Japan burned. The unthinkable happened one foggy night. Godzilla had seemingly died, killed by an ancient terror, Yamata no Orochi. While the hydra shredded Japan, it was Gezora of all kaiju who found the dethroned king and brought the Elder Godzilla, the same one that fought the defeated Godzilla before. Currently, he was resting beside the mutated Godzillasaurus, lending the king the energy he needed. Gezora, who was joined by Varan, Zilla, Ultraman, Ultraseven, Iris, and Gamera, looked on, worry in his big googly eyes. So far, the only movement from the true King of the Monsters was a few twitches, ash falling from his burnt face.
Gamera looked up when he saw Mothra, Battra, Gigan, Megalon, the Futurians' King Ghidorah, who had been freed from their control, and Rodan, who was carrying Anguirus. As they landed, the turtle growled gently, wondering where Godzilla Jr was. Rodan crowed back, he was with Diagoro watching Minya. Gamera nodded back, understanding, then turned his attention to the sky, where the Argo was supposed to be.
Mothra landed, sending orange energy from her aging form to her ally. Iris let out a nervous sound. He was found and raised by the human physic Miki and had bounded with the Kaiju King. His head jerked up at the sound of the Argo flying in. The airship dropped something via parachute and shot away. The Elder got up and hurried to the waves, Gezora, Varan, and Zilla following. King Ghidorah, Gigan, Megalon, the Ultras, Rodan, Gamera, Mothra, Battra, and Iris shot into the air, just as the atomic bomb went off, producing a giant mushroom cloud.
In the smoke, a pair of burning orange eyes opened.
An explosion of fire consumed a series of buildings, the eight-headed terror Orochi roared out the promise of death to all. But as he advanced toward Tokyo Tower, a red bead with an orange spiral ripped into his back, sending chunks of his red flesh flying. He turned around and was greeted by a sight that sent chills down his spine.
Burning Godzilla let loose his signature roar. Orochi swallowed his fear and let loose with all eight heads breathing fire on the kaiju. Godzilla stomped through the flames and punched one of the heads so hard it was brain-dead in an instant. Orochi shrieked in rage at this and bit down on his shoulders with two of his heads.
He regretted it instantly.
One head let go, hissing in pain. The other couldn't, due to the Kaiju King grabbing it and forcing it to stay there. After a while, it started to move a bit and Godzilla let go. The head hissed and flailed, its teeth melted. The eight-headed serpent backed up, his red eyes crackling with energy. Red lightning shot forth, causing the king to shriek in pain, his body seizing up. Orochi grinned, only to jerk back in shock when his foe literally shook it off and grinned.
His turn.
Pillers of energy erupted from his body as his orange plates burst with energy. He fired his Burning Atomic Breath, blowing a chunk out of Orochi's right front leg. The hydra wailed, staggering back, only to scream as the Garuda and Super X bombarded him. Burning Godzilla looked about and saw jets, the Argo, the Gotango, and the rest of the JSDF arriving to support him.
Godzilla grinned toothily before charging forward, aiming for his foe's side. Orochi let out a high-pitched yelp as Gojira chomped into his side. Several of his heads curved over, red lightning crackling in his jaws. The bolts managed to slice through his flesh, but the wounds burned shut and healed. Godzilla jerked back, tearing a mouthful of Orochi's red flesh off.
He spat out the flesh and lashed out with orange claws, slicing trenches in his foe's side. Pillers of atomic energy erupted from his body as he unleashed a Nuclear Pulse. Orochi screamed in agony as his red flesh blackened and peeled back like a banana's skin. He tried to turn around, but Godzilla stayed out of reach. His body flashed and he let loose with his Burning Atomic Breath, blowing Orochi's smaller right hind leg to bits.
As the Argo pelleted him, he decided to tear it out of the sky with his own fangs. He launched into the air but suddenly jerked to a stop. Burning Godzilla roared at him, holding his tail. Before Orochi could zap him, the king yanked down, slamming him to the ground. The sounds of the other kaiju cheering him on motivated him to repeat the action, snapping a few of Orochi's ribs.
Orochi snapped his tail out of the king's grip and tried to knock Godzilla upside the head. One blast later and Orochi's tail was half as long. Orochi bellowed in rage and turned around and flew at him, smashing the King of the Monsters in the head with a massive foot as he passed. He landed and turned around, watching Burning Godzilla crash to the ground.
Godzilla groaned from both the pain in his head and his internal body heat growing by the minute. He climbed back to his clawed feet and unleashed another Nuclear Pulse. Orochi screamed as he took it to the faces, and the Super X took the opportunity to fire some Cadmium Missiles down his throats, weakening him. As the serpent writhed, Godzilla stomped forward and whipped around, swinging his tail as he did.
Orochi screamed in agony as one of his lower jaws was torn off by the tail whip. Godzilla stomped to the hydra's side and started tearing away, his orange patches glowing brighter. Orochi screamed in both pain and rage. Curse his long body. He blasted more lightning, this time from both his eyes and maws. Godzilla staggered back, hissing as his muscles were fried. The Garuda swooped in, blasting Orochi with its High Power Maser Beam Cannons, tearing into his wounds. The Gotango flew to Burning Godzilla's level, now on autopilot.
The Kaiju King grabbed the ship, its drill spinning. He charged forward, aiming for Orochi's injured front leg. The serpent was too busy with the Argo to notice.
Blood sprayed through the air and hissed when it landed on Godzilla's superheated skin. Orochi nearly blew a lung telling the world his pain. Godzilla backed up and fired his firey beam, nailing the Gotango. The resulting explosion destroyed both the ship and Orochi's leg. As Orochi grew horse from screaming, Godzilla looked at his spines which were starting to melt, energy seeping out. Time to end this battle.
Orochi groaned and looked at Godzilla, who was walking away. His eyelids twitched. No one walked away from him, all would DIE! His eyes and mouths crackled with lightning. The red beams shot forth, hitting the king in the spines. All the firey energy was released.
Right at Orochi.
The serpent's cries died out as the power of Burning Godzilla hit them in the faces. Eyes widened and popped, and flesh melted. The bone soon followed. And when the beam hit the body of Orochi, it went up in a fireball the size of the Empire State Building.
Godzilla smiled toothly, his body returning to normal. He lifted his head and roared, telling the world of his victory. Then he fell, shaking the earth. It would be a while, but the King would wake up to a new day, fully healed.
