Wow-o-toy factory

all was quiet. Then there was a loud CRASH. Out from behind the glass came a figure dressed in a white clown-esque outfit carrying a screaming, thrashing girl. "Let go of me! Ban! Gowther! Hurry up you guys! This ghost keeps grabbing." Up on a railing a boy with a feminine face, dark pink hair, and glasses glanced over and whispered "jinkies." He then raised a walkie-talkie to his mouth and said "ban, come in ban." Down on the floor another boy with very light blue hair and a red leather jacket was swinging around a fire hose. "Ban! Can you hear me?" "Loud and clear gowther." "Shockingly Diane's been captured again, but that's ok, when the Luna Ghost rounds the corner, king and hawk will jump out of the barrel." "Then you'll activate the conveyer belt which will spill the bucket of oil on the floor-" the ghost laughed and landed on the ground, causing the two to hide themselves. "Just remember my plan." The ghost walked over to a barrel which currently had a pigs tail sticking out of a hole in it. "Chill out hawk stop shaking." A voice whispered, then a snoink was heard and a different voice said "me? That's you." "Oh yeah, sorry." The ghost then raised a small flame up to its mouth and breathed fire at the tail. A pig then jumped out of the barrel partly and started blowing at his tail, until the barrel lid came down on his head. He then saw the ghost, which said "boo." "AAAH!" A boy with orange hair stood up in the barrel, oblivious to the ghost, and said "hawk, what are you doing, this is no time to-" hawk then made impressions of a ghost. "The ghost is right behind me isn't it?" Hawk nodded and king turned his head around. And saw the ghost raise another flame to its mouth. The two then screamed and ducked back into the barrel as the ghost blew. Gowther then stood up and pushed a button on a remote. The conveyor belt then started moving and a bucket of oil fell on the floor. A pair of legs came out of the bottom of the barrel and hawks upper half came out of the top. "King run!" "I'm trying!" "Ban now!" Gowther shouted. Ban then came out at the same time king finally managed to start moving. "Look out!" Hawk shouted. Ban was then knocked down by the barrel. The ghost flew up and ban sprayed the hose and attempted to hit the ghost with the water stream. Only for the water to spray on gowther causing him to fall over the railing, screaming, luckily his foot got caught on a chain and stopped him from hitting the ground. A net then came down on ban. "Sorry gowther." "I know ban." Gowther replied in a 'I am so done' voice. Meanwhile king and hawk were still running. "Where's the ghost!" "It's right behind us, SKATEBOARD!" Kings feet ended up on the board and the two ended up skating onto the conveyor and a hole was made in front of kings face. King then saw and jumped over a slicing blade. The ghost laughed again and king asked "is he still after us hawk?!" "Yeah!" King then skated up a ramp like surface while hawk yelled "banzai!" They landed and rail glided for a second, then king saw a hydraulic press and yelled "zoinks! Grab the hook!" "Hold on king!" Hawk caught the hook with his teeth and they swung off the conveyor, while the skateboard was crushed. The ghost landed and turned around when it heard screaming, and saw hawk and king swinging towards him. Diane whimpered right before the two crashed into them. All four were knocked back into a column of plastic doll containers which fell on top of them. Gowther and ban, the latter turned off the machinery, ran over and gowther said "Diane, are you alright?" Dianes head came out of the plastic and she said "I'm so over this damsel in distress stuff." Ban then asked "where's king?" As if on cue king and hawk popped their heads out laughing. "Hey hawk what do you say we get another skateboard and do that again." "Yeah." Hawk replied giggling. Then the sound of tires screeching was heard and a van came crashing through the wall of the factory. It was mainly yellow and white with some green flowers painted on, and on the side there were large letters printed in black which spelled out 'boar hat'. The van came to a halt and was followed by police cars. The driver-side door then opened and out came non other than Pamela Anderson. Fans of the group then came rushing in and ban started signing autographs. Pamela came up to him and hugged him "thanks so much for saving the factory." A reporter piped up "Pam, any comments for us?" "This is a victory for any celebrity who wants to make a quality, ecologically friendly action figure." "Ban what's the secret to your success?" "Teamwork, I do a stupid amount of teamwork, and I always have a plan." Ban gestured for them to follow him while gowther muttered "yeah, my plan." "I knew there was never any ghost, the Luna ghost is.." ban then pulled off the mask revealing.. "old man Smithers?!" Everyone said in surprise, except for gowther. "The creepy janitor?" Pamela said, to which ban replied "Smithers wanted revenge on you for refusing to go out with him." "Why Pamela, I'm a lover boy like George Clooney." "Ban how was the ghost able to fly?" Gowther walked over and said "I can answer that." He and ban then ripped off the costume revealing a ballon suit. "These balloons fill with a highly potent helium synthesis, which gave the Luna ghost-" gowther pushed the button which filled the balloons "his weightless appearance." Smithers floated while saying "I would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for you meddling kids, and that dumb pig!" Hawk then oinked three times and everyone applauded.

the group walked to the boar hat, which was now parked outside the factory. "Ban I can't believe you took credit for my plan again." "Some plan, that ghost pawed me for half an hour." "Diane it's not our fault you always get kidnapped." "I don't always get kidnapped!" "Please you come with your own ransom note." Gowther said snarkily. Diane then grabbed his glasses. "Hey!" "Who's helpless now?" Diane said mockingly. "I'm gonna kill you diane!" Gowther said, only to grab ban by the throat instead on account of not being able to see at the moment. "Hey whoa, watch it!" Ban said as he took gowthers hands off. King then tried to diffuse the situation. "Guys look I know I'm just the dude that carries the bags, but we all play an important role in this group." Diane gave gowther back his glasses. "We're like one big banana split. Ban, your the big banana, Diane your the vanilla and bubblegum flavored ice cream, gowther your the sweet and sour sauce, and me and hawk are the cherry that goes on top." "Mmm that sounds good." Hawk said. Gowther said "you know what king, you really put things in perspective for me. I quit." Everyone looked shocked and king whispered "no." Diane then said "no way! You can't quit! I was gonna quit in three seconds, now everyone'll think I copied off the smart guy!" "Hey wait a minute, maybe I quit, yeah I quit!" Ban said and walked away. "I'm outta here." Gowther said and shoulder shrugged Diane as he walked away. "Good riddance." Diane said before walking away. "Wait, don't go! Come on don't do this guys! Please don't go." King pleaded. Hawk had tears welling in his eyes as he asked king "do we quit?" "No hawk, friends don't quit." The two got into the van and started driving away. "Looks like it's just you and me for a while hawk." "What do we do now?" "I guess we'll all just do what we do best."

two years later

"man, talk about toasted." Hawk said. "The only thing I like more than an eggplant burger is a chocolate covered eggplant burgier." King said as he finished making said burger. "With hot sauce." Hawk said as he assembled his own. After the gang broke up, king and hawk drove around a bit working odd jobs. After about six months they decided to settle on the beach, king worked part time at a snack shack while hawk ate the food beachgoers left behind. They could both agree that it was a good life, though they couldn't deny that it would be better if their friends were with them. "Just another day in paradise." King said wistfully. He was in mid bite when someone started knocking on the side door of the van. "Is there a mr. harlequin and hawk Rogers? The detectives?" Their eyes widened and hawk shouted "nobody home!" "Hawk let's scram." King said as he opened the door. He then felt his head hit someone else's. "Oh! Sorry! Uh, dude we'd like to help you, really, but unfortunately we're no longer in the sleuthing business." The man cleared his throat and handed king an envelope. "I've been sent by my employer Emile mondavarious to invite you to his world famous amusement park spooky island." "Sorry but we don't go anywhere associated with horror." "Or hydrocolonics." "Yeah but that's for a different reason." "But mr. mondavarious wants you to solve a mystery, he'll pay you 100,000 American dollars." "Materialism's not really our thing." "He'll provide you with free airfare." "No thanks." "Room and board." "Tempting but no thanks." "And all you can eat." Kings breath hitched and hawk breathed out "all you can eat?" Hawk fainted.

