!This is my first time writing a fiction while watching the show rather than finishing/catching up with the show first (more or less); hope it works out well!
This is a work I was working on a long while ago (possibly years) but I only did part of the first chapter and never posted it yet, so if my writing style seems to change partway through the chapter and moving forward, oh well you've been warned. Although there will be some editing on what I've already written.
I don't know what I'll change yet as I haven't watched beyond the second episode of the show but I still expect you as readers to have watched the show rather than expecting me to properly re-account things, as I'm a bit bad at that.
(A/N: I never understood people shipping two people because they dislike each-other or are opposites or just because a compliment or blush, therefore if that occurs in the show I won't be writing for them to get together + I never did like shipping the 'bad' with the 'good', I think good deserves better.)

When describing anime Danny Fenton and Ogami Rei I found that if you're not looking directly at them they're descriptions are fairly similar, which I shall have fun with.
I'm also a bit bad at honorifics so just imagine them there most of the time as writing them can sometimes feel like it's interrupting the scene.

Now onto the show...book...writing...
Danny knows of there being different afterlives as well as other dimensions, thus calling the "Ghost Zone" that may have been less appropriate than originally thought, which is also part of the reason it was called the "infinite Realms" by its inhabitants, which kind of makes sense seeing as how empty the "Ghost Zone" actually is or seems to be, so Danny really was questioning his observational skills when Clockwork told him that tidbit of information.
But he knows for certain that he definitely saw people suddenly burning alive in blue unnatural flames and the male teen around his age in the middle of them looking directly at the him and the only other passenger in the bus a young girl who also looks to be the same age as Danny, which confirmed the scene being real by her reaction and especially when she had the bus stop and so she could help in some way. He's also pretty sure this isn't supposed to be a normal occurrence even if he's in a new place.
Danny took a subtle liking to that characteristic of doing what's right and got off the bus as well to see if there is any way he could help in his human form or ghost if it comes to that, although he'd like to keep his secret in his new home a bit longer if he can.
The girl and Danny, after confirming that Danny also saw the scene, were running frantically in the rain to seek help when she stopped a police officer on a bike and basically dragged him to the officer wasn't much help as all the evidence besides scorch marks were missing and he claimed that the marks must have been caused by homeless man's fire.
The girl insisted to the officer of seeing people burning alive but the officer just asked how 'high' she was, at which point Danny states what he witnessed as well but that only led to the officer claiming Danny of being a "sympathizing boyfriend" much to the embarrassment of both Danny and the girl, to which Danny just states "That's a mistake I don't even know her name, never mind being her boyfriend. -he turns towards the girl- No offense meant."
"None taken."
The cop just looks uncaring or unconvinced before telling the two teens to just head to their respective homes. The girl seemed too deep in thought for conversation on the way back to the bus, which Danny wondered why the driver stayed though figured he was probably curious of the unfolding events.
Before leaving though Danny tried tapping into as much of his advanced hearing as he could in his human form to see if he could determine whether the guy was still around. He heard the very faint extra heartbeat behind some trees confirming that they're being watched. He lost the sound though as he got on the bus but intuition tells him that they're still being watched.
The girl snaps out of her thoughts during the ride on the bus, not completely but enough to hold conversation so Danny begins by taking a seat next to her, holding out his hand and introducing himself, "Now that your out of your head, hi, my name is Danny, don't worry about a last name, it's nice to meet you."
The girl confused for just a moment, smiles before accepting the handshake and introducing herself as well, "Mine is Sakurakoji, Sakura; and likewise." They have a pleasant conversation during the bus ride and Danny states that they will likely see each other again. Just as Sakurakoji is about to get off at her stop, Danny calls out to her and says, "Try to get good sleep tonight and try not to worry about it too much, I know how traumatizing a sight like that is, so just try to get some rest and not think too much about it." The girl smiles again at Danny before replying, "Thanks, you too" before getting off the bus. Danny does worry about her though and their potential stalker so he makes an invisible clone follow her and keep watch over her house.
