Okay! So I got tons of requests to post this as the sequel to His Caged Bird, which ik isn't done simply cause I'm taking my time editing the next chapters to make sure the scenes go smoothly! Not that this one has too many serious spoilers to what happened previously etc but STILL DON'T READ IF YOU DON'T LIKE SPOILERS THIS IS FOR PEOPLE THAT WANTED IT TO SKIP AHEAD, it'll be more of a drama related drabble on their days officially together as a couple. Which is meant to just be a cute, simple thing and honestly you probably don't have to read the other to get the plot of this one lolol. I love HawksxOchako and their dialog is so easy to piece together lol story will contain minor drug use, smut, and other adult themes. Hope you enjoy!
Her Foundation
"Where's that fluffy sweater at this time? The purple one!? You know which one I'm talking about Keigo!," Ochako shouted throughout the large house so angrily that it echoed off the walls. Tossing the dirty laundry over into a basket, gathering up littered cups of noodles and soda cans into a trash bag. The nerve of that bird not to help out once around the house, yet to move her things around without mentioning their whereabouts. Toothbrushes, clothes, her shoes, digging in her purse, and now the audacity to replace her favorite sweater. A sweet, cherished memory of one of the first strange gifts he'd gotten her. Though the only difference being it came at the beginning of them moving in together now that she turned 19.
So far it had been four years as an official couple, still not used to the lavish home of the number two hero. Tall window panels that let the sun shine through perfectly in the mornings and in the late evening with a orange hue illuminating the interior. And some days they opened the glass doors leading to the balcony to listen to the waves crashing along the beach house, Hawks typical hiding spot flooded with salty air.
At least he tried to enjoy it at this very moment, inhaling the joint that rested on his lips, leaning into a long chair. Legs crossed and arms behind his head, sighing contently without a care in the world. The sound of seagulls could be heard over the horizon as the sun had barely come up, sure to wake before a certain someone did to sneak a quick smoke behind her back, knowing Ochako didn't approve and was bound to get chewed out if caught. And all was fine, until his eyes flew open, hearing the sound of crashing coming from inside. Followed the sound of heels hitting the wooden flooring not far off from the doors.
He panicked, hitting the blunt one last time before flicking it off the side of the white railing. Pretending to lean casually on it as he heard the doors slam open, lazily glancing over his shoulder with an innocent smile.
"Why do you keep moving my things!? Stop it! You don't even do the clothes around here, I do!," she hollared, face reddened with agitation.
Hawks quickly nodded trying to agree with her, giving a pitiful look. Though it only made it more suspicious appearing as she stalked up to him, sniffing the air.
They stared at one another as he could feel himself start to sweat. Thinking back it seemed like a good idea, discarding the garment somewhere deep in the house in case she did wake-up so it would be used as a distraction. But it seemed to back fire as she glared at him with hands on hips, sensing the need to breath coming.
"Go ahead. Say something," she said coyly, watching the panic come around his eyes as he tried to glance away nervously.
Ochako stepped closer, standing on her tippy toes to grip the front of his muscle shirt to tug it down. Forcing their faces together until he couldn't contain it any longer, a cloud of smoke bursting out from his mouth as he started to cough, stepping back to wheeze. She grimaced at the smell, pinching her nose.
"Your eyes are all red stupid! As if you could hide it just like you hid my sweater!," she snapped, storming back inside the house as he gathered his composure, running his hands through gold locks to scramble after the angry girl.
That fiery attitude was only more enticing to add to the way her curvy hips swayed, holding onto the black fabric of her panties in the best possible way. Barely covered by one of his oversized T-shirts, two cut V lines meant for the large red wings exposed her back as well. Just enough skin to make his irises sharpen, grinning proudly at the girl he loved. Who well, was now upset even more.
Ochako stalked past the kitchen, onward to their bedroom that was beyond the living room until his arms encircled her from behind. Screaming to fight against the stronger pair of arms that flipped them onto the couch. His laughter rang out at the way she flailed, small heels kicking against his back while he pinned her arms above her head. Leaning down to the shell of her ear.
"Mornin babe," he whispered, kissing tenderly along the back of her throat.
