AN: The climax for this story is taking much more time than intended and to blow off steam I'm writing this kinda bonus two parter. The following chapter and the one after are meant to be comedic and a very light-hearted breather before we move to the final and drama heavy arc. It can be ignored if it's not your thing.
Todoroki stared at his phone with dread and his hand began to tremble.
Amanda caught his eye and frowned. Nothing good could have happened if Todoroki was losing his usual composure. Unless it was because he was being taken by her power and beauty of course.
"What's up?" asked Amanda.
"Just got a text from my dad." groaned Todoroki, which caused Amanda to bite her lip and take a deep breath.
"And?" she blurted.
"He says he's not gonna pay for extra security at the dance. He wants the teachers or...myself to do the job." explained Todoroki.
Amanda clenched her fists and stomped on the ground in anger. "That's not gonna work! The whole point of having those mercs was so we could have like a hundred backup and contingency options or some shit if Rotha kept turning us into her slaves!"
"I know," nodded Todoroki getting up and heading out the door of his guest room, Amanda following close behind him. "We need to inform the teachers right away."
The couple scurried through the halls, darting past the witches to make it to Holbrooke's office. It sucked for them that after the effort they put in for extra security, Todoroki's father would just cut them off.
On one hand, Todoroki knew his father didn't approve of him dating a witch, paying for his bail and hush money after that incident in Bath, and then using funds to pay for security to fight a possible threat he knew Endeavor expected him to handle on his own. He didn't know whether or not to be thankful that his father believed in him to the point of not needing extra arms to fight a villain, but he then reasoned it was another ridiculous attempt to build up the Todoroki name against all logic.
Gritting his teeth, Todoroki didn't realize that he and Amanda had already spotted Holbrooke and Ursula, the two facing off their friends Bakugou, Deku, Diana and Akko of course.
Regaining his senses, Todoroki stopped, but in an abrupt manner that caught the attention of the Luna Nova teachers and classmates.
"Todoroki?" frowned Deku.
"What's with you?" spat Bakugou.
"Wait!" called out Amanda before anyone could get to the point. "What are you all doing here?"
Diana crossed her arms and looked at a guilty faced Akko. "Oh, I think you know why we're out here. Just a little routine that I'm surprised you weren't involved in."
"I said I was sorry!" pouted Akko.
"Like hell you are!" gritted Bakugou.
"Kaachan! It was an accident! We swear." pleaded Deku.
"Like hell it was." shook Diana.
"FORGET ABOUT IT!" yelled Todoroki, which caught everyone's attention again given how uncharacteristic it was of him. He could have cared less for Akko's screw up of the week and looked directly at Holbrooke and Ursula, the two staring at him eyes widened.
"What's wrong son?" asked Holbrooke.
Amanda tapped on Todoroki's arm. "Show her your phone."
Todoroki did that and sure enough, Ursula and Holbrooke's faces dropped accordingly.
"This is really bad." gulped Holbrooke.
Deku gasped, Holbbrooke was always upbeat. "What is?"
Ursula adjusted her glasses and cursed mentally. "Well, Todoroki's father cancelled the payments for that little bit of extra security we needed at the dance."
"With all the VIPs attending and ya know, a loose villain, we're a lot more vulnerable." bluntly stated Amanda. "Any chance we can cough up some extra cash?"
Ursula shook her head no. "Luna Nova isn't exactly made of money, and trying to get people to pay on such short notice for an experimental form defense isn't gonna cut it with the event being only two days away."
"Hey Diana, the Cavendishes are really wealthy right?" brought up Deku. "Maybe you can chip and finance the payment?"
Diana squinted at him. "I'm not exactly head of the household yet, and I really don't think my aunt cares enough for my safety to pay for a private security company."
"Let me guess, she thinks you can handle yourself fine?" deadpanned Todoroki.
"No, I just don't get along with that greedy hack of a woman." denied Diana, which caused Todoroki to shrug in response as it turned out not only he and Amanda had family issues.
"Do we really need those private military company jerks anyway?" blurted Bakugou. "Can't we all just fight back like we normally do if shit goes down, which might not even happen."
"Yeah, we got to think positive. Maybe we'll be left alone for once." added Akko.
"Oh, you naive child." whispered Amanda under her breath.
"I'm afraid it's too risky to host a dance if we don't have that kind of backup. We teachers can only do so much against a number one villain." claimed Ursula, even though she knew she was more than capable of handling the threat alone, but because that would require her to risk outing herself as Chariot, she pushed the conversation towards extra defense.