Gowther finished packing his suitcase as his girlfriend Nadja came over and hugged him, he reciprocated and put his hand on her belly, which was showing signs of pregnancy, six months to be exact. The couple had been together for a year and three months now, they'd been living together for a year. "Just promise you'll be back soon." Nadja said. "I promise, don't worry, worst case scenario I'll be gone a month max." He kissed her and she kissed back. He then picked up his case and started walking outside, but stopped when he saw a picture of him and the gang. He shook his head and kept walking.

ban drove with his girlfriend Jericho in the passenger seat and their three month old son hector in the back. "It'll be nice to solve a mystery again after all this time." "Just promise you'll stay safe, and come back soon, me and hector will miss you." "I'll miss you guys too." At a red light ban turned to hector and said in a playfully serious voice "you don't take your first steps until I get back mr." Jericho giggled as did hector. Bans eyes squinted due to the sun and he pulled down the visor, and saw a picture of the gang. He looked at it until the light turned green.

Diane parked the car and got out. Her boyfriend howzer handed her her bag. "Thanks babe." She leaned forward and kissed him. "I'm gonna miss you like crazy." Howzer whispered in her ear. "Me too." She started walking but howzer ran up to her and said "don't forget your phone." "Thanks." She gave him one last peck on the lips and continued walking. She opened her purse and as she put her phone in she saw a picture of her and the guys.

ban walked through the airport and was looking at a pamphlet on spooky island. "Ban?" Gowther said. Ban turned around and was temporarily at a loss for words. "Gowther? Are you going this way?" "Yeah.. how've you been?" "Great, I'm in the wine business, I'm a sommelier." "You always did like alcohol, anything romance wise?" "I was actually blessed with a beautiful girlfriend and an adorable baby boy." "Jinkies that's impressive." "What about you?" "I'm an English professor and I actually published a book 'the night of the ghoul'." "You wrote that? It's the New York Times bestseller." "Yeah, I also got a girlfriend and she's actually pregnant with my child." "Congrats." "I wasn't gonna pass up an opportunity to solve a mystery matrona... well just because the gang broke up doesn't mean-" "crap." Ban and gowther said concurrently. "I'll call you back." Diane hung up and turned around "what are you guys doing here?" "Apparently we've all received the same invitation from Emile mondavarious, the owner of spooky island." Gowther said. "No fair! I was gonna solve the mystery by myself for the first time!" Diane whined. "How were you planning to save yourself when you got caught?" Ban asked in a bit of a mocking tone. "I'm a black belt now, my body is now a dangerous weapon." Ban and gowther simply chuckled. "It's true!" "Far out! We're all going to spooky island!" King said as he approached them. Gowther noticed a distinct lack of a certain boar "hey where's hawk?" Gowther was answered when he saw hawk in a poorly made cat costume. "They don't allow pigs in the cabin." King explained. "You've got to be kidding." Gowther said. "No one's stupid enough to believe that." Diane said. "When'd you get a cat?" Ban asked. "Hey guys- I mean, meow." Gowther said "look, I wouldn't have agreed to come if I knew." King then piped up and said "guys wait think about it for a second, mystery inc. reunited, we'll be a team again like the good old days, so what do you say we do the hand stack thing where we lift our hands up and go 'woohoo'." King outstretched his arm and hand and hawk put his ear on top of kings hand. "Only If ban and gowther do it." Diane said. King looked at ban who, after seemingly hesitating, said "people are watching king." And walked away. He was soon followed by Diane, who looked back at them for a second. King looked at gowther, who gave what looked like an 'I'm sorry face' before also walking away. Hawk weakly lifted his ear and half-heartedly said "woohoo." "Yeah woohoo, come on buddy."

on the plane king was about to eat a sandwich. "Now this is a work of art." He was going to take a bite, but froze when he saw a green haired boy walking down the aisle, he was so mesmerized that he didn't even notice hawk eat his sandwich. The boy walked up to him and asked "can I sit here next to, um." He was at a loss for words when he saw hawk. "Oh this is just my cat hawk, like sure." The boy walked to the seat and sneezed. "Bless you." King said. "Sorry I'm allergic to cats. Maybe I should move." Hawks cat disguise was real cat fur that they got from a pet groomer. "No wait Hawk was just about to go sit with his old friend gowther." King said. Hawk, getting the message, winked inconspicuously and walked to gowther. The boy then took out a bag filled with hawk snacks, Hawk was named after those, and they used to give them to him whenever he refused to do something, and on occasion they gave them to king too. "Are those hawk snacks?" "Yeah, I know they're for animals but they're one hundred percent vegetarian and I love them." "Me too." "Far out, I've never met someone else who likes hawk snacks." "Me neither." "I'm Helbram." "That names awesome." The two continued talking, meanwhile hawk finally got to gowther and ban and sat with them. A cat then hissed at him, and he started oinking angrily at it, which started drawing attention. "Hawk." "Don't worry gowther, to make an animal stop any behavior simply flick it on the nose, Hawk." Hawk turned and ban flicked his snout. Hawk then winded back an ear and punched ban in the face. The cat ran and hawk ran after it.

"welcome to spooky island, the frightfully popular spring break spot for college students! catch our electrical torture parade! it's a dead world after all! And the world famous splatterhorn!" The gang was currently walking down the dock when a statue started speaking directly to them. "Hawk! And the rest of mystery inc. it's marvelous to see you." Then from behind the statue came out a man "sorry if I startled you, I'm Emile mondavarious, the owner of this amusement park." Emile said to the group. Gowther then said "you seem less-" "spooky." King finished his sentence. "Than we'd have guessed." Gowther finished. "Oh I can be quite spooky when called upon." "So you're the one that brought us here." Ban said. "No what brought you here was your affinity for mysteries." They all began walking down the boardwalk. "The thing is sir, mystery inc. has broken up." Diane said. "But that's the beauty of something broken, it can be fixed, and therein lies its potential, and I need you to fix spooky island." Gowther asked "what seems to be the problem?" "I believe someone is casting a spell on the students." They reached the end of the boardwalk "now see if you can spot the difference between those arriving and those leaving." "They look like sober, well-behaved college kids." King said. "Yes but they weren't before they came, they've changed, in other terms, a magic spell." They then looked at the line of departing students and a guy who began flirting with the girl in front get grabbed and lifted by her, they watched with shock as she threw him. Emile turned to them and said "I'm scared that the people that come off that barge, the people I love, are in danger." "I'm gonna solve this first." Gowther said assuredly, followed by ban who said "not if I solve it first." Diane then said "you guys are gonna look like idiots when you're caught and I'm saving you." The three walked their separate ways and Emile said "marvelous, perhaps we can celebrate later with a spookapalooza." "Spookapalooza?" Hawk asked.