"That stuff makes your breath stink," she sassed, still trying to wiggle her hips out from under him. Though it only caught attention, glancing down at the way her back arched up against his groin, giving a wicked toothy grin. After all, this was the best conclusion one could come up with since plan A didn't work.
"Will you let go?," she moved once more under his bigger size to gain any bit of leverage, but it only earned a growl.
"Careful princess," he teased, kissing along one of the open cuts to the back of the shirt, gaining access to her shoulder blade. "Keep moving your hips like that and I might pounce."
Ochako scoffed, giving another kick to his wing. "You're not a very good predator."
Hawks halted, leaning his face close enough that she could see him. A shiver down her spine at the way his brows furrowed, slited bird eyes looking down at her. Vulnerable and caught. "Good enough to catch you."
He moved his arms so that only one hand left both wrist, with the other getting access to the underneath of the shirt. Inching slowly inside to feel her waist as she let out a shaky breath. Arching her back further in anticipation that both knew she'd never admit to.
"H-Hawks please," she fussed, turning her head towards the couch so that he couldn't see her face. "I needa find my sweater remember?"
The shirt lifted higher, a sharp canine digging into his bottom lip as he grasped what he wanted. One of her bare breasts, cupping it lightly while grinding into her backside. A muffled whine from underneath good enough to make his eyes already roll back, loving the way her voice held that melody when they fooled around.
"I'll tell you where it is in a sec," he breathed, squeezing it harder as she cried out. The more she writhed the rougher he grinded against her. The panty lining hiking higher, bettering the view. "I'll buy you a ton of em, just let me have fun first."
Slipping his hand out from it, he switched the attention to the cotton panties. An already damp feel meeting his fingers as he ran them along the outside. A sharp cry coming from her, unable to contain it at the teasing movements. Gently running them over the sensitive nerves as she began to tremble. A hot feel pooling within her abdomen for more.
Ochako tried to stifle them, shoving her face into the leather but he only pressed harder. Moving in circles to get a reaction, and when that wasn't enough he slipped his hand into the side of the material. Earning a loud whine at the contact, his fingers teasing the outside of her slit. A slick feel already soaking through them as he grinned to himself.
Her hips bucked for more, swaying for him to see as she glanced over her shoulder. His mouth parted in want the way her eyes glossed over, a bit of drool leaking down her plump lips. Panting through it until he finally gave what she wanted, slipping his fingers in. Walls clenching them immediately as they slid in with ease, the sound of her moans echoing out.
"That's my pretty canary," he praised, gliding them in and out while her legs shook. A dirty nickname he often used causing a blush to grace her face, looking away in embarrassment. Always a smooth talker with or without intimacy.
But he only slid in deeper, watching as her nails dug into the couch. Hawks could barely contain himself as is with a hardened member ready to ravage this girl while his jeans tightened. Pressing into the zipper as he clenched his teeth slightly in pain.
Finally he let go of her wrist from a death grip, sitting back to undo his pants as she protested at the loss of contact. Panting hard while he undid his belt, hurrying to shuffle them down while holding the end of his shirt in his mouth. Watching his girlfriend's backside raise higher, cursing in pride at the thought of just how lucky he was.
"I love you," he blurted out muffled, raising himself back up to pull the material to the side. Butterflies knawing in her stomach at how each time he'd make sure to let her know that. Each day, and each night. And especially during times like this, easing himself inside while she whimpered, clawing at the couch for dear life to adjust to the size. Still pained no matter how many times they had done it now.
"I love you!," she screamed out, the words slurred from pleasure with her mind going blank. Rocking her hips to meet each thrust, bracing for the way he gripped her hips, fingers digging into them hard. Ochako could feel her body quack, unable to form whole sentences, fumbling over incoherent words as she begged for more.
Hawks snarled, tossing his head back slightly at the captivating way her body was able to draw him in so easily. Acknowledging the shirt she wore being his like a claim of ownership only threw his mind more into a frenzy, the irises sharpening, an animalistic side inching its way up to slam into her harder.
She started to writhe, a feel of stars clouding her vision and mind as she mewled. Walls tightening around him with the feel growing slicker with each thrust to meet the speed. Suddenly he yanked her up, a hand remained on her hip with the other to roughly grasp one of her breast. Hot breath seething by her throat, hands flying up to pull on his golden hair to hold onto anything.