Holbrooke bit her lip. "Well, we're going to need to raise money within two days. Any ideas?"
"You're smart bunny, got any plans?" asked Akko to Deku.
"I'm not exactly a business genius," chuckled Deku. "Just a working class joe."
"Wait, bunny! That's it." A lightbulb went over Akko's head and she squealed in delight.
"Care to share?" muttered Todoroki, desperate to get funds.
Akko clasped her hands together. "Trust me, we'll make some cash quick."
Deku blinked one eye at a time as he realized what he and his friends had gotten into.
"How. How did it come to this?" said Todoroki, breaking the silence.
"Are you gonna turn back?" hissed Bakugou, stern and looking in the same direction as the guys.
"Not at all." replied Todoroki.
"Right, the benefit is too much for us to let go of just because of the costs." stammered Deku.
Having made the finishing touches to her light makeup, applied by Diana's magic of course, Akko made another happy sound and skipped over to the heroes to get their opinion.
And considering what she was wearing, skipping was all too appropriate.
"What do you three think?" beamed Akko.
Deku had to be the first to reply to his girlfriend. "Lovely!"
"Good enough." was all Bakugou could say.
"Certainly attractive." nodded Todoroki.
"Yay!" cheered Akko, eyeing Deku in his current state. "What's wrong Deku? You've seen me in this red bunny outfit before."
"Oh yeah! But it's still hot." squealed Deku, trying hard not to stare anywhere else other than her face. The memories of a few nights ago where he had made out with Akko in that bunny outfit continued to flood his mind, and truth be told he was a little more attracted than embarrassed.
"I do think I applied more effort into making myself look more presentable." bragged Diana, as she walked on over with an emphasis on swaying her hips, the sounds of her high heels hitting the floor echoing in the room.
Bakugou took a deep breath as he admired Diana. Unlike Akko, her bunny girl outfit was a shade of blue that matched her eyes.
She placed her hands on her hips and gave them a final sway, catching Bakugou's attention as he gave her a nod of approval, which she returned.
"I ain't protesting this shit, but we're sure we're gonna make money out of this bunny cafe?" called Bakugou.
"Of course we are blondy!" called out Amanda, whose bunny outfit was a green that too matched her eyes. The boys kicked themselves for only now noticing the irony in their choices of out fit.
She gave Todoroki and the boys a little twirl, emphasizing her rear much to Diana and Akko's annoyance. "Why wouldn't we make dough?"
"I'm guessing we're banking on the horniness of the guys at Appleton? For the lack of better term." said Todoroki, hating himself for uttering that.
"Not just them, but their buddies too." laughed Amanda.
"I wouldn't put it past a bunch of rich young men to speed on over here for the chance to see us in fine bunny outfits while we also serve them their meals." remarked Diana, flexing her hair and emphasizing her figure to Bakugou, who unlike Deku was shameless about staring at her enhanced chest.
"That, AND I got Andrew to text all of his buddies and even the dozens of girls who still have a crush on him." chirped Akko, trying hard not to giggle at poor Deku's complexion. Considering that their bunny outfit forgoed the traditional stockings, there were bare long legs and thighs for Deku to stare at all day.
"And don't forget, we're banking on YOU guys too." smirked Amanda.
Deku looked at what he and his lads were wearing and laughed sheepishly. "Right, we're all a bunch of bunnies here aren't we?"
"But why are you all sexy and we're all….fluffy?" hissed Bakugou. Unlike the ladies' revealing outfit of high heels, corset, bunny ears, a collar and bowtie, the gentlemen were wearing what amounted to bunny footie pyjamas. Not a bit of skin revealed except their face.
"We do look like children's characters." added Todoroki.
The girls looked insulted and marched on over as if to scold them.
Rather than bracing themselves for a slap however, they all found their cheeks pulled and hair stroked by their girlfriends, the latter taking pleasure in teasing the boys. Since they were in high heels, the boys were all looking up at them in unison.
"Don't you DARE say that yourself bunny." mused Akko. "You all look so adorable like this."
Diana smirked and raised her eyebrows as she played with Bakugou's face. "I just love the mixture of raw manly energy and cute. Wouldn't you agree Bakugou?"
"And you all look totally hot." winked Amanda.
"In what world?" groaned Bakugou.
