Big Hero 6: The Art Theives
Chapter 33: Fever Fuzzy Felling
I was holding onto both Honey Lemon and Hiro as we were walking back to the café from the docks. "Sakura, are you feeling okay? You look pale and you're shivering."
I smile at Honey Lemon as I reply, "I am fine. It's just getting colder and colder since the sun went. I forgot my jacket and these clothes aren't warm enough."
A few streets before the café, everyone said goodbye and went of home. Hiro and I stood there for a few moments longer before he looked over at me, "I am so glad that your back and your okay. Will you please make up Tadashi?" trying to convince me with he best brown puppy dog eyes and a pout.
I shake my head at him, crossing my arms, "It was his fault. He has to apologise first and prove he is sorry. Then I might forgive him. But not before." Hiro sighs in response, I turn and walk away. I was going home.
I walk up to my bathroom, and turn the shower on to as hot as I could handle, I had been stuck in a freezer for I don't even know long. I started speaking to myself, "I hope I don't have classes tomorrow, I want a day at home after everything that's happened." I stand under the hot water as long as I could before getting out and putting on my warmest pair of pyjamas. I climb into bed and brush my hair before laying down and going to sleep.
Back at the café, Hiro walks up to his beds and plops down onto it, Tadashi looks over from his own bed, "What happened to you?"
Hiro looks over and he said, "I was helping Fred run some tests on his mascot suit to make it spit fire and fly." Hiro finishes as he rolls over onto back and puts his arms over his eyes.
Tadashi shrugs as he goes back to his book, "Don't forget that summer break starts tomorrow, we will need to bring Baymax home for the summer."
Hiro nods, "So, are you going to talk to Sakura anytime soon?"
Tadashi looks over to his brother, "Maybe. I don't know. She could hate me for all I know." Tadashi goes back to his before adding, "I bet that she is still angry at me, so I don't think so."
As the sun comes up, I curl under the covers and look over at my clock. I jump out of bed, slip on my slippers and my dressing gown and run downstairs, I ran out of the house in my pyjamas and rose slippers.
I get to school and try to open the doors, but its locked, "Come one, come on. Open up, I am going to be late for class." As I stand outside, still in my pyjamas and slippers, yelling at the door. Trying to pull them open.
I notice that there is a note on the door and move further over to read it, 'Out for summer break.' Great, I groan, why didn't they send anything, a text or email, what is wrong with people? I start heading in the direction of home before remembering that I have to work at the café today. I walk in the front door of home, Kiba coming to greet me. I gave him a pat before walking upstairs and getting dressed. I start to get dizzy and clutch at my head, "My head feels like a fuzzy cotton wool ball."
I sit for a few minutes before getting up and heading to the café. I walk in the door and smile at Aunt Cass, "Ohayo Cass-San." Aunt Cass looks up at me and smiles. I go and out on an apron and get to work cleaning and clearing tables. After a while, I shiver and try to hide a sneeze. I thought I had been caught when Aunt Cass comes over too me, "Sakura, can you please fill the salt and sugar shakers?"
I nod, "Tashika Cass-San." As she goes back to the counter, I start to fill up the shakers. My head is so fuzzy, I mix them up and don't even realise until Hiro walks in, "Hey Sakura, you do know that you have mixed them up, don't you?"
I look down at what I am doing, "They look the exact same." Hiro laughs as I push everything out of my way and lay my head on my arms, "Great, now I have to do it all over again."
Hiro just laughs at me again, "You made sugar-salt and salt-sugar." I moan and pour it all out, getting ready to start again.
I fix the shakers, and put all to rights, "There, it's perfect now." I was finishing putting them in the correct groups when Aunt Cass came over and sat down with us. "Sakura, are you okay? You look pale and look like you're running a fever."
I shake my head, arguing with myself, "I… I feel a little sick. But I can still work my shift, please let me finish it, onegaishimasu?" Aunt Cass put a hand to my forehead as I close my eyes and lean into her cool touch, trying to ignore my fever.
Aunt Cass smiles and pats my head. "Okay, but after your shift, go home and get some rest."
I nod and continue with my shift, once it was finished I hang up my apron and walk home. I go into the bathroom and look in the mirror, "I look awful." I head down to dinner and as soon as its over I head straight to bed and fall asleep.
The boys come home and Tadashi looks around, "Did Sakura work today?"
Aunt Cass looks up, "You just missed her, she just went home."
Tadashi frowns, "Thanks Aunt Cass."
"She will forgive you, you just need to give her time."
"Thanks Aunt Cass, I hope your right." Tadashi smiles as he heads up stairs to bed.
