"First came fanfiction. Then came Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. Then came Pokémon Mystery Dungeon fanfiction." said a cyborg that was wearing glasses, whose name is Wizard, but he's called Wiz for short.
"Yeah! And just because there's a lot of bad fanfictions out there, it doesn't mean that there aren't a few gems among the bunch!" said a man with a beard and a shotgun leg, known as Boomstick.
"Take DJ, the human turned Riolu from the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Stardust fanfiction!" said a weird man wearing a t-shirt that said AnimationRewind on it, for this man is named AnimationRewind, as DJ was shown.
"And Jordon, the human-Saiyan-Riolu hybrid from the three saga Dragon Ball Mystery Dungeon fanfiction!" said a person that had a Saiyan tail, known as SuperJordonGod, as Jordon was shown.
"For this matchup, we'll be taking a look at them without any weapons or healing items." said Wiz.
"And also we won't be counting feats from Stardust Legends Unleashed or the inevitable sequel to Dragon Ball Mystery Dungeon! And also we will be giving DJ both the primal aura and the shining aura in order to make this fight more fair. Also this episode will contain spoilers for both the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Stardust and Dragon Ball Mystery Dungeon fanfics. So you have about three sentences to leave and go read both fanfictions before the spoilers start." said AnimationRewind.
"He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick!" said Boomstick.
"And he's AnimationRewind and I'm SuperJordonGod! And it's our job to analyze their powers, armor, and skills to find who would win a Cartoon Death Battle Fight Club! Also we warned you guys about the spoilers." said SuperJordonGod as it showed a picture of the two combatants getting ready to fight.
"Imagine a world where there aren't any humans, but instead Pokémon, and that they were just as technologically advanced as us." said Wiz.
"Well then you've got the timeline known as Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Stardust!" said Boomstick.
"Well don't think that there wasn't something wrong with the world! As Mew chose to bring a human known as Luke, and turn him into a Riolu." said SuperJordonGod.
"Wait, Luke, as in Luke Skywalk-?" started Boomstick before AnimationRewind put his hand on Boomstick's mouth.
"No! Not as in Luke Skywalker." said AnimationRewind.
"Aw..." said Boomstick.
"Anyway..." said SuperJordonGod.
"He joined Team SATE. He was also given a power known as the Primal Aura, which was very powerful, but it came at a cost. Every time he used it, it would slowly corrupt him, turning him evil." said AnimationRewind.
"He then chose to betray Team SATE, and ran away. And he wasn't heard from for fifteen years! He did what Agent Maine, aka the Meta, from Red Vs Blue's Project Freelancer did to his own teammates." said Boomstick.
"Anyway this was obviously bad, so Mew decided to bring another human and also turn him into a Riolu. And this human's name was DJ." said Wiz.

Name: DJ.
Age: not really known.
Height: 0.7 m.
Weight: 20.2 kg.
Favorite food: waffles.
"DJ was dropped into the Pokémon world by Mew, albeit that something happened that caused DJ to lose all of his memories, except for his name and the fact that he used to be human." said SuperJordonGod.
"He was found by a female Froakie named Katara who chose to enroll him into Tobias the Gallade's Guild. And so he became a member of Team Stardust, and started to train under a Lucario named Alistair, who taught him about how to fight as a Pokémon." said AnimationRewind.
"Eventually he sparked a relationship with Katara, and became friends with Asura, a Meditite, Bertha, a Marowack, Jackson, an Umbreon, Blade, a Scyther, Drake, a Gabite, Blitz, a Pikachu, and Grace, a shiny Mawile." said Wiz.
"Aw that's so sweet! But let's get onto DJ's moves!" said Boomstick.
DJ's abilities:
Aura Sphere: a Fighting-type attack that Riolu can't learn before evolving into a Lucario. The same thing as when a Lucario uses this move happens when DJ uses this move.
Blaze Kick: a Fire-type attack where DJ ignites his leg and hits the opponent with a fiery kick. It has a chance of giving the opponent a burn.
Shadow Claw: a Ghost-type attack where DJ hits his opponent with a shadowy claw. This move has a high critical-hit ratio.
Force Palm: a Fighting-type attack where DJ hits his opponent by using his paw to deliver a shock wave. It has a chance of paralyzing the opponent.
