"My name's Cynthia!" The woman replied in a bubbly, yet serious tone. It took a moment or two, for the other to respond.

""Nice to meet you. You can call me Steven."

Wallace watched the scene from the corner of his eye, grimacing. They had just met each other, and yet, they had quickly become best friends. Or, at least, that was what it seemed like, to Wallace. After what seemed like an eternity, his best friend made his way back towards their table, grinning as though he'd just won though he'd just won the lottery. He quickly turned his eyes back to his food.

Wallace, honestly, couldn't bring himself to care. Alright.. Perhaps he cared at bit more then he realized.

"She's a dragon Pokèmon trainer from Sinnoh." Steven rambled happily about his newly found friend.

"What was she doing in Hoenn, much less Sootopolis?" The blue haired male frowned at his best friend, but Steven didn't seem to take notice of the other's jealousy.

"Training. She wanted to talk to me about an exhibition match at Evergrande."

Wallace smirked, placing another forkful of salad in his mouth. "What are you doing in Sootopolis? Not shirking your responsibilities, I hope." He added playfully. He chuckled, noticing how his best friend quickly went quiet. He stabbed another forkful, and pointed it towards the other male. "You are the Champion. You neededn't take breaks like this. It's rather unbecoming."

Steven grunted, before stealing the fork, and taking the salad for himself. Wallace blinked owlishly, before sighing in defeat, a fond smile on his face as he watched the other eat.

"Needs more dressing." The silverette spoke in between forkfulls.

Wallace rolled his eyes. At least he was eating, for Wallace often worried about him. It was then, the other took his leave, Wallace watching him go after a short goodbye. But for him, the hug was worthwhile.
