A fic based on the song Sara Beth for monster high. Heath has been feeling pretty sick lately so his parents take him to the doctor. Where he gets some news that scare him out of his wits. What will his friends and peers say. What will his crush think?

Heath was at school and he hasn't been feeling well lately. He was feeling pretty bad. "You alright Heath? You don't look so hot," Clawd said.

"I don't know my parents are coming by later to take me to the doctor," Heath said.

"Okay," Clawd said.

"Heath your parents are here," Bloodgood said.

"Coming," Heath said.

Heath was at the doctor's office and the doctor examined him and then drew some blood. "Okay Heath we will look at your blood and call you and your parents back in a hour with the results." the doctor said.

"Okay," Heath said.

Heath and his parents were at a book store when the doctor called them. "Okay they got the results time to head back to the doctors," Heath's father said.

Heath was wondering what the doctor was going to say. He was pretty worried. He hasn't been feeling to good for sometime. He also noticed a lump in his side while in the shower.

"Okay come with me," the nurse said.

"Okay we have the results of your blood test." the doctor said. "Heath you have kidney cancer," he said.

"What?" Heath said.

"Yes and it looks like it's just in the early stages from the blood work and x-rays, so looks like we caught early. But you are going to need chemo, It should help, it's a good strong treatment, like I said I think we caught it early," the doctor said.

Heath was scared right out of his mind. He was scared because cancer was dangerous for everything thing that can get it even monsters, and the treatment will cause all kinds of side effect including hair loss. He saw his parents looked worried too. Heath was also worried because of his friends what would they say?

Heath started Chemo treatment. He went back to school the next day. "How did the doctor's visit go?" Manny asked.

"Yes did it go alright?" Clawd asked.

"Hey we heard you went to the doctor are you alright?" Lagoona asked coming up with the girls.

"I was told I have kidney cancer," Heath said.

"What?" his friends said.

"You heard me I am get regular chemo treatments, I just want to be alone right now," Heath said walking away.

"Poor Heath," Clawdeen said.

"Poor guy, that must be something that is unimaginable to go through," Lagoona said.

"I feel so bad for him," Abbey said.

A few weeks later Heath woke up and discovered he had no hair. His mother hugged his mom. Some of the kids teased him at school when his hair had started falling out and now it could get worse because now he had no hair. He was wearing a hat. Now he was sure no girl would want to go to the dance with him because he was hairless.

His friends felt so bad for him. Abbey came up to him. "Heath come to dance with me?" Abbey asked.

"Sure," Heath said. He was surprised Abbey asked him even though he was hair less. Heath picked Abbey up and he saw she was wearing a hat and when they got the dance he decided to ask her why. "Why are you wearing a hat?" he asked.

Abbey took off her hat. The school was amazed and some cried. Because just this morning Abbey had hair and she had shaved her head. Heath smiled and touch her head.

"You did this for me?" Heath asked.

"Yes, I love you," Abbey said.

"I love you too," Heath said and the two of them danced.

Heath finally had a girl for him. His first true love.
