylvia's body, Sylvia walked down the staircase and toward the door. As she opened the door, Sylvia noticed an array of flowers and bowls with gifts in them laid out at the sides of the entryway. Before she could say anything, Sylvia heard Ajiya's soft voice and looked up to see Ajiya standing at the gate of the palace entryway with tears in her eyes and a look of joy and relief on her face as she rushed forward. As Ajiya ran forward, Shika untangled herself from Sylvia's body and slithered away slowly as Ajiya tackled Sylvia.
" You are awake! I was so worried... So scared that you wouldn't wake up. " Ajiya smiled brightly before seizing the collar of Sylvia's coat and pulling her forward as she pressed a passionate kiss to Sylvia's lips. After a few moments, Ajiya broke the kiss and moved back slightly as Sylvia sat up and smiled.
" Surely I haven't been asleep for long enough to make you worried. The Marines were only here yesterday right? " Sylvia smiled but as Ajiya looked down sadly, Sylvia's smile faded. " Ajiya... How long was I asleep... "
" A whole month. We were worried you wouldn't wake up at all. You overdid it when you made the wall. Captain says you used to much power and your curse overwhelmed you. You fell into the ocean. Shika dragged you back to shore but you wouldn't wake up. " Ajiya bit her lip as tears rolled down her cheeks and she threw her arms around Sylvia before nuzzling her neck lovingly. " I was so scared that I would lose you... "
" You will never lose me Ajiya. I promise. " Sylvia smiled and held Ajiya lovingly as a passing villager looked toward Sylvia before running toward the arena. After several minutes, Hancock, Sandersonia and Marigold ran toward the palace and stopped at the gate with looks of relief on their faces as Sylvia stood and looked toward them.
" Sylvia! " Hancock smiled brightly and ran forward as Sylvia looked toward her and ran toward her quickly. As Sylvia tackled Hancock and held her lovingly, Sandersonia and Marigold ran over to them and put their arms around them gently. " I am so glad you are alright sweetheart. "
" Seriously, You had us worried. That was some scary power you used. " Marigold spoke softly and kissed Sylvia's head gently as Marigold spoke.
" No kidding, That wall is serious. The Marines tried to break through it a couple of times while you were sleeping but even the Admirals couldn't so much as scratch it. " Marigold turned and looked toward the ocean where a massive pink wall of crystal towered over the island. " That being said we haven't been able to leave either so we figured the only option was to wait for you to wake up so we could ask how to get through it. "
" I guess I will have to open the way when we want to leave. " Sylvia smiled cheekily as Hancock petted her head gently.
" I am so proud of you sweetheart. You stood up to a Marine Admiral with no fear or hesitation. The strength you showed was more than anything I could have hoped for you to achieve. " Hancock smiled brightly as Sylvia nuzzled against her affectionately. After a moment, Hancock let Sylvia go as she sighed softly.
" My power feels... Different now. Stronger... " Sylvia sighed as the tingling sensation of her powers rippled across her body as she changed into her crystal form. " So much stronger... " As Sylvia held her hands out, The crystal along her skin seemed to vibrate before she stretched slowly. As she stretched, The ground beneath her feet slowly crystallised in a perfect circle around her. As Hancock, Sandersonia and Marigold watched in awe, Sylvia pulled Ajiya close and ran her hand through her hair, Leaving behind a small crystal flower nestled against the top of her ear. As Sylvia leant forward and pressed her lips against Ajiya's, A ripple of electrifying energy flowed through Ajiya's body, Making her whimper softly.
As Sylvia stepped back, Ajiya ran her fingers over her lips as the sensation once again rippled through her body, Making her tremble slightly before falling to her knees. " I... I have never felt anything like that... " Ajiya fell silent as Sylvia leant forward and kissed her again deeply before standing straight as a second but slightly louder whimper escaped Ajiya's lips.
" Get used to it. I have plenty more kisses where that came from. " Sylvia smiled as she caressed Ajiya's cheek before walking toward the arena happily as Ajiya blushed brightly and trembled slightly as a third whimper escaped her lips before Lolly walked over and giggled softly.
" Having never seen you like this Ajiya, It makes me wonder... " Lolly smirked playfully as Ajiya glanced toward her. " Makes me wonder what her kisses are like to experience. " Lolly poked her tongue out playfully as Ajiya glared toward her before running off giggling happily.
After a few moments, Ajiya regained her composure and walked toward the hot springs, Blushing brightly and biting her lip as she went.
