A few days ago the paladins had been on a planet called Hamza Niego. The air on the planet wasn't the best for humans and soon the paladins started to notice this.
" Coran, I have a headache..." Hunk was complaining as he and the rest of his teammates got to the lounge, where he and Allura were sitting. " Oh my, what happened to all of you?" Coran said as he went over to help everyone. Allura went to the infirmary to get some scanners and when she got back it just got worse. " How long have you guys been feeling like this?" Allura said as she was hovering around all of them, checking for temperatures and sicknesses. " A few days... Or at least since we left that planet." Lance said as he was rolling around on the couch, trying to grab something that didn't exist. " Lance, stop that!" Allura exclaimed as she saw what Lance was doing. " We got to get them to a hospital princess!" Coran said. He lifted them to the infirmary with the help of Allura and soon the castle was on its way to a near planet where both Coran and Allura knew, there was a hospital that could help the paladins.
" I see the planet now!" Coran said as he was speeding up the castle a bit. The trip to this planet had taken them a few hours at least and by this time, the paladins were not looking the slightest better. The castle landed and Coran ran to get some help for transporting the paladins inside.
" Hello my name is Coran, and we landed on your planet because I and my princess have some sick paladins that are very sick!" Coran said as he entered the building. Coran got greeted with non-friendly faces and it made Coran want to scream. " How can we help you?" A Hikari came out of the shadows and was now standing in front of Coran. "I and the princess of Altea have some sick paladins, who need help because they are very sick. I was wondering if your people might help us?" Coran said as he was trying to look as friendly as possible. He didn't want these creatures to get the wrong impression and especially not that he was a spy or anything like that. " We help you on one condition..." The Hikari said. Coran was very nervous about what this condition would be but they needed help and nodded the answer. " You and this princess must be locked in a cell and may not interrupt the healers as they do their process. Then we will determine how long you will be in there and when you will get out, and of course, we will bring you food." The Hakari said with a cold grin on her face. Coran was frozen and was thinking so his head would explode with thoughts. This wasn't the smartest thing they would do but it wasn't about them anymore, it was about getting the paladins back to themselves as soon as possible. " Ok, I will get the princess and you get the paladins. Then we have a deal am I right?" Coran told the Hakari.
Allura and Coran were pushed into the cell with no explanation, of what they would do to the paladins or something at all. At least they got to see that they were taken in properly, since the cell door had a window on it and they could see the paladins rolled into the building, on gurneys. Each paladin had oxegyn masks and an IV attached to them so Coran and Allura knew they were safe. " We will treat your paladins quickly but they will need time to recover so if you think it takes time, you now know why." The guard Hakari said as he passed the cell door. " What if these people aren't going to help them, or what if they start experimenting on them!" Allura said as she was walking back and forth in the cell. Coran knew that the princess was stressed but they could do anything now because they were stuck in a cell.
A few days later the paladins had started to regain consciousness again and Keith was the first to wake.
" W-Where am I?" He said as he braced for the sharp light that was shining in his eyes. His hand had lots of tubes connected to himself and he got scared at first but he remembered why they were here. As Keith was more alert now to his surroundings he noticed that he was restrained to the bed and that there were people on their way to his room. " I should pretend that I'm asleep..." Keith thought to himself as he did that, he heard two people enter the room. " Rucka, how is the boy doing?" Keith heard one voice say. " Well, I know that he is fine because he is awake and listening to us speaking at this very moment." The other voice said. The two local people knew that he was awake so he had to open his eyes. " Why am I restrained to the bed?" Keith questioned the bigger Hakari. His instinct told him that these people weren't nice people and he had to get answers. " Well you might already know, but you are part Galra and therefore we have to keep you restrained so you don't go crazy and kill people like us." The smaller Hakari said with a cold face pointed to Keith. He already knew that he was Galra so that wasn't any news to himself but he wasn't dangerous... Or was he?
