House Halstark is the oldest Stark cadet branch, being founded by the younger brother of Theon 'The Hungry Wolf', named Halron, who will later be named the Lord of Hearttree Falls in the Northern Mountains near the Bay of Ice.
At first it was just the same as any other Mountain Clan, but by the time of The Spring King, House Halstark it was the 4th most powerful family in The North, 3rd wealthiest and at the base of Hearttree Falls was built Grey Port, the second largest city in The North and 6th in all of Westeros, there the Halstark Fleet was stationed, beign bigger then Manderly fleet only by a few this time they already became known as the High Lords of The Northern Mountains.
The Lord of House Halstark at time, was one of the few Northern Lords to agree with Torrhen's decision of bending the knee to Aegon'The Conqueror'.House Halstark's greatest member had to be Lord Beron'The Seawolf', who was a friend to Corlys Velaryon and came with him during his voyages to the cities of the Jade Sea and became very wealthy, surpassing the Manderlys in wealth and with all that gold he built Hearttree Falls into its modern form, building a second Castle in the arthitecture of both the Free Cities and The North leaving a steward to govern the first castle, wich became forever known as 'The Steward of Halron's Keep' and the castellan's title became 'Steward of Beron's Keep'.During the Dance of the Dragons House Halstark sided with The Blacks and blockaded Oldtown only for most of the fleet to be burned by Prince Daeron'The Daring' and His Dragon Tessarion'The Blue Queen'.Lord Beron dying there and leving his 6 year old grandson Benjen as the Lord of Hearttree Falls and High Lord of The Northern his regency there was always a power struggle between the Stewards and his mother Jonelle née Forrester, eventually Lady Jonelle won with the help of both Lord Glover and Lord Cregan. Benjen will later marry Alys Stark and they had only one child Cregan Halstark.
During the Blackfyre Rebellion they joined the same side as the rest of The North, the loyalty will later be reapied by the marriage of Brandon Halstark the heir to Lord Torrhen Halstark and the youngest daughter of Aegon V and Betha Blackwood and twin to marriage resulted in three children Alys Halstark who had the Halstark features(Light Brown Hair and Dark Grey Eyes);Edric Halstark who had inherited his mothers valyrian Silver hair and Dark Purple eyes and Lyanne who had Light Brown Hair with Purple will later marry Lyra Stark the daughter of Edwyle Stark and Marna Locke and they had 4 children togheter, 3 daughters Arrana, Lorra, Alyssane(who had The Halstark look) and 1 son Rickon(who had his father's look).
Rickon will be fostered along with his cousin Eddard Stark and Robert Baratheon at The Eyrie with Jon Robert's Rebellion he will distinguish himself by almost killing Jon Connigton(the Battle of the Bells) and killing Lewin Martell at The will go with Eddard Stark at the Tower of Joy and along with Howland Reed will survive and swearing vows of secrecy to never reveal Jon's the rebellion he will marry Mara Manderly the daughter of Wyman Manderly and his they had 5 children: the twins Eddard(his father's looks), Serena (Manderly Blonde and Violet Eyes), Jonelle(full Manderly looks), Edric(full Manderly Looks), Torrhen(Silver Hair with Manderly Green eyes).The Twins will later be bethroved to Mira Forrester and Robb Stark respectevly.
