They finished up with a folder of suggestions, lists, copies and other things, a free tote bag, and complimentary cookies. Making it back to the mansion, they ran into Kurt, already suited up. "There's something going down at the docks. Hurry and meet us at the van!"

"Two shakes, and we're there," Molly reassured him.

Soon enough, they were at the docks. As it turned out, a group of renegade mutants were trying to steal the contents of a couple rich yachts that were docked there. A tall, rich blonde man in a white suit lay across the deck of one yacht. His thin, blonde wife and teenage daughter sat cowering behind him in matching navy dresses, both being watched by a man who looked more like an alien. His nose was just a short snout, framed by a large, bald head, and he had enough pointy teeth to intimidate a shark, while his choice of clothing was being dressed head to toe in black leather, no sleeves.

The rest of the mutants had similar appearances, all leather clad. The green fly face, tall blue skinned guy with short black hair, the girl with the pink mohawk and fins on her face, and the seven-foot tall gray man with white eyes. Creature was surprised. She always thought Kurt was the only one with an obvious, furry mutation.

Everyone picked a target and squared off. Creature chose the Fish Girl, who, naturally, dove into the water. Fish Girl stuck her tongue out at Creature, seeming like she couldn't be followed. "You don't know me very well," Creature smirked. Creature chose her dolphin morph. She wasn't looking to maim the girl like a shark would, only disable her. Creature morphed a little, then dove into water, quickly completing the morph. The other girl looked flabbergastd a bit, her fins going to and fro.

"You're not so tough," The girl said underwater. Creature barreled towards the other mutant head on, head bumping into her gut, then smacking her aside with a fin. All the while though, the water seemed to be getting warmer quickly. Creature didn't think much of it, grabbing the girls arm and shaking her vigorously, until Creature started feeling woozy and much too hot. Creature shook her head, blinking her dolphin eyes a few times, trying to maintain.

The girl laughed. "That's one of my powers. It might not be that useful, but against you it's perfect. Boil alive, sucker!"

Molly had to think fast. Surely, the girl couldn't heat up the whole ocean. Creature swam out, deciding to make a wide arch. It would look like she was giving up, but Creature had other plans. She came up behind Fish Girl, coming at her at least sixty MPH. Creature sent her flying into the underside of one of the yachts, knocking the girl out cold. Diving quickly, Creature caught her by the wrist, hauling her back to the shore, leaving her against a few rocks and pebbles with the waves lapping the shoreline. Creature changed back to join the team on the dock, but things weren't looking good. Marvel Girl, Rogue and Nightcrawler were laying there unconscious. Only Shadowcat, Cyclops and Gambit remained standing.

The giant gray guy caught sight of Creature, and suddenly she found herself covered by sand, flown against the side of one of the yachts, stuck there like she'd been glued to it. Gambit was closest to her, so he ran over, but the sand flew up and surrounded him as well, landing him frontwards on the decadent white boat. Suddenly, Creature noticed that the sand was turning into metal, but worse, she could feel it on her face. They were going to be suffocated! Creature tried to morph something small enough to get out, but the panic was setting in as more sand covered her face. She wasn't going to die, she couldn't...but...no air...

Without warning, the metal flew off of Creature and Gambit. She felt herself falling, but only a moment and someone caught her by the wrist she looked up to see Darkness had caught her.
"Darkness?! Wha-?!"

"Give me your other hand. Nngh! You're not light!" He strained. Creature obeyed, and he dropped her off back at the docks. Creature looked up to see Magneto floating in the air, his Acolytes were on the dock making short work of the renegades. Grey guy had been trapped onto the dock with the same metal that had been trapping Creature moments ago. Creature stood there and watched as Rock slide brought Gambit back to the deck, while Glow faced off against the guard on one yacht, the one with the snout. She had him subdued in a telekinetic pink, glittery glow, shaking him around like he was a gin and tonic in a mixing can. Meanwhile, Ratchet and Darkness tagged teamed the bug guy, with Darkness dropping him into a pitch black Vortex had created. Creature gasped. Had they killed him?!

"Oh relax, short stuff," Rachet sneered, "He's in a jail cell. No harm, no foul."

"I should hope so!" Creature snapped back. Creature caught her breath, while watching Cyclops and Magneto handle the big blue skinned man together, with Cyke blasting him skywards and Magneto wrapping him up in some metal pipes that had been on a nearby freighter. Creature went over to Gambit, who was on his feet again, wringing the water out of the end of his trench coat.

"You breathing again? Didn't mess you up too bad?" Creature questioned.

"No. I'm fine. Just never thought I'd see the day Magneto and his team were working with us, and not against us," Gambit looked over.

"I think we're all a little surprised," Creature watched as the Acolytes helped the more exhausted X-Men to their feet. The couple rejoined their team as the two teams stood together on the dock, with Cyclops facing Magneto.