Aura Sense: this is an ability which Riolu can't use to its fullest potential before evolving into a Lucario. DJ can use this to locate any enemy in the same room as him.
Primal Aura: this is a form in which DJ gains a significant boost in power, but at the cost of not being able to control himself. It makes him act in a very evil-like manner.
Shining Aura: this is a form in which DJ gains an even greater boost in power than the Primal Aura does. It does not make him lose control over himself unlike the Primal Aura.
"And oh man, does DJ have some powerful attacks. First up, Blaze Kick is when DJ makes his legs catch on fire and kicks the opponent! It also has a chance of giving the opponent a very nasty burn! Just like Mama Boomstick's world famous ghost pepper pie." said Boomstick as he held up a picture of his mother holding a flaming pie.
"Gah!" said SuperJordonGod.
"It's fine, just dip it in some squirrel paste." said Boomstick as he held up a bowl that had a squirrel tail in it.
"Anyway, his Shadow Claw move is when he attacks his opponent with a shadowy claw. This move also has a high critical-hit ratio, meaning that it is very likely to land a devastating blow on DJ's opponents." said Wiz.
"Moving on, Force Palm is when DJ uses his paw to deliver an up close and personal shock wave. This attack has a chance of paralyzing his opponent too!" said AnimationRewind.
"He can use Aura Sphere, which works just like always. But he also has the Aura Sense ability. This is basically like Spider-Man's Spider Sense, but not as a warning system, but it does allow him to feel his surroundings to see an enemy." said SuperJordonGod.
"We're getting to what makes him even more different from other Riolu! First up, he has the Primal Aura too! And it works like Luke's too!" said Boomstick.
"However, he can reject it, and obtain an even greater power." said Wiz.
"This power is known as the Shining Aura." said SuperJordonGod.
"This is a form that dwarfs DJ's Primal Aura by a huge amount!" said AnimationRewind.
DJ's strengths, feats, and weaknesses:
Strengths:
Is extremely fast.
Excels at close range combat.
Is able to adapt to most situations quickly.
Is a kind person.
Feats:
Has saved the Pokémon world.
With Primal Aura, has defeated entire gangs with ease on his own.
Has obtained Shining Aura.
Has defeated Surge, who is Katara's father, Shiftry, and Luke among others.
Weaknesses:
Being a Fighting-type, is weak to Flying, Psychic, and Fairy-type moves.
Can be somewhat cocky at times.
Loses control over his own actions when using the Primal Aura.
Can't control when either the Primal Aura or the Shining Aura is activated.
Aura Sphere is his only long-range attack.
"Well he's incredibly fast and he's really good at close range combat!" Said SuperJordonGod.
"He's also able to adapt to most situations quickly, and is a very kind person." said AnimationRewind.
"He's saved the Pokémon world from inevitable destruction, and with Primal Aura, he has defeated entire gangs with ease on his own." said Wiz.
"And he's defeated Surge, who's Katara's father, Shiftry, and Luke among others, and has obtained Shining Aura." said SuperJordonGod.
"But he still has his flaws." said AnimationRewind.
"Yeah, he's a Fighting-type, which means that he's weak to Flying, Psychic, and Fairy-type moves, he can be somewhat cocky at times, and his only long-range attack is Aura Sphere." said Boomstick.
"Also he can't control himself when he is using the Primal Aura, and he can't control when either the Primal Aura or the Shining Aura is activated." said Wiz.
"But despite that, he will always find a way to win to protect his friends and save the day." said Boomstick.
We see DJ in his Shining Aura form facing off against Luke at Luke's Tower. "I know I can beat you, because I'm not alone. My friends stand beside me. They are my strength. They are my power. And with that power... I WILL NOT LOSE TO YOU!" said DJ.
"So we finally get to talk about my OC." said SuperJordonGod.
"So you may know the story to the video game known as Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon. And you may know the story of Dragon Ball. But you don't know this story." said AnimationRewind.
"So after the events of Dragon Ball GT, Son Goku and the Dragon Balls were brought to the world of Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon, with Goku turning into a Riolu, but unknown to either Shenron or Goku, there was already a human-Saiyan hybrid from another timeline there that was now a Lucario. And he had two sons, the older one named Trunks became a traveler with the same getup that Dragon Ball Z Future Trunks had." said Wiz.
