A Dragon's Call
Chapter 9
" What are we going to do?! " Levy spoke in a flustered tone of voice as panic quickly overtook her.
" For now there is nothing we can do. We will start looking for answers soon but right now I need everyone to help out with some renovations to the Guild Hall. The repairs are still not fully complete so I want to make some changes to try and... Well... Improve Fairy Tails reputation. I need everyone to help out. " Makarov spoke calmly and grinned as everyone nodded. After a moment, Laxus stood and spoke gruffly.
" Not interested. I'm outta here. " Laxus walked out of the Guild Hall in silence as everyone watched him leave with looks of shock on their faces.
Two Weeks Later
Laxus was walking through a town a few days away from Magnolia Town. As he walked, Laxus overheard a group of men laughing and caught a small part of their conversation.
" Look at this! Those idiots are hopeless! "
" Fairy Tail is such a joke. They should be disbanded. "
" It's insulting to other mages watching the morons behave like this. "
" Yeah. They... Wait a minute... That... That's Laxus Dreyar! RUN! "
As the group of men fled, One of them dropped the magazine they had been reading. After picking it up and reading the article about Fairy Tail, Laxus growled in irritation before speaking as he looked at the pictures of the renovated Guild Hall. " That fool! Makarov is making Fairy Tail a joke! As if the guild didn't have a bad enough reputation. He will pay for this. "
As Laxus groaned and walked into a nearby bar, A man he recognised sat at the bar looking toward him. After a moment, Laxus felt irritation well up inside and walked over as he spoke gruffly. " You want something punk? If staring is all your gonna do then this is gonna be a real short conversation. "
" Says the son of an imbecile that let's his supposed "children" do whatever they please. What is it like Laxus? Being the underrated grandson of Makarov Dreyar? What is it like to live in his shadow? To be just a footnote in the history of your family. Oh but don't worry, Makarov is just as much a joke as you are. Look at what he has allowed your guild to become. " Zato laughed as the barman spoke.
" Don't make trouble in here. Take it outside. " The barman had a disgruntled look on his face as Zato laughed again.
" Fight him? Fighting anyone from Fairy Tail would be a total waste of time. That guild and everyone in it are worthless. " Zato grinned as Laxus huffed.
" Considering I have never even heard your name, Whatever sad little guild you are in mustn't be anything more than a bunch of wannabes. " Laxus grinned as a look of irritation appeared on Zato's face.
" That is because, Unlike that bunch of clown's in Fairy Tail, My guild works in the background. " Zato grinned proudly as the bartender spoke again.
" Don't pick a fight. Take this outside. Ruining my bar ain't gonna solve anything. " The bartender had an irritated look on his face as Laxus chuckled.
" You talk big for a punk. Do you want to die little bug? Should we step outside and answer that question? " Laxus grinned menacingly as lightning began arching off of him.
" The only one going outside is you. " Zato laughed as Laxus was launched off his feet and thrown through the front wall of the bar and landed on the ground outside. As he stood up, Zato walked outside as he spoke.
" What a weakling! Fairy Tail is full of completely worthless weaklings! You can't even fight back against me! " As Zato laughed again, Lightning erupted from the ground beneath him and engulfed him. After a few moments, The lightning receded and Zato fell to the ground, Unconscious.
" Pathetic rat. People like you looking down on my guild is insulting. This will all change soon. " Laxus huffed before turning and walking away as Zato groaned painfully while the people around looked between Laxus and Zato with shock on their faces.
Meanwhile
" Gajeel! That contract is mine! I got it first! " Lucy spoke with irritation as Gajeel walked away.
" And now it's mine. See ya. " Gajeel smirked before walking away as Lucy groaned and walked in the opposite direction. As Gajeel walked, An unfamiliar voice called to him. As Gajeel turned, He saw two men that he didn't recognise.
" Your the asshole that attacked Levy while we were away. What makes you think we will let you stay in Fairy Tail now? " A man wearing a high collared purple shirt with an open, Light brown, Fur trimmed coat, Matching top hat, Long black pants and a belt with a large silver buckle on it spoke.
" Who the hell are you two? " Gajeel looked between the two as the second man spoke.
" I am Droy. This is Jet. We are part of a team with Levy called Shadow Gear. The two of us will make you pay for what you did to her. " Droy spoke fiercely but both he and Jet froze as a familiar voice came from behind them.
" Jet? Droy? Where have you two been? I haven't seen you in ages! " Levy smiled brightly as she ran over and greeted them as Jet and Droy descended into looks of adoration.
" Makarov sent us on a job. Sorry we couldn't take you along. We would love to catch up but we have some punishment to deal out. " Jet turned back to face Gajeel as Droy spoke.
" This guy needs to pay for what he did. It makes me so angry that you just up and join the guild you tried to destroy. " Droy had a look of disgust on his face as Jet spoke.
" High Speed: Falcon Heavenward! " Jet spoke clearly before lunging forward and kicking Gajeel in the stomach. As Gajeel groaned softly, Droy spoke.
" Plant Magic: Knuckle Plant! " Droy took a handful of seeds out of a small pouch on his belt and threw them onto the ground. After a moment, The seeds burst open and vines quickly grew before forming fists and repeatedly pummelling Gajeel as Levy spoke.
" Guys stop it! He is one of us! " Levy spoke loudly but Jet and Droy ignored her as they continued attacking Gajeel. After several moments, Jet and Droy stopped attacking and panted softly before Jet spoke.
" Fight back! Why aren't you at least defending yourself?! " Jet spoke with irritation in his voice before Gajeel sighed and spoke.
" I am a member of Fairy Tail. What's the point in fighting my own guild mates? " Gajeel spoke calmly as Jet and Droy looked taken aback. As they motioned to talk, Jet and Droy fell silent as Laxus voice caught them by surprise.
" You are not a member of Fairy Tail. You are one of the reasons Fairy Tails reputation has become so bad. Because of that, I will make you pay! " Laxus lunged forward and began slamming punches loaded with lightning that arced off his fists into Gajeel as Levy, Jet and Droy seized his arms to try and stop him.
After throwing them off, Laxus turned to face them as lightning arced around him. " You are getting in my way. " Laxus slowly raised his arm before levelling it toward Levy, Jet and Droy as a bolt of lightning surged toward them. Before it hit them, Gajeel stepped in front of them and took the hit, Causing the three of them to look at him with shock and surprise as Gajeel spoke.
" I have more important things to do than deal with your tantrum Laxus. I'm out. " Gajeel huffed impatiently before leaving as a look of anger and frustration appeared on Laxus face as he turned and walked away as he spoke quietly.
