Big Hero 6: The Art Thieves
Chapter 52: EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA!
I smile as I wake up, the sun on my face and the events of last night in my head. 'I am so grateful to be part of the Big Hero 6 team. Otherwise the festival would have been cancelled and we wouldn't have been able to do what we did last night.'
I stretched out before climbing out of bed and putting on my robe. I walked over to my wardrobe to look for something to wear. I flick through my clothes and finally settle on cream-beige dress with slightly puffy sleeves and a skirt that went down to my shins with a white petty coat beneath the skirt. A pair of white socks with scallop bordering and a pair of brown slippers with a hazelnut bow is worn with the ensemble. Accessories include a matching cream-beige sun hat with a chocolate ribbon. I finish brushing my hair before walking to the living room.
I stand there staring at the TV watching the new report the events of last night for a few seconds before the shock wears off and I let out a yelp, "EEEP! Oh, this is bad!" The others rush out of their rooms, all still in their pyjamas looking worried. Fred looks at the TV, "Is it a double headed dragon that can light gas on fire? Or a wild chicken? Or a flying and talking taco or noodle Burger that shoots pickles and noodles?"
I shake my head, "Well, no, but I have to talk to Hiro for minute." I turn and grab his arm, pulling him behind me, "We'll be back in a minute."
I drag him to the back door and down the steps, the others looking at me like I had grown an extra head. I close the door behind us and look at Hiro, giving a weak laugh as I do.
"Okay, this is bad. They can't know that we are Big Hero 6. We can't let them know." Hiro said as he paced the yard.
I put my hand on his shoulder to stop him, making him face me, "I know. Relax Hiro, you were all in your costumes so no one will know unless we tell them. And I promise, I won't be telling anyone." I finish with my hand over my heart.
Hiro lets out a big sigh, before giving me a toothy grin and hug. "Thank sis." I laugh as I put my hand on top of his head and ruffle his hair. He pulls back and gives me the 'don't touch my hair' glare.
We walk back inside, and grandma looks at me, "Are you okay? You're not hurt, are you? We heard a yelp and didn't know what was going on."
I let out a small giggle, "I'm fine. I was just shocked at the news about the guest singer being rescued last night. Sorry to scare you."
Tadashi lets out a yawn before he says, Well the festival is only a couple day away. I'm just happy they found and rescued her so quickly."
I nod in reply as I start to set the table and Fred walks over to me, "Flower girl, you will let me know if you see any wild dragons, right?" I turn to look at him, and apparently, I missed it before because all he was dressed in was his boxes. I blushed bright red and turned away. I take a deep breath before turning to look at him again, nodding as I did so with an eyebrow raised, "Sure. Do you think you could put on robe though?"
I go back to my cooking, laughing as Fred lets out a squeak and runs to get a robe. Tadashi lets out a laugh and I turn to look at him, raising my eyebrow at him this time, "Nice captain America pyjamas." He lets out another laugh as he gets up and goes to get changed, coming back in black basketball shorts and a light blue t-shirt with the San Fransokyo logo on it, pulling on his cap as he sits down. Once we were all sitting down and eating, grandmother looks around at us all, "So, are you guys excited for festival? I know its going to be a lot of fun."
I smile and nod my head as I take a sip of my tea, thankfully I swallowed it before Fred looks up and says, "Maybe Big Hero 6 will come and sing with you."
Hiro facepalms and I shake my head, "Yeah, maybe. Who knows?" we finish breakfast and I start to clean up. Tadashi comes over "Did you want some help with the dishes?"
"Sure." I say with a smile. He walks over and starts washing, I finish collecting the dishes and then start to dry. After a moment, I start to hum something I had learnt a little while ago. "That's cute. What's the song?" Tadashi asks.
I blush as I respond, "Just a little song I learnt."
"Want to sing the rest?" he asked.
I nodded my head, took a breath and started to sing,
"Sore wa dare mo mitakotonai shunkan

I blush as I finish singing, noticing we were pretty much dine with the dishes. Tadashi looks at me, "That was really pretty. You sing really well."
"Thanks, I just hope I can do it again for the festival, I'm a little nervous."
Tadashi gives me a hug, "Well, no matter what happens, you've got me, I'm not going anywhere." I smile at him and we go sit with the rest of the gang for the rest of the night. Once it starts getting late, we say goodnight and all head to our rooms, I get changed and sit on my bed, brushing my hair I start to sing again,

It seems that there is a different coloured sky every morning,

As the boys get into bed Hiro looks over at Tadashi, "So, are you going to tell her how you feel at the festival? Bro, I mean, the way she was singing, I don't know."
Tadashi rolled his eyes, "I don't know just yet." He lets out a yawn that turns into a small cough, "Let's just go to sleep."
Hiro shakes his head as he turns off the light "All in due time big bro."
