A Dragon's Call
Chapter 8
" No! Please don't do this! I need to fight! " Erza spoke sternly and gasped as a light surrounded her.
' No. No you don't. We will fight for you. We will keep you safe and make Jellal pay for this. But we need you to be safe. " Shô sighed as a card fell to the floor with Erza contained within.
" NO! Let me out Shô! I need to stop him! " Erza slammed her hands against the invisible barrier keeping her trapped as tears filled her eyes.
" Sorry Erza. But this is our fight. " Shô grinned before picking up the card and running off with Milliana and Wally in tow. As they ran, Erza cried softly.
Meanwhile
" Where the hell is everyone? Whatever. " Natsu sighed before a voice made him turn as his hands burst into flame.
" That is unnecessary. I am with Erza. " Simon spoke calmly but froze as another voice made him look across the room.
" That is your first mistake. "
As Natsu and Simon looked toward the source of the voice, A man with what appeared to be an owl head rushed forward as darkness surrounded them all.
" We should run! " Simon motioned to move but groaned loudly before being lifted off of his feet and slammed against the wall before falling to the floor as the darkness disappeared.
" I am an owl. I can see through darkness. It was foolish of you to think that you were safe in the shadows. My name is Fukuro. Your journey ends here. " Fukuro spoke coolly as he looked toward Natsu, Who had flames seething out of him as Simon spoke.
" He is a member of Trinity Raven. They belong to a guild called Death's Head Caucus. They are a guild that takes care of assassination jobs. " Simon coughed lightly as a look of rage appeared on Natsu's face.
" Just another punk ass thug. I'm gonna kick your ass! " Natsu took a breathe before speaking as he breathed out. " Fire Dragon's Roar! "
Fukuro huffed softly as he stepped aside, Dodging Natsu's flames. As the flames receded, Fukuro spoke.
" A valiant effort. I am afraid you will now fall. " Fukuro spoke calmly before firing a missile at Natsu. As the missile pulled Natsu off his feet, Natsu groaned heavily as his motion sickness kicked in. Before he realised what was happening, Fukuro opened his mouth wider than humanly possible and chuckled as a dumbfounded expression settled onto Natsu's face.
" Natsu! " Gray walked into the room as Fukuro swallowed Natsu.
" Hmm... He was a fire mage. Intriguing. " Fukuro chuckled softly and looked toward Gray with disinterest as Gray spoke.
" Ice Make: Cannon! " Gray levelled his aim at Fukuro who in turn raised his arm as his hand erupted into flames. As Gray's cannon fired, Flames turned the ice he was using into little more than a puddle before completely engulfing him.
" I absorb the magic of mages that I eat. I can use the flames that pink haired fool tried to defeat me with. In ten minutes, His body will dissolve and the fool will cease to exist. You can do nothing to defeat me. Fire defeats ice. You are as much a fool as the one I ate. " Fukuro spoke bluntly as his waves of flame intensified slightly.
" I can't stop here! I need to find Erza and protect her! SO GET OUT OF MY WAY! " Gray yelled loudly as the flames engulfing him froze solid and he looked toward Fukuro who seemed surprised as Gray continued. " You might be able to use the magic of mages you eat but you are still a pitiful weakling. Those flames are no where near as hot as Natsu's. You are just a pretender. "
" You insolent little fool. I will add your magic to my abilities as well. You will die a slo... " Fukuro fell silent as his mouth froze over and Gray spoke calmly.
" I have no time for playing around. Erza needs me. " Gray spoke calmly before a flashback filled his mind.
" Why do you sit alone? " Gray spoke softly as he sat down next to a young Erza Scarlet.
" I like being alone. I don't feel comfortable around people. " Erza spoke sadly as tears ran down her cheeks freely before Gray spoke angrily.
" You shouldn't sit alone and cry! You are one of us now! " Gray grinned as Erza looked toward him with teary eyes.
As the flashback left Gray's mind, He moved into his Ice Make stance and spoke clearly as a frosty aura swirled around him. " Ice Blade: Seven Slice Dance! "
Gray rushed forward and slashed Fukuro with blades of ice. As Fukuro fell to the floor, Gray spoke sternly. " Erza belongs in Fairy Tail. As long as Erza is in Fairy Tail, She will never cry again. " As Gray stopped speaking, Simon stood and spoke calmly.
" Impressive. You are much stronger than my information about you indicated. " Simon spoke praisingly before Gray turned to look at him.
" Quit the small talk. We need to... To find... Erza... " Gray collapsed as his wounds overwhelmed him before Simon spoke.
" What a wonderful guild Erza has joined. " Simon chuckled softly before picking Gray and Natsu up and continuing onward.
Magic Council
" I think this is a mistake. Is Etherion truly the only answer? " Org spoke with a tone of confliction before Michello spoke.
" We will have to take full responsibility to maintain order. That being said, We absolutely cannot allow Zeref to be resurrected. " Michello spoke sternly before Org nodded in agreement.
Meanwhile
" Are you still with me Ultear? Your loyalty not wavering? " Siegran spoke softly as Ultear looked toward him in shock.
" You question my loyalty to you? You think I would betray you? I have been a central part of this plan for a long time Siegran. I intend to see it done. " Ultear sounded insulted as she spoke and turned away in a huff as Siegran continued.
" How comforting. If Etherion fails, We will likely all die Ultear. Are you prepared to face that? " Siegran spoke calmly as Ultear turned to face him with an irritated expression.
" Ofcourse I am! You think I would be here if I wasn't?! " Ultear turned and left the room as Siegran turned to look out of the window as Yajima quietly walked away from the alcove he had been listening from.
Tower Of Heaven
" It is almost time to say goodbye to Siegran. Soon we will find our true freedom. " Jellal spoke softly before knocking another piece off of the chess board.
" Shô please let me out. I need to stop him! " Erza pleaded with Shô as he continued toward the throne room. Wally and Milliana had gone a different way to try and find the Fairy Tail members before getting to the throne room.
" Sorry Erza. But I am going to protect you no matter what. " Shô spoke calmly but as he turned down the final corridor that lead to the throne room, A feminine voice stopped him in his tracks.
" So sweet. Willing to put your life on the line for a fair maiden. So very... Noble of you... " The woman giggled menacingly as Shô spoke.
" Ikaruga. Get out of my way. I am not interested in fighting you. " Shô spoke softly before unleashing a wave of cards. As Ikaruga smiled , She swung her sword with little effort, Slicing all the cards clean in half and giggled as the cards vanished and a look of shock appeared on Shô's face.