" Fairy Tail will be mine. My guild's reputation will be much better once I take over. Makarov's reign is at it's end. " Laxus sighed impatiently as he walked away, Leaving Levy, Jet and Droy sitting in the street with looks of shock on their faces.
Meanwhile
" WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING IN MY BED?! " Lucy yelled as she fell out of bed and looked toward her bed where Natsu and Happy were bundled up under the covers contently.
" We came to tell you about a contest that is gonna happen during the festival but you weren't home so we decided to take a nap. " Natsu spoke sleepily before yawning and handing Lucy a flyer.
" Miss Fairy Tail? What is it? " Lucy looked at Natsu as he answered.
" Some girly contest. There's a big cash reward for the winner. Mirajane, Erza, Cana, Levy, Bisca and Juvia are all entering. You should too. You need the money for rent right? " Natsu yawned again as Lucy smiled.
" Thanks Natsu. But can you do me a favour? " Lucy smiled as Natsu nodded.
" GET OUT OF MY APARTMENT! " Lucy yelled before kicking Natsu and Happy out of the open window and closing it.
" Wow... What's her issue... " Natsu scratched his head as Happy shrugged before they walked back toward the Guild Hall.
Elsewhere
" Now that this is dealt with, We should get back. Laxus has a job for us. " A feminine voice drowned out the soft, Painful groans of people laying around the area.
" This was such a waste of time. This Dark Guild barely put up a fight. " A man spoke in a frustrated tone of voice before a second man spoke.
" Doesn't matter. It's dealt with. What job does Laxus want us to do? " The second man spoke calmly as the woman huffed.
" He will tell us when we get back. Let's go. " The woman spoke softly before three left and headed toward Magnolia Town.
Magnolia Town
" Are the preparations for the parade complete? " Makarov spoke calmly as people busied themselves setting things up for the festival.
" Almost. There are a few things left to do. By the way, Levy said that Laxus is in town. It would be good for him to take part. If I see him I will ask him if he would like to come along. " Mirajane smiled sweetly before walking away as Makarov thought about Laxus when he was a boy, Wondering what changed him into the man he now was.
A Few Days Later
" Elfman being here I totally understand... " Gray spoke softly as he turned to face Natsu. " But why the hell did you come along? "
" Because he is a man! " Elfman spoke heartily as Natsu ignored Gray and continued chomping on the cooked chunk of meat he had in front of him as Happy chewed on a fish. As Gray motioned to speak, A voice emanated from the large sound system surrounding the stage, Causing them all to look toward the stage.
" Ladies and Gentleman! On behalf of Fairy Tail I would like to thank you for coming along to the Miss Fairy Tail Contest! I am Max Alors and I will be your announcer for this event. To get things started, Allow me to introduce our first contestant, The card wielding mistress that will drink you under the table any day of the week, Cana Alberona! " Max spoke enthusiastically as Cana walked onto stage wearing her usual outfit. As she stopped walking, Cana grinned mischievously as she held up a deck of cards on the palm of her hand. As the crowd watched, Cana's cards surrounded her in a vortex as her body glowed brightly. As the glow faded, The crowd sighed in admiration at the sight of Cana now wearing a tight bikini. After a moment, Cana winked playfully and walked to the side of the stage and stood patiently as Max spoke again.
" Our next contestant is the mysterious woman of water, Juvia Lockser! " Max stepped out of the way as Juvia walked onto stage wearing her normal blue coat and hat.
" Juvia hopes her love reaches you Gray! Water Bubbles! " Juvia smiled playfully and blushed lightly as an irritated look appeared on Gray's face as Natsu roared with laughter while softly glowing bubbles surrounded Juvia as her body glowed brightly. After the glow faded, The crowd sighed loudly as Gray blushed lightly as a trickle of blood left his nose at the sight of Juvia wearing a tight, Form fitting, Ocean blue bikini. As Juvia blushed brightly and walked over to stand next to Cana, Gray wiped his nose and looked away in a huff as Max spoke.
" What wonderful displays we have so far! Next up is the ever lovely and sweeter than sugar, Mirajane Strauss! " Max once again stepped out of the way as Mirajane walked onto the stage in a long frilly edged dress as she spoke.
" I'm going to use transformation magic. Let's see... " Mirajane thought for a moment before a puff of smoke clouded her head. After a moment, The smoke cleared and Happy's face smiled at the crowd as they groaned disappointingly. " This is my Happy face! " Mirajane made a series of silly faces as Happy rolled around the table laughing so hard that he was crying as Natsu spat a mouthful of meat onto the table in shock before grinning while looks of disbelief and shock etched onto Gray and Elfman's faces as Mirajane spoke again. " And this... " Another puff of smoke surrounded her before clearing to show her head now mimicking Gajeel's. " Is my Gajeel face! " Mirajane smiled as Natsu roared with laughter and Gajeel spat the mouthful of drink he had all over the table in front of him. After a few moments, Mirajane returned her face to normal and smiled sweetly before walking to the side as Max spoke.
" That... Was certainly something... Onto our next contestant! The ever strong and courageous Queen Of The Fairies, Please welcome to the stage, The one and only Titania, Erza Scarlet! " Max moved out of the way as Erza fell onto the stage as a row of flames erupted behind her for a moment as she stood slowly, Her now restored Heart Kruez armour glinting in the stage lights as she spoke sternly.
" Requip! " As Erza grinned, A pink vortex of energy erupted around her before fading to reveal Erza standing stage in a black, Lacy, Gothic Lolita dress. After making a cute pose and blushing as Mirajane's nose bled and she fell over from the shock, The crowd cheered happily as Elfman, Gray, Natsu, Gajeel and several other members of Fairy Tail coughed and spluttered as they spat mouthfuls of drink everywhere at the sight of Erza being adorable. After a moment of staring at Erza looking like his eyes would explode out of his head, Max shook off his surprise and spoke nervously for a moment.
" We sure weren't expecting so much cuteness from Erza were we? What a wonderful surprise! Now then, Our next contestant, You know and love her! The ever lovely and always helpful genius of translation and word manipulation, Our very own Levy McGarden! " Max stepped aside as Levy walked onto stage wearing the outfit that Syra bought for her as Amelia and Natalie quietly sneaked to the front of the stage and started sending small balls of their magic into the air, Causing small firework explosions to appear in front of Levy as she stepped forward and spoke.