later at night, gowther, king and hawk were on a bus touring around the island. King and hawk were in the front, king was talking with helbram, and gowther was in the back. A man next to gowther said to him "hey pretty lady, wanna maybe meet me at my room in the hotel later?" While showing him a room key. "One I'm a guy, and two I have a girlfriend who's carrying my child." "Oh crap sorry dude." "It's ok, you'd be surprised at how often that happens." Meanwhile hawk was trembling at the animatronics and king said "it's not real buddy." The guy next to gowther asked him "didn't that guy and his pig used to solve mysteries?" "They were part of a larger group, mystery incorporated." "Oh yeah." "I'm gowther. The smart one." "Oh, you were always a dude?" Gowther simply sighed. Meanwhile, ban was walking around the ride area when he saw some odd looking footprints "score." He whispered. Diane, who was also there, saw a man take a bag from another. She decided to follow him. A voice on the intercom said "hear the story of spooky island in ten minutes at the ring."

later at the ring gowther was talking to an employee "have you noticed anything unusual since you started working here? Any weirdos running around?" "Uhh no." Then there was a flash of light and he disappeared. Gowther looked around and was startled by men running past him. They began chanting and dancing around a fire and two people came out of the cave made to look like a monsters mouth. "Welcome dear victims, my name is escanor tauna. This is my son and evil apprentice Arthur." The man said while gesturing to the boy next to him. "This enchanted island is a thoroughfare to the supernatural realm, it was once home to creatures who lived on the island, undisturbed." Arthur then started talking "but ten years ago, Emile mondavarious antagonized these ancient beings by building this park here." The two then started walking, and seemingly talking, to gowther "the creatures are furious, we assure you that while you party they, plot, their, REVENGE." As escanor said revenge the fire flared and a creatures head appeared in it, roaring. "Do our friends frighten you?" Arthur said while caressing gowthers chest and cheek. Gowther gently took Arthurs hands off of him and said "they would, if it wasn't for the holographic projectors, there, there, and there." Escanor simply smiled and said "how smart of you."

meanwhile at dead mikes bar, king and helbram were walking and talking with each other, while hawk walked behind them with a sad look on his face, he was happy that king seemed to have found someone, but it didn't feel good being ignored. "Is there a Hawk here?" Hawk turned towards the bartender. "I got a call for hawk, uh Rogers." Hawk walked up to him and said "that's me." The bartender handed him the phone and hawk held awkwardly with his hooves. "Hello?" "I've got a bag of leftovers for you, just walk into the dark part of the forest where no one can see you." Hawk, oblivious to the obvious danger, said "ok." He hung up and walked into the woods. King then asked helbram "want one of those stuffed things?" "No one can win those." King put in a quarter and said "ban always said it was a useless talent and I should've learned French instead, I told him 'you don't need to know what voulez vous couche avec moi means to love that song'." He then successfully grabbed a stuffed head. Helbram said "I think being good at crane games is way cooler than being multilingual." King got the head and gave it to helbram, who had a touched face "no one's ever given me a stuffed dismembered head before." He leaned towards king, king leaned forward as well, and they kissed. They then sat down at a table and helbram asked "does this mean we're dating?" "If you want." "Yeah, yeah I do. I've actually never had a boyfriend before." "I had a few when the gang was together." "How did you all meet each other?" "We were all in 4th grade-" (Flashback) king was sitting alone on the playground at recess when he happened to see a boy with light blue spiky hair hounding a girl with dark pink hair and glasses. He decided to get a closer look and as he got closer he heard the spiky haired boy saying in a mocking tone "what's up girly, are you wearing a bra yet?" "Shut up ban!" Ban pushed the girl and said "Or what?" The girl then winded back an arm and punched ban in the face. Ban clutched his cheek and started winding back a punch of his own but ended up elbowing a girl with brown hair and pigtails, hard. "Ow!" The girl grabbed ban and threw him down, she then started punching him and was joined by the girl with glasses. King ended up trying to intervene, but ban somehow grabbed him and started using him as a human shield. The girls seemed unfazed by this and kept punching in the hopes that ban would still feel the hits. King tried escaping by elbowing ban, and it didn't take long for the other kids to start chanting "fight, fight, fight, fight!" Screeech the children stopped whatever they were doing and covered their ears at the shrill sound of a teachers whistle. They all looked over and saw a teacher and the principal. "Crap." The four said at the same time.

the group sat outside the principals office and could hear the muffled voices of their parents and legal guardians. They had explained the situation to their parents and the principal. Ban piped up "this is all your fault gowther you threw the first punch." "I wouldn't have if you stopped picking on me, besides she's the one who threw you down." "Yeah because he elbowed me trying to punch you for punching him for picking on you for looking like a girl." "You're a boy?" King asked. "Of course I am." Gowther said. The door then opened and the principal came out. "Children, you all have detention." Everyone had looks of disbelief. "Detention?" "Yes, starting tomorrow, for five weeks." "Five weeks?!" King exclaimed.

the next evening the group was sitting in the library, not speaking to each other. Gowther then pulled out a heart shaped locket and opened it. Ban decided to spite him and took the locket. "Hey give it back!" Ban held Gowther at a distance with his arm and said "here's your dumb daddy and..." ban trailed off when he saw a woman in the picture that looked like an older version of Gowther, but without glasses. Gowther grabbed the locket back and put it back on. "Who was that woman?" Ban asked. "She's my mother. She passed away when I was younger." Bans eyes widened, along with the other two. Ban suddenly felt very bad, Gowther looked just like her, and he'd been making fun of him for it. Ban then said "my little sister died when she was four, I know it's not the same but I think I can understand better than most." Gowther then got a sad look on his face and said "I'm so sorry." He then hesitantly hugged ban, who hugged back. Diane then said "I lost both of my parents." She joined the hug. Then king said "no one died in my family but, my dad left when I was little." The three gestured for him to come over, and the four hugged. (Flashback over) "we got to know each other better and we were friends ever since." "Wow."

meanwhile, while king was courting helbram, Diane followed the man to a house on the beach, she looked in and saw a frozen chicken hanging from the ceiling. The man held up a knife and was speaking in some foreign language. As he brought up the knife Diane said "excuse me?" The man got startled and turned to her, still holding the knife. After seeing her he said "what are you doin here? Now I have to start this voodoo ritual all over again." "Voodoo ritual?" "Yes, I was about to sacrifice this chicken." "But that chickens dead." "I know that smart little girl, when'd you figure that when you saw it didn't have a head?" "Um-" "ok what do you want that's so important you gotta interrupt my voodoo ritual space?" "I'm looking for clues about who's behind the strange behavior of the students here." The man then got a somewhat scared face, which he quickly cleared up and he said "here's a clue, orange is a fall color, it's the middle of may!" "Pardon?" "Listen do us both a favor and get off this island, go home before evil befalls on your skinny aerobe-sized butt, and whatever you do, do not go into that castle." He pointed out of a window. "Aha! You want me to go to that castle." "Did you hear anything I just said?" "But you knew I'd do the opposite of what you said, so you told me not to go to that castle so I would where you set a trap to catch me, unless you knew I'd figure it out so you told me not to go so I would go just like you didn't want me to." The man made an extremely confused face. "I'll find out what you're hiding in there." Diane walked away to find king and hawk. She then thought "I wonder if there were talking animals on the farm it came from." Then her mind wandered to the memory of when they met hawk. (Flashback) the group got off of the bus, they were on a sixth grade field trip with their class to a farm. The farmer then told the class "Ok everyone remember to stay out of that building, it's the slaughter house, and it's been having a ghost problem." King whispered to gowther "slaughter house? Ghost?" "It's where they kill animals to make food out of them, and it's the spirit of someone dead." Gowther explained. After walking around with the class for a bit, ban whispered to the other three "lets look in the slaughter house." Diane replied "but he said not to." "And he said it was haunted." King said. Gowther then said "let's go, this is boring." They snuck into the slaughter house, but first they had to sneak past a slaughterhouse worker who was talking on the phone. They saw animals in pens. They got to the pigs and Diane said "sorry you're so tasty pigs." "Snoink please don't eat me!" The fours eyes widened and king asked "did one of them just talk?" "Yes me I did!" A young pig ran up and stood on the edge of the pen. "Whats a talking pig doing in here?" Ban asked. "Yeah isn't it illegal to kill talking animals?" Diane asked. Gowther then said "yeah that law was passed ages ago." "Come on pig we'll get you out of here." King said. He attempted to lift the pig out "guys help." The others assisted him, though it was still a bit difficult. They managed to get him out and he said "thanks guys, my name's hawk, as in the snack." "I'm king, this is gowther, Diane, and ban." "Mwahaha." Sinister laughter was heard behind them. They turned around and saw a ghost. "Give me the pig!" "Aaaaahhhhh!" They all screamed and ran. (Flashback over)