" Shô you need to run! She is too strong! " Erza pleaded with Shô as Ikaruga attacked. After dodging, Shô spoke sternly.
" You are safe in there Erza. The card can't be damaged from outside attacks. Now stay quiet and let me handle this! " Shô spoke confidently but his confidence faltered as Ikaruga giggled again.
" Keep telling yourself that. " Ikaruga grinned before slicing toward the card. As Shô looked at the card in shock, Erza blocked the attack before Ikaruga landed a hit on Shô, Tossing him aside as the card fell to the ground before glowing brightly. As the glow receded, Erza looked toward Ikaruga with a fierce expression as she spoke.
" You should get out of my way. I don't have time to waste with you. " Erza spoke sternly but gasped loudly as her Heart Kruez armour shattered.
" What... ? " Erza looked shock as Ikaruga spoke.
" I must admit, I am surprised you didn't see that coming. " Ikaruga grinned devilishly as Shô watched as the realisation of how serious Erza was about fighting settled into his mind as Erza spoke.
" Requip: Heaven's Wheel! " Erza glowed brightly as her Heaven's Wheel armour equipped but once against gasped loudly as her armour was shattered with little effort.
" I am getting bored. Can't you at least try your best? " Ikaruga surged forward and attacked Erza with searing flames as Erza spoke.
" Requip: Flame Empress! " Erza glowed brightly again before her Flame Empress armour equipped but once again was shocked at how effortlessly her armour was destroyed.
" I admit, Your ability to Requip so quickly is very impressive. Might I suggest your strongest armour? Perhaps it will last more than a few seconds. " Ikaruga grinned mischievously as Erza looked toward her with frustration on her face.
" Have it your way. Requip: Purgatory! " Erza glowed brightly once more but the moment her armour equipped, It shattered. As Erza fell to her knees, Ikaruga spoke with disinterest in her voice.
" So gullible. There is no armour that you can wear that will withstand my blade little girl. You should just give in and let Jellal have his way. " Ikaruga giggled playfully as Erza stood slowly.
" You are right. My armours can't withstand your blade. But that is not because the armour is weak. It is because I have been weak. I have used my armour as an excuse to stay closed away from my friends. I have been so insecure and uncomfortable without my armour that I have been blind to the truth. I will defeat you. And I don't need my armour to do it. My armour keeps the warmth of my family away. Fairy Tail is my home and family and I love everyone that has become a part of that. Requip: Clear Heart! "Erza glowed brightly as Ikaruga watched with curiosity on her face. This time, As the glow faded, Ikaruga spoke with confusion.
" What is this? You are barely dressed! You expect to defeat me in nought but a Sarashi and Hakama? Are you mad? " Ikaruga laughed in disbelief before blocking an attack that pushed her back several feet from the force of the strike alone.
" Gotta agree with Ikaruga here Erza. That's... That's not even funny. Get serious. " Shô spoke with disappointment but his jaw dropped as Erza spoke with conviction.
" I am serious. And yes Ikaruga. Yes, I will defeat you. And when I have, I will tear down everything Jellal has built. I will make him pay for what he has done to me and my friends and I will see his plan in dust at his feet. Now get out of my way. " Erza spoke forcefully and fiercely as she pointed one of the twin katana at Ikaruga.
As Ikaruga looked at Erza, She huffed and charged forward. As Erza and Ikaruga swung their blades, It was almost imperceptible as to who won. Erza shook slightly but after a moment, Ikaruga fell to her knees as a trickle of blood ran down her chest and her sword fell from her hand before shattering as it touched the ground. As Ikaruga fell to her side, She spoke softly before passing out.
" It doesn't matter that you won. We will all die soon anyway. Enjoy your last moments little girl... " Ikaruga fell unconscious as Shô groaned painfully.
" Did not see that coming. What now Erza? " Shô spoke calmly before Erza turned to face him.
" Get everyone out of the tower Shô. Make sure everyone is out. All our friends. Make sure my friends from Fairy Tail make it out too. I will deal with Jellal. " Erza turned and hurried toward the throne room as Shô left to find everyone.
Outside
Natsu groaned softly as the sound of people talking woke him up. " What the... Where am I? Last thing I remember is feeling sick... "
" You got eaten by Fukuro. Gray saved you. " Simon spoke plainly but had a tone of disappointment in his voice as Natsu nodded to Gray, Who nodded in return.
" Wait! I lost?! Where the hell is Fukuro?! I'm gonna kick his ass for eating me! " Natsu motioned to move toward the tower but froze as Simon seized his arm.
" Hold on now... We have no time for revenge. We have to save Erza. " Simon spoke pleadingly as Natsu looked at him with bewilderment on his face.
" Wait a minute... If Fukuro ate me... How am I here? " Natsu looked around wildly before Gray spoke.
" When I defeated him, Fukuro kind of uhm... Vomited you up. It was super gross man. " Gray shivered before Natsu groaned disgustedly before turning back to Simon.
" What do you mean save Erza? What happened Simon? " Natsu had a stern look on his face as Simon spoke.
" Only Jellal is left. Everyone else was defeated by your friends. But Jellal is too powerful for Erza. She cannot defeat him. She will not bring herself to kill him and he will use that against her. I beg you to save her. " Simon spoke pleadingly but had a look of shock on his face as Natsu replied.
Meanwhile
" That was unfortunate. I was hoping the game would last longer. " Jellal knocked over all but to of the pieces on the chess board as Erza walked into the room.
" Jellal! " Erza looked at Jellal with longing in her eyes as he turned to face her.
" Erza Scarlet. It took you long enough. Now I can fulfil my plan and resurrect Zeref. " Jellal smiled maliciously as Erza spoke again.
" I am here to stop you and free my friends. Let them go Jellal! " Erza raised her katana but froze with a look of surprise on her face as Jellal chuckled softly.
" Take them. Now that the tower is complete, I certainly have no use for them. " Jellal glared at Erza coldly as she replied.
" The tower will be destroyed in a few minutes Jellal. " Erza tried to remain composed but once again had a look of surprise on her face as Jellal chuckled once more.
" I am aware of that. And when Etherion fires, You will die and Zeref will be resurrected. As is your destiny Erza. " Jellal grinned evilly as Erza took a step back and sighed softly.
Outside
" Nope. " Natsu grinned as Simon motioned to speak but fell silent as Natsu continued. " Erza is the strongest there is. She doesn't need me to save her. She will kick Jellal's ass. You shouldn't underestimate her. "
" You don't understand! " Simon stood quickly and had a look of anger and frustration on his face as Natsu looked at him with confusion. " Etherion is going to fire at the tower. Erza is likely going to use that to die and take Jellal with her. Erza will not bring herself to kill Jellal and he will absolutely use that against her. When Etherion fires, Everyone inside that tower will die. " Simon had a look of urgency on his face as Natsu glanced up at the tower before speaking.