" Hello everyone. I am going to show you my Solid Script magic! Solid Script: Word Wall! " Levy smiled brightly as a flurry of various words surrounded her before exploding into the substances they contained, A small tornado swirled around her as butterflies flew among the members of the ground and a torrent of water exploded into tiny water droplets before being sucked into the tornado as a burst of flame turned the tornado of air and water into an humongous cloud of steam that dissipated to show Levy smiling brightly as Amelia and Natalie cheered loudly as the crowd stared at Levy in awe as she walked to the side and stood next to Erza as Max spoke once again.
" A magnificent display by the lovely Levy! " Max grinned and paused for a moment as the crowd applauded and Gajeel leant forward to whisper in Elfman's ear.
" I see why Syra likes her. " Gajeel grinned but looked shocked as Elfman spoke loudly.
" Indeed! How very MANLY! " Elfman stood rapidly and flexed his muscles as an irritated look appeared on Gajeel's face.
" Keep it down idiot! Preferably before she realises we were talki... " Gajeel froze as he looked toward Levy, Who was glaring in his direction with an embarrassed look on her face as Gajeel sat down and looked away innocently as if he had not done anything while Max continued.
" Our next contestant is the bullet bending, Sharp shooting sensation, Bisca Mulan! " Max stepped aside, Revealing Bisca wearing her signature cowgirl hat and a tight leather bikini that had small leather tassels along the bottom of the bra and the waistline of the panties as she smiled and spoke clearly.
" Pay attention boys. " Bisca smiled as she held up four coins before tossing them into the air as she spoke. " Now Requip: The Gunner! " As she fired, The crowd went silent as the four coins aligned perfectly and the bullet passed through the perfect centre of each coin, Leaving a flawless hole in each one. " Yeehaw! " Bisca grinned happily as she caught the coins between her fingers and held them up as the crowd cheered before she walked aside while Max spoke enthusiastically.
" What magnificent marksmanship! How will our final contestant top that?! " Max smiled as Lucy shot him an irritated look, Which he failed to notice as he continued. " Please welcome to the stage the beautiful blonde that is as enchanting as the spirits she summons, Lucy Hea..." Max fell silent as Lucy rushed onto the stage.
" NO! Don't say my last name! " Lucy shot Max a disapproving look as he stepped to the side while Lucy thought to herself. " I don't want them hearing my last name in a contest. They would tell me to get off the stage because I don't need the money... " Lucy looked nervous for a moment as the crowd sighed softly at the sight of her pale blue cheerleader outfit. " Hey everyone... Uhm... My Celestial Spirits and I are going to do a cheer routine for you! "
As everyone cheered, Lucy motioned to start as a feminine voice originated behind her.
" The eighth contestant... " The woman spoke softly as Lucy waved her arms around with an irritated look on her face.
" I DIDN'T EVEN START YET! " Lucy turned to look toward the woman who spoke as she continued.
" …Is the true Queen Of The Fairies and the most beautiful woman in Fairy Tail so naturally the contest prize goes to me, The gorgeous Evergreen! " Evergreen smiled maliciously at Lucy, Who began turning to stone as Evergreen turned her head to look at the other girls who quickly turned to stone as well. As the crowd motioned to react, Laxus and the other members of the Thunder God Tribe, Freed and Bickslow, Walked onto stage with malicious smiles on their faces as Laxus spoke.
" Here is what is going to happen. These girls are all hostages. We are going to play a game. " Laxus grinned as he draped his arm around Lucy and kissed her forehead gently before continuing. " If anyone breaks the rules of my game, The girls will all die. If anyone tries to avoid playing, The girls will all die. The rules are simple, Everyone is going to fight each other to decide who is the strongest in Fairy Tail. "
" Aah hell yeah! I'm getting fired up! " Natsu stood rapidly and charged toward Laxus as his hands burst into flame. Before Natsu could reach Laxus, A lightning bolt exploded toward him, Knocking him unconscious. As everyone else looked toward Natsu's unconscious body, Evergreen spoke.
" It is quite simple. All of our fellow Fairy Tail Mages must find and defeat both Laxus and we, The Thunder God Tribe, In three hours or the girls will crumble to ash. Our battlefield is all of Magnolia Town. Good luck fools! "Evergreen smiled before vanishing along with Laxus, Freed and Bickslow. After a moment, Makarov spoke.
" Don't stand around gawking! Get out there and find those insolent brats! " Makarov spoke clearly before everyone rushed out of the Guild Hall. As Makarov rushed to leave, He groaned as he slammed into an invisible wall and fell backwards. " Dammit. Freed must have enchanted the building. "
" Why are they doing this Master? " Reedus spoke nervously as Makarov looked at him slowly.
" Why are you... Nevermind. Go to the eastern forest and find Porlyusica. She might have a cure for the girls petrification. And tell her to hurry! " Makarov groaned as Reedus hurried out of the Guild Hall. As Reedus left, Natsu groaned and stood up slowly.
" Damn Laxus. I'm gonna fry his electric ass! " Natsu growled irritably as Makarov spoke.
" Then stop talking and go do it! " Makarov looked irritated as Natsu grinned and ran toward the door. Before he could react, Makarov's face descended into shock as Natsu slammed into the same barrier he had.
" WHAT?! " Natsu looked up in shock and frustration. " WHY AM I STUCK HERE?! I'M NOT SOME OLD GEEZER! " Natsu growled as Makarov shot him a look of disapproval.
Meanwhile
" What the hell are you talking about? We can handle this as a team! " Droy spoke nervously as Alzack walked toward them.
" I have no time for that. I am more efficient on my own... And with Bisca... Sorry guys. " Before Jet and Dory could react, Alzack lunged into the air and pulled out his guns. " Guns Magic: Spark Shot! " As the guns fired, A look of shock appeared on Jet and Droy's faces before they fell to the ground. As Alzack left the area, Jet and Droy groaned painfully.
Elsewhere
Laxus stood patiently in a small alleyway as Evergreen's voice filled his ears.
" Alzack defeated Jet and Droy. He is heading toward Freed. " Evergreen's voice faded as Laxus smiled contently.
Guild Hall
" More than half of Fairy Tail has been defeated by other members. Soon there won't be anyone left to oppose us. Your time is over Makarov. " Evergreen's voice echoed through the Guild Hall as a look of shock appeared on Makarov's face.
" What the hell is she talking about?! " Natsu spoke in shock as Evergreen's voice faded.
" It seems that to reach the members of the Thunder God Tribe, Everyone will have to fight each other at some point or another. " Makarov spoke disapprovingly as Natsu yelled in frustration and rushed at the barrier again. As Makarov sighed, He looked past Natsu to Magnolia Town that was now filled with members of Fairy Tail fighting each other.
Meanwhile
" No! Why can't I leave?! " Reedus slammed his hands against a barrier at the edge of Magnolia town but quickly fell silent and froze as a familiar voice filled his ears.