"Shh," he soothed, grinding in order to move torturously slow. Ochako bit her bottom lip, leaning her face towards him, unable to make anymore sounds as she came. Firmly holding her up from passing out to kiss over the soft skin along the groove in her shoulder.
"You're so goddamn gorgeous," the words fell on a whisper before burying his minor fangs into the groove, piercing the skin near enough to draw blood while she screamed, pain mixed with pleasure from both highs coming together in ecstacy.
It was always enough to make him finish, still holding her body in place with his teeth as he followed suite, sure to slam deep inside. Growling in a predator manner, just like the original intended way how this started. The couch was added onto his personal, mental list of areas they'd done it now, his lips curling into a grin, gently drawing his teeth back.
He could feel her heartbeat pounding under his hand that still rested against her chest. Slowly pulling out of her, with her body so weak that he playfully let her drop onto the leather with a thud. Fixing the pants back up to stand, smirking wildly at his accomplishment.
Ochako yawned, tugging a nearby throw blanket from on top the couch for comfort feeling tired and sore. Lying on her side, shooting a glare at him. "Get my sweater."
"Alright Alright. Even though that's no way to talk to a man so generous as myself."
Hawks walked a few ways off, opening a cabinet where it was hidden among plates, somewhere it shouldn't have been. Brushing a thumb over the fuzzy material with a giant, goofy pigeon imprinted on the front. It was overall tacky, looked itchy and definitely had a lot of tiny holes from how long she'd had it for now. Not that he'd let her know the times he used it to wipe up food from the corner of his mouth. Yet she insisted how important it was, like a child with a special teddy bear.
Emerging back into the room, he squatted eye level with a sweet smile. Gently placing it near with her small fingers sneaking out from under the blanket, pulling it under to nuzzle her nose into the comforting collar. Closing her eyes, that same memory returning from when he came home one night with it, soaked in the rain and reeking of earth. A welcome gift.
"Here I thought I was your security blanket," he pouted, resting his chin on his forearms.
"You promised to come home to me every night so I don't have to worry about that anymore.."
Ochako leaned up, pressing her lips to his. Inhaling a sharp breath at the loving contact, so wonderful to start off the morning this way. Never imagining life could ever be so satisfying, working hard for the HPSC. A proud hero to maintain the number 2 statues. Battling villains daily. Now it made more sense with something personal to fight for, the girl he loved waiting at home. And he never would've made that promise if he knew he couldn't keep it just like all the others.
"Let's go get breakfast," he murmured against her lips, stomach aching in hunger still from not eating, and quite frankly from smoking a while ago. Still reeling from the high.
"Mmmm you can go. I'm not hungry."
Ochako pulled away, curling back up into the soft sweater to ready for a nap regardless how early it was. Though he only gave a worried expression, knowing that things weren't going good lately.
He followed her half lidded gaze, staring across the room at an end table beside the love seat. On it a black phone, an updated version he had bought her sat untouched. Not wanting to answer any text or calls unless it was from a certain couple that they hadn't heard from often, maybe once a month. Nor was it pleasant.
Hawks sighed, placing a hand on her leg. "Why don't you just call them? Or pay a visit? I'm sure it'd make everything blow over easier, or at least make them feel a little better."
"Why?," she whispered, scowling like an agitated child. "I can't handle it when they start saying things about you.. Or when they ask me to go home."
It wasn't a secret neither of her parents liked or approved of Hawks. Not that he personally could blame them once it was outed that he'd partially aided the villains as an undercover, giving an open argument about the things he had to do including the one moment he'd hit her. It surfaced immediately with the media jumping straight on it for a good scoop, trying to paint him out to be an abusive criminal and a tarnished reputation, regardless of Ochako insisting the truth.
But in all, it only made their relationship seem even more inappropriate. Adding to the age difference, a youth in danger, how she dropped out from U.A. due to personal decisions that were nobody's business, twisted with lies. Lastly, psychologists rode the bandwagon on talk shows to give an opinion on Ochako's mental state being with the hero as a dependency, taking advantage and manipulating her mind. All of this made her extremely insecure.
