Shiny Chariot stared down the villains facing her, each of them hideous and eager to take her down brutally. Their quirks or magical prowess were a force to be reckoned with, but none were able to match the might of the most powerful witch on Earth.
They began to either charge at her or fire off their spells, but their combined assault meant nothing she shot out her prized wand, the Shiny Rod, whose power could make anyone short of God tremble.
One blast of fire immediately melted a villain with an ice quirk and another shot of light dissipated one made out of a darkness as black as night. The so-called allies of those villains didn't mind anyway, as their beams of quirk power or magic were still raging ahead at Chariot, who was distracted by their charging compatriots.
It mattered not, however, as the mighty reflexes of Chariot allowed her to form a magical shield that rendered those attacks useless. And as if that wasn't enough, one of the attacks reacted to the barrier in such a way that it instead reflected back at its user, eviscerating her into nothing.
Dumbfounded, the attackers kept firing spell and quirk at her to no avail. A new gang appeared on the other side of Chariot's flank for a surprise attack, but she merely smirked as her summoned broom appeared before her. She hopped onto it and was able to speed away from attackers, but she didn't intend to escape.
Oh no, like a jet chasing its enemy, she fired spell after spell from her vantage point to bring down her attackers, who all stubbornly refused to surrender.
As she finished off the rest of her grounded attackers, a high pitched screech caught her attention and she turned to face a villain shaped like a vulture flying straight for her.
She almost pitied that creature. It was unable to stop her and certainly should have noticed its friends being overwhelmed with ease, and yet it insisted on trying to fight her. Unfortunate as it was, Chariot would have to give it what it had coming.
Just as Chariot readied the Shiny Rod to finish the vulture off as well, a flame out of nowhere appeared and turned that beast into a roasted bird lunch.
Chariot gasped as she turned to face the direction of the flaming attack, and on the roof of a building was a tall man with freckles, a scar on his eye, piercing red eyes and a spiky green white hairstyle. Oh, and it went without saying that he was absolutely jacked and well built.
"Fusion Man!" cried out Ursula as she flew towards him on her broom, standing upon it to look him right at the eye.
"How's it going cutey?" greeted Fusion Man in his cold voice that was somehow both stuck up and empathetic, as if he could display a million emotions and traits at once.
Chariot flew towards him, standing on her broom to look him level in his piercing and warm eyes that drove her emotions wild. Still, she did have to get one emotion out of her system.
"You know I could have handled him myself." protested Chariot.
Fusion Man shot her the cocky smile she loved alongside his signature laugh. "Oh, I know, but I'm not taking any risks when my honey is in danger."
"I'm the most powerful witch in the world, you know there's nothing I need to worry about." she said with a playful teasing tone.
"And I bear the souls of and hearts of three powerful men, so give me some credit." replied Fusion Man, extending his hand.
Chariot took it and smiled. "Well, I suppose there is room for you as the most powerful hero, so as long as you can live with me as the most powerful mage."
"With you, I can live through anything, forever." smiled Fusion Man who then yanked Chariot off her broom and looked at her straight in the eye as he held her high with his mighty grip.
Sparkles in her eye, Chariot blushed with delight as she looked down into the gaze of her lover. His strength filled her with bliss and only fanned the flames between them.
Fusion Man then pulled her down for an embrace, and of course, Chariot just had to show off her signature French kiss.
Just before she could get to the part of Fusion Man ripping off her clothes and making love to her, Ursula suddenly woke up to the sound of a ruler slapping the table she was sleeping on. Facing her was Holbrooke, staring at her with an eyebrow raised.
Ursula blushed and glanced to the side to a photo depicting the fusion of Deku, Todoroki and Bakugou that had formed a while back. Constanze had, of course, found a way to take a photo of it an Ursula found it on the former's person.
Rather than getting rid of it, she found herself staring at his magnificent, marvelous and muscular body alongside that mature and mysterious face. She could have only wondered what kind of power couple she and said fusion could have been, provided she still continued living as Chariot and the fusion be an independent man her age.
Regardless, there were more important matters. She adjusted her glasses and grinned at Holbrooke, who returned to her warm self.
"Ah, ma'am, is there anything I can help you with?" asked Ursula.
"Professor Castelis, I hope didn't wake you from a needed sleep." teased Holbrooke.
"Oh no," blushed Ursula. "Just a nap."