A Few Hours Later
Sylvia had spent a few hours training in the arena and was lounging on the edge of the arena as Lolly walked in. " Having fun over there Sylvia? "
As Sylvia replied, Lolly giggled playfully. " Yes. It's nice to just relax every so often. "
" Yeah it is. Say... I've been wondering... " Lolly blushed lightly as she fidgeted with the hem of the skirt she was wearing as Sylvia sat up and giggled softly.
" Your wondering what my kisses are like after seeing Ajiya react the way she did. Yeah, I noticed. " Sylvia giggled softly as Lolly blushed brightly. " But Lolly... I can't kiss you. I love Ajiya... It wouldn't feel right. "
" I know... Which is why I haven't asked you to... Yet. " Lolly poked her tongue out before sitting beside Sylvia and looking down into the moat. " I just... "
" I know Lolly. But I just can't. It would feel like I was betraying Ajiya. I can never do that to her. Even thinking about it makes me feel uneasy. " Sylvia spoke softly.
" And what if Ajiya told you to do it? " Lolly looked at Sylvia but turned away as Sylvia looked toward her. " Forget I said that... "
" Lolly... I honestly can't answer that... You will have to talk to Ajiya. I can't betray her Lolly. I just can't. " Sylvia stood and walked out of the arena with a concerned look on her face as Lolly sighed heavily and looked up at the sky as tears welled up in her eyes and she whispered softly.
" I wish someone loved me like that... " Lolly sighed sadly before laying back and staring into the sky. After a while, Lolly left the arena and walked to the hot springs.
As she got undressed, Lolly saw Ajiya relaxing in the water. After stepping into the water, Lolly spoke softly. " Ajiya... I... "
" I know what you are going to ask Lolly. You want me to let you kiss Sylvia once so you know what it feels like. " Ajiya sat up straight as Lolly blushed brightly and nodded.
As Ajiya sighed softly, Lolly spoke slowly. " I know I am being selfish... But... "
" It's okay Lolly. " Ajiya smiled as Sylvia's voice made Lolly jump slightly.
" It really is okay Lolly. I don't mind that you want to kiss me... I just don't want to betray Ajiya. " Sylvia smiled as Ajiya giggled softly.
" Not that I would feel betrayed if she did kiss you Lolly. You are my best friend and it's not like I own Sylvia. We aren't exactly in a relationship either... Yet. " Ajiya smiled as Sylvia sat down beside her.
" But you two are in love... Wouldn't it be wrong? " Lolly looked at Sylvia as she giggled.
" I actually didn't realise this had rules. " Sylvia giggled cheekily as Ajiya nudged her. " What? Seriously I have no idea what I'm supposing to be doing with this whole love thing. I didn't exactly have any instruction. "
" True... But I haven't been told any rules either. Should we ask someone or just... I don't know... Make our own rules? " Ajiya looked toward Sylvia before looking toward Lolly as she blushed brightly.
" To be honest... I... I would prefer making... Our own rules... " Lolly spoke nervously and bit her lip as her cheeks flushed red. As Sylvia was about to speak, Hancock's voice made the three of them jump.
" Personally I think love should be freely expressed by the people that feel it in ways that suit them. But that might just be me. " Hancock smiled mischievously before walking away quietly. As she walked away, Hancock glanced over her shoulder at Sylvia as she spoke. " We are all free to decide for ourselves what to do and who to be with. " A small smile played at the corner of Hancock's lips as Sylvia smiled brightly.
" I... Can't argue with that... Sylvia? " Ajiya turned to Sylvia as she smiled.
" I think mother has a point. We are all free to express ourselves however we decide to. What do you think Ajiya? " Sylvia smirked playfully as Ajiya smirked and flicked her head toward Lolly. As Sylvia stood up and waded through the water toward Lolly, Her body shifted into her crystal form. As Sylvia put her arms around Lolly, Lolly looked up at her nervously.
" Sylvia... What are you... " Lolly fell silent as Sylvia pressed her lips against Lolly's gently. As a wave of energy electrified Lolly's senses, She whimpered cutely against Sylvia's lips. As Sylvia broke the kiss and moved back to sit next to Ajiya again, Lolly let out a loud sigh and fell to her knees as her cheeks flushed red. " W... Wow... "
" Aren't her kisses the most amazing thing you have ever felt? " Ajiya smiled brightly as Sylvia kissed her gently, Forcing the same reaction out of Ajiya as Lolly before Lolly whimpered and spoke softly.