" Where is she now Simon? " Natsu spoke with ferocity as he looked toward Simon.
" In the throne room. It's at the very top of the tower. " Simon barely finished speaking as Natsu took off running.
" Get everyone out of here Simon! I'll save Erza! " Natsu surged toward the base of the tower and started climbing as fast he could.
Throne Room
" What are you truly after Jellal?! The R-System probably needs tons of magic energy to activate. You aren't powerful enough to use it! " Erza dodged another attack and felt anger build inside her as the magic attacks from Jellal damaged the tower again and again.
" You fool Erza! Etherion will fire in mere moments! We will both die to return Zeref to this world! " Jellal laughed maliciously as Erza yelled at him.
" My friends spent eight years building this tower and you are damaging it like that doesn't matter! What is wrong with you?! What happened to the gentle, Caring Jellal that I grew up with?! This isn't you! " Erza spoke desperately but to no avail as Jellal continued attacking and laughed evilly. As Erza motioned to dodge, Her footing slipped and the attack hit her. Even though the attack hit, Erza managed to lunge toward Jellal and slash him, Causing him to stagger slightly. As Jellal groaned, Erza pinned him to the ground and sat on his chest with her sword at his throat as Jellal looked up at her with surprise as she spoke.
" Please stop Jellal. You don't have to do this. " Erza spoke pleadingly but felt the hope in her heart slowly falter as Jellal grinned and spoke.
" Fool. I am possessed by the black mage Zeref's soul. I am but a doll, Performing his bidding as he commands it. This was all over before it even began. Use your last moment wisely Erza. We will soon die to usher Zeref back to life. " Jellal laughed coldly as tears built up in Erza's eyes slowly.
Magic Council
" Etherion is fully charged. " Michello spoke softly as Yajima looked up at the weapon they were about to unleash.
" Then pray that you have not made the worst choice possible. " Yajima turned away as the other members of the council looked to each other with worry and in some cases, Regret, As the weapon fired.
Tower Of Heaven
As everyone floated away from the island in a boat, Juvia looked up at the sky as a bright light lit up the sky. " Gray... Etherion... "
As Juvia finished speaking, Simon looked up at the tower sadly. " It is too late... "
Throne Room
" The time has come. Die with me Erza. Die with me and give Zeref life. " Jellal laughed maniacally as Erza looked toward the nearby window to see a bright light filling the sky above the tower As a look of relief settled over her face, Erza pulled Jellal against her and hugged him tightly.
Outside
The bright light surged down from the sky at incredible speed. A bare few seconds before hitting the tower, Everyone looked up to see a bright silver flash of light and the attack from Etherion stop dead a few metres away from the tower. As they watched, They heard a bone rattling roar as a swirl of colours pushed back against Etherion as Lucy smiled and yelled as loud as she could.
" SYRA! " Lucy smiled brightly as looks of relief appeared on everyone's faces and the shape of Syra's Transformation State became visible amongst the swirling colours and bright light from Etherion. As they watched, Syra struggled to keep Etherion at bay. Small flecks of Etherion were splitting through Syra's power and lashing her with magical energy. As Syra roared a second time, Several large splinters of Etherion's magic energy split through her power and flowed into her open mouth.
As the magic energy intertwined with her own, Something deep within Syra awoke. It felt as if the source of her magic had duplicated. Syra screamed loudly as her eyes seethed silver flames before the glow around her intensified immensely and the swirling burst of colours from her Astral Roar exploded forward, Rapidly expanding to an incredible size and completely engulfing Etherion's attack and shattering the magic circles in the sky above the tower before Syra turned her gaze toward the magic signature of Etherion's Lacrima and roaring once more, Firing another Astral Roar toward the Magic Council building.
As Syra's Astral Roar fired toward the Magic Council, Jellal looked out of the window and screamed in rage.
Magic Council
" How is this possible... " Org spoke with concern in his voice as they realised the attack had failed.
" What is the meaning of this?! " Yajima turned to look at the other members as a look of irritation and rage appeared on Siegran's face. " Siegran?! "
Before teleporting away, Siegran turned to Ultear and spoke. " Destroy them. I will handle this. "
Ultear nodded before unleashing her magic as Siegran vanished before Yajima spoke again.
" Traitors! Damn you Ultear! And damn Siegran! " Yajima yelled loudly as Ultear lashed the Magic Council building with her magic.
" You fools! Jellal's plan will be reali... What is that?! " Ultear looked toward the horizon to see a torrent of colour barrelling toward the building. Ultear watched in horror as the vortex of colour slammed into the Lacrima of Etherion, Relentlessly lashing it with magic energy. As the torrent of magic engulfed the Lacrima, The building rumbled violently before the Lacrima cracked and shattered, Causing a wave of magic energy to surge throughout the building, Forcing the building to crack and break. As the building fell to pieces around them, The Magic Council members rushed toward the exit as Ultear looked to the horizon with rage on her face before turning and running out of the building.
Tower Of Heaven
After her Astral Roar faded, Syra looked back at the tower to see Natsu climbing toward the top. Syra quickly flew toward him as she called to him. " Natsu! " Syra held her hand out as Natsu grinned and pushed away from the wall, Catching Syra's hand as she flew past. As Natsu held on as tight as he could, Syra circled the tower and slammed through the roof of the throne room, Causing Erza to lunge out of the way as Syra threw Natsu forward, Slamming him into Jellal as Syra landed next to Erza and hugged her tightly.
" It's so good to see you safe Erza. " Syra smiled brightly as Erza tousled her hair.
" It was you wasn't it? You stopped Etherion? " Erza looked at Syra as she felt Syra's magic energy rippling through the air around her.
" I uhm... Might have accidentally eaten some of it too... My magic feels so much stronger now. Like the source of my magic has doubled or grown bigger... " Syra smiled as Erza looked at her in shock.
" You... You awakened your Second Origin by eating Etherion... " Erza turned to look toward Jellal as Natsu yelled and punched him squarely in the face as Jellal yelled.
" DAMN YOU ALL! I WILL KILL YOU FOR THIS! " Jellal had a look of rage on his face as Siegran appeared beside him and merged with him. After a moment, Jellal spoke calmly. " My powers have returned to me. Now I will destroy you and force that one to awaken the R-System. " Jellal glared toward Syra before rushing toward Natsu and punching him forcefully, Sending him sprawling backward and crashing against the wall.