meanwhile, during all that, Hawk walked through the woods when he saw a sign that said 'leftovers this way' with an arrow. Hawk followed it and he soon saw a bag tied to a tree. He licked his lips and started looking in the bag, only to find that it was empty. The bag got stuck on his head, then someone took it off. Hawk looked up and saw.. a monster! Hawk put the bag back on only for the monster to take it off again and roar at him. Hawk screamed and ran up a tree, then the tree started leaning down, hawk looked back and saw the monster climbing the tree. He then jumped off, and the tree flinged back, sending the monster flying away. Hawk ran back to the bar and jumped into King's arms. "Monster!" "What?" Then an odd silhouette was seen in the woods, hawk shrieked, then the silhouette was revealed to be someone in a bunny costume. King set hawk down and the latter made a confused face. Helbram said "I should probably get going, bye babe." He and king kissed and helbram left. They then heard Diane whisper-shout "king, hawk." They looked over and saw her gesturing to follow her.

at the castle king said "no way." "King." "Me and hawk don't do castles." "Why not?" "Castles have paintings with eyes that watch you, suits of armor you think are empty, but there's a guy inside who follows you whenever your back faces him!" King claimed. Diane asked "how many times has that actually happened to either of you?" "Twelve, we're not doing it." Hawk answered. The two started walking away, then Diane pulled something out of her bag "would you do it for a hawk snack?" Hawk ran over to her and said "yeah yeah yeah!" "Promise you'll be fearless?" "Yeah fearless!" "Here you go." She gave it to him and hawk savored it. "I haven't had one of these in ages." "Plenty where that came from, alright let's go before someone sees." "You guys have fun." King said "Have fun out here alone." Diane replied. King muttered "crap." And followed them. Inside the castle king commented "this place is uber creepy." "Yeah." Hawk agreed. Diane said "the only thing missing is a ravenous zombie." The door then creaked open and the three screamed. They saw ban. "Ban, I found this place, so the clues are mine." Diane said. "I already found my own clues. I saw some footprints leading up here, thought it might be dangerous for you to come here by yourselves." Diane then told him, oblivious to a statue moving towards her "if anyone messes with me, I'll just open a can of good old fashioned whoopass on them." The statues hand then touched Diane on the shoulder causing her and everyone else to scream. Giggling was heard and gowther came out from behind the statue. "Gowther?!" King exclaimed. "What are you doing here?" Ban asked. "This ride was closed for construction, so it seemed like the most obvious place to hatch an evil plan, plus I wanted to scare Diane." Gowther said with a smile. Ban clapped his hands together and said "ok since we're all here we might as well split up and look for clues, me and Diane will-" "of course." Gowther muttered. "What?" Ban asked. "Nothing, I was always picked last for teams." "Alright, Diane you go through that door, me and gowther will go through there, and king and hawk, do whatever you guys do."

king and hawk walked into a room made to look like a medieval dining room.

Diane struggled to remove wood planks from a door.

ban and gowther walked down a hallway and ban said "Gowther I'm sorry for, you know, picking you last." "It's ok ban, I know you, you're just interested in pretty girls." "That's not true, dorky guys like you turn me on too." Gowther then said "thanks for the backhanded insult." "Heh, I try." Ban then remembered the first time they unmasked someone. (Flashback) "ok guys, just remember the plan." Gowther whispered. "Why am I bait?" Hawk whisperer/shouted. "Because you're the one he's after." Diane whispered back. "Don't worry we won't let him hurt you." King whispered. "Ok, let's trap us a ghost." Ban whispered. A few minutes later hawk and king were standing in front of the door of the slaughterhouse and king said in an unintentionally bad acting voice "you're so cute hawk, I'm gonna ask my parents to adopt you." "That's so sweet of you king thank you." Hawk said in an equally bad acting voice. "Give me that pig!" The two turned around and saw the ghost. They immediately screamed and ran for the cattle crush. As they got to it they jumped over the gates and Diane and ban pulled a rope out, causing the ghost to trip over and roll into the cattle crush, which gowther then closed. At that moment the farmer came in along with the teacher and rest of the class. "What on earth are you four doing?!" The teacher asked furiously. The farmer then said in astonishment "well I'll be damned, you all caught the ghost." Gowther piped up. "He's not a ghost he's-" gowther paused as he removed the mask, revealing, "the slaughterhouse worker." The five said, four in surprised voices, Gowther in a matter of fact tone. "Jim?!" The farmer exclaimed. "You know him?" Diane said. "Of course I do he's my brother, why Jim?" "Because I should've gotten the farm." Jim replied. Gowther began explaining "he wanted the farm but he knew he couldn't get it unless you were unable to manage it, and it just so happened that you owned the only talking pig in the county, he was planning to kill hawk and frame you with this forged confession letter he was going to anonymously mail to the police." "How'd you know that was fake?" Jim asked. "Because while we were still with the group he said he doesn't come in here." "You didn't want anyone to find out, so you came up with the ghost scheme to drive everyone away." "Then you could kill hawk, frame your brother, and take control of the farm." Diane said "Luckily we were in the right place at the right time." King said. The police then came in and handcuffed Jim who said "and I would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for you, you, you meddling kids and that filthy pig!" Hawk huffed "filthy?! Take him away officers!" They did just that. When their parents came to pick them up, king asked his mother "mom, can we adopt hawk?" "Maybe." "Don't worry ma'am I won't cause trouble at all and if it helps I'm self-housebroken." "..alright." The five of them cheered and hawk oinked thrice. (Flashback over) unknown to all of them, a henchman was watching them and he went to a control room, where he pushed a lever.

Diane was about to kick down the door when suddenly it opened by itself. Lights then started flashing. She looked behind her and ended up getting swept up by a coaster car. She went through the castle for a bit, then she saw a wall with metal spikes sticking out. She screamed, when suddenly it stopped, she sat still in shock for a few seconds before shakily getting off. She then asked walked into a room with a pillar in the middle. She walked to it and saw that there was a triangle thing on it. She was about to touch it, when it opened suddenly. There were weird markings on it. Diane smiled to herself and closed it and picked it up. Then there was a clicking sound and Diane saw that the floor was rising up into a triangle shaped cage. She ran quickly and jumped out at the last second and ran to find the others.