"And five years later, Jordon was born." said Boomstick.
Bio Info:
Name: Jordon.
Age: 6 years and 8 months old.
Height: 0.7 m.
Weight: 20.9 kg.
Adopted older brother to Jada, a female Piplup.
"His mom and dad loved him so much. Too bad that it never lasted for more than six months." said Boomstick.
"You see, one night, Jordon couldn't sleep, so he decided to go and get a glass of milk." said Wiz.
"But he looked at the full moon, which caused him to become a Great Ape." said AnimationRewind.
"And so while under Saiyan instincts, he killed his mom, and then killed his dad, but not before he cut off Jordon's tail, which caused him to turn back to normal." said SuperJordonGod.
"But due to his parents both being, you know dead, young Jordon was forced to go to an orphanage. And he did eventually regrow his tail." said Boomstick.
"But Jordon was forced into a new, very harsh home. The Pokémon at the orphanage all picked on him, and the orphanage staff never missed an opportunity to make Jordon's live a literal fucking living hell." said SuperJordonGod.
"They were able to abandon him in the wild on his first birthday. His first fucking birthday, now that is harsh." said Boomstick.
"Now on his own at that time, Jordon was cornered and was about to be killed, but then a savior appeared and saved him from death." said Wiz.
"That savior was Goku, now a Lucario. And he offered Jordon a home. To which Jordon accepted." said AnimationRewind.
"And so Jordon was trained by Goku in how to both survive and thrive on his own, and how to use Ki." said SuperJordonGod.
"He trained under and lived with Goku for until he turned four. Then Goku left him on his own, but he gave him the Power Pole and he entrusted him with the Four-Star Dragon Ball." said Wiz.
"He lived on his own for a year and a half, until one faithful meeting with a Carracosta. Carracosta offered him the opportunity to live with him, and Jordon accepted and grabbed the Four-Star Dragon Ball. And at Serene Village, he met his new younger sister, Jada, who is a Piplup." said AnimationRewind.
"They lived a somewhat normal life until they were visited by a human-turned-Pikachu named Kyle. They befriended him and they worked together with the Expedition Society to save the Pokémon world from Dark Matter." said SuperJordonGod.
"Let's get on to his attacks!" said Boomstick.
Jordon's abilities:
Force Palm: same thing as with DJ.
Focus Punch: a Fighting-type move where Jordon focuses his energy and then attacks the opponent.
Focus Blast: a Fighting-type move where Jordon fires a powerful blast towards his opponent.
Power-up Punch: a Fighting-type move where Jordon hits the opponent with a powerful punch. It also makes his physical attacks stronger.
Ki: Jordon can use Ki to fly and do a variety of other things.
Kamehameha: Goku's signature attack.
Kaio-Ken: Goku's trump card before he obtained Super Saiyan.
Solar Flare: Tien's blinding technique.
Dragon Fist: a technique that Goku made.
Instant Transmission: Goku's teleportation technique.
Hellzone Grenade: an attack where Jordon surrounds his opponent with Ki blasts and has them all hit the foe at once.
Super Saiyan: Jordon gains a huge boost with also Ssj2, 3, and 4.
Nail: a Namekian that was wished into Jordon's head. Helps Jordon out in battle from time to time.
"He has for starters, the moves Force Palm, Focus Blast and Punch, and Power-up Punch." said Boomstick.
"He can also use Ki to fly and fire Ki blasts." said Wiz.
"He can use the Kamehameha, the Kaio-Ken, the Dragon Fist, the Solar Flare, Instant Transmission, and the Hellzone Grenade." said AnimationRewind.
"But when his sister Jada was about to be killed by a Gabite, he realized the legend within him, and became a Super Saiyan. And since then, he's managed to unlock Super Saiyan 2, 3, and 4." said SuperJordonGod.
"But he's never alone anymore, even when he's fighting someone without any of his friends nearby. Since Nail was wished into Jordon's head." said Wiz.
Jordon's strengths, feats, and weaknesses:
Strengths:
Is extremely smart when it comes to fighting.
Super Saiyan forms are easily accessible.
Will always fight fair.
Incredibly balanced in terms of melee and ranged attacks, and is great with combining them.
Feats:
Became a Super Saiyan.