As Natsu stood, Erza rushed over but gasped as her body froze before she could reach him. " What... "
" I placed a Bind Snake on you when you hugged me. Once I defeat this fool, I will force that girl to awaken the R-System and use you as a sacrifice to resurrect Zeref. You cannot stop me Erza. Just stand there and watch as I fulfil the destiny we were chosen for. " Jellal smiled maliciously as Natsu walked forward and stood beside Erza as she spoke.
" Natsu please... I can't move... " Erza had a look of shock as Natsu grinned mischievously and began tickling her. " NATSU! No! Stop it! "
" Sorry Erza. I couldn't resist. " Natsu chuckled softly as Erza sighed and shook her head before biting her lip.
" Natsu please... Please don't fight Jellal. " Erza looked toward Natsu as he grinned again.
" I have to Erza. If we don't kick this guys ass and get back to the guild, We won't have any money to pay Lucy's rent on time. We gotta get back to work! " Natsu grinned again as tears built up in Erza's eyes.
" Natsu you don't understand! He is dang... " Erza gasped loudly as Natsu punched her in the stomach forcefully. As Erza blacked out, She heard Natsu speak.
" I got this. Get some rest Erza. " Natsu smiled as Erza fell to the floor and he turned to face Jellal as he spoke.
" Did you enjoy that? Striking your friend? Did it make you feel strong? " Jellal smiled maliciously as Natsu glanced at Syra.
" Erza gets hurt and I'll kick your ass to. " Natsu grinned as Syra smiled and nodded before Natsu rushed forward and punched Jellal with a flame covered fist.
As Natsu fell back, Jellal spoke. " Heavenly Body: Grand Chariot! "
As Jellal finished speaking, He moved his hands, Making a series of dots appear above Natsu before they all fired what appeared to be pillars of light, Leaving holes in the floor of the throne room.
" I should be more careful. I shouldn't risk Zeref's resurrection by damaging the tower further. " Jellal seemed to think he had spoken silently but a look or irritation and anger settled over his face as Natsu spoke.
" Ha! Breaking things is Fairy Tail's speciality! I 'm gonna wreck this tower! Man, I've never been so fired up! Fire Dragon's Iron Fist! " Natsu's fist erupted into flames before he punched the wall next to him, Leaving a large hole as he continued throwing punches.
" You insolent brat! I will kill you! Heavenly Body: Meteor! " Jellal moved incredibly quickly and connected several attacks as Natsu groaned loudly.
As Natsu took the hits from Jellal's attacks, Erza slowly awoke and coughed softly before running forward and shielding Natsu as Jellal attacked him again.
" Are you going to kill me too Jellal? You need me for the sacrifice. " Erza coughed lightly again as Jellal laughed and spoke.
" It doesn't matter who the sacrifice is anymore. Zeref WILL be resurrected! I will kill both of you in one stroke! Heavenly Body: Altaires! " Jellal moved his hands into an cross shape as a ball of black built up above him and sucked everything toward it. After a moment, Jellal threw the ball forward as Erza moved to shield Natsu again.
As the attack was about to hit, Simon ran forward and stood in front of Erza, Taking the full hit and leaving both Erza and Natsu unharmed. As Simon fell to his knees, Erza rushed forward and caught him as he fell backwards.
" Simon... Why?! " Erza's eyes filled with tears as Simon caressed her cheek gently.
" Because I have always loved you Erza. I will always love you... I am so sorry for everything... " Simon coughed softly as his life left him.
" Simon? Simon... No... " Erza bit her lip as tears began flowing down her cheeks before she screamed loudly and cried as Jellal laughed loudly.
" How pathetic! Giving up his life and chance at freedom to save someone like you Erza! Pitifu..." Jellal fell silent as Natsu slammed his fist into his face. As Jellal stood and wiped the trickle of blood away from his chin, Natsu spoke.
" You made Erza cry. Now your gonna get it you bastard. Syra! " Natsu looked at Syra who turned her head to look at him as he continued. " Give me everything you've got! Power me up! " Natsu grinned widely as Syra giggled and spoke.
" Silver Dragon Secret Art: Astral Roar! " Syra breathed out a massive torrent of colour that completely engulfed Natsu. As the swirling colours burned the floor and walls of the tower, Natsu started devouring them. Bit by bit, Syra's attack was swallowed.
Once the energy had dissipated, A roaring fire engulfed Natsu, The flames forming into what appeared to be a Dragon before receding and surrounding him in a searing hot flame as his eyes glowed a violent red and he spoke fiercely. " Erza was crying, Her voice was shaking and she was giving up. I don't want to see Erza like that. Erza should always be strong and courageous, That's why... I'LL FIGHT! " As Natsu grinned, Jellal had a look of shock at the immense speed Natsu moved with. Before Jellal Could react, Natsu landed a punch to the middle of Jellal's face, Sending him sprawling across the room as Natsu rushed him again.
After a few minutes of being tossed around the room like a rag doll, Jellal stood and coughed before shouting. " I CANNOT BE DEFEATED! I WAS CHOSEN BY ZEREF TO BUILD A KINGDOM OF FREEDOM! I WILL NOT LET YOU PREVENT ME FROM ACHIEVING MY DESTINY! ABYSS BREAK! " Jellal moved into a stance that Natsu, Syra and Erza didn't recognise as Erza spoke.
" That will destroy the entire tower and kill all of us Jellal! Stop this! " Erza spoke pleadingly but gasped as Jellal suddenly groaned as his magic fizzled into nothing. As Jellal looked at the slash on his side from Erza's sword, Natsu rushed forward as he shouted to Syra. " Can you catch shiny girl? " Natsu grinned as Syra shot him a look of annoyance before surging forward at his side before rocketing upwards to the ceiling. As Natsu punched Jellal, Sending him into the air, Syra slammed into him from above and smashed him through the floors of the tower. As they hit the bottom floor, Syra seized Jellal's leg and slammed him into the floor repeatedly before sending him crashing through the wall into the ocean outside as the tower shook violently. As Syra flew back through the holes and into the throne room, She found Natsu unconscious and Erza holding him tenderly. As Syra motioned to speak, The tower rumbled as magic energy rippled through the air.
" The R-System... It is unstable from the magic energy we all used... It's going to explode! " Erza spoke with urgency before looking toward where Jellal had been standing and noticing a large crystal that was glowing dimly. As Erza walked toward it, Syra spoke softly.