"The world where everyone is gonna come up to our cafe to see you all dressed so adorably of course!" squealed Akko.
"Let go of him Diana!" called out another voice, belonging to Barbara.
Of course, she was accompanied by Hannah. "He's gonna blow everything up again."
The boys glanced to the side to find Hannah and Barbara wearing the same bunny girl outfits as their girlfriends. A mixture of not wanting to be left behind by Diana and wanting to get attention themselves drove them to join up.
Diana let go of Bakugou and shook her head at her roommates. "You two worry about me far too much."
"Come on, he's still a brute." stammered Hannah.
"And not that we like really care, but what do you think of us boys?" asked Barbara, striking a pose with Hannah as they awaited the opinion of the heroes.
While the three UA High students still had a bit of tension with the remaining two catty students of Luna Nova, they figured an honest opinion was useful in a situation where money needed to be made. They studied the pose they made, how their outfit complimented their figures and cute faces, but all attention was on one particular part of their body, which even Deku found himself focusing on over their legs.
Todoroki was the first to say it. "Did you two use the same spell Akko, Diana and Amanda used at the hot springs to…"
"NO!" interrupted all of the witches.
"For the millionth time, we were always like this." argued Amanda.
"I'm not so sure about Akko though." snickered Hannah.
Akko shot her the evil eye. "Haha very funny."
Another voice chimed in, catching everyone off guard, which was very characteristic for Wangari.
Wangari too waltzed in with a bunny outfit, and certain enhancements of course, and bounced on over to the heroes.
Before the three of them could react, she tossed an arm around Bakugou and shoved his face into the microphone to do the usual.
"So, how do you feel about taking part in this glorious fundraiser for the benefit of Luna Nova?" asked Wangari.
"Who the fuck let her in!" was all the response Bakugou gave her.
"Oh come on, she'd be a perfect announcer." protested Akko.
"But she's pestering me!" gritted Bakugou, surprised by Wangari's strong grip.
Diana didn't know whether to be amused or annoyed by Wangari's antics. "We needed some extra help, and she agreed as long as she'd be granted an interview with you three about being bunnies and truth be told, everything since you crash landed at Luna Nova."
"Fat chance, right you two freaks!" glared Bakugou at Deku and Todoroki.
The two heroes eyed each other hesitantly, and that was all the response Bakugou needed to confirm Wangari wasn't getting anything.
Amanda placed a finger on her lip. "That interview is gonna have to wait. He really is about to blow up."
Suddenly, a door slammed open and in came Andrew and Frank, wearing the footy pyjama version of the bunny suit like the three heroes.
"What even is in this." gritted Andrew, who blushed upon noticing that the girls and the heroes were just now witnessing him in his adorable and pathetic getup.
"Hey man we agreed to this." reminded Frank.
They paced a bit more with the crate and placed it down, the two taking a deep breath once their work was done.
Andrew wiped some sweat from his forehead. "Why did I agree to this? Both the bunny stuff and lifting this piece of junk."
Hannah clasped her hands and began drooling. "Because you look adorable you beautiful hunk!"
"And dude, we can't make people do what we're not willing to do." added Frank.
"And finally, your face is going to attract most of the young female crowd." concluded Diana.
"Alright I get it," nodded Andrew. "But me and Frank are just gonna sit around and be petted or something?"
"Yep," replied Akko. "You're a hunk, Frank is adorable, Todoroki is beautiful and Deku is all of the above!" Akko flinched as the other girls stared at her for her bragging. "Um...so….you four are on petting duty while those girls eat you up."
"Don't worry Andrew, I'll give you extra attention after all this!" winked Hannah.
Frank pointed at Bakugou. "He's not being petted?"
Amanda laughed out loud. "Are you kidding, who would in their mind would wanna…"
SLAP
Diana's blow wasn't too hard but it did make Amanda shove in her in retaliation. Luckily, that was that and there wasn't any further conflict between them.
Barbara made the explanation. "Bakugou's better as a cook. Surprisingly. Jasminka also didn't have the time to commit."
"And he'll surely share his recipes after this ordeal right?" pleaded Wangari.
Bakugou shook his head. "Enough talk, I gotta get cooking and you girls need to get waiting and you freaks need to get petted or some…"
And then, another pair of doors burst open revealing yet another man in the bunny outfit appeared. Before them all was the familiar and grating sight of a certain Appleton student that was less than agreeable.
"Louis?" blurted everyone in the room.