The next morning after helping out with the aikido martial arts club Sakurakoji heads to class with her best friend Aoba Takatsu before,
Aoba Takatsu: "Ah, Miss Kanada! Good morning!"
Miss Kanada (the teacher): "Good morning, Takatsu, Sakurakoji."
Takatsu referring to two dark haired blue eyed students walking with the teacher: "Huh. Who are they?"
Miss Kanada: "Ah, these are two transfer students who will be in our class starting today."
Sakurakoji pays attention to the transfers only to be surprised by the 2 very familiar faces, specifically a tall male teen with matted spiky black hair and piercing dark grey-blue eyes (not Danny) that was standing in the middle of a circle of burning people last night and the raven haired teen with a slightly more wild windswept spiky hair mostly at his bangs with kind bright light blue soothing yet soul-piercing eyes that she met on the bus the previous night (Danny).
Danny realizing that Sakurakoji is really terrible at hiding her emotions: "Hey Sakurakoji, told ya we'd see each other again. I was transferring to this school and when I saw you wearing this school's uniform yesterday I felt like I'd surprise you."
Takatsu: "Huh Sakurakoji you already know one of them? Lucky." Takatsu turns towards Danny and extends a hand with a smile on her face, "I'm Aoba Takatsu, Sakura's best friend and right hand."
The teacher smiled at the interaction and lead everyone into class with, "come on in class is about to start and we still need to have you two transfer students introduce yourselves."
In the classroom.
The first new "transfer" wrote his name on the board and introduced himself as Ogami Rei, receiving a lot of approval from almost every girl in the class.
The teacher then begins his introduction with, "Okay, okay, quiet down -silencing the excited girls-. For reasons having to do with his parents' work, Ogami is moving here by himself. Now surprisingly we have a second transfer student today too, he's from America, -she gestures for Danny to write his name on the board as well-."
Danny does just that and writes his first name on the board in both the English alphabet and Katakana for the Japanese translation. "My name is Danny, no need to worry about a surname, as Miss Kanada just said I'm from America, it's nice to meet all of you and sorry if my Japanese could still use work."
The girls went crazy over the "foreigner" just as they had for Ogami Rei, some complimenting his fluency and Danny even heard a few call him cute which promptly caused a small blush and Danny rubbing the back of his head abashed which didn't go unnoticed in turn prompting some more gasp and even a few squeals intensifying the "cute" comments.
Miss Kanada: "Okay, okay, once again everyone quiet down. Danny is also here alone for personal reasons, so please everyone, let's all make them both feel welcome, okay?"
Of course Danny recognized the guy as the one from last night but he is not planning to give that away so easily plus there's the small chance he could be mistaken.
Meanwhile Sakura is unsure as to how to react and is thinking, 'There's no way this is coincidence right? And that guy Ogami is definitely the guy from last night... no doubt about it... but why did Danny also just transfer here and show no recognition of the guy, I thought he saw him too.' Danny then spots Sakura sitting with an unsure expression on her face and smiles before taking a seat next to her (A/N: Goodbye extra!) with Ogami sitting behind Danny and diagonally from Sakurakoji.
It seems they got lucky with the seats being empty but apparently the teacher just needs to get an extra desk brought in as the empty desk where Danny sat down belonged to a sick student. Danny knows that he shouldn't have been transferred into this class due to the capacity limit but when he saw Ogami Rei transferring into this class Danny had to overshadow the headmaster and change his schedule and placing so that he could keep an eye on him, just in case. He doesn't want to think about how Ogami Rei seat was free of a student and just hoped that the missing student was just forcibly transferred as the worse case scenario.
When the bell rings for lunch and everyone is packing up Danny can see Sakurakoji is not very subtly glaring at Ogami Rei so he decides to act now before she could do something foolish, "Sakurakoji."
That gets her attention as she turns to Danny and straight out ask him, "What are you doing here Danny? Why suddenly transfer? And why are you acting like nothing happened?"
Danny chuckles a little and smiles, although he was inwardly grimacing a bit at her asking about the event in front of the main suspect, before replying, "Like I already told you I was already transferring here and felt like surprising you, but I didn't know we would end up in the same classes; that or the fact there'd be two transfers today it really was a coincidence."