"You'll forgive our intrusion, but Charles was monitoring your fight, as you'd never gone against these outlaws before," Magneto explained, "As the other children were at school, he asked us for our assistance. I hope it wasn't an imposition."

"You saved our lives," Gambit smiled, grateful, "No imposing, it was sorely appreciated. Thanks is much obliged, sir."

"Remy's right," Creature said, "Maybe having you and the team around isn't the worst thing. Thanks for the save."

Magneto looked relieved and his team shared a look of satisfaction.
"It felt kind of good to do the right thing for once," Glow said.

"Nah," Darkness said, "It felt kind of good to save the X-Men's butts and prove we're better than them."

"There will be no competition among us, Darkness," Magneto glared at his subordinate, "We were asked to assist in a dire situation. Now, let's go home. Charles and a few of us have plans to go to the opera this evening."

Molly made her way to the car, sitting cozily next to Remy. They clasped hands.
"Maybe the Professor was right," Molly said, "This could be beneficial for everyone."

"We'll see, Cherie," Remy said.

With most of the teachers away at the opera for the night, while the majority of the X-Men made their own plans. That only left Scott, Molly and Remy in charge of a bunch of rowdy teenagers (and the Acolytes) for the evening.

Unfortunately, things were bound to go awry the minute Bobby and some others had locked Scott in one of the broom closets. Down in the foyer, many of the kids were acting as if spring break had started in the end of September. Loud music was playing on the speaker, kids were laughing, dancing, and several were bringing out plates of egg rolls, pizza and the like. Not to mention some had bought cans upon cans of silly string, so the room was aptly decorated in the stuff. Upstairs was a bit worse, with several couples making-out in one another's rooms. Remy and Molly walked in to the scene downstairs after changing out of their uniforms, as Scott had assured him he had things under control. Remy made a leap off the staircase and yanked the cord to the boom box out of the wall. The room went silent, then Molly turned into a roaring tiger to really get the kids attention. Molly dropped down next to Remy. Silly string flew and landed on Molly's head. She changed back looking rightfully peeved.

"What the heck is all this and WHERE is Scott?" Remy demanded.

"In the broom closet," Bobby looked sheepish, "I majorly iced up the door, so it'd take him hours to get out."

"Hey!" Darkness called from the top of the staircase, "You guys didn't check the upstairs. Found these bunch of losers swapping spit. Are you babysitters or not, because this is terrible."

Molly looked up to see several students under Glow's hold.

"We were changing," Molly said, "And somehow, in the span of like fifteen minutes, everyone decided it would be a great idea to...to have a house party!" Molly tried to use her training from earlier not to blow up at the kids, like she normally did.

"Don't worry, we've got your back," Glow smiled, nodding to the kitchen door where Ratchet was standing. Molly noticed Rock slide at the front entrance. There was no way out of the room unless the kids wanted to sneak out of one of the windows. Even little bliss took to blocking the right hallway, looking stalwart and proud of herself, arms crossed, glaring, daring anyone to get by her.

"Uh, thanks guys," Remy said, "Now, everyone upstairs to your own rooms. The professor will discuss punishment with you when he gets back."

"Really? Who said we have to listen to you?" A massive new kid, two heads taller than Remy, glared with his blue hair and huge body, "Kylee, plug the stereo back in. Jamie, get me some more pizza rolls, extra sauce!"

In seconds, the party was back on like Remy and Molly had never stopped it. Molly continued to find herself covered in silly string by several students who couldn't care less, and apparently wanted to find out what dying was like. (Or at least a good slap.) Molly was getting angrier by the second. Remy noticed, because she was suddenly as tall as he with leathery skin and a tail.

"N-now, Petite, remember your training. What Logan taught you," Remy held up his hands, stepping back a little, lest Molly lose complete control.

"I...can't," Molly growled gutterly "They're being...such a bunch of...ingrates!" She got a little taller and her feet were growing into massive t-rex feet.

"Yes you can," Ray appeared beside her, "Remember what Logan said, be aware of what's around you. If you can't do that, at least focus on my voice, Molly. You're not going to lose control again. I believe in you. You're not weak. You're stronger than how you feel."

Molly listened to Ray's words and what was going on around her. She found her inner focus and slowly started shrinking, changing back to normal. In seconds, she was human again. Covered in silly string, but she hadn't lost control and wrecked the mansion or gotten anyone hurt in the process.

However, despite her overcoming her emotions...

The teachers stood in the doorway, faces aghast and in shock of the party going on.

Molly swallowed. "... Help us please?" She said in a whisper.

"WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON HERE?!" Charles bellowed, angrier than Molly had ever seen him.

The music stopped on a dime and all the kids scattered back up to their rooms. Daddy Xavier was home, and he was _not_ happy.