"Moving on," chuckled Holbrooke. "I need an opinion from you regarding security for the upcoming Dance with the Witches."
Ursula frowned. "Are we expecting something?"
Holbrooke graduated to laughing out loud. "Is that even a question? Surely you don't think that with all the elites, the wielder of the Shiny Rod and three hero prodigies in one ballroom, that someone wouldn't try to do something awful?"
Ursula gave it a moment of thought. "Wouldn't that be the opposite of an incentive to try something rash?"
"In a sane world yes. We do not live in one." remarked Holbrooke.
"Well, I have read about the heroes being attacked at completely random and inconvenient times and some of our little withes are….them…" pondered Ursula.
"Exactly, so Mr. Todoroki wants to take some precautions by hiring one of the private military firms, unsurprisingly Mr. Oswald's White Wolf forces, for extra security," revealed Holbrooke.
Ursula's mouth dropped. "Seems excessive, no?"
"We have word that his father will pay for it, or at least he should. I still do have the ability to veto however and that's what I need your advice for." told Holbrooke.
"Why me?" asked Ursula. Surely someone more experienced like Badcock would be a better authority.
"You're certainly one to rush into trouble to aid our students," noted Holbrooke. "And you've demonstrated a powerful resolve and ability to keep them safe."
Ursula bit her lip. She suspected that Holbrooke knew the truth about her, but had reasoned that she merely considered her a young and powerful witch who could understand and connect to the students better than the flashback prone relics from the 19th and 20th century that made up Luna Nova's teachers.
Holbrooke placed her hands on the table. "I fear that with the villain, who has been nothing but pain for Britain's local heroes, soldiers and intelligence, may seek to attack us at the dance. While no threat has been made, I do not think we can protect the students alone if the worst-case scenario proves true."
Ursula took a deep breath. She would certainly use all of her powers and expose herself as Chariot if the time came, but truth be told she knew from experience that the fortitude of Akko and her friends would always reign supreme. And if private security personnel could alleviate some of the burden, and maybe even promote a new way of thinking about defense, then she would be all for it.
She finally gave her thoughts. "I will do my best to protect the students and everyone else attending for that matter. However, I truly do not believe that I alone could be capable of fighting off what seems to be Britain's most dangerous threat at the moment. Any additional help would be welcome."
Holbrooke smiled. "Alright then, I'll take the opinion of one who has helped save our skin many times into account and give Mr. Todoroki and Oswald the green light."
"Thank you," nodded Chariot. "I hope we'll have a pleasant evening."
"Of course. Those heroes with our witches as their girlfriends are actually quite adorable," chuckled Holbrooke. "I'm so glad I made them study here for a month."
On the other side of the academy, away from the discussions of security and threats, Diana had invited Bakugou over for a date at her dorm room.
He stared at Diana sorting through her clothes, having put the final touches on the dish he prepared for the two. Most people, just from looking and interacting with him, would have believed that the last thing he would want was to go over clothing with a girl.
In reality, much like his affinity for cooking, Bakugou knew taste in fashion and would ensure that his girl would look better than the other unworthy freaks.
And of course, Diana was humming as she worked, filling Bakugou's ears with the sound he loved most.
"I know you're patiently waiting for me to try your cooking," muttered Diana, still starring at her wardrobe. "But I do need to get this out of the way as soon as possible given how busy we'll be before the dance."
"Yeah yeah, we can do both." assured Bakugou. He looked at the meal he set up, a fusion of the Polish, German and Japanese cuisines that owed to his background. Anyone could have said that those three styles at the same time couldn't mesh together, but they were idiots as far as he was concerned.
He then glanced at Diana, and conceded that she looked better than the food on the table. Once again though, it proved he and she had the best taste on Earth.
Diana herself turned around, holding a fancy blue dress. "This is usually my go-to and what I'm known for."
Bakugou inspected it for a moment and placed a finger on his chin. "So we're going tried, but true eh? I'm guessing there's more to it than just the dress."
"Right, there is some makeup, gloves and other accessories I'd need to put on." nodded Diana.
Bakugou crossed his arms. "I think I need to judge with a complete package, but the food might cold when you're done changing out of your uniform and back."
Diana resisted the urge to laugh. "Do you seriously not think I don't have a spell to put on my full regalia in seconds?"
"Well what the fuck are you waiting for then?" grinned Bakugou.
Diana did laugh but in a flirty way this time. She got out her wand with one hand, holding the dress in the other, and cast the necessary spell.