"Well to be fair, I don't think that picture of us on the balcony that went viral gained me any favors," he grinned, running his hands through his hair to recall the flashy show they'd given on accident. Remembering the way the other heros died in a fit of laughter to their heart's content, mocking him whole heartedly without any way to add a snarky comeback. At least it made one half of the fangirl population upset, and the other dying at the exposure.
"That was your idea!, insisting we do it outside like that!"
"What are you so embarrassed about anyways!? All they got was your legs around my waist! I protected you with my wings, only to get my bare ass plastered all over the media!"
Ochako sat up, busting out in a fit of wails at the humorous humiliation the man had gone through over that. Frankly it was on their property on the balcony after a night he'd had too many drinks, hoisting her up against the wall. But the paparazzi nearby didn't hesitate to shroud them in camera flashes while she screamed, and he sent wing feathers flying their way for a distraction, shattering most of the cameras possible that only led to a public apology. It only worsened the divide with her parents once they caught wind of something so scandalous.
"Should I apologize for that? I mean it's gotta be hard seeing your daughter get de-flowered like that," he added, scratching his chin in thought as he took a seat on their coffee table.
"No!," her shout made him jump, shooting an annoyed face at him. "How would that help?! Just don't bring it up to them you weirdo."
Sighing, he pulled out a wrinkled extra joint and a lighter stashed into the jean pocket to spark up. Resting it on his lips, just waiting to hear a complaint. But she gave none, aside from the still saddened look with a little resentment mixed in. They'd been so close before the kidnapping by the league. Now it felt like an isolated similar feeling, and Hawks yet again being the only emotional support.
The lighter flicked, puffing the smoke to fill his lungs to hold in for a second. Coughing its way out in grey clouds. Using the sweater to hold over her nose at the scent.
"You think your old man would want you to go back to school?," he wheezed, teasingly extending the blunt out to share, knowing it'd annoy her.
"Of course that's another issue silly, he made that clear after you bragged to them how much money you made.."
It hinted at the earlier days of trying to bring Hawks around the family, friendly conversation already tensed enough less to be added onto with his rude comments. Not meaning to be that way, just naturally as he was an open book, mind and mouth.
"I wasn't trying to be rude, I just thought it'd be a good idea to mention that so they knew you were being taken care of! Annnnd I was gonna help with the company but the offer only seemed to piss him off."
"Well yea! It kinda hurt his ego.. And besides, daddy always wanted me to take care of myself. Nor do they really trust you."
It's true that it came to a shock to everyone that she announced her resignation from U.A., the other classmates a rupture of betrayal while the others begged her to stay. There was just no need to continue to get a heros license regardless of the work she'd put in since it was only for the money in the end, a big leap of faith put into their relationship with he becoming the main financial earner once they moved in together. It wasn't a problem at his end, but Hawks could admit it was the one single time he'd ever tried to control her decision. A huge fight had broken out between them over it in the end, with he practically begging her not to pursue it.
Hawks blew out another cloud, feeling guilty for ever swaying that goal. At the same time there was relief, knowing she'd be safe. The hero life just wasn't for her in his opinion. Nor could he handle if she got hurt or worse without a strong quirk for protection.
"Well one day he'll be glad that his daughter isn't out there on the field dead."
"I wanted to be in the rescue field though if I had to choose."
He scoffed, an already bit of agitation forming when they discussed this topic. "Doesn't matter Uraraka," he snapped, her expression widening in anxiety waiting to hear the lecture. But to her surprise his eyes softened almost right away, careful not to start an argument. "Whatever you wanna do, I'll help. Go to a university? Work at a crappy restaurant? Stay home and be pampered? I'll go along with."
He slid down from the table onto his knees, coming close to rest his forehead in her lap. "But not that.. I'll fight you tooth and nail to keep you out of that life. You know this."
With brows furrowed, she smiled down at him. Running her fingers through his hair to comfort, showing that she wasn't upset. It was a long dream gone and was unneeded at this point.
"I guess it's nice sitting on my butt all day anyways," she joked.
He hummed at that answer, glad to see it wouldn't be a sour mood over it today. Which wasn't brought up often since he'd made it clear how he felt about it. Nuzzling his face roughly, she giggled, pulling away to flash a smile.
"Yup. Nice and cozy, safe at home. You don't have to do anything."