" It simply wouldn't be fitting to let you just leave. That is against the rules. " Freed spoke calmly as he drew his sword and walked toward Reedus.
Guild Hall
" Damn it all. What could have motivated Laxus to do this... " Makarov spoke calmly but fell silent as a Thought Projection appeared in front of him.
" I was wondering when you were going to ask that old man. " Laxus spoke calmly before grinning as Makarov shot him a disapproving look.
" What the hell do you think your doing? You wouldn't kill Lucy or any of the other girls! They are your friends! " Natsu spoke angrily and growled as Laxus laughed loudly.
" You actually think that I am bluffing? With you and Erza out of the way, No one in Fairy Tail can stand up to me or the Thunder God Tribe. Accept it, you have already lost. " Laxus grinned maliciously as Natsu growled.
" Don't count on it! Gray is still fighting! You shouldn't underestimate him. " Natsu grinned but fell silent as a projection of Gray fighting against Bickslow appeared beside Laxus.
" Pay attention. Let this show you just how foolish it is to fight us. " As Laxus laughed, Natsu glared at him as his hands erupted into flame.
A Shop Near The Guild Hall
" Why are you idiots doing this?! You are members of our guild! " Gray dodged one of Bickslow's attacks as he spoke.
" If you haven't already figured it out, You are a bigger idiot than I thought. You cannot defeat me. I can freely change the containers for the souls I use. Good luck dealing with them. " Bickslow grinned before running out of the shop as Gray growled and chased after him, Dodging the attacks of the dolls Bickslow left behind. As Gray rushed through the streets, He saw Bickslow turn down an alleyway ahead of him. As Gray turned down the alleyway, Bickslow laughed.
" How predictable. " Bickslow grinned as Gray spoke.
" Predict this! Ice Make... " Gray fell silent as nothing happened and Bickslow laughed loudly as his dolls appeared and prepared to attack.
" Time for you to fall. " Bickslow smiled but groaned as Gray rushed forward and punched him in the face.
" I can fight without my magic. Bring it! " Gray grinned as Bickslow growled. As Gray smirked and attempted to throw another punch, The dolls attacked all at once, Causing Gray to take a huge amount of damage before getting thrown backwards, Unconscious.
Guild Hall
" That's so pathetic! He didn't even put up a solid fight! " Laxus roared with laughter as Natsu growled and Makarov spoke.
" Alright Laxus. I surrender. End this pointless fighting. " Makarov spoke coolly but looked shocked as Laxus spoke.
" Certainly. Just as soon as you announce to the entire guild using the loudspeaker that you are resigning and naming me the new Guild Master. You only have an hour and a half to do so. Better get to it old man. " Laxus once again laughed as Natsu rushed forward and threw a punch, Causing the Thought Projection to disappear.
" Don't listen to that idiot Master. " Natsu growled but fell silent as Makarov spoke.
" If it were anyone else I would have no problem doing what he asked. But I cannot trust the Guild to Laxus. " Makarov sighed softly as a metallic crunching sound filled the Guild Hall. As they looked toward the bar, Makarov and Natsu saw Gajeel with a pile of metal in front of him.
" Sit here and wait. I'll handle Laxus. " Gajeel stood before shoving a handful of metal into his mouth and walking toward the door. As he was about to step outside, Gajeel slammed into the barrier, Forcing him to spit the metal he was chewing out and falling backwards as Natsu roared with laughter. As Makarov sighed, He turned to look at the projection of the fighting Laxus had left behind and gasped as he saw Evergreen sitting atop a pile of defeated Fairy Tail members with a coy grin on her face.
Meanwhile
" I expected more from Fairy Tail members. I don't have weaklings for comrades in the Thunder God Tribe. So far your efforts are disappointing. " Bickslow sneered before walking away from Nab Lasaro and Laki Olietta, Who lay on the ground, Groaning in pain.
Elsewhere
" Damn them. I am running out of time... " Alzack walked slowly through the streets, His movement impaired by injuries he had suffered fighting other members of Fairy Tail.
" How right you are. " Freed spoke as he appeared in front of Alzack, Blocking his way forward.
As he growled, an angry look appeared on Alzack's face as he drew his guns and levelled them toward Freed before speaking. " Guns Magic: Tornado Shot! " As the guns fired, Freed grinned as he drew his sword. Before the swirling tornadoes from Alzack's attack could reach him, Freed cut through the attack and spoke calmly.
" A sad attempt. Now it is time for your efforts against me to end. " Freed smiled as a choking sound filled his ears and Alzack fell to the ground, Unconscious. " One of my barriers. Using magic inside it deprives you of oxygen. Pity you weren't paying attention. " Freed smiled as he walked away, Leaving Alzack in the street.
Guild Hall
" You and Gajeel are the only ones left... " Makarov sighed softly as Natsu grinned.
" Then lets wake Erza up! I'll make her wake up with my fire! " Natsu breathed in as Gajeel and Makarov looked toward him in shock. " Fire Dragon's Roar! "
Natsu's fire barrelled toward Erza and completely engulfed her for a few moments. As the flames receded, A small crack appeared on Erza's face, Revealing a small patch of burnt skin. As Natsu walked toward her, Erza exploded out of the stone she was encased him and punched him as an irritated look appeared on her face.
" Don't burn me next time you idiot! " Erza spoke irritably as Natsu rubbed his head gently.
" How is this possible? " Makarov looked toward Erza who smiled and spoke coolly.
" My magical eye absorbed half the magic used against me. The effect was greatly weakened. " Erza smiled as Makarov sighed in relief before a voice startled him.

As Erza ran through Magnolia Town, A feminine voice made her stop and look around rapidly as she equipped her swords.
" How did you get out of the stone?! No matter. You are but an inconvenience. Calling yourself Titania is insulting. I am the true Queen Of The Fairies! " Evergreen's voice filled the area before an attack made Erza lunge into a nearby alleyway as she spoke.
" Just because you use Fairy Magic doesn't make you a Queen and doesn't make you better than anyone else Evergreen. Stop this! " Erza noticed Evergreen standing atop a building across the street and ran forward before deflecting an attack and swinging her swords toward Evergreen, Forcing her to dodge.
" FOOL! Fairy Machine Gun: Leprechaun! " Evergreen spoke as a torrent of glowing needles erupted from her and flew at Erza as she dodged.
" Stop this Evergreen! We shouldn't be fighting each other! Fairy Tail is a family! " Erza spoke pleadingly but sighed as Evergreen laughed.