A puff of smoke surrounded her, and sure enough, she no longer had her uniform on, but rather a fancy blue dress with a splendor of accessories complementing it.
Bakugou took a moment to catch his breath, taken by her beauty. "It's great. Really fucking great and…but..."
"Come on, you know I trust your criticism now." instructed Diana.
"It's a little too fancy, because from what I hear this is a little more casual than something one of the snobs around here would normally throw around," said Bakugou.
"Ah like my family?" joked Diana.
"Fuck yeah," smirked Bakugou. "But for real, I heard the theme for this dance is more 1930s electro swing, so I'd rather go with something flashier. Still, though, I do like the foundation you're going with."
"I suppose it's true that they do expect us to have more fun, and with the theme we can expect more aggressive dance music." agreed Diana.
With another flick of her wand, Diana altered her dress. The bottom part shrunk, revealing more of her leg, right up to her knees. The top part too showed a bit more of her cleavage and left her elbows exposed. Coupled with the fact that the dress now hugged her frame more, it was basically a more playful variant of what she had just been wearing.
"Better?" asked Diana.
"Much. You look perfect." complimented Bakugou.
"Of course I do." mused Diana, giving him a playful twirl.
Bakugou grinned once more. "And to think I would have rather had some British SAS freaks yell at me for a month."
"You could still get that type of training though, eventually," told Diana.
"Really?" frowned Bakugou.
"Given my family's status, and the fact that you're absurdly talented like I am, I doubt they'd reject an application from you and me to train." said Diana.
"Me and you at spec ops boot camp eh?" laughed Bakugou. "That's rich."
"And we'd overcome it easily. I think we could still learn a few things from Britain's top brass." stated Diana, already thinking of a plan. "Especially if you decide to move here."
There was fire in Bakugou's eyes. Given that Japan meant Deku, it was a tempting offer. "Hun, there's nothing you and I can't overcome and beat the shit out of. And when we're together we're unstoppable. I think we can start making plans for my post-graduate life here."
"Until then, let's just enjoy each other's company." proposed Diana.
"Sure, and since the food's gonna get cold let's get to it." nodded Bakugou.
Suddenly, Diana had a glow in her eyes. "Indeed, but I have a few things to get over with, like changing for instance."
Rather than using magic to undo dress and revert back to her uniform, she physically tugged down on it.
Shocked, Bakugou's eyes followed the dress down to the floor. Before he could ask why Diana did that instead of using the spell she just used, his gaze was redirected upwards to her lingerie-clad body.
The white underwear she wore had a nice lacy pattern, and the bandeau bra she used that didn't have arm straps turned him on a lot more than a run of the mill bra for some reason. Coupled with the fact that she kept her high heels, accessories, and gloves, it was a combination that drove him over the edge.
Diana fiddled with her, awaiting his response as if she wasn't doing anything suggestive. "Well?"
"Y-you look fucking perfect. That's what." screeched Bakugou. This was almost better than the dream he had of her naked in the lake.
"I thought so." smiled Diana as she walked towards him in a manner that emphasized her hips and thighs. Had Bakugou been anyone else, he would have visibly trembled.
He did gulp however. "Are we gonna…"
"I'm just gonna stay like this for now." interrupted Diana, knowing what he was gonna say. "I do intend to make full love to you before you leave, but we still have time."
"Right...right...work our way up and all that shit." agreed Bakugou as Diana finally sat on his lap.
He wasted no time hugging her close and giving her a kiss, much to Diana's pleasure because Bakugou holding her filled her with the same joy he felt whenever she hummed for him.
Diana unglued her lips from him. "If you do move here after graduation, we could be doing something like this every night. It would be perfect, and you know I can't stand anything less than that."
Bakugou grinned with love and desire. "Same. You know I can't fucking wait."
"Unlike your dinner." replied Diana.
"Seriously though, it's gonna get cold." deadpanned Bakugou.
"I'm sure your dish will taste better after you're done with a Cavendish." replied Diana, hoping the pun made him laugh. That, and she could just use magic to reheat it.
Bakugou laughed, much to her pleasure. He continued to kiss and hold her, touching the skin of the exposed parts of her body with his strong grasp.
The feeling of his firm fingers drove her over the edge. She couldn't wait until this sensation would become a nightly occurrence.
AN: We're approaching endgame, so you gotta love how different everyone's priorities are.