Frank for once lost his usual jovial nature and sighed at the sight of the Appleton jerk. "Oh boy, what are you doing here man?"
"And to think nothing could make the experience of dressing up as a fluffy bunny worth it." said Andrew, stoic as ever.
Louis took a deep breath and slammed his foot on the ground rapidly, comically like an actual rabbit. "Look, I ran into some problems on one of my Scotland trips and I need the extra cash or I'm not getting my month's allowance."
"Oh gee, I wonder how a rich fucker like you will survive without it." mocked Bakugou.
"Don't listen to anyone!" piped up Barbara, rushing to her future date, which caused Louis to flinch back in surprise, his face turning red. "You look adorable babe. I just have to cuddle with you after this."
Louis winked at her before turning sour and facing Bakugou. "Listen pal, I got in an order for some fresher ingredients because I can't trust you not to poison everything. All of it's in the back so we have to unload."
"Wow, you did something useful for once." retorted Bakugou.
"I'm trying to fucking help you here. I don't really trust anyone guarding us at the dance because all of you are bad luck magnets so at least strength in numbers with extra hired security will calm me down." explained Louis.
A hand then appeared on Louis' shoulder. "Calm down young man. We're all in this endeavor together."
All male jaws dropped as eyes turned to who the voice and hand belonged to.
Behind Louis was Ursula, and like her witch students, wore the seductive version of the bunny outfit. And once again, no one seemed to take height and width differences into account as she wore the same sized outfit as her students. Thus, the boys really appreciated how tight her corset hugged her.
The witch students let it go, but were a little ticked that using magic to grow in height and in untouched places would be a little too obvious. For now, it was just obvious body goals.
Almost collapsing, Louis took a step forward and turned around to face Ursula, unable to comprehend that he held any negative opinions about witches a week or two ago.
"We really do appreciate your help Louis. I know you find our way of life difficult, but your, Andrew's and Frank's connections really eased the logistics problems." thanked Ursula.
Louis bit his lip. "Um….sure…"
Frank bumped Andrew's arm. "Hey uh...we should help unload more supplies."
Andrew too needed a moment. "Right…..let's..go out. Louis! You coming?"
Louis gave a silent nod, still tranced by Ursula's beauty, as he and the other two Appleton students made their way out.
Right before escaping from everyone's view, the Appleton trio nearly bumped into another woman about Ursula's height and age. She had lilac hair and roughly the same gifted build as Ursula as indicated by what her bunny suit revealed, but had a sterner expression.
The Appleton students quickly apologized, struck by her looks as well, and finally vanished.
When the second woman made herself more apparent to the crowd, it caused the three heroes to nearly gasp, but they managed to control their emotions in time.
Oblivious to their demeanor, Ursula smiled and placed her arm around the second woman, who had noticed the heroes and had an expression that was a mix of annoyance and surprise. Normally, the site of two voluptuous women next to each other would drive the heroes mad with lust, but now they were feeling something else.
Ursula smiled and introduced her friend. "Boys, I'd like you to meet my friend from Italy, Croix! She was supposed to meet us back at Bath, but she got into an accident, but I guess better late than never."
And that accident of course was beating her up under the impression she was a villain given her rather confrontational behaviour with Bakugou. Croix's looks didn't exactly undermine their theory she was a villain in disguise.
"She's really great with magi-tech. Just like Cosntanze!" said Akko.
"I've written so much about her work in the paper." added Wangari.
Deku tried to save face. "Oh, uh, magi-tech. That's cool."
Ursula laughed at the heroes' demeanor. "Forgive them Croix, I think they've fallen in love with you."
"Hah! Fat chance on that lady." snorted Amanda.
Croix continued to stare at the three heroes and formed an evil smile, a smile that once again could have successfully convinced them that she was a villain.
"Hi boys….are you the three heroes I've heard oh so much about?" snickered Croix.
Bakugou took the initiative to answer. At least he was in a position to feign ignorance by claiming his nervousness was due to Croix wearing a bunny suit. "Yeah that's us. So you're one of Ursula's buddies?"
"Why yes!" giggled Croix, enjoying how she made them feel, and decided something needed reiterating. "Like Ursula said, I was supposed to meet you a while back at the hot springs, but I had an...accident…"
Not spilling the beans was the hardest thing the heroes had to do all week.
Croix continued on. "But I was compensated by winning some money later that day, isn't that crazy how things work out? Now that I'm done splurging however, I get to finally spend the day with you all at this magical Bunny Cafe. Isn't that great?"