" That was... I don't even... " Lolly whimpered again before speaking shakily. " I don't even know what to say... It was beyond anything I have ever felt before... " Lolly sighed happily before moving over and sitting next to Sylvia as Ajiya spoke.
" Just... Breathtaking. " Ajiya sighed happily as she leant her head against Sylvia's shoulder.
" Yeah... " Lolly sighed happily and leant against Sylvia gently as she sighed softly.
" So satisfying to know that my kisses are the best. Here I was worried they were terrible. " Sylvia giggled softly before standing up and stretching out as the crystals on her skin faded. " Think I will head home for a while. I'll see you two later. " Sylvia smiled before getting out of the water and getting dressed as Ajiya and Lolly blushed. After Sylvia had left, Ajiya spoke softly.
" Did that fill your curiosity Lolly? " Ajiya giggled softly as Lolly blushed lightly.
" Almost... " Lolly blushed brightly as she turned to look at Lolly.
" Almost? What do yo... " Ajiya fell silent as Lolly pressed a gentle kiss to her lips and whimpered softly. After a few moments, Lolly moved back and sighed softly.
" Okay... Now I'm satisfied. " Lolly smiled as Ajiya gasped and blushed brightly.
" You are so bad Lolly..." Ajiya giggled softly before speaking again. " Does this mean you are in love with Sylvia... Or me? "
" No... I mean I don't think so. I love both of you like sisters. That being said... I wouldn't say no to more kisses. " Lolly giggled devilishly as Ajiya rolled her eyes.
" Ofcourse you wouldn't. What ever would Cookie say about your unending mischief? " Ajiya smiled as lolly giggled.
" To be honest... I am reasonably sure my mother would tell me that I am not being mischievous enough. " Lolly giggled happily as Ajiya smiled.
Meanwhile
Sylvia walked to her room and took her coat off before hanging it up and laying on her bed as she sighed loudly. As she stared at the ceiling, Sylvia's eyes fluttered slightly before she fell asleep.
After a few hours, Sylvia awoke and yawned softly before getting up and putting her coat back on. After stretching out, Sylvia left the house and walked to the arena. After walking to the middle of the arena, Sylvia focused for a moment and sighed as the tingling ripple of energy flowed through her body.
" Let's try this again... " Sylvia sighed and focused as the ground beneath her feet crystallised in a circle again. After opening her eyes, Sylvia ran her hand through her hair. As it clinked softly, Sylvia remembered the feelings that filled her when she heard Marigold and Sandersonia tell her she wasn't wanted. As those feelings of pain and anger filled her, Sylvia's body glowed brightly. As the ground shook beneath her feet, Her body pulsed with energy. As Sylvia opened her eyes, The entire Arena erupted into crystal. The entire ground, Stands, Moat and walls were covered in a layer of crystal. As Sylvia looked around, Several clusters of towering crystal burst out of the layer of crystal.
After a moment, Sylvia closed her eyes and focused again. As she breathed out, The crystal clusters around her vibrated slightly and hummed softly. As the crystals vibrated, Sylvia's eyes shot open and images filled her mind. Images of a man with a scar over his right eye and a woman with short black hair. As the images of the two people faded, An image of an island, Covered in trees with bubbles filling the air flashed before her eyes.
After a few moments, Sylvia's body stopped glowing and the crystal formations around her receded and slowly disappeared. As she sighed softly, Sylvia heard Hancock's voice.
" Sylvia? Are you alright? " Hancock spoke softly as she walked down the steps with Marigold and Sandersonia in tow.
" No... I am definitely not alright... " Sylvia trembled as the next words burned a hole in her heart. " I have been seeing images... Memories... Since I went to the caves and found Shika. While I was there I figured out how to transfer memories into my crystals and then back into my mind to see them clearly... The images are of a man with a scar over his right eye and a woman with short black hair. They are important to me somehow but I just can't figure it out... " Sylvia trembled slightly as Hancock picked her up and held her lovingly.
" I know the two people you are talking about. All three of us do. The mans name is Silvers Rayleigh. The woman is call Shakuyaku. Shakky to her friends. We also know where to find them. They kept us safe when we escaped the World Government as children. We owe them a great debt. " Hancock's voice was soft and soothing. As she finished speaking, Marigold spoke softly.
" You know... It's been a while since we last saw them. Why not go visit? " Marigold smiled playfully as Hancock nodded.
