Chapter 51: Music of the Night
We all get through the door and start to climb the stairs to the top, trying to be as quiet as we can. I turn my head over my shoulder and whisper down to the others, "I can't help but wonder who it is that we are going to save and who kidnapped them. I hope they are okay though."
Fred looks up at me, "You never know, it could be a mystery, like in the cartoons and they wear a mask and cape."
I had to stifle a laugh as I replied, "Well, yes it could be. But we won't know till we get up there. I wish there was a faster way then having to climb all these stairs. Like flying, flying would be a good superpower to have right now."
Baymax blinks up at us, "My suit has wings, I can fly you up there."
We all stopped and stare at him opened mouthed, "Why didn't you say this before?" I ask incredulously, fighting to keep my voice down.
"You didn't ask or say anything about flying before." I couldn't help it; I slapped my forehead.
"Baymax is a personal health care professional, would you like me to look at your self-inflicted injury?"
I sighed in response, "No, thank you Baymax, but we would like it if you could fly us up there."
"Of course." Baymax said, pushing a button on his chest that let out his wings. I climb up and sit on his shoulders, Hiro walks over and climbs on Baymaxs' back. The others gather in a circle and Baymax picks them all up just as Fred starts to sing, "Six intrepid friends,
led by Fred,
their leader,
Freeeeeeeeed!
Fred's angles,
mm-mm-mm!
Harnessing the power of the sun with the ancient amulet they found in the attic
mmm-mm-mm
The amulet is green

It's probably an emerald."
I can't help but laugh at his antics, neither can the others. I just hope we couldn't be heard by whomever was holding the mystery singer up above us. We got to top in under 2 minutes, why didn't we fly the entire way instead of walking one third of it? Oh, wait, my fault, I didn't ask.
Once we all climb down off Baymax, I look at them all, "There are so many different rooms to look through. It's like a maze."
Hiro looks at me, "Let's split up. We will meet back here if someone finds something. And everyone, remember to be quiet."
We all nod and split up, slowly and carefully going through each room, after a few minutes, I let out a sigh, "This is awful, there is no one in here other than us." I walk a little further down the hall when I can hear singing, I turn back to the others, "Oi! There is someone singing down here." I walk a little further down, slowly to let the others catch up, "I know that song, but I can't identify the voice." I run up and slam the door open.
Hiro runs up behind me and we rush into the room together and see a woman tied up in a chair. I walk up to the chair as quickly as I could while keeping an eye out for anyone else in the room. I drop down on one knee and start to untie the ropes, "Don't worry, we will get you out of these ropes."
Just as I start to get them undone, I hear a sinister laugh, coming from the shadows, "Well, well, well. Looks like you couldn't outsmart me this time. You fell straight into my trap."
The rope came untied, and the lady gets up and runs out of the room, we let her go and turn to the other voice in the room, "We put you away for life. How did you get out of jail?"
She laughs as she replies, "You sweet, stupid little girl. Did you forget that I have higher up that owe me? Not just my brother. Last time, you won. But this time, I have you cornered now." I take a step and can't help the wince that escaped when I put my weight on my ankle; it still wasn't completely healed. She advances further towards me, "So, what's it going to be? I can finish you off now, or are you going to fight me?"
I laugh at her, "Like I am going to fight you? You are going back to jail. And I am not alone, my friends will be here any second."
She growls at me, "Your bluffing. They aren't here, no way are they here, I'm calling your bluff." And then, I can't believe it, she started to say, "You've always had a friend or two,

I glare at her as I respond," Just because I'm by myself does not mean I will fold. I don't need help to battle you I just need to be bold."
She laughs at me, "Spare me your little heroic speech."
"We both know that you are wrong." I glare at her "I am not afraid to be standing alone."
She backs me up to the window, "My dear, you won't be standing long,
You're on your own, can't run away,

You've met your match this very day." As I look at her and duck out of the way , I end up on the other side of the tables, "I am on my own and but I won't give in and she said," My dear, you won't be standing long

She laughs at me, "The good in you is fading fast,
And when it's gone, you'll be mine at last."
I try to swing a punch at her as I say, "But like the sun, I'll rise once more." The others rush in and I hear Honey Lemon say, "She is in trouble, we have to help her." Hiro nods and looks around for something that will help.
I jump back as she comes back at me, "Until night falls and wins the war."
I look over and notice the gang. I couldn't help but smile as I say, "There is a bond you'll never know.
A power you can't feel
The love you give comes back to you
And makes you strong as steel
If I remember those I love

And chase away the dark." She rushes me and tries to punch me again. As the others watch the fight Fred runs back into the room, "Will an extension cord work?"
Hiro nods and they gather around to make a trip wire that leads to a chair, I can see what they are doing out of the corner of my eye and I say, "My darkness cannot be denied.
Your little light won't last
I'll show you where real power lies,
One final wicked blast." I glare at her as I try to knock her down, "You tried your worst to keep me down
But I'm still standing tall."
She starts to pant, "How can this be happening?"
I laugh as I walk up to her and push her into the chair, "Because I stand for one and all. And all on my own, I found the light."
She trips over the cord and falls back calling out, "This can't be happening. You are just a girl."
I laugh at her, "I am more than that,
But you can't see,
I may be small and on my own,
But I can feel how much I have grown,
My will is strong, and my heart is true,

As I push her down and the others tie her down, I say, "You will never have what I have; friends and loved ones. So, if I ever see you again, we will attack you with everything we have, and this time? We won't hold back."
Hiro nods, "So, what should we do with her? I mean she is tied up. We can call the cops."
I smile down at her, "Let's keep her like this. We can call the cops as we head out." The gang nods as we head down as she screams out, "You won't get away with this. I have higher up's on call. I will make you pay when I get out of here."
Her brother walks up and ties a gag around her mouth, "Save it."
We head out and the lady that we untied was waiting outside the door, "Are you okay? You're not hurt, are you?"
She shakes her head, "No, I am fine. Thank you for saving us."
We walk outside and she hugs us and heads back to her hotel. Go-go looks up at the sky, "Hate to break up this love fest, but it is almost morning and we need to get back, now. Or the others will be wondering where we ran off too."
I yelp, "We had better get back!"
We walk to the corner and say goodbye to Yin. We hurry home and quietly make our way inside, "Phew!" I whisper, "We just made it!" We all head into our room. I get changed and flop onto my bed, falling asleep just as the sky lights up with a golden orange light.