"Really great." gulped Deku.
Oblivious, Ursula tightened her grip on Croix and laughed. "Oh, they're so nervous. I feel like a teenager again."
"Well, it's nice for these boys to realize what real women look like." bragged Croix, moving a hand down her body, and confirming the fears of the students that Ursula and Croix agreed to this to feel younger. "And you three are quite adorable in those bunny costumes. I'm sure all the ladies will love petting you."
"I know I do." whispered Diana under her breath, eliciting a giggle from Hannah and Barbara.
Todoroki sighed. "So you two are gonna work as waitresses too right?"
"Certainly," confirmed Croix. "And I intend to spice up some of the decor here. A little magitech Roman if you'd like."
"Oh, and I'm going to be helping Deku out with the show later on." told Ursula. She was clearly excited about being in some form of spotlight, even though it would nowhere near match the spectacle and scale of her Shiny Chariot shows.
Deku's pupils all the while shrunk. "SHOW!"
"Yep, don't you remember? I told you when you were having one of your rants," explained Akko, which prompted a facepalm from everyone. "You were so cute, but I...think you weren't listening."
Barbara stomped her foot. "YOU THINK?"
Ursula laughed. "Oh don't worry, the other witches will help you through it. We're banking on you just standing there and being adorable anyway"
"Pray for me." whispered Deku, which Bakugou and Todoroki declined to do via silence.
"Son of a bitch this is getting bizarre," complained Bakugou. "Are there any more freaks we're going to have to deal with? I want to get cooking already for fuck's sake.
And on cue, another set of doors slammed open. It dawned on everyone how big the venue was. After all, they expected a big crowd to make bank.
The footsteps of the two men that entered the room filled everyone's ears. As they approached the students from the back, Ursula and Chariot got first glance at who came in, and their faces were filled with joy.
"Bonjour!" greeted a haughty French voice.
"Ciao!" said a calmer Italian one.
Ursula blushed like a schoolgirl. "Ohhhh you two look adorable!"
"Hah, sorry boys, but the men have put you in their place." bragged Croix.
The two wasted no time walking over to the two new figures, while the students turned around in curiosity.
They proceeded to gasp in awe at the size of the two men now embracing Ursula and Croix. Although they too were wearing the male version of the bunny suit, it didn't hide the fact that they were buff and massive. If anything, the fact that those suits were about to burst only made them look more intimidating than cute.
Their bodies were to the hero students as were the Ursula's and Croix's to the witch students.
The one hugging Ursula had an interesting set of silver hair combed upward to an absurd degree alongside two earrings while the one hugging Croix had a set of blond hair curled at the front in ways they could only describe as resembling donuts.
Ursula nuzzled what was clearly her boyfriend's chest. "Oh I'm so happy you decided to do work on the Bunny Cafe!"
"Of course my dear," laughed the Frenchman. "Anything to help you after all of you've done for me."
"I'm confused." muttered Deku.
"That's Ursula's boyfriend from France," said Amanda. "Weird history with Ursula. All I know is that he likes sword fighting and has this magic power no one has ever seen. Literally. We can't see how he does half the shit he does when he visits."
"I think he's going to be only male waiter?" guessed Hannah.
"Makes sense. French accent, buff and graceful. I'd be down for him." said Bakugou with a completely straight face, before reassuring Diana. "Of course, nothing compares to you babe."
"That was obvious." smiled Diana, honestly touched.
The Italian man broke the hug and shot Croix an assuring smile. "Don't worry my love, I've run this kind of establishment multiple times with Passione. I'll be the best bouncer AND receptionist there is."
"So that's what he's doing." noted Todoroki.
"So that's Croix's boyfriend?" whimpered Deku.
"Yeah!" nodded Amanda. "She met him in Italy a while back and he too has this weird invisible power thing. He's more into organic magic though so it's kind of a nice contrast with Croix don't ya think?"
"Word on the street is that he's part vampire and a gang lord back in Naples." muttered Akko.
"He refuses to divulge any info on that." said Wangari.
"Cute, but I'm gonna keep my distance." added Barbara.
Bakugou bit his lip and shook his head. "This is getting stupid. I'm gonna get out of here before those two muscle freaks rip their suits, and all of you jerks need to get your ass moving, we're opening in a bit."
Deku smiled sheepishly. "I hope to God this works."