" Considering that Sylvia is seeing memories of them, It seems prudent that we go. Prepare the ship. " Hancock spoke sternly as Sylvia nuzzled against her gently before Marigold and Sandersonia nodded and walked away.
After about an hour, Everyone boarded the ship and sailed toward the crystal wall.
As Sylvia stood at the bow of the Kuja Pirate's ship, Shika slithered over and coiled herself around Sylvia's body and started nuzzling her cheek tenderly.
" What does it mean Shika? Why do I see them in my memories? It's so confusing... " Sylvia sighed softly as Shika hissed affectionately and turned her head toward the wall as they approached it. Before they got too close, Sylvia's body changed into her crystal form and she raised her hands. As her arms stretched out, A thunderous rumble filled the air and a section of the crystal wall wide enough for the ship to pass through receded into the wall around it as the ship sailed through. Once the ship was clear, Sylvia lowered her arms and the wall resealed itself as her body returned to normal.
" That is one hell of a defensive wall. Marines are never getting through that. " Marigold spoke happily and smirked as Hancock smiled.
" Indeed. Now on to more pressing concerns, We will arrive at Sabaody Archipelago in a few da... " Hancock froze as Sylvia's voice filled the air.
I can see
When you stay low, nothing happens
Does it feel right?
Late at night
Things I thought, I put behind me
Haunt my mind
I just know there's no escape now
Once it sets its eyes on you
But I won't run, Have to stare it in the eye
Stand my ground, I won't give in
No more denying, I got to face it
Won't close my eyes and hide the truth inside
If I don't make it, Someone else will stand my ground
It's all around
Getting stronger, Coming closer
Into my world
I can feel
That it's time for me to face it
Can I take it?
Though this might just be the ending
Of the life I held so dear
But I won't run, There's no turning back from here
Stand my ground, I won't give in
No more denying, I got to face it
Won't close my eyes and hide the truth inside
If I don't make it, Someone else will stand my ground
All I know for sure is I'm trying
I will always stand my ground
Stand my ground
I won't give in
I won't give up
No more denying, I got to face it
Won't close my eyes and hide the truth inside
If I don't make it, Someone else will
Stand my ground
I won't give in
No more denying, I got to face it
Won't close my eyes and hide the truth inside
If I don't make it, Someone else will stand my ground
As Sylvia finished singing, Hancock placed a hand on her shoulder. Upon turning around and putting her arms around Hancock, Sylvia spoke softly. " I am just so lost... So confused... I feel like part of me is missing and I don't know why... "
" We will find out sweetheart. Together. " Hancock petted Sylvia's head gently as she looked out over the ocean. " Together. "
A Few Days Later
Sylvia was sleeping in Ajiya's quarters on the soft pile of cushions as Ajiya entered the room and kissed Sylvia's cheek gently, Causing her to yawn softly and open her eyes slightly. " Ajiya... Are we there yet? "
" Yes. We arrived a few minutes ago. " Ajiya smiled slightly as Sylvia stood and stretched before getting dressed and speaking.
" I want to change my hair. " Sylvia looked toward the mirror to see her long black hair flowing down to her waist. Her cerulean blue eyes and slightly tanned skin reflecting in the mirror before her. After thinking for a moment, Sylvia picked up a pair of scissors on the dresser as Ajiya spoke.
" Let me do it Sylvia. Please? " Ajiya had a look of longing on her face as Sylvia smiled and handed her the scissors.
" I want it to be short and spike toward the back of my head please. " Sylvia sighed softly as she sat down and tried to stay still as Ajiya styled her hair the way she wanted it.
After styling her hair, Sylvia walked up to the deck with Ajiya in tow. As they stepped onto the deck, They saw an island ahead with trees so tall they looked as if they were touching the sky itself. As they sailed closer, Sylvia saw bubbles floating through the air all over the island.
As the ship came to a stop and the gangplank was placed into position, Hancock spoke. " I am going ashore with Sandersonia, Marigold and Sylvia. Everyone else will stay here. "
" But... " Ajiya barely had enough time to speak before Hancock glared at her.
" That is not up for discussion. " Hancock walked down the gangplank with Sylvia close behind followed by Sandersonia and Marigold. As they walked away from the ship, Sylvia spoke softly.
" How far is it to where they are? " Sylvia spoke with a mix of excitement and concern as Marigold tousled her hair gently.