Sakurakoji accepts the answers for Danny but still doesn't understand Ogami transferring in because that can't be coincidence and she still doesn't understand the reason Danny doesn't recognize him or answer that question, 'maybe he didn't get a good look at the guy last night and only saw the people burning?'
Sakura keeps looking back at Ogami suspicious of everything about him then Sakura's friend, Aoba, sits across from her, before Danny could keep the conversation going, and asks, "What is it Sakura? Taking an interest in Ogami? Or maybe Danny? -whispering the last part-" Of course Danny with his enhanced hearing, even if it wasn't needed this time, hears that perfectly clear and almost chokes on his food before just hiding his face to his desk.
Aoba takes notice of this reaction after what she said and says with amusement in her tone, "Wow did he hear that, he's got good hearing." Sakura seems to notice something about Ogami and looks like she's about to confront him, which Danny notices when she stands up, one thought going through his mind, 'What are you doing?'
Especially after she calls out Ogami's name and walking over to his desk, receiving a, "What is it, Miss Sakurakoji?" Slamming her hand on his desk and saying, "I wish to speak to you alone. Come along with me."
Receiving the reply, "Very well" causing Danny to almost choke on his food again and face palm while the rest of the class looked taken aback as if they just heard the most shocking news possible, soon followed by the rumor of Sakura asking Ogami out spreading through the school in record time leaving Danny on the verge of hysteria behind the collected mask attempting to fool Ogami.
Three thoughts came across Danny's mind at that time, '1. Is she really that naive? 2. I'm glad my invisible clone is still following her, and 3. Rumors really travel fast in this school."
Following everyone else to the roof where Sakura is "confessing her love" Danny could easily hear the conversation with his increased hearing and through his clone but it seemed that somehow even though Sakura wasn't being very quiet about it nobody else could hear what they were talking about; somewhat to Danny's amusement in his currently mixed emotions another thought repeating itself, "She's not one for subtlety is she."
Danny already knew the guy wouldn't be that easy, he's obviously a good actor and he even transferred to the school meaning he's also got sources, Danny certainly thought it was obvious, but apparently not to everyone.
In truth Sakura wasn't 100% certain that Ogami was the guy from the night before and was about to call out Danny to see if he could confirm it's the same guy but then she saw his glove and figured it must be covering burn marks, solidifying her evidence; leaving one question: why wasn't Danny reacting to the guy at all? After the short conversation leaving Sakura with more questions and doubts than answers, Ogami walks through the door and looks at Danny.
Danny knowing the guy was scanning Danny for any give away didn't break his mask and asked, "So what happened, if you don't mind me ask-" being cut off by Sakura's friend shouting, "he turned you down?!" and almost causing a riot with the student body.
Still playing in character Danny chuckles a little and says to Ogami, "Heh, funny how you can make so many enemies by turning a girl down, although I don't care too much as it's only my first day and I only recently met Sakurakoji-san, well best of luck with the majority of the school's male population." Danny then turns away and proceeds towards the washroom.
After that it was both exasperating and amusing for Danny, to watch Sakura glaring and watching Ogami so closely for the rest of the day. People are definitely going to get the wrong idea at this rate, even if she is obsessing over the guy for one reason different then people expect.
As she keeps stalking him Danny stalks them both with an invisible duplicate and himself invisibly in order to keep Sakura safe and find information from Ogami, and realizes Sakura... is really terrible at stalking people, it's almost laughable.
Sakura loses sight of Ogami at the school door and proceeds towards the store then the park, or as she calls it, "the scene of the crime" which apparently is where Ogami should return to according to her logic, now with Ogami stalking her albeit a lot better.
After Sakura feeds a stray dog that's scared of her, Ogami comes out of hiding acting as though he wasn't following her. Danny watches their interactions and listens in on their conversation, two things coming to mind: 1. She is really easy to manipulate-ahem make blush and 2. Ogami definitely thinks he can feel someone is watching them, he just doesn't know it's Danny.