" Rucka, give me the sedation!" The larger Hakari said. The smaller or now Rucka went over and picked up a syringe from the table next to where Keith was. " What are you going to do!?" Keith screamed as he started tugging the restraints but got pushed down by the bigger Hakari. He knew by now that these people weren't good people and he had to get out of there and save his friends. "It's going to be over before you know it..." Rucka said with an evil grin. Keith saw with fear how the needle went in his IV tube and soon he was asleep. He couldn't have done anything to stay awake and now he was helpless. When Keith woke up again he found himself restrained to a medical table in some sort of lab. All his memories went back to Shiro and he started to scream. " Will you shut up you worthless pig!" Rucka came into the room with the bigger Hakari behind him. " You have to let me go! I have no information or anything that you need, so you got to let me go!" Keith said with his voice in a muddy cloud. His head was groggy and as he was looking at the bigger Hakari, Keith finally stopped writhing around and gave up because he knew it was pointless and no one would save him. " Now because you are half Galra, we are going to test you to see how galran you are," Rucka said as he held up a scalpel, that was shining in the bright light above Keith. Keith knew this was going to end badly, as he prepared himself to be played with. " Ahhhhhh!" Keith screamed loudly as the blade of the scalpel cut through his chest. The blade kept on going deeper into his flesh and soon he thought he would faint. After a few more tests, Keith was in so bad shape that he actually fainted. The bigger Hakari brought him back to his bed, restrained him and left Keith there without looking back.
As Shiro woke up he found himself in a hospital room, but when he looked closer and got more aware he saw the room merged into his nightmare. " N-No..." Shiro started breathing heavily when he heard footsteps outside the lab.
" Now, project Kuron what a pleasure to see you again," Rucka said as he was approaching Shiro's side on the examining table in the center of the room. " What do you want?!" Shiro said, with his anger burning in his body. He knew what Rucka and Leik wanted already, but he wouldn't give them it. " So, what did the stupid earthlings think of your weapon Kuron?" Leik said as he was touching the metal on Shiro's bionic arm, giving a weird sensation for Shiro to feel. " We were just thinking, to upgrade your arm a bit..." Rucka said as he now was pointing a syringe towards Shiro's neck. " Please don't!" Shiro started screaming as he remembered how they did this to him the last time. Shiro stopped screaming as he felt the needle, enter his veins and soon he was asleep. When Shiro woke up again, he quickly looked to see if his arm was okay, but as he saw his arm he wanted to throw up. Where his arm should have been, Rucka and Leik had changed it to a disgusting looking one. " The last one was better..." Shiro said, thinking no one could hear him. Shiro was so tired from what had happened, that he fell asleep but still being alert if anything would happen.
" You three are free to go... Your injuries have healed as they should but you have to carefully still." A Hakari said as the three paladins went out of the hospital. " We have to find Keith and Shiro!" Pidge said as she rushed back inside, fighting with the staff. The hospital staff was strong people and soon Pidge was on the floor, unconscious but yet alive. " PIDGE!" Lance screamed as he charged at the staff. Lance felt it was useless and ran the other direction towards the cells where Allura and Coran were. " Guys I'm going to get you out!" Lance said as he saw the staff not far away, trying to get to him. " I have to make sure you can out so take the key, and I will hold them off. Run downstairs and look for Shiro and Keith!" Lance screamed as he gave the key to Coran from under the door. After that, Lance went to take down the staff that was trying to get to him, and he saw that the aliens successfully made it to where Keith and Shiro were. " KEITH, SHIRO!" Allura screamed as she saw the two paladins laying in the hospital bed, restrained and unconscious. Hunk came in to help carry Shiro and Lance and Allura took turns with Keith. "Let's hurry back to the castle, so we can put them in the healing pods!" Allura was screaming like the rest of the paladins and Coran were running with Shiro and Keith. When they came back to the castle, Shiro and Keith got placed in a pod each and all the rest could calm down. " Allura can we please leave this planet now...?" Lance asked her weakly. Allura understood that the rest of the paladins needed to rest so she told them to do that, then she moved the castle through a wormhole. When they were safe in another part of the galaxy, even Allura went to rest. Her sleep was very troubled but she wasn't the only one. Lance who had trouble falling asleep, went to the infirmary to see if Coran could help him in any way. " Well, of course, I can help you, Lance!" Coran said happily as he went over to the counter on the other side of the room. Lance watched Coran come back with an injection with clear content. Lance didn't really like needles much but he knew he had to rest so he didn't argue. "Let's do this in your room instead, it will be easier for you to fall asleep there," Coran said as he started walking toward Lance's room, from the infirmary. Lance obeyed and followed into his room. He sat down on his bed and watched Coran come closer with the injection, even if the cap was still on it was still scary. " Lance, lie down and close your eyes," Coran said and Lance did what he was told. Lance felt a slight sting in his arm as the needle was in his arm, and shortly after Lance was asleep and wouldn't wake up until a few hours.
