2. Alexei Marko

Alexei Marko Voynavitch of Novi Sad was born on October 1908. He was only distantly related to both the Andrassy family of Hungary and the Voynavitzev family of Ukraine. His parents Marko Voynavitch and Linda von Hagen, who were college friends, got married in 1906 and conceived him on a one night stand.

Linda, the daughter of Nikolai Kasich von Hagen and Eugenius's aging Mother Anya Shostakovich Cassadine of Greece, was a stubborn girl. She never met him again once Alexei reached 14 years old.

Alexei was a brat but later mellowed once he met an even bigger brat, Eugenia Polanski of Paris. They then married in about 1929. They later had stillbirths, with only two long term children, Maxime and Tyron, surviving into adulthood.

He then became a grandfather with the birth of Laszlo and Lena Voynavitch in 1960. He then lived a lucky later life in the 1960s and 70s, becoming an aristo in exile when he died at 76 in 1984.