" I have the upper hand! You cannot defeat me! " Evergreen grinned but gasped as Erza lunged toward her as a second pair of swords appeared, Gripped by Erza's toes. Before Evergreen could react, Erza's swords pierced the cloth of her sleeves and pants, Forcing her backward and pinning her against the wall of a tall building behind her. As Erza motioned to speak, Evergreen laughed.
" You idiot! I used my Stone Eyes on your precious friends. I can kill them remotely if I want to! Even if I fall you still lose! " Evergreen laughed before speaking maliciously. " You should throw down your weapons and shed your armour and clothing! Walk before me naked as the false Queen you are and show everyone your shame! " Evergreen laughed loudly as Erza's face descended into a mix of shock and disgust before she spoke calmly.
" Requip: Heaven's Wheel! " Erza's body glowed for a moment as she changed into her Heaven's Wheel armour and spoke as a large number of various weapons appeared around her.
" You might kill my friends... But I will avenge them! I will make you suffer to the death for what you have done! " Erza had an enraged look on her face as Evergreen's face changed to a look of fear as Erza closed her fist and raised it menacingly.

" I hate just sitting around. I'm bored. " Natsu spoke with disappointment but gasped as something hit him over the head.
" At least you weren't trapped in stone idiot! " Lucy spoke angrily with an irritated look on her face as Makarov and Gajeel grinned happily at the sight of the girls returning to normal. " What's going on? "
" Laxus and his cronies turned you girls to stone and are trying to take over the guild. " Natsu spoke with irritation before Lucy spoke with disbelief.
" Laxus wouldn't do that! Laxus would never attack me! He... He wouldn't... " Lucy bit her lip as tears built up in her eyes as Levy spoke.
" I... I wouldn't be so sure Lucy... He attacked me... Gajeel saved me. " Levy sighed softly as Gajeel nodded.
" But why?! Why would he do this?! " Lucy fell to her knees and cried heavily as Natsu petted her head gently.
" I'll make him pay for this. I'll make him pay for making you cry Lucy. " Natsu had a ferocious look on his face as Lucy looked up at him with sadness on her face.

" Evergreen you fool! How did you lose to her! " Laxus growled angrily as Freed appeared and spoke.
" Bickslow or I should have fought Erza. Evergreen was no match for her. The game is over. The hostages have been released. " Freed sighed softly but gasped as Laxus glared toward him angrily.
" COWARD! " Laxus levelled his arm at Freed as a lightning bolt struck him, Causing Freed to fall to his knees. " The game is not over until I say so! Don't chicken out now! "
Guild Hall
" I was worried we were going to be stuck like that forever. " Mirajane spoke with relief as Lucy nodded in agreement as everyone started to relax a bit. As they started to think it was over, Everyone was startled by a Thought Projection of Laxus appearing in the middle of the Guild Hall.
" Don't think you fools have won. This game isn't over. I have activated Thunder Palace. You have one hour and ten minutes to prevent it. " Laxus laughed before disappearing as Makarov groaned and fell over.
" Master! " Mirajane ran over to Makarov before helping him to the Medical Room. After placing Makarov in bed and giving him some medicine Porlyusica left in the room, Mirajane walked back to the others and explained what was going on.
" Master has fallen ill. We should handle Laxus and his plan quickly so we can take him to Porlyusica. " Mirajane spoke softly as Natsu groaned and spoke.
" What's this Thunder Palace thing?" Natsu looked toward Mirajane as she sighed and spoke.
" It's an enormous amount of lightning filled Lacrima Orbs. It is capable of creating a massive lightning storm capable of destroying all of Magnolia Town. " Mirajane sighed softly as Bisca spoke.
" Then lets take them down! Requip: The Gunner! " Bisca's sniper rifle appeared and before anyone could react, She aimed at one of the orbs and opened fire. As it shattered, The orb fired a lightning bolt at Bisca, Electrifying her as she screamed. As the lightning faded, Bisca fell to the ground, Unconscious.
" The Lacrima must have some kind of Organic Link Magic on them. If we destroy them, They deal the damage back at us! " Mirajane spoke nervously as Natsu growled and shouted.
" LAXUS! Knock it off already! " Natsu spoke angrily as the Thought Projection of Laxus laughed and spoke.
" This is a battle idiot. It only ends once one side is annihilated. " Laxus laughed as the Thought Projection disappeared again and Levy ran over with Amelia and Natalie in tow.
" I just realised something guys! Freed's magic is written! " Levy looked at the others excitedly but sighed as they looked at her with confused expressions. After sighing, Levy spoke again. " Because it is written I might be able to find a way to nullify the barriers! "
" Alright! You see if you can figure out the barriers, The rest of us will handle anyone who shows up to try stop you. " Natsu grinned as Levy nodded.
" While you do that, Happy and I will figure out how to evacuate the citizens without causing panic. " Lucy grinned before dragging Happy out of the Guild Hall.

" Cana and Juvia are searching for us. Deal with them Freed. " Laxus spoke irritably before Freed sighed.
" Shouldn't I deal with Erza? " Freed spoke disapprovingly but quickly left to handle Juvia and Cana as Laxus shot him a ferocious look.

" Take me to Laxus. " Erza spoke forcefully as Evergreen slowly sat up after the beating she received had knocked her unconscious.
" Like hell I will! " Evergreen turned away in a huff but gasped softly as Erza seized the front of her top and spoke forcefully.
" Take me to him or we can start over and try again the next time you wake up. " Erza glared at Evergreen menacingly as beads of sweat trickled down her face.
" A... Alright... Follow me... " Evergreen stood and walked away as a sly grin appeared on her face. After a few minutes, They were standing outside a building that had a red awning over the doorway. " Laxus is in there. "
Erza equipped her swords before rushing and speaking loudly. " Surrender Laxus! "
After a few moments of silence, Erza screamed and ran out of the building before breathing nervously as Evergreen laughed.

" So how are we going to evacuate the citizens? " Lucy thought for a moment as Happy shrugged. As Lucy was about to speak, Lucy noticed several beams barrelling toward her. As they were about to hit her, Happy picked her up and flew her out of the way.
" Lucky. That cat is faster than he looks. But he cannot save you a second time. I wonder though... What exactly can an adorable little cosplayer like you do against me? " Bickslow spoke fiercely as he appeared atop a building across the street from where Lucy was standing. As Lucy turned to face him, She took a key out of her pouch and spoke.
" Open: Gate Of The Archer: Sagittarius! " Lucy smiled as Sagittarius appeared but had an irritated look on her face as Bickslow laughed and spoke.
" Ha! A cosplayer that summons more cosplayers! You cosplayers multiply like rabbits don't you?! " Bickslow roared with laughter as Lucy spoke with an irritated look on her face.