Pidge and Hunk were in the infirmary, ready to greet Keith and Shiro when they would come out of their pods. " How long is it left?" Hunk asked Pidge with a boring position. Pidge went over to check when Keith's pod hissed open. By this time Hunk was ready to let Keith fall into his arms. Pidge took Shiro in her arms and they brought the two paladins to the infirmary where they could rest up a bit more. " So how are they?" Lance asked when Pidge told everyone that Shiro and Keith were out of there pods. " They are resting right now, so we will leave them there until they are ready," Pidge said. After a few hours, Shiro had woken up and was ready to leave the infirmary, and Keith would have to stay a few hours more. " How are you feeling Shiro?" Hunk asked worryingly as Shiro and Pidge came into the kitchen. Shiro felt fine, as he told Hunk not to worry, then all of them, except for Keith, sat down around the table and ate dinner. The next day Keith had woken up too, but he wasn't ready to leave according to Coran. " Keith, I just need to check so your fully okay before you leave." He said as he was fixing with some scanners and stuff, and Keith couldn't see it. Keith wanted to fall asleep in his room but he was also tired of being in a bed so he told himself not to do that. " Ok Keith, I just need to check some things now so stay still." Coran said and Keith did as he was told. After some minutes, Keith thought Coran was done when he suddenly saw what Coran was holding. " Coran, I- I can't deal with needles after what happened..." Keith said with a shaky voice. After being experimented on by those aliens, the last thing he expected Coran to do was to hold up a needle in front of him. " Its okay Keith, you don't have to look at it, just look away..." Coran said as he was coming closer to Keith with the needle. Keith felt like he was going to faint but did the second best thing on his mind: to escape the infirmary. Keith ran off with Coran right after him. " Paladins! Keith ran off and I need help chasing him down!" Coran screamed over the intercoms. " Great, now how will I get out of this situation...?!" Keith thought as he was running all over the castle to avoid the paladins who had come to help. Keith found a place to hide and waited a very long time before he heard something. He was hiding in the castles attic, or at least it looked like it but Keith was hiding there because he thought no one would find him here. " Keith are you up here?" Keith heard Shiro say as he entered the attic room. Shiro saw Keith and approached him fast, and Keith tried to escape but Shiro pinned Keith down to the floor. " Guys I found him in the attic, and I think I need some help because he is struggling!" Shiro said as he was struggling to keep Keith still under himself. A few minutes later the paladins had helped to carry Keith down to the infirmary and because Shiro cared a lot for Keith's health, he made Coran strap Keith down to the bed. " SHIRO YOU JERK!" Keith was still struggling, but he soon gave up to save his energy. Coran gave Keith the injection and after that humiliating experience, Keith ran to his room and stayed there. " Well, at least it's done now..." Pidge said as the others were leaving for the night.
In the middle of the night, Shiro had gone up to the bathroom when he heard Keith scream. He ran to Keith's room only to find him having a really bad nightmare, and he had to wake the red paladin up. " KEITH! Wake up!" Shiro said as he was shaking Keith. " Wh-What happened!" Keith said as he sat up, looking terrified. " You had a nightmare, Keith..." Shiro said, patting the red paladins head. Shiro knew what the dream was about because he was also there when it had happened. " Do you want me to stay with you until you fall back asleep?" Shiro asked. Keith was thinking quickly about it and then he said, " I need something to help me sleep, that's what I need." Keith got up from the bed and started heading to the infirmary with Shiro after him. When they entered the infirmary, Keith sat down on one of the beds and closed his eyes for a moment before he spoke. " Shiro, find the s-sedation..." Shiro who was standing up looked at Keith with wide eyes but did as he was told. " Are you sure about this Keith?" Shiro said as he was standing next to the red paladin with the injection in hand.
" Yes Shiro, do it now!" Keith growled as he felt the sting of the needle. Keith grew more tired and when he was asleep soon after, and Shiro stayed with him the whole night. When Shiro woke up again, Keith was still sleeping and he let him sleep because Shiro knew that Keith needed it. Shiro went to the kitchen and one hour later Keith joined them. When everyone was sitting around the table Lance suddenly asked Keith how he had slept the other night. " Well Lance, to be honest with you I had a nightmare and Shiro and I went to the infirmary... He gave me a sedation from my orders and then he stayed with me the whole night." Keith said. Lance got up from his chair and went to hug Keith, whispering something in the red paladin's ear so no one heard it. " I'm proud of you Mullet..."