Showing up even after they part would be unwise of Danny as Ogami would still likely be keeping an eye on Sakura or try to find out if there really was a stalker. Thus Danny just plans for tomorrow leaving his invisible scout/clone to watch over Sakura and heads to his abandoned house/small mansion, he couldn't help himself with the irony of haunting the place; he knows he'll need to find a new place soon though since the abandoned building is due for demolishing and reconstruction.
The next day Sakura looked to be having doubts that Ogami was indeed the one who burned all those people. Sakura was trying to see if Danny really thought Ogami was innocent or not but Danny noticing how they were being watched by the man in question Danny opted to avoid the topic or sometimes Sakura. He knew he's already been confirmed by Ogami as the other witness but he's trying to make it seem he didn't get a look at the one who did it.
Eventually it seemed as though Sakura convinced herself mostly that Ogami wasn't the murderer and the two seemed closer which both Danny and Aoba noticed. Danny really wasn't sure if that would be better or not as she doesn't need to be dragged into the matter more than she has been. Danny had already has his clone invisibly monitor Ogami which did mean removing the scout from Sakura, at least until he had enough training to sustain two separate distanced and long term clones.
When Ogami replied to Sakura's inquiry about his profession Danny almost laughed/snorted at the reply of a trash man then Sakura calling it a noble profession; now Danny was inwardly sarcastically laughing and scowling at the aspect that he knew what trash man really meant and Sakura's naivety.
Danny decided to use his main body to walk with Sakura, visibly, outside while Ogami got a phone call. Danny's clone following Ogami and using slight super hearing (he learned to adjust it so that he doesn't get a headache, especially with a clone) could hear the conversation well enough to know Ogami plans to take action tonight.
But his phone conversation wasn't finished just yet and Danny was certainly glad that he switched to following Ogami this time around as his superior asked what Ogami was going to do about Sakura which was answered with eliminating her, which while Danny expected was still angry about.
After that Danny heard the rest of the conversation go, "and what about this Danny character? We still haven't been able to come up with anything about him and the description you gave us isn't really helping, it's like he didn't even exist before last night."
"I see. Even though he hasn't given away knowing anything about me being at the center of the incident he seems to have some experience with secrets and maybe even 'code:breakers' so I believe it would be wise to also eliminate him. Especially since he seems to protect Sakura and be on guard near me no matter how good he thinks his act is. He also seems harder to stalk so I'll seal with Sakurakoji first."
"Understood, do what is best."
Danny decides that he should stay with Sakura the whole night ready to use his own powers to intervene if the need be and thus turns his main body invisible to stalk her when they should've parted ways.
Just after dusk and just after Sakura fed the stray dog at the park a man's cry for help was shouted nearby. Invisibly flying in Danny's case and and running in Sakura's the two were heading towards the sound, Danny of course arriving first not that it would help much seeing how the distance was fairly short.
Using the little amount of time until Sakura gets there Danny turns visible nearby and runs towards the group of thugs, not having turned ghost as that light show would've been eye-drawing to say the least and he still needs his aces up his sleeve for other enemies, shouting, "Leave the guy be and get out of here while I'm still feeling generous!"
That seemed to annoy them as a few pulled out knives before some group leader guy steps forward with a disbelieving look in his eyes and looks like he's about to say something before Sakura shows up phone held up in front, police number on display and says, "Leave them alone! I have the police on the phone, if your smart then you'll leave right now!"
While they were rather annoyed by Danny it seems they were more humored by Sakura's proclamation if their snickering and chuckles was anything to go by. That's when Sakura saw the tattoo marks each of them had, a falcon.
Danny of course recognizes the falcon tattoos that Sakurakoji was talking about earlier as he was there when she told Ogami Rei about Dog.
Speaking of which Danny could hear the whimpering of Dog nearby probably deciding whether it should help them or not.
Danny subtly releases some of his aura to in an aggressive manner to keep the dog away, hopefully it works.
The leader looking guy moves forward a bit more more interested in addressing the girl than the boy and says, "Young lady, you shouldn't go sticking your nose into everything. Were just concerned about some of our pals that vanished here."
Once again Sakurakoji was displaying everything on her face and whispers, "They vanished... here...".
