"Hey Nico," Jason poked his head around the corner to where the son of Hades was quietly brooding in.

Nico's previous scowl lessened to a disinterested look as he turned to the son of Jupiter. Before returning to his head returned to its position in watching some of the campers on the ground. "Yes Grace?" Jason popped a squat to meet Nico at eye level, he squinted at the boy staring at his face. Growing uncomfortable by his stare, Nico fidgeted at him. Jason ignored him as he grabbed his face and pulled him closer.

"Hey hey? Hey! What are you doing!" Nico shoved Jason to the ground and look at him a bit grossed out. "I don't know if you suddenly got confused at your preferences but don't do that! I'm not going to deal with that pit of monsters."

Jason looked undeterred by Nico's comment and the later really started to question if Jason was possessed like that time with the Eidolons. Then Jason smiled seemingly returning to normal.

"Your cheeks have gotten squishier," He smile stepping forward to pinch Nico's cheeks like an old aunty. "I've been thinking all that rest and food have helped you. You were so gaunt back than now you just look like a person that hasn't seen Apollo in years."

Nico sputtered an answer, as he was a bit gobsmacked at the reason why Jason was acting so strange. He grabbed Nico's face and grabbed it closer to his own face to check on his cheeks?

"Th-that's the reason you looked like you were going to kiss me?" Grace had a few seconds to look at bit sheepish.

Nico's day got 10 times better when a certain son of Posiden popped around the corner. "Nico! You're moving on so quickly from me to Grace already!" Nico swung his hand at Percy as he got up and back away from both of them.

"What exactly are you guys doing?" Percy questioned. "Just saying it looked a bit weird cause from a distance Jason looked like he was making out with you. And it was super obvious from the archery range."

"I was checking out Nico," Jason said stupidly, that boy is really going to make a misunderstanding. "Have you seen his cheeks they've like come back to life!" Jason said excitedly, he's acting like a mother hen, cooing at Nico.

Jason paused and turned to Percy who started to inspected a more uncomfortable Nico, his earlier words getting to his head. "Wait wait Archery range? What is a son of Posiden doing over there?"

Percy smiled. "I was just watching as all the children of Apollo were doing better than I ever will. Just joking Will sent me to grab Nico for his checkup." Percy turned to Nico again inspecting him. "You know what yeah I can see it, Nico you look a bit younger."

The son of Posiden turned back at Jason. "You know when he was 13 his cheeks were like marshmallows, by the gods if there was ever a bed as squishy as his cheeks then it would be as world famous.

Jason looked apalled before dramatically falling to his legs hugging Percy's legs as the two fell into a skit. "Really?" He faked sobbed. "I missed out on his cheeks?" Percy looked solumly at him before nodding and wiping a fake tear.

"Yes. It was glorious." Jason stood up and hugged Percy looking at Nico over his shoulders.

"By the gods! What are you doing? I told Percy to get Nico over here and you guys are sobbing?" Will's voice caused everyone to look over at him. The boy brisky walked over to the son of Hades. He took the hand of the grateful looking Nico and started to pull him to the infirmatory. "You guys took way too long and what was about Jason making out with Nico, people were talking about that."

Jason looked at Percy.

"Huh I guess it did look like I was making out with Nico,"