king and hawk looked at the table, more specifically the food on it. Suddenly it started moving and a voice said "time for the dinner show." The sausage links then started moving and king exclaimed "I got a bad feeling about this hawk!" "Me too!" The voice then came back on and said "now for the main course.. you!" The links then wrapped around the two and pulled them against the wall. Monstrous hands came out of the turkeys on the wall and started biting at them. "What do we do?!" Hawk screamed. "Do what we do best hawk, eat!" King replied. Hawk then took a bite out of the sausage only to spit it out "it's plastic!" "Why would you care you eat food off the floor!" "So do you!" After a bit, everything suddenly stopped. "We made it hawk, we're alive!" The wall then broke and the two fell backwards. "That was weird." Hawk said. "This reminds me of the time we tried to eat that guy in the hot dog costume." King said as the two untangled themselves and they laughed. They then looked back and saw a room. They walked in and king turned on a light. It looked like one of those sitcom TV sets. "Huh, lights, camera, action." King said jokingly when he saw a camera. Hawk burped and king said "I'll have what he's having." Hawk then burped louder. King looked over at him and asked "are you challenging me?" "Maybe." Hawk then burped loudly. King burped back and hawk then farted loudly. King then burped into his hands and made it look as if he was shaking a drink and 'drank' it. He then farted louder than hawk. Hawk laughed until he noticed that Diane, who was making a disgusted face, came in. He tried to signal to king to stop but he said "I'm not stopping till your hairs singed off." King continued until he noticed Diane about 10 seconds later. She then said "we're here, to solve, a mystery." "Yeah hawk." Hawk then made a 'seriously dude?' Face.

ban and gowther were walking until lights started flashing. Suits of armor then started moving. Their axes came down and gowther saw a coaster car coming towards them "watch out!" They started running and gowther narrowly saved ban from an axe. They ran through a pair of doors and pendulums with odd looking figures on them started swinging behind them. "Jinkies, they're moving towards us." They then ran away from the pendulums only to find that the door on the other side was shut off. "We're trapped!" Ban shouted. "Uh, try the bookcase!" Gowther shouted as he started pulling books off. "What, why?" "One has to open a secret passage or something!" "Gowther this is a ride!" "Do you have a better plan?!" Ban not seeing another option, simply started pulling books as well. The pendulums started getting even closer and ban pulled on a book that seemed to be a little stuck. When he pulled it out finally he stumbled back and saw that a pendulum was swinging towards him. "Ban!" Gowther shouted as he threw a book at him. Ban caught it and held it in front of him. The pendulum hit the book and sent ban flying through the glass behind him. He then fell into a control room and he hit a switch off. The pendulums stopped swinging and gowther walked to the broken window. "Ban, are you ok?" He said. Ban crawled up and gave gowther a reassuring smile. Gowther gave a sigh of relief and looked at the bookcase. "Last one." He pulled it and a wall rose up. He walked through it and met ban on the control room. There were TVs and desks. "Looks like a school." Ban commented. "In a spooky island castle ride? Weird." Gowther said. Ban then turned on the TVs. A woman appeared on the screen and said "hello there, I am using the language English, now that you are a young adult you must learn societal dos and donts. Interaction between young people is polite and casual. Two young men bumped into each other and one said "sorry bro." "I will crush your bones into dust!" The woman reappeared "let's see how the situation should be handled, remember today's young people have a language all their own. The two men reappeared and repeated the scenario but this time the other man said "no big whoop dog, did you catch that new vid on the box." Ban turned the TVs off. Gowther said "this seems to be a brainwashing facility of some kind, wherever there's a brainwashing cult there's always a power hungry leader." "Mondavarious." Ban suggested. "Then why would he have invited us here?" Then an alarm started blaring and ban said "let's get out of here." They ran out into the hall were they ran into the others. Diane said "I found a clue." Gowther responded "us too, we think this is a brainwashing facility for an evil cult." King then said "then maybe that's the secret relic thingy they worship." They then realized shadows coming towards them "what do we do?" Hawk asked, terrified. "I have a plan." Ban said. Arthur met with some minions who said "they have the Damon Ritus." Arthur grabbed him by the neck and said "for your sake they better not have gone far." Arthur threw him aside and said "it's time to bring in the big guns." They walked away and the gang, who were temporarily replacing the animatronics, sighed in relief. Then king said "uh oh." He then farted into a fire behind him. Hawk giggled

the gang ran out laughing while taking off their disguises. Gowther was now holding the Damon ritus. As they walked to the hotel ban exclaimed "god that was awesome!" Diane said "I know right, only howzer makes me feel that alive anymore!" Gowther then asked "who's howzer?" "My boyfriend." "Oh congratulations." Gowther said as his phone pinged. "Who's that?" King asked. Gowther looked at his phone and said "Nadja said she and the baby miss me." "Aww that sounds adorable." Diane said. "You have a baby?" King asked. "We will in three months." Gowther said excitedly. "Oh my god, what if when they're grown up your kid and hector get married." Ban said, Also excited. "Hector?" Hawk asked. "My son." "Oh my god, if that happened you guys would be in-laws." Diane said. "I know right!" Gowther said. Pretty soon they were all talking and laughing like they did when they were still a team.

when they got to the hotel they were greeted by mondavarious. "Mystery inc. you seem cheery, good news?" "Mr. mononucleosis we just hit the clue jackpot." Ban said. King then said "we have three suspects so far." Gowther stated the first "Escanor tauna, he thinks your park is built on enchanted ground." Diane went next "the voodoo man who tricked me into going to the castle." Then ban "and you." Mondavarious made a shocked face. Ban said "ok let's meet back here in an hour, I'll ask the staff if they've noticed anything unusual." Gowther said "I'll translate these inscriptions Diane found." Diane said "I'll research cults on the net." Gowther and Diane high-fived and went off. Mondavarious said "I'm a suspect?" "Yeah but it's mostly cause you freak me out a little." Ban said

Gowther opened the Damon ritus and got to work translating. Escanor began playing the piano. The man, whose name, gowther learned, was mael, came over and asked "hey, your friends ditch you?" "No I always did the brainwork." "So What is this thing?" "I think it's called the Damon ritus, this text is reminiscent of Latin so I can make some of it out, it looks like instructions to some ancient ritual." "You really like all this mystery solving stuff don't you?" "Yeah, this really takes me back to the good old days." Gowther said as he started reminiscing (Flashback) the gang was currently driving through the famous Route 66 in the boar hat. After they caught and unmasked the slaughterhouse ghost the mysteries just seemed to keep on coming, like they were drawn to the gang like moths to a flame. After they graduated they decided to go on the road to solve all the mysteries out there. They ended up becoming celebrities, they even gave themselves a title: mystery inc., Gowthers father called them that once and it just seemed to stick. Things were pretty perfect, but even they had a black sheep in their family. Merlin dinkley, gowthers aunt, when their travels took them to her she insisted that she go with them to see if they could catch a real monster. "How much longer til we get there, I have a feeling this one's real." Merlin asked. Gowther said "none of the others have been real, why would this one be?" Merlin made an angry face and said "shut up you tranny!" She then slapped him. The others made appalled faces and gowther whimpered "I'm not-" Ban then pulled over quickly and slammed on the brakes. Merlin then went forward and nearly hit the windshield since she wasn't wearing a seatbelt. "We warned you Merlin, never hit gowther again!" "You don't have the balls for this job! Nows the time you appoint me leader, or I'm out!" The other five looked at each other and nodded. The back door opened and a suitcase was thrown out, followed by Merlin. The doors shut and the boar hat drove off, leaving Merlin behind screaming for them to come back. (Flashback over) "I'm so sorry, that must've been terrible." "It was a long time ago, my friends helped me get over it." "I'm sorry if this is an inappropriate question but, where is she now?" "I don't really know, I haven't seen her since then, I just assumed she went home." Meanwhile Hawk sat near a window eating when he saw a monster. He jumped and ran, causing commotion as he did, and hid under a table. The other four looked in shock and ban walked over "Hawk this is the most embarrassing thing you've done since don knotts Christmas party." He whisper/shouted. He got on top of the table and said "listen there is no such thing as-" CRASH ban looked behind him and saw a roaring monster. Everyone started screaming and commotion erupted. Ban ran but tripped and was picked up by the monster. The monster breathed some sort of green mist and ban passed out. Hawk ran and gowther ended up getting his glasses knocked off by someone. "Where are my glasses?" A monster then gave them to him. He put them on and the monster picked him up. Gowther trembled and said "jinkies." The monster breathed and gowther passed out. "Gowther!" King shouted, he ran towards him but was held back by helbram. A monster crashed through the wall behind them and they dove behind the bar. "This is the opposite of how I thought this day would go." King said. Diane then noticed the Damon ritus sitting on the bar and ran for it. Escanor also ran for it but Diane beat him to it. She then mockingly stuck her tongue out at him, and he started towards her threateningly, but was stopped by running people. Diane put the Damon ritus in her bag and ran to Mondavarious. "Don't worry sir I'll protect you." Then a monster arm erupted from the ground and grabbed him. "Mr. Mondavarious?!" The monster reached for Diane but she ran. She was followed by helbram and king, the latter screamed "Hawk, where are you!" Hawk was in a suitcase. He started walking when a monster lifted the suitcase off of him. He turned and screamed. The monster swiped at him but hawk made a stop gesture. He took the monsters hand and started massaging it. He then bit off its nails. The monster screamed and hawk ran off. Meanwhile Diane, king and helbram ran into a hall and Diane asked "where's hawk?!" "I hope he's ok." After king said that hawk rode up behind them on a luggage trolley which swept them up. Hawk looked behind him and blew a raspberry at two monsters that were chasing them. The three humans saw that they were going towards a window and screamed "hawk!" "Brace yourselves!" They then went through the window and bounced off of a canopy. The monsters then jumped after them, only to go through it and hit the ground.