Danny wants to face palm again.
The leader guy: "Huh? What is it, young lady? You know something about it?"
"Was it two nights ago that you say your pals vanished?"
Danny: 'Oh no.' He prepares a better fighting stance ready to protect Sakurakoji, unaware of her own martial arts prowess.
The gang starts talking amongst themselves, "Hey!" "Is she in on it?"
The leader: "Sounds like you really do know something. Hey..."
Danny runs up to her as the rest of the gang is trying to surround her.
They seemingly forgot he was there for a moment as one of the members just says, "Oh yeah, that guy was there too."
Leader: "Now then, why don't you tell me everything you know? And you boy, stay out of this or we'll make you one of the most wanted by gangs and cops alike in our fair city."
Danny: "Not a chance Birdy, can't very well leave a damsel in distress or turn a blind eye now can I?"
Leader: "A white knight huh, and what did you just call me? Looks like your walking on you grave, punk."
Meanwhile Sakurakoji was still in a semi-shocked state upon reconfirming that the night two days prior really did happen and was mumbling, "Two nights ago... they vanished... Then it did happen."
A random gang member went to grab her while saying, "What are you mumbling to yourself about? Tell us what you know, now.." but Danny already grabbed his hand before it could grab her and threw the guy a few feet.
That seemed to shake Sakurakoji out of her thoughts as she got in her own defensive stance which Danny had to admit was actually pretty good leading him to the conclusion that she may be able to handle herself at least a bit giving him some more leeway, though he wouldn't really risk it.
Sakurakoji just stand back to back with Danny leaving him with little option but to accept that she wants to fight as well and slightly glares at the leader, "Now that I know it really happened, that will do.I have nothing more to say to you. But you Danny, we're talking later."
Whether it was Danny throwing one of their members or Sakurakoji getting into a fighting stance herself and saying what she said that it the gang members were now charging at the two of them. Danny and Sakurakoji were staying back to back for the most part with about a foot or 2 of space between them in order to move with more freedom.
Danny and Sakurakoji both ducked punches being thrown at them which led to the two gang members losing a bit of their balance which D and S took advantage of to throw their respective opponents into each other and moving on to the next batch of gang members.
Danny tripped one coming at him which caused the guy behind that one to stumble which lead to Danny kneeing the first guy in the head with human strength and roundhouse kicking the off balance guy behind him with just a bit more strength, both going down for the count continuing to dodge and hit other on-comers.
Sakurakoji flipped a guy coming at her over her shoulder and threw him a few feet away while kick swept all the other approaching members coming at her while gracefully dodging every attack they threw at her while throwing in her own punch and kick here and there.
As the guys weren't particularly strong Danny's mind partly lingered to Sakurakoji's own fighting and couldn't help but see that she was indeed very skillful almost graceful even. Danny dodged another incoming blow with little to zero effort and knocked hit the guy in the back of the head stunning him, not really moving from his spot much.
The leader being at least a semi-bit more competent than his fellow gang-mates could see that they were very quickly being overpowered, even with their weapons, but not leaving without answers or going down without a fight considers that he may have to get into the fight himself. *Tsk* He nods his head to the side in a signal for the other members.
Danny easily spots the concealed taser of the guy approaching Sakurakoji and intervenes. Knocking the taser out of his hands with a kick following with an elbow to the jaw the gang member goes down. Danny also spots the dog getting closer getting ready to join the fight as well, likely to protect Sakurakoji Danny can't have the dog, named Dog, risking herself, not while he's here.
He's aware as to how most animals, aside from cats and bats, view him especially when he uses his ghostly abilities and is determining whether scaring the dog will cause it to act out and fight faster or flee. He suddenly recalls that he still has that one invisible clone he kind of forgot about, how he forgot when it's giving him input from extra senses is beyond him but he uses it to fly the dog to safety, sadly not quietly dog growls and barks like crazy which in turn distracts a couple mob members and Sakurakoji. He is also subtly aware as to what his clone being near here means but quickly puts it to the back of his mind as he's a bit preoccupied at the moment.
