Chapter 28:

3rd POV

Vanessa was sitting by the widow looking at her husband coming home from his trip to Europe. He didn't want Vanessa traveling as much since she was in high-risk pregnancy because of the first miscarriage. She looked over at the roses that Randy had bought her. Her mind did wonder though. Did he have short memory? Did he remember the abuse she dealt with him? All these questions started to pop up in her head. Its been a week since she fainted, and Randy found out about the baby. All these things were happening, the baby, her love for Seth, and her craving lust of Roman and Dean. Her touch her four-month stomach and close her eyes wishing that someone it wasn't there. She didn't want to go through this process again especially with Randy possibly being the father of her child, she also didn't know how Seth was with kids either. Then this sick feeling in her heart came about. She was thinking what Randy would do if Seth is the father. Hell, what would he do if he knew she was having an affair. Her heart started to race faster until something knocked on the door….

"Come in" Vanessa said from across the room still sitting by the window.

"Hey, hey, hey. It me, the one and only." Robert came through the door like a male model. Vanessa shook her head smiling at her best friend.

"Honey why are you sitting in this darkness." Robert said and started to open the curtains to get some sunlight in the room. Vanessa was happy he was here because she to have a panic attack.

"Thank you for being here." She said softly

"Honey, you know I will always be here, especially now for my future god-child." He pointed to the bundle of joy.

"Let's see if it goes good, not just this but..." she looked at Robert and he already knew what she was thinking.

"We will get to that part until it comes. Until now you need to relax and enjoy."

"You know he will him if…" Vanessa breath begin to shorten

"Beauti, breath, breath. He won't put your hands on you, not with the boys around." Robert said to her as he was doing breathing excises with her. He kept breathing in and out with her until she clamed down.

"Now, are you feeling okay?" Vanessa nodded her head.

"When are we finding out the gender?" he looked at her with excitement and she replied "Not until this Friday. Of course, Randell won't be there…" she saddens at the thought. Even though her marriage has been hell, this baby might be his. She wouldn't dare take away the child from him.

"Why are you worried about him. Clearly, he's not worried enough to be there, beside the real baby father will be there." Robert wink at her and she quietly shush him.

"Please be quite about that part. If anybody hears that they will run start to Randy." Vanessa said with fear in her voice.

*KNOCK*

They both look at the door Vanessa yelled "Come in."

The door opened and a smiled light up Vanessa face, as her eyes meet with her lovers.

"Hello sweetheart." Seth said to her coming into the room. Her heart melted when he called her that.

"Sweetheart?" she looked at him playfully

"What? You don't like it." He said coming up to her

"Maybe, maybe not." She said playfully and continued "But I do like the sound of that." She was still by the window as she put her arms around his neck and he lean in for a kiss which she happily received.

"Please get a room." Robert said as he closes his eyes from the scene

"We are already in the room, if you don't like it get out." Seth said to Robert but looked at Vanessa as he said it licking his lips at her.

"How rude. Any Vanessa let me know what time you are leaving for the appointment, so I can be there." Robert said as he left the room.

"Now we are finally alone." Seth said with lust in his force. He wanted her right then and there but know anyone could come in. That's when he touched her belly with both of his hands and said

"I never thought I would be a father…" he touch her belly softly and carelessly.

"You know it might not be yours. After that I understand if you don't want nothing to deal with m…" Seth interrupted her with a soft kiss and looked in her eyes and said "Nothing can keep me away from you…nothing" that when they shared a passionate kiss. She was falling deeper and deeper in love with this man. He broke form the kiss and started smiling

"Have you thought of any names yet." He said

"Well, no not really."

"Well, maybe after we found out the gender on Friday. We can start…together" he said firmly

*Knock* Knock*

Seth immediately step away from Vanessa quietly as she tried to recollect herself. Seth moved 5 feet away from Vanessa, so it wouldn't look like anything went down between them.

"Come in." she said

It was the last person she wanted to see…Randell.

"Hey honey." He looked at Rollins and nodded at him and rush over to Vanessa "I hope you are ok." He looked at her with concerned.

"No honey, I'm alright" she said softly. As he kissed her. Seth face tried to look non-emotional but his heart was pounding as soon as Randy kissed her. Seth wanted Vanessa to leave him, wanted her to walk about from the danger that were lurking in these halls. Randy looked back at Seth, trying to figure out why he hasn't left yet and he looked at Vanessa

"It's okay Seth, we can leave us." Vanessa said, and Seth hesitated to go but he did.

"Honey I will be gone for 2 weeks in London talking about treaties and what other not. Lisa will be joining with me of course and will keep things in order for me."

"I know that's not what else she will be doing for you." Vanessa said under her breath and Randy caught it.

"I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that." Randy tighten his grip on her arm and let go and continued "Baby, I love you. You must know that." Randy said as a tear was coming down on Vanessa face with wanting to believe that.

"What's wrong?" he said, and she said nothing…

"Vanessa…talk to me. Let me guess, you don't want what happen to you last time." She looked at him and confess

"You know me so well…" she faintly smiled

"Well, we knew each other since we teenagers. You think after all those years I didn't pay attention?" he smiled at her and it was the first time she saw a genuine smile on his face.

"Whatever you go through. I will go with you."

"The last time you left me…all alone in that room after they said our baby girl was gone…" she said sternly with him

"Listen Vanessa, people cope with these differently an.."

"And you left me!" Vanessa interrupted his sentence and continued. "How did you think I felt? You automatically walked out the room with look like disgust…"

"If that what you think I'm sorry." Randy said, her and she felt exhausted from this conversation.

"Look, this time is going to be different." He kisses her one last time and she accepted it. He looked at her one more time and left the room….

Why was she feeling this? Why is she feeling some loved for him? They have known each other for years and leaving him with just be…She shook her head not wanting to think of that thought. At that moment she knew if this was Seth child, she must tell Randy. If the child is Randy…she must break things off with Seth…

11:00 am, Friday

At the Hospital:

"Good morning Mrs. Orton how are you doing today?" Doctor Cena said to Vanessa who was laying down. Robert was in the room with her. As for Seth he was in the room but by the door. Dean and Roman was outside the room.

"I'm doing alright. Just nervous." She said as she looked at Seth who secretly blew her a kiss. She smiled heavily and mouthed "Thank you" to him.

"Well, are you ready to find out the gender" the doctor smiled at her and she nodded her head.

"EEEEE! Omg omg. I have been waiting for this since forever." Robert said out loud

"I told you about this earlier this week." Vanessa said in confusion

"Yeah, but it felt like an eternity." He replied.

"If that's the case, let not wait any longer." Doctor Cena said to them.

He was getting everything together including the monitor. Vanessa nerves went away as she kept looking at Seth with lust in her eyes. Every day she was becoming more and more horny. IT was very unusually for here. Even in the first pregnancy she didn't feel this way.

"This is going to be really cold" the doctor warns Vanessa before putting the cold jelly on her stomach. He started to move around the stomach and looking at the screen seeing any sign of the gender. IT was 2 minutes before he said something

"There he goes…" said the doctors when he finally found what he was looking for.

"He…." Vanessa said as she looked at the doctor and he nodded yes.

"It's a boy?" she said softly

"OMG! I have a nephew!" Robert said proudly. She looked over at Seth who lean over to the screen in amazement.

"And there is the heartbeat" the doctor turned on a button and a consent beating was expose to the room. Vanessa had tears in her eyes hearing the baby's heartbeat. She looked over at Seth one more time and she saw a tear coming out of his eye. She never saw him like that before and she smiled and said to herself "It has to be his…it just has to be…"