the monsters walked while carrying their unconscious victims. Hidden behind a game booth the four remaining watched. King whispered "these things definitely are not a brainwashing cult." Helbram whispered back "why are they taking everyone?" Diane then whispered "only one way to find out, we follow them." Hawk then whispered "we're gonna what?" "It's the only way we can save ban and gowther." "Why do we have to save them?" Hawk asked. King replied "ban has a son and gowther has a one on the way." "Why do you have to go and make an excellent point?" "Besides, ban and gowther always figured out everything, now it's our turn." After a few minutes of following, they ended up at the ring. The monsters were going into the cave. Helbram pulled out his phone and said "I'm calling someone for help." "No, I got this." Diane said. The cave then closed. "Or not." Helbram called the coast guard and they said they'd send someone tomorrow. The group then went to the beach were they fell asleep.

the next morning Diane was woken up by a volleyball. She sat up and looked around, and saw that the damage from last night was gone. She woke everyone up and king said "what happened?" "Yo, ball!" Diane looked over And saw a girl along with others by a net. She picked up the ball and threw it back to them. The group walked to the pool area, where a band was currently playing. "Ok, let's split up, we need to find ban and gowther." Diane said. Helbram said "I'll go this way." He walked off. King and hawk went another way. Diane started walking and after a bit she found gowther on a beach chair. "Gowther!" She said. He turned to her and she realized something "you're not wearing your glasses." "Why would I be wearing any?" He asked with a smile. "Gowther what's going on?" "I'm just getting my tan on, is that a crime?" He closed his eyes and faced upwards again "What about the, creatures?" She asked. He opened his eyes and sat up slowly while facing her. "I do remember one thing." He said in a threateningly calm tone. Diane started to get scared. He stood up out of the chair and started moving towards her slowly. "That scream." "Scream?" Diane whimpered out. He nodded as his face became hostile looking "kinda like..." while all that was happening hawk and king found ban. "Ban!" King said. Ban turned to them and said "whaddup dog, and, pig." "Ban what happened last night?" Hawk asked. "Man we partied like there wusn gon be no next day, know what I'm sayin bro?" Ban replied. King and hawk looked at each other and said simultaneously "no." Meanwhile, "kinda like..." Gowther then roared along with the others around him. Diane ran but was caught and restrained by escanor, Arthur then took her bag and took out the Damon ritus. The roars were heard by king and hawk, who turned around, and when they turned back they saw ban roar along with others, with green mist. The two screamed and ran. "Get the pig." Ban said. King and hawk ran into a shed and boarded the door shut. Then ban and other people started breaking through the windows and walls. "Why's van in a bad mood?!" "He's not in a bad mood, he's possessed!" "King bikes!" "Yeah yikes!" "No, bikes!" King looked over and saw that hawk removed a cover revealing two quads. King smiled and the two got on them and drove through the wall causing the people outside to jump out of the way. They sped down the same route the tour bus went through until they saw Helbram. The stopped and Helbram said "you're ok." "Get on quick." King said. Helbram got on and some possessed people jumped out behind them. They sped off but one grabbed onto the back of kings quad. They drove like that until they managed to shake him off. "Duck!" King said. Helbram ended up getting hit by a branch, and his face became disfigured. Hawk yelped. Helbram pulled his face back to normal. They stopped at the ring and king and Helbram embraced. Hawk then started oinking aggressively at Helbram. "Hawk what're you doing?" "Helbrams a man in a mask!" "Hawk-" Helbram said, hawk started oinking at him again, only to have his ear pulled by king. "Step off hawk!" "King, you're whipped!" "Really why don't you-" they moved around arguing until they were at the cave. Then suddenly a trap door opened beneath hawk and he fell in. "Hawk!" King shouted down the hole. "I've gotta save him, you stay here I'll be back." "But it's too dangerous." Helbram said. "I have to, he's my best friend." He then jumped into the hole and slid down onto a sandy floor. "Hawk." He whisper/shouted. "Hawk where are you?" He then walked behind some rocks and saw Diane on a chair. "Let me out!" A pincer then went towards her chest (Not like that. You sickos). The pincer then removed her soul and king barely stifled a scream. "Hey put back my spirit thing!" Dianes soul kept shouting until she was put into a vat. A monster then came out from a pit and started possessing her. At this point king was biting his lip and covering his mouth. The possession was finished and everyone walked out. King, after making sure no one was there, went to the vat. There were a ton of souls in there. "King!" King heard a voice. "King!" He looked down and saw Gowthers soul calling out to him. "Don't worry I'll save you." King then looked for the right soul and after finding him he pulled him out. "Thanks king, it's so good to see you, now let me go so I can get back to my body, then find the others and get out of here before they find you." King nodded and let him go. Gowthers soul flew off and king turned back to the vat. He saw bans soul. He grabbed it and ban said "king did someone spike my drink or something please say yes." "Ban, your a protoplasmic head for fucks sake." "I know I know." King threw his soul and it flew off. He then saw Dianes soul and got her. "Put me back king I'll find a way out." "How?" "I'll, Uh." King then gave her a 'that's what I thought' face and let go. He looked for hawk but couldn't find him. He decided to look for him with the others and started walking out. He saw the Damon ritus and quickly took it.

