Big Hero 6: The Art Thieves
Chapter 50: Midnight Music Mission
I climb out of bed, yawning, as the sun comes up and shines through my window. I go and brush my teeth while thinking to myself, 'I really hope that we can find the mystery singer tonight. I can't believe the festival is in jeopardy. I can't let it not happen; we must find her. Getting past Aunt Cass and my grandparents tonight will be easy, Tadashi is going to be a problem though.'
I walk back into my room and pull off my pyjamas, opening the closet to find clothes for the day. Kiba walks over and sits next to me, I pat the top of his head, "Alright Kiba, let's see what clothes I am in the mood for today." He lets out a yawn and a bark. I huff out a giggle and start going through my clothes.
I pull out a white, thigh-length dress with a sailor collar that has black lining and a bright emerald bow to complete the look. Finishing it with a sunhat that has a dark ribbon. I brush my hair before going down to breakfast. I walk in and my grandmother looks up at me, "Good morning. Breakfast is almost ready; would you please set the table and pour the juice?" I nodded and picked up the carton of juice, walking to the table and started pouring. The news came back on and I heard more about the thoughts of cancelling the festival. I bit my lip and mumbled too myself, "We have to do it tonight."
Everyone else wakes up and walks into the dinning room, Fred walking up to me, "So, are you ready for tonight? Its going to be awesome and so much fun. I can't wait. And with you help Sak…muph." My eyes go wide and quickly put my hand over his mouth and pull him from the room, making the gang look at me funny. "He is cray, no idea what he is talking about. Give us a second." I get him in another room just as he licks my hand I squeak and yank it back.
"Flower girl, that was uncalled for. Why did you do that?"
I look at the hand with the slobber on it and shudder before leaning over and wiping it back onto him. "Did you want them to know about Big Hero Six?" he shook his head quickly with wide eyes, "I didn't think so."
"Oh, you are so right." He says, looking at me with puppy dog eyes.
I shake my head, "He is a mystery wrapped up in his own world, or the Pokémon slowpoke. Receiving information, one part at a time." I then turn and walk into the bathroom, washing my hand with copious amounts of soap.
Once all the rest of them turned up, we sat down to eat breakfast, chatting as we talk, "So, Sakura, do you think the festival will continue even if they do find her?"
I nod as I keep eating. "They should." Once we are finished, we all start to pack up the dishes and clean up. Hiro walks over to me and pulls me aside, "Are we still on for tonight Sakura? Around midnight, yeah?"
I give a quick nod before I turn and start washing the dishes. Tadashi walks up to me, "You know, it's so nice out. And I feel good. Did you want to walk around for a bit? Maybe get an ice-cream?" I smile and nod, trying to hide the blush that was creeping onto my face. I finish the dishes before going and getting my purse. We walk past the festival, "Looks like they are finished setting up." I say.
Tadashi lets out a small cough, "Looks like it."
I glance over at him, "Are you sure that you are okay? You still seem a little ill." He just waves it off as we pass by a stand holding different jewellery items. I look over it before seeing a clip that caught my eye; it was a gold and green wing hair clip that had hot pink stars and a blue crystal star charm. I pick it up and hold it, not realising just how loud I said, "It's so pretty, I love it." The sun hits it at the right angle, making little rainbows appear on the table.
Tadashi takes it gently from my hand, "I will get it for you. It can be your good luck charm."
I couldn't help but blush, "You don't have too, but I would love that." He paid for it and I placed it in my bag, making sure it was secure I looked back at him, "Thank you, you really didn't have to though."'
Tadashi smiles at me, "Well, I know you have been worried ever since the festival came up, so I thought it would be a nice good luck charm for it, for when you are up on stage."
I smile and nod as we head over the ice-cream shop. Tadashi looks over at the window with the posters to see the one for the movie, "Is that the costume they put on you?"
I look over at the poster before replying, "Yep, that was right before the cable broke." I shuddered as I finished, remembering almost falling to my death, luckily being caught before I hit the ground.
We finish up and start towards the house, Tadashi turns to me. "So, do you know how is going to be your competition on stage yet?"
I shake my head, "Nope, I don't know anything yet. I do find it strange that they haven't released any details yet though. Kind of fishy." We get home and walk inside, grandma looks up at us from her tea and cookies, "How was the date you two?"
We both turn a light pink as I respond, "It was not a date. Just hanging out and enjoying the weather." My grandpa just laughs at me. I roll my eyes and take my bag up to my room, meanwhile grandpa turns to Tadashi, "The flower that blooms in adversity is the rarest and most beautiful of all."
Tadashi looks at him open mouthed for a minute, "But, I didn't even say anything about Sakura."
My grandpa just laughs at him, "You don't meet a girl like that every dynasty."
Tadashi just nods as I come back into the room at the same time as Hiro, "So, bro, how was the date today?"
Tadashi groans, "It was not a date. We just hung out for the day."
Once night falls, we all eat dinner together before we start cleaning up. I was doing the dishes when Hiro came up to me, just like Tadashi did earlier, "Sis, how am I meant to get past Tadashi? He doesn't go to bed till late and he doesn't look tired at all."
I dried my hands as I turn to look at him, "But he is still sick. I could try and get him to go to bed earlier. But you would have to stay quiet until you are sure that he is asleep."
Hiro nods his head, "Yeah, alright. I can be quiet." We all hang out for a while, talking and laughing, when I look over and see Tadashi yawning, "You look like your about to fall over."
I nods at me, "Yeah, I think I am going to head up to bed."
I giggle as I run my hand over his head, "Alright, I'll see you in the morning."
We all head up to our respective rooms, waiting for midnight to come around. While waiting I got changed, ready for the mission. I put on a long-sleeved crop top with blue diamonds lining along the hem, as well as a pair of black bat wings extending from behind of the top. Worn with the top is a set matching high shorts of viridian colour as well as a pair of viridian coloured thigh high boots and figureless gloves.
As I walked out of my room, Hiro walks up from behind me, "We are already to go sis."
I had to put my hand over my mouth to stop my self from yelling out loud, "Don't scare me like that, you could have given me a heart attack."
He just grinned at me, "Come on, let's go save the mystery singer."
We walk out the front door and head to the Tokyo tower, we look around before I say, "Where is Yin? He should be here by now." Like magic, as soon as I said his name, he came around the corner. "Hey Sakura." I walk up to him and give him a hug.
"Okay, now that you are here, let's get to the top of the tower." I say, looking at Yin, "But the door is locked, how are we going to get in there?"
Yin just smiles at me, "Leave it to me. Remember, I was an ex art-thief." I nod as he unlocks the door and we step inside.
I tun to look at Baymax, "Can you sense her body heat?"
Baymax nods, "There is a person on the fifth floor."
I nod as I say, "We can take the elevator up?"
Wasabi shakes his head, "I am not going up here, it is too high. Too scary."
I patted his hands, "Then you should be our lookout. If anything happens, call and let us know."
He nodded at me, "That sounds like a much better plan."
Hiro looks at us, "Alright. Let's go save the singer and the festival."
I nod back, "Operation midnight music is a go." We all head to the elevator, getting ready to face what was coming next.