" Shoot down those dolls Sagittarius! " Lucy turned her head to look at Sagittarius as he saluted and drew arrows from the quiver on his back.
" No target can avoid my arrows... " Sagittarius spoke confidently as he drew his bow and fired arrows at each of the dolls. As each doll fell from the sky, Bickslow spoke.
" No! My dolls! " Bickslow grinned before speaking again. " How fortunate that I stand upon a toy store. " Bickslow laughed as the door of the building he was standing on burst open and a new group of dolls ran out before attacking Sagittarius with beams of energy. As the beams faded, Sagittarius groaned softly before disappearing.
" No! Sagittarius! " Lucy gasped as the dolls rushed toward her and snatched the pouch of keys off her belt before falling back and waving the pouch in the air as if to tease Lucy.
" Now you are powerless against me. What will you do without your precious keys? " Bickslow laughed as Lucy looked up at him nervously. " Baryon Formation! "
Lucy watched as the five toys formed a circle and rapidly started spinning. Before she could react, A huge green beam of energy fired toward her. As it was about to hit, Lucy felt someone lift her off the ground and looked up to see Loke carrying her. " Loke! "
" You didn't think I would stand by and do nothing did you? Have you forgotten that I can open my own gate? " Loke smiled as he put Lucy down and turned to face Bickslow. " How dare you. That is no way to treat my beloved Lucy. "
" I had a feeling that you might show up. I always knew what you really were Loke. Let's see whether or not you have lost your touch! " Bickslow grinned as he raised his arms, Causing the dolls to fire beams at Lucy and Loke. After dodging, Lucy ran toward Bickslow, Before realising that Happy was carrying her. After smiling to Happy, Lucy took her whip off her belt and swung it. Before he noticed Lucy, Her whip hit Bickslow across the face, Causing him to stagger away from her slightly.
" That was foolish. Now you are mine! My figure eyes will make you my slaves! " Bickslow turned to face Lucy as he took off his visor.
" Close your eyes Happy! " Lucy shut her eyes as Happy nodded and closed his eyes tightly.
" Fools. " Bickslow smiled as his dolls fired beams at Lucy and Happy. After taking the hit, Lucy slid along the ground before getting up slowly as Loke spoke.
" You should send me away! Summon Horologium! He will keep you safe. " Loke looked at Lucy as he spoke with urgency in his voice.
" I don't have my keys... Besides, I trust you Loke. We can take him together. " Lucy smiled as Loke blushed lightly before turning to Bickslow.
" Regulus: Lion Brilliance! " Loke's body began glowing before a bright light erupted out of him, Forcing Bickslow to close his and groan painfully. " Now Lucy! Use your whip! "
Lucy nodded and swung her whip toward Bickslow, Wrapping it around his neck as Loke raised his hand into the air as he spoke. " Regulus Impact! " As Loke levelled his hand toward Bickslow, A massive, Glowing lion head barrelled toward Bickslow, Engulfing him in bright light. As the light faded, Bickslow groaned painfully before falling unconscious.
" We did it! " Lucy jumped up and down excitedly as Loke smiled.
" You empowered me with your love Lucy. We are a great team. " Loke smiled as he raised his hand above his head as multicoloured words appeared above him, Spelling I Love Lucy in massive letters. Before disappearing, Loke picked up Lucy's pouch of keys and handed it to her with an affectionate smile.
" Man... I am so tired... " Lucy sat down and leant against the wall of the building as Happy spoke.
" Aye. Summoning two spirits must be tough. Lucy should eat some fatty food to get her energy back. But not too much or Lucy will get fat too. A big fat Lucy burger! With fish! A big fat Lucy and fishy burger! " Happy drooled slightly as Lucy stood rapidly and kicked him as she spoke.
" I'll turn you into a burger you little shit! " Lucy turned away in a huff before sitting back down and ignoring Happy as he groaned painfully.

" She is pretty tough you know. You shouldn't underestimate Lucy. " Natsu grinned but had an irritated look on his face as Gajeel spoke.
" Says the dumb punk who sneaks into her apartment! How the hell is she that tough? " Gajeel spoke as Natsu look at him in irritation.
" What do you mean how is she that tough?! Haven't you heard the story of the tortoise and the cheerleader?! " Natsu growled as Gajeel looked at him in frustration.
" It's was a hare you moron and the dumb bunny lost remember? " Gajeel spoke irritably as Natsu growled.
" Well yeah the first time but it won the next six hundred races hands down! " Natsu smirked as Gajeel looked puzzled.
" Oh... Well... I guess that speedy varmint learned it's lesson then huh? " Gajeel smirked as Levy spoke loudly.
" That's it! I've got it! The barrier is down guys! " Levy smiled happily as Natsu and Gajeel grinned before rushing out of the Guild Hall with looks of determination on their faces. After Gajeel and Natsu left, Mirajane rushed out of the hall. After a few minutes running through town, Mirajane found Elfman among the injured Fairy Tail members that Evergreen had defeated.
" Elfman! I am so sorry! Please forgive me... " Mirajane cried softly as she helped Elfman to his feet as he spoke.
" For what? " Elfman looked toward Mirajane weakly as he groaned from the pain of his injuries.
" I never fought alongside you or the others. I have always stayed behind. I should have tried harder. " Mirajane cried softly as Elfman smiled.
" Coming home from battle to see your smile is enough. " Elfman grinned happily as Mirajane hugged him tenderly.

" We have been looking for ages. I don't think we are gonna find Laxus anytime soon. " Cana spoke softly as Juvia sighed softly.
" Juvia thinks we should find Gray. He might be hurt or in trouble... Juvia's love might need her help... " Juvia bit her lip as tears started to build up in her eyes. As Cana was about to speak, Freed's voice made them turn to face him.
" You have other problems to worry about. " Freed grinned before turning and running as Cana and Juvia ran after him. After a few minutes, Juvia and Cana slammed into a barrier as Freed laughed.
" This barrier will keep the two of you contained. Until one of you is unable to fight you are both trapped. " Freed smiled as Juvia spoke softly.
" Juvia won't let you have your way! Juvia will not attack her friends ever again! " As Juvia's body turned into water and rushed toward the Lacrima in the sky above, Freed watched with a look of shock as the Lacrima shattered and Juvia fell to the ground, severely injured as the barrier disappeared.
" Juvia! What the hell were you thinking?! " Cana knelt beside Juvia and held her head gently as Juvia spoke.
" Juvia didn't want to hurt a precious comrade. Juvia wants to be acknowledged as a member of Fairy Tail... " Juvia smiled as tears built up in Cana's eyes.