" Erza... What... What are you doing? " Syra watched as Erza walked to the crystal and stepped inside it as she spoke.
" I need to be sacrificed to control the tower. It is my turn to protect everyone. It is my turn to save you all. " Erza paused for a moment as Natsu woke up and looked toward her a look of shock on his face.
" Erza! Get out of there! " Natsu motioned to move but remained still as Erza spoke.
" I have to do this Natsu. It is the only way to save you all. Sacrificing myself to save everyone is worth it. Please take care of everyone Natsu. I will always be here for you all. I will always be with you... Goodbye... " Erza smiled softly as her vision faded to white. The last she heard before she lost herself to the blinding light was Natsu calling her name.
Erza's Vision
Erza awoke to find herself dressed in a white dress overlooking what appeared to be a funeral. As she watched, All the members of Fairy Tail stood around a grave as the Magic Council members walked toward them. As Erza watched, Makarov stepped forward and spoke.
" This is a very sad day. Erza was very special to many of us. She was family. Friend... And in many ways, She was my daughter. We will all miss her very much and all feel her absence from the guild. " Makarov sniffled softly as Mirajane, Lucy and Juvia cried loudly. After a moment, The Magic Council members stepped forward and Yajima spoke.
" To honour Erza's brave sacrifice, The Magic Council has decided that she is deserving of being one of the Ten Wizard Saints. May she forever be remember as the hero she was. Brave, Strong, Confident and willing to lay down her life for her friends and family. " Yajima placed a hand on Makarov's shoulder as Natsu walked forward with a look of anger on his face.
" This is a load of crap! There is no way Erza died. I can't accept this! " Natsu kicked the flowers on Erza's grave before the other members of Fairy Tail tackled him and pinned him to the ground as he yelled and groaned angrily.
" No... No! This isn't what I wanted for them! I didn't want them to be sad about this! I didn't sacrifice myself to give them sadness and pain! " Erza cried softly for a moment before closing her eyes as her vision faded to white again.
Reality
Erza awoke slowly and gasped softly as she saw Gray, Lucy and Juvia running toward her. As she looked around, She saw Syra standing next to her before realising that Natsu was carrying her. As Erza motioned to speak, Natsu put her down and spoke softly.
" You and I are the same Erza. Don't ever do this again. " Natsu spoke sternly but calmly as Erza bit her lip and hugged him tightly.
" I promise. I promise Natsu. I won't risk my life like this ever again. I know now. I know I don't have to die for my friends. I have to live for all your sake so that we can all have a happy future. I know that now. " Erza cried softly as she held Natsu tenderly before he spoke.
" Let's go home Erza. " Natsu grinned playfully as Erza smiled and nodded before standing up as Lucy ran forward and hugged Erza tightly.
A Few Days Later
" We are really sorry Erza. We should never have believed Jellal so blindly. " Milliana mewed sheepishly as Erza tousled her hair gently.
" Milliana is right. We should have trusted you more than that. " Shô spoke with a tone of sadness and disappointment as Wally spoke.
" We should have believed in you. You were our big sister. You protected us and guided us and we threw you aside like rubbish. We are all very sorry Erza. " Wally spoke sadly but smiled as Erza hugged the three of them gently.
" I have been thinking... You three have no where to go right? Why... Why not join Fairy Tail? I can introduce you to the members that helped save me if you like. " Erza smiled as the three nodded and as she left the room, Erza could have sworn she heard Jellal's voice.
" Look how strong you have become. "
Erza turned and looked around quickly but shook her head and left the room to realise that Milliana, Wally and Shô had vanished. Erza called their names but after no reply, Quickly walked to Lucy's room. As she arrived, Erza found Lucy writing.
" Lucy have you seen Milliana, Shô or Wally? " Erza had a puzzled look on her face as Lucy turned and shook her head. After a moment, Erza smiled and spoke. " Can you get the others together and tell them to set up some fireworks? "
Meanwhile
" I really love that Erza invited us to be in Fairy Tail with her but... " Milliana spoke softly but pouted sadly as Shô smiled.
" But after eight years slaving for Jellal... We need to live our own lives with our own freedom. Erza will understand that. " Shô spoke calmly as Wally chuckled.
" Indeed. Erza will... " Wally paused as they heard a soft sigh and all turned to see Erza standing a few metres away. After a moment, Erza's body glowed brightly before she changed into ceremonial plate armour, Holding a massive lance that had a large Fairy Tail flag tied to it. As tears built up in Milliana's eyes at the sight of Erza, Erza spoke sternly.
" There are three rules for anyone leaving Fairy Tail. One, You should never share sensitive information about Fairy Tail with anyone. " Erza bit her lip for a moment as she paused before tears built up in her eyes.
" But we were never in... " Shô spoke with a bewildered tone of voice but fell silent as tears flowed down Erza's cheeks.
" Two, You must never contact past clients you may have worked for while in the the guild, For your own gain. " Erza paused again as tears built up in Milliana's eyes. " Three, Although our path must stray, Promise to live rest of your life to the fullest. That means you must treat every day like it is your last day in this world. Never forget your Fairy Tail friends that love you, You must treasure them for as long as you live." Erza sighed sadly as Shô and Wally bit their lips as Milliana mewed sadly. After a moment, Erza raised her lance and spoke loudly. " Begin the Fairy Tail farewell ceremony! "
" Right! " Lucy giggled softly as Natsu and Gray grinned. After a moment, Lucy took a key out of her pouch and raised it, Firing a golden burst of magic into the air. As it exploded, Natsu took a breathe and sent several small balls of fire into the sky as Gray moved into his Ice Make stance before sending a barrage of ice crystals into the air, Colliding with Natsu's fire and Lucy's golden bursts to create a shower of colours and explosions of glittering magic.
As Erza waved, Milliana, Shô and Wally floated away in one of the boats that they had used to escape the Tower Of Heaven.
After watching Wally, Milliana and Shô leave, Syra and Ignia flew back to Magnolia Town.
The Next Day
After a peaceful night of sleep, Erza woke up and stretched slowly as a feeling of relief washed over her. As she looked toward the window of her room, She sighed softly and smiled before the door opened and Lucy walked in.
" Good morning Erza. Ready to go home? " Lucy smiled as Erza smiled and nodded before getting out of bed. After a few minutes, Erza, Lucy, Natsu, Juvia and Gray left the resort.
A Few Hours Later
" What do you mean you hoped for a good fight? We wrecked an entire tower! " Syra spoke with disbelief as a drunken Ignia laughed loudly before speaking.