Danny takes on the role of knocking out a few gang members who went after Sakurakoji in her distracted state but in turn gave an opportunity to the leader who had his few remaining men try to dog-pile them and used that distraction to grab Sakurakoji. The attention of all those still conscious was now on Sakurakoji and the leader who had a knife to Sakurakoji's throat. Danny knew that if he fought back against the men now putting him in a lock from which he can't escape (they think) that would put Sakurakoji at risk. So he didn't fight back and was now kneeling on the ground with a knife at his own neck.
Only after being put in his own hostage position did he get that they couldn't harm her if they wanted the information but they could harm him and he just allowed them to take him hostage. 'Stupid. Stupid. Why did I fall for that? I should have known better after all this time. I thought I was more mature and thinking than this.'
"So little lady, do you think your friend's life here is worth the information you've got?"
Danny took not of the surroundings, they really did just down a lot of men, it also looked like that first guy they were beating up ran away, good thing too. Danny could also see that this was a last ditch attempt by the boss as there was only three people still able to move out of the entire gang, including the leader. The rest either too injured or unconscious.
Sakurakoji looks at Danny with worried eyes and regret then replies, "Two nights ago, there were these blue flames. If you looked into the middle of these flames you could see people being burned alive. There was somebody in the middle, but I don't know who."
She really is bad at lying, she has a suspect and a description of who she thinks she saw and it was on her face. The leader and even the remaining mob members who weren't the best at reading people could see.
The leader sighs, "We're taking you back with us, struggle and we'll make sure your friend there gets a one way ticket to the other side. You two bring him along, as well."
Sakurakoji: "What? No! I told you what I know! Let him go!"
The leader just slaps her, "Shut it. I never said we would let him go, just asked if his life was worth the information, and you still haven't told us the truth, so your both coming back with us."
Suddenly another masculine voice enters the clearing and Danny knew about him since his clone had been following him but forgot as he was a bit too preoccupied. How he could forget something so important as a super-powered guy after their lives is beyond him. He really needs to sort his priorities better or try getting a new life, one or the other.
"Actually, none of you will be leaving."
Danny figures the act he's put up is useless at this point and just loudly and sarcastically says, "Looks like mister creepy stalker has finally decided to show his face. By the way Birdy, there's the guy who burned up your other members you might want to run, you can't exactly take him especially in this state."
The now revealed Ogami Rei just responds, "Ah so you did know, you have your own secrets I'm sure you wouldn't want out there Danny. You know there is absolutely no information to find on you, how odd is that?"
The leader guy looked agitated at the name and claim, "So this punk is the one who offed my guys? You think I can't take him? I'll show you and this guy how we take enemies of the G-Eagles."
He nods his head towards the one free mobsters to go after the guy.
Meanwhile Sakurakoji is just confused.
Danny knows that if he doesn't do something that mobster is likely going to die, which he won't allow. Besides it seems Ogami's here to kill them all anyways so no point keeping all his powers secret and he knows just the one to counter Ogami Rei.
Danny: "So Ogami, I take it you were hoping that things would turn out easy for you with us weakening each other so that you could finish us all off?"
Ogami: "Since I'm about to kill you all now I might as well tell you that you are correct in that conclusion. You may act and lie well but I already decided to burn you."
Sakurakoji: "WAIT! So you really were the murderer using those blue flames?! And Danny if you knew why didn't you say anything?!"
Danny: "That'll have to wait Sakurakoji, I've got a mobster to go save from death by blue fire."
The mobster holding down Danny: "You're not getting away from me that easily buddy."
Danny does just that and quickly escapes the hold, Sakurakoji doing the same once she sees that Danny is free by lifting her leg up up in an impressive feat of flexibility and kicks the leader in the head. Danny starts sprinting while simultaneously being covered in a bright blue glow.
Ogami as he walks towards the approaching mobster with his hand outstretched: "An eye, for an eye; a tooth, for a tooth; and evil, for evil."
As Ogami released a torrent of azure flames at the shocked mobster only for said mobster to be even more shocked upon seeing a wall of ice in front of his still living face. He immediately falls unconscious.