Taught his girlfriend Katelin how to use Ki.
On his own, defeated Entei and Cooler.
With help, defeated Yveltal and Dark Matter.
Helped save the Pokémon world.
Weaknesses:
Only Super Saiyan 4 can be used with the Kaio-Ken.
Is used to having a team to back him up.
Not used to Nail yet.
Fighting fairly even when his opponent doesn't.
Can run out of Ki.
"He's incredibly smart when it comes to fighting, plus whenever he gets a new Super Saiyan form, he can turn into it with ease!" said Boomstick.
"He'll also always fight fair, and he's great in both melee and range combat, and is great at combining his attacks." said Wiz.
"He's become a Super Saiyan, taught his girlfriend Katelin, who is the daughter of Mawile, how to use Ki, on his own, defeated Entei and Cooler, with help, defeated Yveltal and Dark Matter, and has helped save the Pokémon world!" said AnimationRewind.
"But he still has his own flaws. he can't use the Kaio-Ken with Super Saiyan 1, 2, or 3, most of his victories have been with the help of a team, he isn't used to Nail yet, fighting fairly can be a disadvantage against an opponent who doesn't fight fairly, and he can run out of Ki." said SuperJordonGod.
"But even then, if you're a bad guys and a Ki blast goes off behind you, Jordon is there to defeat you." said Wiz.
We see Jada, Jordon, Katelin, and Kyle fighting against Dark Matter. They land some powerful blows and Dark Matter says, "HOW CAN THIS BE?! I BROKE YOU!"
"Doesn't look like it!" said Jordon as a Super Saiyan 4.
"Alright, the combatants are set." said AnimationRewind.
"Let's end this debate once and for all, or at least try to." said Wiz.
"But first, the fanfiction story of the episode is Pika-0's Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to the Paradise. Go and check it out after the episode." said SuperJordonGod.
"But right now, it's time for a Cartoon Death Battle Fight Club fight!" said Boomstick.
In a stadium in the Pokémon world, a tournament was reaching its end. One last round remained though. "All right Pokémon from all around the world! Thank you all for tuning into the end of the Pokémon Fighting Tournament! We have two last combatants and to top it all off their humans! In one corner, the human turned Riolu, the Riolu user of Aura Sphere, the defeater of Luke, DJ!" said the announcer.
And then DJ appeared out of the hallway to the crowd's delight as they cheered for him. "Woohoo!" said everyone from Team Stardust.
"Win one for the team DJ!" shouted Katara.
DJ then made his way into the arena. "And in the other corner, the human-Saiyan-Riolu hybrid, the Super Saiyan Riolu, one of the four defeaters of Dark Matter, Jordon!" said the announcer.
And then Jordon came out of the other hallway oddly enough wearing his orange Gi but not his blue weighted undershirt, also to the crowd's delight as they cheered for him too. "Go Jordon!" said everyone from the Expedition Society.
"Go get him brother!" said both Jada and Trunks.
"Win this for us sweetheart!" said Katelin.
Jordon then made his way into the arena. "So you're DJ. I actually entered this tournament in the hopes of getting the chance to fight you. This tournament has been pretty easy so far and I'm hoping that you'll be a challenge." said Jordon.
"Same here about the tournament and my hopes for your strength." said DJ.
"Let's go all out!" said Jordon.
"I agree!" said DJ.
"The rules for this match is that the only way to win is to defeat your opponent no ring-outs!" said the announcer.
Jordon then got into a fighting pose while DJ did the same. "3...2...1..." started the announcer.
"FIGHT!" said everyone.
Jordon started the fight by coming in close with a Force Palm which DJ countered with his Force Palm. He then followed it up with a Blaze Kick to his chest causing Jordon to be knocked back. But Jordon caught himself and delivered a very strong Focus Punch to DJ's face. But DJ also used Shadow Claw do hit Jordon at the same time causing them to get knocked back. "Aura Sphere!" said DJ unleashing this move.
Jordon's response, "Focus Blast Kamehameha!"
Unleashing the combo move, however it was overpowered completely by DJ's Aura Sphere, which hit Jordon. "So that's the extent of a Super Saiyan?!" asked DJ.
"I'm not done yet!" said Jordon as he turned Super Saiyan!
"Now the real fight begins." said Jordon.