" I just... Hic... I just mean that maybe... Hic... Maybe they should have put up a better fight. I was kinda bored. " Ignia laughed loudly as Laxus and Cana sat down beside him.
" Nah. If you spent more time fighting there would be no time for drinking. " Cana took a swig from the mug in her hand before grinning widely as Ignia shoved her playfully.
" I make... Hic... My own time for drinking. " Ignia drank the last of the booze in his mug before sighing contently and falling off his chair as he began snoring loudly.
" Now he just needs to learn how to drink like we do. " Cana spoke gleefully before finishing the booze in her mug and burping in unladylike fashion as Laxus roared with laughter.
" Let it never be said that you are a lady Cana. " Syra spoke teasingly as Cana shot her an approving look.
" Damn straight punk. Girly girls have no fun. " Cana grinned playfully as Laxus burped in an attempt to out burp Cana. " Nice try Laxus. "
" I'll best you one day Cana. Till then I'll just enjoy the booze. " Laxus grinned but sat up straight as Lucy's voice filled his ears.
" Having fun without me? How dare you. " Lucy smiled as she sat on Laxus' lap happily and pressed a soft kiss to his cheek.
" There's my girl. Have fun on holiday? " Laxus grinned mischievously as Lucy giggled playfully.
" Oh you know... Fireworks, Big fight, Magic, Bad guys and Syra eating things. What's not to like? " Lucy giggled as Syra shot her a playful look before the door opened again and Erza walked in.
Before she could speak, Erza was silenced by Mirajane running over and kissing her passionately. After breaking the kiss, Mirajane had a look of concern on her face as she spoke. " What happened?! Are you hurt? Who's skull do I need to crack for this?! " Mirajane had a frustrated looked on her face as Erza giggled.
" Think all the skulls have been cracked already Mira. But I appreciate your concern. " Erza smiled but gasped as Mirajane pushed her against the door roughly.
" Concern? CONCERN?! I have been losing my mind with worry! I haven't been told anything and Syra left before I could follow her! Concern isn't even the start of it! " Mirajane turned away as she pouted but relaxed as Erza put her arms around her waist and nuzzled against her neck gently.
" I really missed you to Mira. " Erza smiled as Mirajane sighed softly and turned around before wrapping her arms around Erza lovingly. After a moment, Ignia sat up and spoke.
" So sweet that I think I might vomit. " Ignia laughed but fell silent as a metal jug hit him squarely in the face before Syra tackled him and throttled him with irritation on her face.
" I'll teach you not to ruin a tender moment! " Syra shook Ignia like a rag doll for a moment before Mirajane giggled and spoke.
" Don't throttle him too much Syra. You might break him. " Mirajane giggled as Syra gasped and let Ignia go as he spoke dizzily.
" That... Was not what I expected... " Ignia shook his head slightly before falling backward and going back to sleep.
" Uhm... Oops? " Syra turned to face Mirajane with a sheepish look as Mirajane giggled again.
" It's so good to be home again. I missed everyone. " Erza smiled happily as Natsu and Gray burst through the door, Fighting as usual before crashing into Erza and Mirajane, Knocking them over.
As Natsu and Gray froze, Erza stood and turned toward them with a ferocious look on her face. " You two... "
As Natsu and Gray looked toward Erza with looks of concern and fear, Erza giggled and walked away before sitting at the bar as everyone watched her with looks of shock. After a few minutes, The Guild Hall was filled with laughter and singing as Mirajane passed around food and booze for everyone to celebrate Erza's return.
The Next Day
Syra yawned softly before kissing Levy and getting out of bed. After taking a bath and putting on her mage outfit, Syra walked to the Guild Hall with Amelia and Natalie in tow. As they entered, Amelia and Natalie ran over to Romeo and tackled him playfully as Syra smiled and sat at the bar. As she watched Romeo chase Amelia and Natalie around the Guild Hall, Erza sat next to her and spoke softly.
" I told Mira about Etherion. She wants me to keep an eye on you in case your magic spirals out of control. " Erza smiled as Syra giggled.
" I expected she might want someone to watch me. But... " Syra looked down at her hands as Erza looked at her with curiosity. " Although my Magic feels stronger... It's like something is missing. I don't know how to explain it. "
" Come outside. I think I know what might be happening. " Erza smiled as Syra nodded and followed her outside. After walking to their usual training area, Erza spoke calmly. " Try to use some of the other magic you have. Start with Ice Make. "
" Ice Make: Sword! " Syra moved into an Ice Make stance but gasped as nothing happened. " Wait... What happened? "
" Try Dragon Slayer magic that isn't your own. Levy told me you absorbed Cobra's magic. Try that. " Erza watched expectantly as Syra breathed in and spoke.
" Poison Dragon's Roar! " Syra breathed out but achieved little more than looking silly as Erza giggled playfully.
" Sorry Syra... You look adorable when you do that without magic. I have an idea of what is happening. " Erza smiled as Syra walked over to her. " When you devoured Etherion, It awakened your Second Origin. As a side effect, Etherion has effected your other magic. Kind of like when I get sick, My armour and weapons don't equip correctly or at all. You might have to just use your own magic for a while. "
" Bummer. I was looking forward to some training with my other magic. I suppose I will have to make do for now. " Syra smiled as Erza petted her head tenderly.
" I am sorry. I can't say how long it will last or even if it's temporary or not. Just train with your own magic for now. " Erza smiled as Syra nodded and hugged her gently.
" I am so happy you are home Erza. I was really worried when Happy showed up on his own. " Syra giggled as Erza spoke.
" Which reminds me, How did he escape? " Erza had a look of curiosity on her face as Syra shrugged.
" Let's go find out. " Syra smiled before walking toward the Guild Hall with Erza in tow.
Erza and Syra walked back into the Guild Hall before looking around and spotting Happy sitting on a table, Eating a fish as Natsu fought with Gray again. After sitting down, Erza spoke softly.
" Happy... How did you escape? I thought Wally captured you. " Erza had a puzzled look on her face as Happy spoke.
" Aye. Wally captured me and put me in his pocket. But when he was distracted I chewed a hole in his coat and put a toy cat in there so I could escape. He didn't even notice I was gone. " Happy ate his fish as Natsu sat down and grinned.
" I didn't know you were that tricky Happy. " Natsu grinned as Happy smirked.
" Aye sir! " Happy smiled playfully before he plopped back down and continued eating his fish as Syra and Erza giggled softly.
" How do you know he didn't notice right away? " Erza spoke calmly before Happy chuckled.
" I was hiding under one of the tables in the casino until they left with you. So I don't know exactly when he noticed but he certainly didn't notice until after they left. " Happy grinned playfully as Erza petted his head.