When the flames clear it's no longer just the singular mobster with the shocked expression but rather everyone apart from Danny who wore a satisfied then cocky grin. "Come on Ash for Brains you've gotta come up with a better saying than that if you want to get into you opponents heads."
Ogami:"...You have cryokinesis. That suddenly makes some things make more sense and some things make less sense. Are you a Code:Breaker? Well either way I'm going to eliminate the both of you right here, right now."
Danny, while preparing a fighting stance, having his fist and soles glowing a cold darker blue, "Right, no idea what that is but either way I'm going to be the one that kicks your butt."
Danny lowers the temperature in the surrounding vicinity as he makes an ice dome cover all those without super powers, of course separating Sakurakoji and the mobsters.
He makes sure that he's also covered in a thin ice armor that would take heat hotter than lava to melt (AN: he's frozen a dragon's fire breath before, I think he can do this), as he doesn't want to hold back with his ice and take any chances seeing as Ogami can seem to vaporize humans in a few seconds.
Danny dodges the first blast of fire sent his way after he finishes preparing. Glad that he managed to do so in time. He retaliates by sending his own ice blast at Ogami which is dodged as well.
Ogami's P.O.V.
It seems Ogami is taking this seriously as he is attempting to read Danny's combat style. Which confuses him a bit as most fighters would try to plant their feet into the ground but Danny looks like he wants to get off the ground at any moment. It is working to help him dodge his flames though. He also notices Danny seems to have all the ranges covered as he's in a melee fighter's stance yet can reach his ice farther than Ogami can his flames and doesn't seem to be at any disadvantage in medium range.
This will be a tougher fight for Ogami for sure and he's not sure what exactly he'll be reporting when he's finished. He knows not to let down his guard as there are other Code:Breakers which he can't win against. He's hoping this Danny isn't one of them.
If he wins he'll have to report his battle and if he begins losing he'll need to find some way to escape and file a report which may lead to him getting some unwanted backup to deal with him. It doesn't make sense for Danny to have been off the radar for so long, especially if he's this powerful though, even more so if he's this used to fighting.
Not to mention he's still got to deal with that Sakurakoji girl, she knows too much. This was supposed to be a simple "clean up" and yet here he is facing one of his tougher opponents. It doesn't help that his opponent seems to use his opposite, ice, and himself not being able to melt said ice. If concentrated his fire could melt buildings and yet this ice is resisting him, somehow; is it really ice?
Ogami dodges another blast taking notice of the rapidly cooling air. He can't spend his attention on looking at his surroundings too much however. Trying to circle around Danny proved unsuccessful as he was adamant about protecting the people inside his ice domes. Maybe his ice domes are weaker than that ice armor he's wearing? One way to find out.
Ogami moves closer but instead of targeting Danny as he has been he makes to target the ice domes which Danny pulls another ace from his sleeve as he proves capable of forming ice with his feet as well. Which he is now using to launch more ice beams at Ogami, which are getting tough to dodge.
Ogami realizes that Danny hasn't moved as much as he has despite his own dodging and constant blasts. Ogami decides to make a wide spanning flame to get at Danny who seems to have no issue walking through it.
Unknown to Ogami, Danny not wanting to risk the flames just in case had turned himself intangible but left the armor tangible so that it wouldn't look like the flames just went through him. Danny could feel his armor wearing down and refreezes it, he found that the closer he is to Ogami the hotter the flames, which is troublesome but not something he can't work around.
Normal P.O.V.
Danny decides it's time to end this but since he can't capture Ogami in a thermos he'll need to do something else, although he's still not sure what he'll be doing with the guy once he has him beaten. Although he is still keeping his guard up in the case that Ogami still has something up his sleeves like he does. He's had to refresh his ice a few times since the fight began and using these abilities in his human form is becoming extremely taxing. It seems they are both getting exhausted.
Danny stands firmly on the ground his eyes and sclera glowing a bright blue as does the rest of his body, and Ogami notices the change he himself starting to use more flames, both going for a last ditch attempt (at least as far as Ogami knows).