Jordon then hit DJ with a Power-up Punch, who countered with a Blaze Kick Aura Sphere combo. That knocked Jordon around to the point of him turning Super Saiyan 2. Then Jordon use the Solar Flare to blind DJ just long enough for Jordon to hit DJ with a Focus Punch-Blast combo that knocked him into the wall. "You're really well trained, but it looks like I win this one." said Jordon.
But then DJ's Primal Aura activated. And he threw out everything he had at Jordon, forcing him to keep dodging. Until Jordon got hit! But Jordon responded by turning Super Saiyan 3. Their attacks kept on flying everywhere, until "Jordon I got an idea. Why don't you use your Instant Transmission to teleport in front of him, you hit him up into the air, and then use your Hellzone Grenade on him?" asked Nail.
'That could work. Thanks Nail.' Jordon told Nail.
So he did just that. Except that DJ managed to protect himself using his Aura Sphere. So Jordon tried a Dragon Fist, but DJ countered using his Blaze Kick and knocked Jordon to the ground, and was about to kill him when suddenly, Jordon turned Super Saiyan 4 and said, "DRAGON FIST!"
This time hitting DJ. And Jordon then said, "X10 Kamehameha!"
Unleashing this move it looked like Jordon had won until DJ activated his Shining Aura. "This is my full power, happy now?" asked DJ.
"Wow! The energy that I'm sensing from the Shining Aura is incredible, I may not be able to win. BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT I WON'T TRY!" said Jordon.
"Kaio-Ken X20!" said Jordon as he activated the Kaio-Ken.
"I'll finish this fight with one move!" said DJ.
"Same here!" said Jordon.
Jordon then put his hands to his side as he gathered all of the Ki that he had left. While DJ made the biggest and strongest Aura Sphere he has ever made. "X20 Focus Blast Ka... Me... Ha... Me... Ha!" said Jordon as he fired this powerful attack.
And DJ let his Aura Sphere fly towards Jordon. And the two attacks then clashed. This was the beam struggle that would decide the match. And both hellbent on winning. "FULL POWER!" said Jordon.
But then DJ's attack was overwhelming Jordon's. But Jordon not one to give up, just said, "Kaio-Ken X25!"
This put them on equal ground until they both caused a big explosion that engulfed the entire arena, Jordon and DJ included. "GAH!" said Jordon.
"GAH!" said DJ.
"JORDON!" said the Expedition Society.
"DJ!" said Team Stardust.
The smock died down revealing the two of them panting. However, then, "Ugh!" said Jordon as he fell into both his base form and into unconsciousness.
"KO! The winner is DJ!" said the announcer.
"I won?! I don't believe it. I did it!" said DJ before collapsing onto the ground.
"Ow! It hurts to even move." said DJ.
"JORDON!" said Trunks as he flew down toward his brother.
"Here brother eat a Sensu Bean quick!" said Trunks as he feed his brother a Sensu Bean.
"Brother, sorry that I couldn't win." said Jordon.
"Don't worry about that. You did great." said Trunks as he then saw Katara rushing up to DJ.
"Here." said Trunks as he tossed Katara a Sensu Bean.
"If he eats that Sensu Bean he'll be back to full strength." Trunks told Katara.
She did just that. And then Jordon said, "That fight showed me that I still have to get stronger! Keep training DJ! And I hope that eventually we'll have a rematch!"
"Me too!" said DJ.
And they then shaked paws.
KO!
"WOW! What a way to start the series!" said Boomstick.
"This was a surprisingly close fight." said SuperJordonGod.
"While Jordon had much better long-range capabilities, and more experience, and more destructive capability and diversity in his attacks, DJ held his speed, power, durability, intelligence, and latent power edges where what won him this fight." said Wiz.
"Also Jordon has yet to do any solo feats other than Entei and Cooler, while the majority of DJ's feats are preformed on his own." said Animation.
"Jordon certainly didn't make this an easy fight, DJ's greater speed, power, durability, intelligence, and latent power were just too much for Jordon to handle." said Wiz.
"Looks like DJ is riding the Dragon Balls to Victory. Hey, I'm just Saiyan." said Boomstick.
"Really Boomstick, that pun was just so awful." said AnimationRewind.
"The winner is DJ." said SuperJordonGod.