the currently possessed gowther was walking into the castle ride with the others through the back entrance when he heard "jinkies!" He turned and Gowthers soul flew into his mouth, sending him back. His chest started glowing and the monster possessing him was forced out. It roared until it started glowing and it exploded screaming. Gowther put his glasses back on and got back up. He started walking in and heard something. He looked back and saw a soul coming. He saw Diane inside and started walking. "Yoyo, yeah you, yo." Gowther said. Diane walked toward him and when she was close enough he pushed her into a room. The soul flew inside and into her mouth. She stumbled back into a chair and gowther shut the door and rushed to the window. A monster came out of Diane and started walking towards her. "You need some sunlight." Gowther said before opening the blinds. The monster started screaming and glowing, it writhed for a bit before exploding. "That's one part of the mystery solved, the creatures can't survive in sunlight so they need our bodies, like SPF 1,000." Diane was looking at herself shakily. "Diane you ok?" "Yeah, but I'm not Diane!" Ban said. "Ban?!" Meanwhile, possessed ban walked through the hall when suddenly Dianes soul flew into him, knocking him onto his back. Back to gowther and ban. "I couldn't get to my body I panicked, god why am I in this body?!" Gowther put his hands on bans shoulders to calm him down "hey, we're gonna find the others and sort this out ok." "Ok." Ban nodded shakily. They walked out.

ban and gowther walked through the woods when they saw bans body. "Diane?" "Thank god I found you guys, how do we-" "please tell me you're all you." They saw king. King then put the Damon ritus in the center of them. Almost immediately, their souls flew out of them and flew around for a bit, then they went back in the bodies. Diane said excitedly "hey I'm me again." "No your me." Gowther in bans body said. Diane looked down at herself and saw that she was wearing Gowthers skirt and clothes "wait then whose me." "Uh, why am I in a skirt? And Diane do you not eat?" King in Dianes body said. "My dance company has a weight limit." She answered. "Gowther what's going on." Ban in kings body asked. "If I'm right, because of the instability of the Damon ritus our souls will continue switching bodies until-" their souls flew out and in again. "Until our souls are back in the correct body." "How long will that take?" Diane in kings body asked. Their souls flew out and in again. "I'm me!" Ban said. "So am I!" Diane said. "Me too!" King said. "See, what'd I tell you." Gowther said. Then there was an explosion in the distance. Everyone jumped and ran towards it, Gowther grabbed the Damon ritus.

they got to the beach and saw the voodoo man in front of a fire. "I know how to handle him." Diane said "Hey, what's up." She said as she walked to him. "How masterful." Gowther said sarcastically as the guys followed her. "I'm trying to do a ritual, it's important that I get the right ingredients it's the only way I can protect myself from the creatures." "The creatures?!" The gang exclaimed. "Yeah, I have a feeling they're about to perform the darkopalypse ritual." "Darkopalypse?" "Yeah." "That's what the Damon ritus describes, they're gonna use the souls as an energy source, and to complete the ritual they need a purely good soul." Gowther said. The voodoo man then said "once the ritual is performed the creatures will rule earth for 10,000 years, that's why I'm doing this ritual, to protect myself." The voodoo man went into his house. "The creatures are taking over the world?!" Diane exclaimed. "But they need a pure human soul, where would they get that?" Ban said "It doesn't say human." Kings eyes widened as he said "hawk." Gowther said "if they need hawk, then the person behind all this is the one who brought him here!" Meanwhile, hawk was in a cage when suddenly it opened. He was brought to an office and was greeted by Mondavarious. "Hello, hawk snack?" He offered. "Take them and shove them up your-" he was cut off by Mondavarious yanking on his ear. He yelped in pain. "I tried being civil, but if you want to do this the hard way that's fine, I'll cut to the chase, you're going to be a sacrifice." "What!? I'm not doing that." "It's your choice, but if you say no, then let's just say, your friends won't like the consequences." Mondavarious said threateningly. Hawk gasped and said "you wouldn't." "Are you sure about that?" Hawk realized he was serious and begrudgingly said "ok, just please don't hurt them." Mondavarious smiled sinisterly. Back to the gang, "if that asshole wants hawk then why'd he invite us?" Ban asked. "Who cares! We have to save Hawk!" King exclaimed. "King our experience is with weirdos in masks." Diane said. "You don't understand! I never got a successful job or got married or had kids like you guys! I live in the boar hat on a beach, I work at a snack shack and most of my relationships just end in breakup sex after a month or so! Hawk is all I have!" King shouted and turned away from the others. They looked at him and then each other. Ban walked to him and said. "I'm not married." Ban said. King looked at ban. "You're not?" Gowther went over and said. "Neither am I." Diane walked over and said "I made it clear to howzer that I wasn't gonna get married." King then turned to them and asked "why?" "You didn't forget the promise we made did you?" Ban asked. (Flashback) the 16 year old mystery solving gang sat around a campfire when king said "stepdad number four left yesterday." "Oh king I'm so sorry." Diane said as she hugged him. "Love sucks." King commented. "No, love's good, it seems like it's marriage that messes it all up." Gowther said. "Yeah what's with that?" Hawk asked. "Money mostly, but a lot of other stuff." King said. Ban then stood up and said "you know what? Let's make a promise, we can date, have boyfriends and girlfriends, have kids, but no matter what we'll never ever get married." The others thought for a bit and stood up. "Alright." They said simultaneously. "Let's seal this with a high five." Ban said. They then high fived, forgetting that there was a burning fire beneath their hands and hawks ear. Five minutes later the gang was sitting with ice packs on their hands/ear. "Let's also promise to never go near an active heat source without proper protection." Gowther said. Everyone agreed. (Flashback over) "you guys kept that promise?" King said dumbfounded. "Of course we did." Ban said. "Friends Don't break promises." Diane said. King smiled and said "Friends also apologize to each other." "Yeah, like for taking credit that belonged to you." Ban said. "And for making fun of you for getting caught all the time." Gowther said. "And for leaving you behind." Diane said. They all then broke into sobs and hugged, blubbering out apologies and 'I forgive yous'. After that, king took something from his pocket, a bag of hawk snacks. "Whaddya say we eat a hawk snack and save our best friend." They each took a hawk snack and ate it. King extended his hand, which ban put his on, followed by Diane, followed by Gowther. "Let's get jinkie with it!"