" You are a member of Fairy Tail Juvia. Rest now. I'll handle this jackass. " Cana petted Juvia's head gently as Juvia sighed exhaustively before falling unconscious as Cana turned to face Freed with a look of rage on her face as tears streamed down her cheeks. " YOU WILL REGRET THAT FREED! "

" Where the hell is that bastard? And where the hell did Gajeel go? Whatever. " Natsu wander aimlessly around Magnolia Town looking for Laxus as Gajeel watched from an alleyway before walking away from the street as he took a small paper doll out of his pocket.
" You listening Master Ivan? " Gajeel spoke calmly as a deeper voice emanated from the doll.
" I am always listening Gajeel. Report. "
" As much as I wanna settle things with Salamander, That lightning moron is being a real pain in my ass so he is my priority for now. I'll work on getting close to Fairy Tails Master after he is dealt with. If that's alright by you. " Gajeel spoke coolly before the voice responded.
" Ofcourse my boy. See it done. Contact me when your mission is accomplished. "
Gajeel smirked before walking out of the alleyway and continuing his search for Laxus.

" Elfman look! There's Cana! " Mirajane pointed toward where Cana was fighting Freed. As Mirajane and Elfman walked over, Cana fell to the ground, Unconscious.
" I'll handle this! " Elfman pushed Mirajane aside before motioning to fight Freed but stopped as Freed spoke.
" You lost to Evergreen. You have no right to continue the game. Dark Ecriture: Fear! " Freed spoke clearly as he swung his sword, Sending a line of energy at Elfman. As it hit, Elfman was knocked backward, Cowering as Freed walked forward. " You will suffer for foolishly thinking you could fight me after losing. Dark Ecriture: Suffering! " Freed swung his sword a second time, Another wave of energy slamming into Elfman, This time causing him to hold his head and yell in pain.
" Elfman! Please... Please stop this! " Mirajane cried softly as she tried to comfort Elfman and convince Freed to stop torturing her brother.
" Begging is a sign of weakness. He does not deserve my mercy. Dark Ecriture: Pain! " Freed swung his sword a third time, The runes he wrote causing Elfman to scream and writhe in unimaginable pain. After a few moments, Freed spoke again. " I am wasting my time. I will grant you the only thing left for a fool. Dark Ecriture: Death! " As Freed motioned to write the runes, Mirajane screamed as memories of Lisanna's death filled Mirajane's mind.
" No... Not again... I WILL NOT LOSE ANOTHER SIBLING! TAKE OVER: SATAN SOUL! " Mirajane screamed angrily as she exploded toward Freed, Who barely had a moment to react as Mirajane swung her claws at him. After dodging, Freed spoke as he wrote runes on himself.
" Dark Ecriture: Wings! " Freed attempted to dodge but was hit by Mirajane's claws before flying into the air. As he flew into the air, Mirajane turned her head and glared at him angrily before speaking.
" You can't escape me! " Mirajane raised her hand a black magic circle appeared in front of her. As Freed watched, A multitude of black hands exploded toward him. As he dodged the hands, Mirajane slammed a kick into his stomach before clawing him relentlessly. After managing to dodge Mirajane, Freed turned and flew away with Mirajane chasing him as he spoke to himself.
" I have no choice... Only a Demon can fight a Demon... Dark Ecriture: Darkness! " Freed wrote a series of runes on himself before his body began changing. As Mirajane caught up, Freed's Demonic Form became visible and his fists collided with hers in a flurry of punches. As the magic power of their fight erupted out of them, The ground around them cracked and shattered.
" I will defeat you Mirajane! I must! " Freed spoke fiercely as their fight continued.
" I will not lose. I will not let you hurt anyone else! " Mirajane spoke ferociously before slamming into Freed, Crashing through a cave entrance. As Freed stood, Mirajane rushed forward and spoke. " Evil Spark! "
Freed yelled in pain as his body was electrified by Mirajane's attack. As Mirajane released him and he fell to his knees, Freed spoke. " No... I cannot... I WILL NOT LOSE! Darkness Breath! "
As Mirajane gasped, A black tornado filled the cave, Lifting Freed and Mirajane into the air before throwing them out of the cave and into the sky. As Mirajane flapped her wings to regain her stability, Freed rushed toward her as he spoke. " Darkness Flare Bomb! "
As Freed's attack slammed into her, Mirajane gasped as she was sent rocketing into the river below. As he smiled, Thinking he had defeated her, Freed's jaw dropped as he saw the entire river rushing toward Mirajane and swirling around her. Before Freed could react, Mirajane spoke. " Evil Explosion! "
Freed gasped as the entire river exploded toward him. As he dodged, Freed gasped as Mirajane slammed a series of punches and kicks into him. As Freed gasped from the punches and kicks, Mirajane spoke fiercely. " Soul Extinctor! "
Before he could dodge, Mirajane threw her hands forward as a massive explosion of black magic surged in every direction, Slamming into Freed and sending him crashing to the ground as his magic wore off. As he returned to his normal form, Mirajane landed on top of him, Pinning him to the ground as she continued to punch him relentlessly.
" This is it... I cant defeat her... I am going to die here... " Freed thought to himself as he gasped and groaned in pain as Mirajane continued punching him. As Mirajane screamed in rage and motioned to throw the final punch, Her fist stopped millimetres away from Freed's face. As Freed looked up at her, Mirajane returned to her normal form as she once again remembered Lisanna's death.
Before Freed could do anything, Mirajane spoke softly. " Do... Do you think this battle is meaningless Freed? "
" Is this pity? Stop wasting time and FINISH ME! " Freed looked up at Mirajane angrily but fell silent as tears built up in Mirajane's eyes.
" We are all allies Freed... Members of the same Guild... The same family... We laugh together... We smile together... We shouldn't be fighting like this! " Mirajane cried softly as Freed spoke.
" I only have one ally. Laxus is my ally. No one else matters. " Freed turned his head away from Mirajane but sighed as spoke again.
" It is okay to be attached to one person Freed. Look at me and Erza. But that doesn't mean that everyone else around you doesn't matter. Laxus being your only ally is just not true. There are people all around you that are your allies. " Mirajane smiled sweetly as tears fell down her cheeks as Freed remembered all the times that other Fairy Tail members had been friendly to him and taken care of him as Mirajane took his hand gently and spoke soothingly.
" If you reach out, People around you will be right there. We will always be there Freed. We are a family. When you realise how lonely it is to be on your own, You will become kind and gentle. " Mirajane smiled sweetly as Freed bit his lip and tears built up in his eyes. As he cried softly, Freed spoke in a broken tone of voice.