" Thank you Happy. If you didn't escape, We would have had to handle it on our own. I am not sure what would have happened if Etherion had hit the tower. " Erza smiled happily before Syra spoke.
" Thankfully we won't have to find out. Both Etherion and the Tower were destroyed. " Syra smiled as Erza looked at her in shock.
" Etherion was destroyed?! How do you know? " Erza had a look of surprise on her face as Syra giggled.
" Well I did send an Astral Roar at it. While I may not be the most powerful person around, A Lacrima would have a hard time taking a full hit from Astral Roar right after I ate Etherion. " Syra smiled as Erza continued looking at her with surprise on her face.
" How do you know Etherion had a Lacrima? " Erza looked toward Syra, Who giggled before another voice made Erza turn to look along the bar at where Makarov usually sat.
" Because I told her. " Sitting next to Makarov was another old man that seemed to be about the same height as Makarov.
" And you are? " Erza spoke softly as the man stood and bowed politely.
" Yajima. Former member of the Magic Council... And the only one to outright disapprove of using Etherion. " Yajima huffed impatiently as he continued. " Damn fools. I told them it was a terrible idea. They are fortunate that losing their seats on the Magic Council was the only punishment they faced. "
" I still think they got off too easy. " Syra spoke disapprovingly as Yajima chuckled.
" You and me both. Technically the Magic Council was disbanded after firing Etherion. But the King just wouldn't have it. The new council isn't much better than the last if you ask me. " Yajima laughed as he sat down again before Erza spoke.
" So why are you here Yajima? " Erza looked puzzled as Yajima stood.
" Ah yes... Syra. " Yajima looked disapprovingly as Syra looked away sheepishly.
" What about her? " Erza spoke curiously but remained silent as Yajima sighed and Syra spoke.
" I have blood on my hands Erza. I have killed people and my actions at the tower have caused a lot of concern about whether or not I am a threat to Fiore. The Magic Council has asked to speak with me... About the consequences of my actions since I arrived here. " Syra sighed softly as Erza spoke angrily.
" What consequences?! Everything you have done was to protect all of us! Bandits, Phantom Lord, Everything! Everything you have done was for a good reason! " Erza looked at Yajima with a disappointed look.
At the sound of Erza's angry voice, Amelia and Natalie looked toward her from where they were playing with Romeo and watched as the scene before them unfolded as Syra spoke again.
" That's not the point Erza! I killed people! People that didn't need to die! I have to face what I have done and accept the punishment! " Syra looked upset but sighed softly before continuing. " I didn't need to kill those bandits. I didn't need to kill Phantom Lord's Guild Master. I chose to do those things. It doesn't matter why I did it. It only matters that my hands are stained red and there is nothing I can do to make them clean again. " Syra bit her lip as tears built up in her eyes. " I hated Natsu for saying that I was just like Acnologia but he was right Erza. I killed those people without a seconds hesitation. I killed them without thinking it over until it was already done. I destroyed Phantom Lord's Guild without considering the safety of the nearby village or the damage to the area around it. I am just like my father and even though I try so hard to do the right thing... " Syra sat down and looked up at Erza with teary eyes as she spoke. " I'm just like him... I get angry so easily and I stop thinking. I kill without hesitation and despite doing these things for good reason... I only regret that I hadn't done it sooner... I only regret that people I love had to get hurt before I ended the cause of their pain. I am just like my father. " Syra cried softly before Yajima spoke.
" And that is why we must speak with her. Alone. That is why we must determine how much of a threat she is. Because she admits that she mirrors her father despite trying so hard to be different to him. That is why I am here. " Yajima sighed softly as Erza sat down, Utterly unable to voice any words of comfort or argument.
As Yajima spoke, Amelia and Natalie quickly left the Guild Hall and ran home without anyone noticing as everyone in the hall was preoccupied watching the conversation between Syra, Erza and Yajima. As the doors of the hall closed quietly, Syra spoke again.
" This is my own doing Erza. There is nothing anyone else can do. I am the only one that should be punished for this and I am the only one that has to live with it. The blood I have spilled, The screams of the people I have killed... Haunt me. I can never be rid of that. I can only face what I have done and hope that my punishment will be enough to atone. " Syra cried softly as Mirajane walked around the bar and held her tightly as Erza realised the rest of the Guild had fallen completely silent. After a moment, Ignia walked over and spoke approvingly.
" Takes a lot of guts to admit your wrong kid. I'll go with you. " Ignia smirked as Syra looked up at him with gratitude as Yajima spoke irritably.
" I just told you that we have to talk to her alone! " Yajima looked at Ignia who smirked and spoke.
" Bite me brat. I don't answer to the likes of you or your council. " Ignia stared toward Yajima defiantly as Syra placed a hand on Ignia's arm.
" Thank you Ignia but I have to do this alone. I have to face what I am. " Syra bit her lip as Ignia patted her head roughly before walking back to the table he was previously sitting at as Erza spoke.
" But you don't have to face this alone! Fairy Tail is a family. " Erza smiled but her smile faded as Syra looked toward her.
" That is exactly why I have to do it alone! I can't allow anyone else to be punished for my actions. " Syra sighed softly before standing up and facing Yajima, But before she could speak there was a scream from the guild doors.
" SYRA! "
Everyone turned toward the front doors of the Guild Hall where they saw Levy bent over and out of breath with both Amelia and Natalie standing beside her, Panting softly.
" Levy? Is something wrong? " Syra spoke softly as she watched Levy walk toward her.
" Amelia and Natalie ran home to get me and told me that you are leaving with Mr Yajima... " Levy spoke slowly as she caught her breathe while walking toward Syra. As Levy reached Syra, Syra motioned to speak but fell silent as Levy threw herself at Syra and hugged her tightly as Amelia and Natalie ran forward and each hugged one of Syra's legs.
" Were you seriously just going to leave without saying goodbye to your lover and two daughters? Really Syra? " Levy spoke softly as she hugged Syra slightly tighter as Syra spoke.
" Ofcourse I don't want to leave without saying goodbye... But... But I have to face the consequences for what I have done. " Syra spoke softly and held Levy as Levy spoke.
" That may be the case Syra, But even though you are stronger than most of us, The girls and I worry when you leave us. Every time you leave us behind we fear that you might not come home again. " Levy's voice trembled slightly as she stepped back and looked the Silver Dragon in the eye.
Upon seeing the underlying fear in Levy's eyes, A crack appeared in Syra's resolve at the thought of leaving with Yajima to face the council. After biting her lip softly, Syra took a deep breathe and maintained her composure as she cupped Levy's face gently and spoke softly.