" Not far. Love the new haircut by the way. Suits you. " Marigold spoke tenderly as Sylvia grinned.
After about ten minutes of walking, Hancock, Sylvia, Marigold and Sandersonia approached what looked like a small shack. As Hancock stepped in, A woman's voice filled the air. " Boa Hancock. Fancy seeing you here. "
" Indeed Shakky. Where's Rayleigh? " Hancock spoke firmly as she stood in the doorway.
" Out on a job. He will be back shortly. Why? " Shakky spoke calmly but had a look of suspicion on her face as Hancock stepped in.
" I have someone here you two will want to meet. " Hancock stepped aside as Sylvia walked in. As she looked toward Sylvia, Shakky's eyes went wide and the cigarette in her mouth fell to the floor.
" It can't be... I thought... " Shakky's voice shook as a man's voice followed.
" Thought what Shakky? Oh... Hancock... How nice of you to visit. " The man smiled as Hancock turned and smiled.
" It is good to see you too Rayleigh. " Hancock smiled but stayed quiet as Shakky spoke.
" Rayleigh... She's here... " Shakky spoke shakily as Rayleigh stepped into the shack.
" Who is... " Rayleigh paused as he looked toward Sylvia. " Impossible... "
" Can someone please tell me what is impossible? And explain why I keep seeing the two of you in my memories? " Sylvia spoke softly before Rayleigh stepped forward and hugged her tenderly." Uhm... Not to sound rude but... This... This is kind of awkward... " Sylvia squirmed nervously as Rayleigh put her down.
" Sorry. It has been a long time... You... You don't remember do you? " Rayleigh spoke sadly as look of sadness slowly crept onto his face.
" Remember what? Who are you? " Sylvia looked between Rayleigh and Shakky before moving to Hancock's side and holding onto the side of her dress tightly. " Mother what is going on... I... "
" This is Silvers Rayleigh. The woman is Shakuyaku. Shakky for short. They... They are your birth parents. " Hancock's voice trembled as she placed a hand on Sylvia's head gently.
" But... But I don't... " Sylvia looked up at Hancock with confusion in her eyes before looking toward Rayleigh with anger and pain in her eyes. " YOU ABANDONED ME! "
Sylvia burst into tears and ran out of the shack as Shakky motioned to follow her but Rayleigh held her back as she fought back tears and turned away from the door as Rayleigh put her arms around her gently. " Let her go... She needs... She needs time. Thank you for taking her in Hancock. "
" It was the least I could do. I didn't know she was yours until she told me about her memories. The way she described you was... Well it just couldn't have been anyone else. But why weren't you there for her? Why did you let her go? " Hancock had a look of confusion and disbelief on her face as Rayleigh spoke.
" We didn't let her go. She was taken. " Rayleigh looked out the door as Shakky spoke.
" When she was very young... In fact it was just after her third birthday. We went to the theme park. She was on the Ferris Wheel... When she got off, Marines swarmed the area looking for someone. We lost her in the crowd. When everything calmed down we went looking for her. It took us days to find out what had happened. The slavers had paid a pirate crew to cause a commotion and during the chaos they kidnapped over twenty children... Including our daughter. By the time we tracked down the slavers... She was gone. They couldn't tell us where. We searched for months. We heard a rumour of a child disappearing for five years on an island near yours but when we got there... There was no sign of her. The people there told us what they did... We... " Shakky looked toward Rayleigh as she fell silent.
" You what? " Hancock looked between them before Rayleigh spoke.
" Burned the village to the ground. We made them all pay for the things they did to her. For the things they said about her. " Rayleigh had a look of rage in his eyes as Sylvia's voice filled the shack.
" You came looking for me... But... But why don't I remember any of this? " Sylvia trembled and stepped away as Shakky motioned to touch her.
" The slavers drugged the children they took. The memories would have been fuzzy at best... We tried so hard to find you... " Shakky knelt down and had a look of longing in her eyes as Sylvia stepped toward her cautiously.
" You... You really are my parents? " Sylvia looked between Rayleigh and Shakky cautiously as they both nodded with a smile. After a moment, Rayleigh knelt beside Shakky as Sylvia looked toward Hancock, Who nodded silently. Sylvia stepped forward again and looked between Rayleigh and Shakky as her thoughts and emotions spiralled out of control.
Sylvia's powers are developing quickly and memories long forgotten are clear once again.
Meeting her birth parents creates many questions and much confusion.
What awaits now that Sylvia has learned the truth?
