Chapter 37: A Clean Solo

The sun comes up and lights up my room as I roll over and I let out a moan. "Just a few more minutes." Kiba looks up at me and licks my hand, "Okay, you win, this time." He barks and wags his tail while I stretch and get out of bed. I walk down the stairs into the kitchen, "Morning mum, what's for breakfast?"

My mom looks at me, "I am making scrambled eggs, do you think you could eat it with your cold?"

I nod as I say, "Yeah, I am feeling better. The coughing still hurts but I do feel better."

Dad walk in at that, "It's good to see you're feeling better, but be careful you don't overdo it and end up sick again." I nod in reply as I eat my breakfast.

Over at the café, the boys wake up, Tadashi yawning before he turns to Hiro, "Don't forget we have to pick our late summer classes, and we have to upgrade Baymax." He finishes with a cough.

Hiro tries to hide a smile, "Whatever you say bro, and I bet that Sakura would like to see you as well."

Tadashi hides a blush as he says, "Just get ready for the day."

Hiro laughs as he gets ready, "I hope Sakura is feeling better today, I wonder if she is up yet."

I clean my plate and putting it on the drying rack before walking over and siting on the couch, turning on the tv and putting Cardcaptors on. I watch it for a while before Kiba comes up to me with his bird toy and put it on my lap, "Oh, you want me to toss it do you?" He barks as I toss the toy for him. He runs to grab it and bring it back to me, I giggle as I throw it again.

Tadashi gets dressed in a pair of dark blue jeans and a gold shirt, before walking down stairs to the café. "Morning Aunt Cass, did you want help with something?"

Aunt Cass looks up with a smile, "Morning, not right now, but I will let you know." Tadashi nods in reply and heads to the back of the café, a cough halting him for a moment, before going and doing inventory for what the café needed.

Back at home, I finish mt movie and mum looks over at me, "Maybe a shower and getting ready for the day will make you feel better."

I nod as I get up and walk up to my bathroom and turn the water on, picking out my clothes as it heats up.

Tadashi finishes the inventory and walks up to Aunt Cass, "I am going to go and see Sakura and see how she is feeling, is that okay?" he finishes as he puts the clipboard on the counter. Aunt Cass nods as he puts on his hat and walks out the door, calling goodbye over his shoulder.

I pick up my phone and plug it into the speakers, "I think music is in order." I step in the shower and close the door, starting to sing and dance to the song.

While I'm in the shower, there was a knock on the front door, my mum answers it, "Hey Tadashi, you here to see Sakura?" He nods his head and my mum smiles and lets him in, letting him walk up the stairs to wait in my room while she goes back to making lunch.

He walks up the stairs and sits on my bed, looking around my room as he listening to my sing;

I turn off the water and step out of the shower, picking up the towel to dry off. I open the door to let out the steam and grab my robe, I pull it on and look up into the mirror, letting out a shriek when I saw Tadashi, "Tadashi! What are you doing here? When did you get here?"

Tadashi looks over at me, "A little while ago, and Hiro was right; you are a good singer." I cover my face with my hands, trying to hide my blush.

I blush as I grad my clothes and go into the bathroom to get dressed. I walk out brushing my hair and Tadashi looks over at me, "So, are you feeling better?"

I nod as I sit down, "Yeah, a little bit but not completely there yet.

Tadashi look the brush out of my hand, "Let me brush it for you. I brush Mochis fur all the time, it's relaxing."

I blush as I sit on the edge of the bed, my back facing him. He starts to brush my hair, "Your hair smells good, what kind of shampoo do you use?"

I turn vermilion red as I say, "It's honeysuckle and rose."

He runs his hand through my hair, "It's really soft." I just nod my head in reply. "I can't wait for you to see Baymax, I am going to update him again soon."

I smile as I say, "Maybe a portable one, so that he is always on hand."

Tadashi nods, "Yeah and then I can give you one."

My face turns a bright shade of red, "That's so nice of you." I look down and play with my robe tie for a moment before I look up at him. We sit and chat for a while, and before we knew it, it was dinner time and Tadashi left to go back to the café.

Hiro looks up at him as he enters the café, "You look like a love sick puppy."

Tadashi pats his head, "You will know about it when you're older."

Hiro just shakes his head, "Bro, you are in too deep."

Tadashi gets into bed, "I wonder if she will sing again, I hope she does, it was really cute." He sneezed and coughed as they ate dinner and got ready for bed.