" I will always return to you and the girls Levy. Wherever the three of you are is my home. " Syra smiled before pressing a soft kiss to Levy's forehead and stepping back as Levy spoke.
" You better. If you take too long to come home I will find you. No matter where you are, I will not stop searching until I find you. " Levy smiled and her cheeks flushed a light shade of pink as she continued. " I can't very well be a princess without my Dragon to keep me safe. " Levy sighed softly but as she looked at Syra, Levy blushed brightly and turned away as she spoke again. " I didn't mean to say that out loud! "
As Levy blushed and hid her face in embarrassment, Syra stepped away from Natalie and Amelia before kneeling down and pulling the two girls into a gentle hug. As Syra hugged them, Amelia and Natalie's eyes filled with tears.
" I want you two to do a very important job for me okay? " Syra smiled soothingly as Amelia and Natalie stepped back and nodded silently. " I want you to take care of Levy for me. And take care of each other. No matter what happens. Can you do that for me? " Syra's eyes filled with tears despite her best efforts to keep them hidden as the two girls nodded and surged forward to hug Syra again.
After several minutes holding the girls, Syra stood and looked toward Levy as Levy turned to face her. Before Levy could speak, Syra pulled her forward and kissed her, Filling her kiss with every ounce of love she had for Levy in her heart. After a few minutes, Syra broke the kiss and leant her forehead against Levy's for a moment before stepping away and turning to face Yajima as she spoke.
" Let's get this over with. " Syra spoke calmly but somewhere within her resolve, The cracks were starting to show. Syra had a nervous energy about her and her voice trembled slightly as she spoke. As Syra took a deep breathe, Yajima sighed.
" The Rune Knights will escort us to the Council. We will be taking the train. Shouldn't take more than a day or two. " Yajima sighed softly once more before hopping off the bar and walking to the door with Syra in tow. As the door closed, Erza turned to Makarov.
" Did he tell you what punishment they are planning? " Erza spoke sternly before Makarov sighed and spoke.
" He has an idea of what the council will say. " Makarov sighed softly as Erza made a face that said to tell her what Yajima had said. " Alright I'll tell you. They are going to force her to wear a new kind of magic suppressing bracelet while they investigate why Phantom Lord attacked. As for her actions at the Tower Of Heaven, He isn't sure what they have planned. "
" We really should go with her. " Erza looked to Mirajane who nodded slowly.
" We should, But we can't. " Mirajane sighed softly as Natsu spoke.
" Why not? She is one of us! " Natsu had an irritated look on his face as the other Guild Members looked at him in shock as Gray spoke.
" Since when do you like Syra? You have wanted to fight her since the moment she showed up! " Gray looked bewildered for a moment before Natsu spoke again.
" I still wanna fight her but she stood with us at the tower. She helped save Erza and she helped me kick Jellal's ass. She is family. We look out for our family. " Natsu grinned as Erza smiled and nodded.
Two Days Later
" So this is where the Magic Council headquarters are? " Syra looked out of the train window at the town of Era.
" For now. Once the council has spoken to you, The headquarters will be moved. I have not been told exactly where. " Yajima chuckled softly as Syra spoke.
" Aren't you a council member though? " Syra looked confused before Yajima shook his head.
" Former. I refused to join the new council. " Yajima smiled as he walked off the train with Syra following closely, Surrounded by a small squad of Rune Knights. After walking through the streets, Syra looked up at the Magic Council building and sighed softly.
" Sorry about the damage... " Syra looked away sheepishly as Yajima chuckled.
" I never much liked the architecture personally. " Yajima chuckled reassuringly before walking toward the build. As Syra followed Yajima, She could hear people talking. Upon rounding a corner, Syra saw a group of people in long white robes. As they looked toward her, Their faces fell into looks of disgust and disdain before the group walked through a set of large doors.
" I can only go with you for the discussion of your actions prior to the tower. After that I have to leave the room. " Yajima looked at Syra with a smile as she nodded and walked through the large doors. As Syra looked around, One of the people n white robes spoke.
" Do you know why you are here? " A man sitting in a chair slightly taller than the others spoke first.
" To answer for my actions prior to the incident at the Tower Of Heaven and my actions at the tower itself. " Syra spoke calmly but trembled nervously as the man nodded and spoke again.
" Good. Firstly, Your actions prior to the tower. We have determined that while you may have reason for your actions, Said actions are intolerable. Killing is a serious matter. Therefor, For the blood you have spilled, You will wear Magic Suppressing bracelets until our investigation of Phantom lord is complete. Yajima? " The man looked toward Yajima, Who nodded as Syra turned to face him.
" These bracelets can only be taken off by the person who puts them on. As a favour, Due to my refusal to take part in firing Etherion, The new council has allowed me to be the one to place these bracelets on you. Your arms please. " Yajima held two small jewelled bracelets as Syra held her arms out toward him. As Yajima put the bracelets onto Syra's wrists, They shrunk and gripped firmly as the jewel in them glowed softly for a moment. As Yajima stepped back, Syra sighed dizzily and shook her head slowly.
" That's an unpleasant sensation... " Syra rubbed her head gently as Yajima sighed.

Before the man finished his sentence, Syra felt a hard, Heavy impact to the back of her head and fell to her knees as she fell unconscious.
After a few minutes, The people in white robes walked out of the room. As they walked past Yajima, The man that had spoken to Syra looked toward him calmly. " We are done here. "
" Where might Syra be then? " Yajima spoke calmly but remained quiet as the man glared at him before walking past.
" That is none of your concern. " The man kept walking as Yajima rushed into the room and looked around. The room was empty except for the council seats and in the middle of the room where Syra had been standing, Was her Spacial Magic bracelet that contained her sword.
After picking up the bracelet, Yajima left the room and headed for the train station.
Two Days Later
As everyone was sitting in the Guild Hall, Yajima walked in and hurriedly wandered to the bar as Levy spoke.
" Where is Syra? " Levy had a look of concern on her face as Yajima sighed and held out Syra's bracelet.
" I do not know. I fulfilled the task of putting the Magic Suppression bracelets on her but I was dismissed after that. The council members walked out and when I checked the room this was all that was left. I don't know where Syra went. I am however, Certain that the council had something to do with it. They avoided answering me when I asked where Syra was. " Yajima sighed softly as a panicked look descended over Levy's face.
The Tower Of Heaven is dealt with and Jellal's plan fails.
After seeing the Magic Council concerning her actions, Syra disappears.