"Expect clean up after you who doesn't do Any housework."
"See!? It's a great career! And you get paid to do it!
"I do not!," she yelled, watching him stand to finish off the blunt less not to blow smoke in her face.
"I buy you whatever you want, that counts. And if I do say so, I think you've grown rather spoiled."
Ochako pouted, ready to protest that idea. Though deep down it was true. He was very generous, a little much showering her with unnecessary things, making sure at any given point to express how much he thought about her. Sometimes she had to remind him that wasn't what was important.
"Yea but it does get lonely when you're gone.. I don't have anything to do and feel like a burden."
Discarding the bud into an ashtray, he leaned down to cup her cheeks in his hands. Brushing a thumb along the pink tint. "Don't ever think that. If you want we can go out soon-"
Suddenly his eyes widened in recollection, pulling away to run down the hall to their bedroom. Listening to the sounds of things being thrown around, knowing it was all the stuff she'd picked up earlier like clothes and trash. Drawers slammed open and closed, digging around. She sighed, knowing she'd have to go repeat it all once more after that. Unable to help make every room look like a tornado had passed through.
He emerged back, running up to her in a cheery fashion. Holding a pamphlet out for her to examine. She eyed it, hesitantly taking it to see the red trimming on the edges. Glitter wording in a fancy font, and the background showing people dressed in proper attire. Clothes she usually didn't wear.
"What is-?"
"The hero's ball!," he interrupted a little too enthusiastic. "I'd completely forgotten to show you. It's coming up soon… this week? I don't know. Buuuut~"
Her jaw dropped, glaring up at him. "This week!? You forgot about a big event like this?!"
Hawks grinned sheepishly. "Yes ma'am. Guess you don't have a choice but to come with me in a sec to grab breakfast so we can get those nice curves something to wear."
"B-But," her face fell, shamefully looking away. Usually an event like this had only welcomed heros and their spouse's, not even close family invited. It was overall formal with the best of the best invited, flashy cameras and interviews being held if people were lucky enough to catch them before entering on the red carpet. All of it enough to make her head spin, with a joint decision to keep their relationship out of the spotlight best as possible to avoid drama. The idea of a place of that caliber had begun to make her feel uneasy. "We're not married, I don't think it'd be appropriate to bring me."
Hawks scowled, scooting onto the couch. Forcing their hands together to lace their fingers in a loving manner. "Who cares. If it's a problem then we'll leave."
"You shouldn't throw away events like that over something so petty."
Leaning closer, he pressed his lips to the side of her neck. "If you'd become a Tamaki we wouldn't have to worry."
Her face flushed, thinking about that far worse in extravagance than anything this could conjure. A serious step to take that he hinted at several times, especially when drunk, but she wasn't ready. Not even of drinking age yet herself.
When she didn't say anything, he kissed her skin tenderly. A trail of peaks tracing her jawline until he caught her lips. Moving together in a passionate way like to silently beg her to say yes. But he knew better, just like he knew her. And all would come in time, snaking a hand around her waist.
Forcing them to move, she whimpered as he gently laid her onto her back. Wedging his hips in between her legs while their kiss grew heated. Arms drawing behind on his shoulder blades to dig at them through the muscle shirt that earned her a grunt, grinding their hips together.
Hawks pulled away to kiss her cheek once more, going lower as she panted to nip at the sensitive spots along her throat. "You'll marry me one day, Uraraka," he whispered in a husky tone, biting at her collarbone.
Okay so update. This goes for all stories. The virus has pretty much ruined my life. I'm losing my home. And many other personal issues to go with it. Currently my best option is to study hard to get into school through the army, so best of luck to me if I can make it. Quite frankly from stress and studying, I'm seriously sorry to say I cannot continue Any stories. I'm really upset to have to say that but it's the reality I'm faced with, I simply don't have the mental health or time to do so. My deepest apologies for those of you that truly loved my writing. Maybe one day I'll return. But for now to truly focus, I will not come back. It hurts alot to see these stories when I pull my profile up and know that I won't ever be posting another chapter any time soon.. I hate it. But I thank you all so much for the support. I'll answer messages and if anyone comments know that I'll read it with a tearful smile. Best of life to everyone, until I come back. Goodbye.