After getting everything they needed, the newly reunited mystery inc. was putting the final touches on their trap. "Ok, we use the pulleys to tip the vat over-" Ban said. "-then Diane will open the air vents and release the disco skull-" Gowther said. "-the light will refract off of the skull-" Diane said. "- the creatures will explode, I'll find hawk and we'll have saved him and the world." King said. They then heard drums. "Crap it's starting." Ban said. "King attach this to the vat." Gowther said as he threw down a rope. King caught it and started tying it to the soul vat. When he was finished he said "good to go." Unfortunately the rope somehow got caught on a hook on his belt. He tried to stop ban and gowther from jumping, which would subsequently pull the rope but his cries fell on deaf ears. They jumped and the rope came loose and pulled king up and he ended up hitting the ceiling. The hook above him broke and he and Diane started falling. Diane managed to grab onto a rock ledge and king ended up flying into a man dressed in ritual clothing. Ban and Gowther saw people coming in and Gowther said "hide the Damon ritus." They hid it behind a backpack. King got up and heard something. "Hey watch it!" It was hawk. "Hawk." King whispered. Drumming started and the possessed people started dancing and chanting. Gowther and ban started following along poorly. Diane looked down and ban gestured for her to go. She nodded and started crawling through the tunnels. King put on the mans ritual outfit and started walking, only to get cut off by some possessed people waking past him. He started dancing too and noticed that the man was awake and walking towards him. He then brought up his fist while still dancing and then brought his leg up to his groin. He then did the running man which elbowed him in the face until he passed out again. He then went to hawk and saw him on a palanquin, which he helped pick up. Ban and Gowther were still dancing until everyone pointed, they then realized everyone was pointing at them. Ban said nervously "Uh, what's up, did you all forget the next part or something, I think it went like, uh." He and gowther started dancing while moving away but were intercepted by guards. "Ban, Gowther, thank you for returning the Damon ritus." Mondavarious said from an edge while the Damon ritus was given to him. "And now, the sacrifice!" Hawk was carried, trembling in fear until king whispered "psst, Hawk." "King? What are you doing here?" "We're here to save you." "We?" "The gangs back together." "But I'm doing this to save all of you." "If you're sacrificed it'll do more harm than good, hey, who's your best friend?" "You are." "And who's mine?" "Me." "That's right, and friends help each other, now let's do what we do best, run out of here screaming bloody murder." "Alright on the count of three." "One, two-" king was cut off by the pincer, which was being operated by Escanor, going into hawk. It then pulled out hawks soul which then said "oh crap!" The Damon ritus, which was now in Mondavariouss chest, opened and the souls in the vat rose out with hawk. King was restrained and Mondavarious said "through the Damon ritus, I shall absorb the energy source." The souls then started going into the Damon ritus as King, Gowther, and Ban watched in horror. "And now! To complete my transformation! I shall absorb the pure one! Ultimate power shall be mine!" "No one absorbs my best friend!" King head butted the guard restraining him and jumped to grab onto the pincer. As the pincer went towards Mondavarious, king kicked him in the throat, sending him flying off the edge. Hawks soul managed to get out of the pincer and he flew, knocking over several henchmen, including the ones restraining Gowther and Ban. Gowther said "let's get the Damon ritus!" And the two ran to Mondavarious. King let go of the pincer and ran back to hawks body. Hawks soul reentered his body. As Gowther reached for the Damon ritus, but found that it was hot and quickly retracted his hand. "Ftgjgddhtwefitwafphwahj" they heard Mondavariouss voice but it was speaking gibberish. Ban noticed that beneath his shirt collar was a broken voice modifier, then he noticed that there was a cut on his neck but no blood. "It's a mask." Ban said. Gowther reached out and pulled it off, revealing... merlin. She said "Hello, been a while hasn't it." Ban and Gowther had wide eyes and Gowther said in a slightly fearful voice "aunt Merlin." "Yep, and I've absorbed enough energy-" she got up and started changing "-to rule the world with my power and my army-" she started getting bigger and more monstrous looking as her clothes started ripping and Ban and Gowther started backing away "-and I brought mystery inc. here to witness my moment of triumph! All I need to complete my transformation is-" she finished transforming and roared out "-HAWK!!" Hawk, king, ban, and gowther all looked at her in shock until Merlin said "SEIZE THEM!!" King and hawk ran and Merlin knocked back ban and gowther.

Diane got to the top of the hill and ran for the lever for the air vents. She struggled to open it, then froze when she felt tapping on her shoulder. She saw Arthur who said "hey." Before throwing a punch, which she dodged, she then roundhouse kicked him. Meanwhile hawk and king were running from Merlin, Gowther told ban "we have to tip the vat." "How?" "The pincer." Gowther answered and ran towards it, but got caught by two henchmen. Ban then got a rope with a hook at the end and started swinging at them. Meanwhile, Diane got body slammed by Arthur, who was about to elbow her, but she rolled out of the way and he hit the hard ground. Meanwhile, Merlin grabbed hawk and lifted him up, she laughed until hawk began gagging, and he threw up in her face. She dropped him and he was caught by king, who lost his footing and fell back into a hole. Ban hit the henchmen holding Gowther, who then grabbed the rope and hit two men who were running at them. Meanwhile, Diane bashed Arthurs head. Meanwhile, Merlin was looking down into the hole and yelled "COME OUT YOU DAMN BEATNIKS!!" King and hawk backed away and jumped when they heard "hey." The turned and saw Helbram, who grabbed them by their throats and held them against the wall. "Crap." King managed to say. "GIVE ME THE PIG!!" Merlin ordered Helbram, who lifted hawk to her. Meanwhile, Arthur put Diane in a chokehold. Meanwhile, Merlin said "TAKE HIS SOUL NOW!!" The pincer went towards hawk and he whimpered. Meanwhile, Arthur said mockingly "caught again huh?" Diane then gave a growl of anger and managed to bite down on Arthur's hand, enough to draw blood. He screamed out in pain and loosened his grip on her, allowing diane to elbow him in the face. She then ran away, then ran back, jumped, and kicked him. He stumbled back until he fell through the air vents. Merlin looked when she heard the crashing and saw Arthur fall onto the soul vat, which tipped over freeing the souls inside it. Merlin screamed out in anger as the souls returned to their bodies, including Helbrams. Diane pulled a rope which dislodged the disco skull from the hole it was in and tied the rope to something. The creatures then came out and started screaming and exploding. Ban hit Escanor over the head with a rock, rendering him unconscious. "MYSTERY INC!! THIS ISN'T OVER!!" Merlin roared while still holding hawk. Ban and Gowther backed up, then king came over and took control of the pincer. "Yes it is you BITCH!" He shouted as he ripped the Damon ritus out of her. Souls flew out as she detransformed. The three ran down to her and hawk, who was back on the ground. "You think that's it? It'll take more than that to-" Merlin was cut off as Gowther kicked her square in the face. All of the formerly possessed college students started cheering. Diane came down by a rope and the guys all ran over and hugged her. "We did it!" Diane exclaimed with excitement. "Hell yeah we did, we're mystery damn inc.!" Ban said. They then heard pounding and King went to a panel and pulled it open. Out came the real Mondavarious. "Oh thank you, that tart put me in there two years ago when she showed up at an interview, thank you so much!" Mael then went to Gowther and tackle hugged him and said "thank you so much." "You're welcome." Hawk then asked Ban, Diane, Gowther, and King "is the gang really back together?" "Yeah, we are." Gowther said. King said "for good." Hawk then went "woohoo!!" And hugged all of them, causing them all to fall back. They laughed as they sat up. Helbram went up to king and hugged him. "You saved my life." "No problem." They looked in each other's eyes, and kissed. "Aww." The others said. When they were done Helbram said "and thank you guys." Hawk then hugged him and said "welcome to the family." The others joined the hug.

helicopters touched down on the island. Out of most came the authorities, out of one came Jericho, who was holding hector, Nadja, and howzer, all of whom went to their significant others who hugged them and introduced them to their friends as they walked out of the hotel. A crowd cheered as they walked to news reporters, one of whom asked "Ban, can you tell us how you solved the case." "Well you see it started when.." he then looked at Gowther. "You know, I think Gowther should take this one." Gowther looked at him in surprise, stepped forward and said "thanks to the combined efforts of mystery inc. we discovered that the villain behind this mystery was Merlin Dinkley, who somehow became even more of a jerk thanks to the power of the Damon ritus." Everyone chuckled, except for Merlin, who lunged at the gang, but was restrained by the police. "I'll get you all for this!!" Merlin said. Diane responded "you couldn't even pull this off, how'll you do that?" "Screw you Diane!!" King then told her "you know there are better anger management methods than trying to destroy humanity." Merlin was put in a helicopter along with Arthur and Escanor and she yelled "and I would've gotten away with it too if wasn't for you meddling cun-" she was cut off by the helicopter door getting shut. Everyone gasped, except for the gang, having heard worse from her. A reporter then asked them "now that mystery inc. is back together do you plan on investigating the royal ghosts that have been terrorizing Buckingham palace?" Ban answered "whatever case it is, mystery inc. will be there." He extended his arm out. King put his hand on top of bans and said "solving mysteries." Diane did the same and said "righting wrongs." Gowther followed suit and said "looking for clues." Hawk put his ear on their hands and said "and kicking butt." Hawk oinked three times and on the third they threw their hands up and went "woohoo!!" Everyone cheered and applauded at the reformation of the beloved mystery solvers.