A frozen tundra suddenly encompasses the surrounding area, dodging the already made domes, creating a dome of ice which is rapidly filling itself with ice tougher than steel and almost un-melt-able. The areas surrounding Ogami and Danny are the only places where the ice isn't filling every space available.
Danny's still glowing and Ogami is being quickly pressured. Understanding that he's not going to successfully escape without giving up his true trump card and going all out (AN: I don't know if he's actually got something like this or not but he seems like the type who would later, if not I could just make something up.) he makes the safest bet of his survival and concentrates all his flames to the surroundings near his head so that he'll still be capable of breathing when he's frozen over.
The fight was finally over, with Danny emerging the victor. He called back all his ice except for where Ogami is frozen solid, aside from his head. Danny wouldn't have frozen the guy's head anyways but this worked out in his favor, the reason Danny was rooted to the spot constantly glowing and exerting himself was so that he could concentrate on the areas he wants frozen otherwise he'd end up accidentally freezing the city, like he did when facing Undergrowth for the first time.
Danny walks over to the frozen Ogami and reinforces all the ice leaving only his face free, hope he doesn't end up needing the bathroom, he should've thought about that before trying to kill people. Now when Danny said/thought that using his ice ability was taxing while in his human form he meant more than exhaustion-*Ahcoo*. Danny felt like he had hypothermia, he really really needs a warm-hot bath at the moment.
Danny collapsed on the ground, cold and tired with the grass under him already freezing over form being in contact with him. Sakurakouji now free of the ice dome and a bit freezing herself runs up to the cold Danny and frozen solid Ogami, now she may be a bit naive but even she could tell that Ogami was the enemy here and she trusted Danny enough to have her back in the fight even though she now knew he held his own secrets. In any case she needs to get him somewhere warm, her house, she knows from experience that hospitals are too cold and probably don't have baths. (AN: The way I see it, with how well she knows how to fight she most likely has had a visit or more to the hospital herself.)
She tries to grab Danny to pick him up but get minor frost bite just getting near him so she shouts to the mob leader, "HE NEEDS AS MUCH WARMTH AS HE CAN GET, HE'S FREEZING TO DEATH! I JUST GOT FROSTBITE TRYING TO TOUCH HIM!"
The leader looked stunned for just a moment before scratching the back of his head and just sighing, "I don't know what the #### just happened but even I can tell that boy just saved one of my men's life and probably ours as well, so here." He hands her his jacket and instructs a few of his lackeys to give over their sweaters as well.
"Well we're getting out of here after all that. Man I need a drink, maybe a hot cocoa." The leader and the rest of the gang leave the park as Sakurakoji bundles Danny as best as she could trying to ignore the cold feeling and called forth a taxi from her cell, which knew better than to ask about the suspicious bundle, as long as he got payed it was too late for him to care.
Sakurakoji told the cab driver her address and when she got home payed him and gave him a semi-generous tip.
She walks up to her door props Danny against it and unlocks her door.
Danny falls through the doorway with a thump as she opens the door causing Sakurakoji to grimace.
She picked up Danny and set him on the couch, it's late at night so she's quiet as she goes to get a warm bath ready since she doesn't want to wake up her parents.
Didn't help much since her parents were already awake and waiting, worried and slightly angry expressions. Sakurakoji couldn't get a reception as she was in that ice dome. (AN: I know this isn't actually revealed in the first two episodes so I had to take a peak at the manga to find out about her parents living status, so they're wiki based.)
Meanwhile at a certain park a certain ice block/sculpture is being picked up by some curious "allies" of said frozen figure.

Alright so that's the first chapter. I'll make the interactions with her family and taking care of Danny next chapter, I've got a sort of plan going, maybe. Well I decided to take a different approach to writing this fic, since I can't stop myself from following cannon sometimes I decided to force myself by writing this on the go along with watching the show. This chapter is based on the first episode but I've only watched the first 2 episodes, by the next chapter I'll have watched 3 episodes, possibly 4. In any case, sorry if I got anything wrong and please no spoilers in the reviews.
On another note, if somebody wants to draw fanart for the cover photo I'd gladly accept that.
