Chapter 46: Movie-Makeup and Costume Changes

The movie set was huge. We walked in and I was overcome by all that was going on and that we could see; the teams running around with makeup, lighting equipment, costumes and other things. I couldn't believe the number of stars and dressing rooms.

We head to the costume department and I can't help but looking around in wonder, speaking to Yukito at the same time, "I can't believe this. The amount if costumes in here is just so overwhelming, like wow. And they are all so pretty as well."

Yukito smiles at me, "If you want, you can use the costumes, but you have to return them." I nod my head as we head over to the make-up department. I couldn't help but blush when they started to pull out the make-up after looking up and down at me. "This is great but let's go get lunch first. Then we can come back."

They all nod their heads and we head out, looking for a place for lunch. Yukito looks at me and smiles, "So, is that the guy you have a crush on? I hope you guys behave and act properly."

I send him a glare as I cross my arms, "Well, he only likes me as a friend, so there is nothing going on, that's for sure." He wraps an arm around my shoulder, giving my back a small pat as I give him a sad small half smile and we head into the café.

We order our drinks before going and sitting down. Once we were settled, the drinks were served and Fred asked, "When are we going to be in a film? I can't wait to smash stuff and breath fire." I couldn't help but giggle at him. As the food was being served, I look over at Tadashi and notice the dazed look on his face, "Tadashi, you're looking a little day-dreamy, are you okay?"

He just nods at me, "Yeah, I am fine, just thinking."

Hiro just rolls his eyes as he says, "So, where will they air the movie?"

Yukito looks up from his food, swallowing before replying, "Oh, at the festival, but not until the last day, after the concert as well." I nod as I pick up my glass to take a drink, at the same time Fred gets excited when hearing the location and waves his arms around a bit, knocking my shoulder and making my drink go all over my face. Fred stop and turns to look at me, his eyes going wide, "I am so sorry Sakura," He looks at me with puppy dog eyes and a small frown, "I just got excited about the movie and got a little wild, can you forgive me?" and got a little wild can you forgive me." He looks at me with a pleading look and a sorry puppy dog look.

He gives me a pleading look as I wipe my face with a napkin, "Yes, I can forgive you. It just means I'm a little sticky and I guess the drinks are on me." I say with a straight face.

Everyone starts laughing at me, Tadashi suddenly stopping, due to the coughing fit that overtook him. After a few moments we all calm down and finish our dinner before heading back to the studio. One our way back, Yukito puts his arm around me with a small smile, "When we get back to the studio you can have a shower. You can borrow one of our costumes while we wash your clothes. And if you want, the makeup department can help you out as well."

I smile in thanks; a shower would be great; I could still feel the stickiness of my drink over my face. Once we get back, I head straight into the showers, Yukito explaining that the costumes will be there for me to choose from when I get out.

I quickly climb into the shower, putting my dirty clothes in the laundry basket, I tie my hair up, knowing it doesn't need a wash and put a shower cap on. I couldn't be bothered blow drying it after. I quickly scrub the sticky residue off my face before climbing out and wrapping myself in a robe. 'I wonder what lines we will have to learn.' I think to myself as I dry off and wait for the people with the costumes to come up.

Just as I finish, the costumes come in, three racks of costumes in fact. I say thank you the those who brought them in as they walked out and closed the door behind them. I look over the racks of costumes before settling on a pastel blue dress with pink lotus' and green lotus leaves printed on it, the yellow hem separated by a red line. Over the top I put a long-sleeved yellow coat that cuts off cuts off mid torso, its openings lined with red, the sleeves were decorated with lotus' as well. I finish the look with a pair of pale blue pants and pastel blue shoes that have a pink base and red straps. Accessories are a pink lotus flower hair clip.

I head up to the makeup room and they sit me down in a chair, someone working on my hair and someone sitting down in front of me doing my makeup. Once they are finished, I thank them for their help and walk out to meet the others.

"Hey guys, what do you think?" I ask them. Tadashi turns and looks at me, he blushes red and his mouth goes wide, but he doesn't make a noise. "I don't look that good, do I?"

Hiro looks at me grinning, "That costume really suits you. You do look really good."

I can't help blushing at that, "Thank you. But I don't think I do."

"You do look really nice." Tadashi says, blushing an even deeper red.

I smile at him, trying to hide my face as I felt it getting more and more red, "Let's run some lines and then go home for dinner." We all sit down and read over the lines. After a few minutes, Fred noticed the mini model of he city and starts jumping up and down again, he moves the wrong way and knocks one of the water cannons, making it go off all over me again.

"Seriously?" I say looking at him incredulously, "First the soft drink. Now this. My third shower of the day. Now I must get changed, again."

Fred just looks at me sheepishly while he rubs the back of his neck, "Sorry."

I just laugh it off and head back to pick out something else, apologising to the costume people for making more of a mess for them. I pull out a pair of beige pants, a white button-up top and a creamy yellow jacket. I swap the slip-on shoes for a pair of lace up boots that match it as well. I walk out to the group saying, "I could live here. There are so many good costumes."

The Director comes up to us, "Okay, that was a great run through, I would love for you to come back and do some more lines tomorrow." We all say thank you and goodnight before heading out to the train station. "I had fun today. It was fun trying on the costumes." Tadashi lets out a yawn as we sit down onto the train, "Are you okay? You look really pale."

Tadashi lets out another yawn, "Yeah, just the time differences are getting to me. I am ready for bed." I giggle a little and try to hide another blush. We talk about the day and joke for a little while before noticing that Tadashi had fallen asleep. I pull out my phone and take a quick picture, which seems to wake him up, "Do you feel a bit better?" I ask him as he yawns and sits up straighter.

He just nods as we get to our stop. I hug Yukito as he says, "I will see you all tomorrow." We walk back to my grandparents say hello to them before going up and getting ready for bed. I pulled on a pair of blue with white strips pyjamas. I crawl into bed and turn the light off, falling asleep almost instantly.

Tadashi yawns as he climbs into bed. "Today was a fun day. And Sakura looked really good in those outfits."

Hiro hides his smile as he says, "Shut up and go to sleep you, love-sick puppy." Tadashi let's out a small chuckle before rolling over and going to sleep. Hiro just shakes his head at his brother and turns out the light, collapsing into bed and falling asleep not long after.