" I didn't want this... I didn't want to fight my family Mira! " Freed cried loudly as Mirajane spoke.
" I know Freed. I know. Come home. We can smile and laugh together again. Next year we can all enjoy the Harvest Festival together. Just come home Freed. " Mirajane cried and smiled sweetly as Freed cried.
The Cathedral
" Weakling. It's down to me then. " Laxus scoffed loudly before sitting down.
Guild Hall
" What should we do... Everyone is injured or searching for Laxus... " Levy thought quietly before Porlyusica spoke loudly.
" I demand to see Makarov. Where is he?! " Porlyusica had a look of impatience on her face as Levy ran over and spoke.
" The medical room. " Levy had barely finished speaking as Porlyusica pushed past her and walked into the medical room with Levy close behind. As Porlyusica looked at Makarov, Her eyes welled up with tears and she spoke shakily.
" Bring Laxus to me. Makarov hasn't got long to live... " Porlyusica's voice trembled as Levy looked at her in shock before leaving the room.
The Cathedral
Laxus was sitting in the cathedral, Thinking about his younger years, In particular, A debate he had with Makarov in which he told Makarov that he was tired of just being " The Masters Grandson ", Scolding Makarov for expelling his father. As he thought about how he had told Makarov he was leaving to join his fathers guild and that he would become stronger than Makarov, Mystogan appeared before him and spoke.
" Laxus. " Mystogan spoke in a soft voice as Laxus smiled.
" Good to see you Mystogan. Fighting you to decide the strongest Mage in Fairy Tail will be such a delight. " Laxus smiled as Mystogan sighed.
" Laxus you must deactivate Thunder Palace. " Mystogan spoke calmly but sighed in frustration as Laxus spoke.
" Admit that I am the strongest to the entire guild and I'll consider it. " Laxus spoke with a grin but changed to a look of irritation as Mystogan spoke.
" I cannot. It would taste a lie. " Mystogan spoke coolly as Laxus growled in frustration.
" I am the strongest mage in Fairy Tail! Everyone knows it! " Laxus had an annoyed look on his face as Mystogan spoke.
" And yet, No one ever speaks of it. Perhaps it is only you that thinks so." Mystogan spoke calmly once again but as Laxus spoke, He felt anger and frustration build within him.
" Hmph. Your word means nothing. Your just another. " Laxus turned his head to the side with disinterest as Mystogan spoke.
" Another what? " Mystogan had an irritated look on his face as Laxus smiled and looked toward him.
" That's just it. You are just Another. " Laxus grinned as Mystogan growled before rushing forward and attacking Laxus. After several minutes of colliding spells and missed punches, Mystogan spoke.
" Where is the source Laxus?! " Mystogan spoke as he dodged a lightning bolt.
" If you defeat me, I might tell you. " Laxus grinned as he sent another lightning bolt at Mystogan, Who took the hit but suffered very little damage as Mystogan fired a spell toward Laxus.
After several more minutes of colliding spells and little damage to either mage, Mystogan used the Skyscraper spell. As Laxus watched, The ground around him exploded before he realised that he was being propelled into space. As he was about to panic, Laxus realised that he was under an illusion and shattered the spell as he spoke.
" Gonna have to try harder than that punk. Illusions won't phase me. " Laxus grinned before firing a barrage of lightning at Mystogan, Who attacked in kind with his own spells. After several moments, The pair paused for a moment as Natsu and Erza ran into the Cathedral. As Mystogan turned to face them, Laxus fired a thunderbolt at Mystogan's head, Destroying the covering keeping his face hidden.
As Mystogan stepped back, Erza and Natsu gasped in shock. The face they saw before them was none other than Jellal Fernandes. As Mystogan recovered from the shock of being hit in the face, Erza spoke.
" J... Jellal... What... " Erza stepped back but froze as Mystogan spoke.

" Hmph. Coward. Still... " Laxus smirked as he fired a lightning bolt at Erza, Causing her to scream in pain and fall to the ground. " At least he is useful for something. "
" You'll pay for that! " Natsu rushed forward and began trading blows with Laxus, Neither one doing any substantial damage to the other as Erza stood and recovered from the sudden shock of lightning before speaking.
" Requip: Lightning Empress! " As Erza changed into her Lightning Empress armour, Laxus managed to knock Natsu back a few feet as Erza spoke again. " Laxus I demand that you stop this! Deactivate Thunder Palace! "
" Makarov resigns and you got a deal. Otherwise shut up and fight! " Laxus fired another lightning bolt at Erza, This time causing little damage thanks to her Lightning Empress armour. After taking the hit, Erza retaliated with lightning attacks of her own. After several minutes trading lightning attacks, Erza paused as Natsu spoke.
" Erza, Let me handle this. " Natsu grinned confidently as Erza spoke.
" Your right. We are wasting efforts both fighting him. You deal with Laxus, I will handle Thunder Palace. " Erza spoke firmly and turned but whispered as she left. " I believe in you Natsu... "
" I believe in you to Erza. Now then... " Natsu grinned wildly as he turned to face Laxus. " I'm getting fired up! Let's do this! "
Outside
As sound of Natsu fighting Laxus echoed out of the Cathedral, Erza summoned a number of blades as she silently prayed to her friends for help.
Elsewhere
Gray groaned as he managed to get to his feet after feelings Erza's plea. " Gotta get everyone together... " Before he could move, Cana and Juvia ran over to him.
" Juvia has finally found her love. Is Gray alright? " Juvia spoke softly before Gray nodded.
" Yeah I'm fine... We need to find Warren. If we call everyone in Fairy Tail together to help Erza, We can win this. Help me find him Juvia. You to Cana. " Gray spoke firmly but smiled as Juvia nodded and Cana spoke.
" Alright. Juvia you help Gray back to the Guild Hall. I'll go find Warren and meet you there. " Cana ran off to search for Warren as Juvia put her arms around Gray and blushed lightly as she helped Gray walk down the street.
The Cathedral
" You are gonna have to do much better. Your attacks aren't even tickling. I'm getting bored. " Laxus yawned disinterestedly before sending a massive lightning bolt at Natsu, Forcing him to the ground. As Natsu groaned, Laxus looked toward the door. " Wonder why Makarov hasn't resigned yet... Thunder Palace will activate real soon... "
" You shouldn't worry about that. Erza will handle it! " Natsu grinned as he stood and rushed toward Laxus.
Outside
" I can't stop... I have to summon them all! " Erza panted heavily as she continued summoning her weapons. " I have to summon them all and destroy Thunder Palace! "
Thunder Palace will soon fully activate.
