Fallen-Ryu: I wanted Naruto to become Emperor since the planning of the first chapter, and most of the problem with chapter 10 was getting it correct and not pushed so much. The TIE-ARC will also be private to the Emperor's Conquering Fleet (still a work in progress but it'll be fleshed out lol).
jmknz777: The main pairing is NarutoxLana, but the concubine consists of the following (more to be added as time goes on) and will be seen as an elite group personal to Naruto; Tayuya, Sateh, Frysus, Krovos, Wraith, and Zash.
Chapter Summary: A large amount of the Sith has seceded from the Empire, claiming to deny Naruto his rule as Emperor. To show his power and to make an example out of them, Naruto goes to handle them himself without mercy.
Chapter Eleven - Secession
"This better be good, Lord Uzumaki."
Naruto walked into the Council Chambers and only gave a glance to Darth Thanaton - the one who spoke - and stopped in the middle of the room; his apprentices waited inside the door. There are twelve seats, all with their respective Lords sitting on them. On the left; Marr, Jadus, Ravage, Rictus, Decimus, and Acharon. To the right; Mortis, Vowrawn, Karrid, Thanaton, Aruk, and Vengean. I turned my head over my left shoulder and looked at Lana and nodded my head.
"What is the meaning of this!" Vengean shouted as the holorecorder started a live feed to every Imperial world and outpost, recording Naruto where he was.
"Council, Lords and Officers of the Empire, I humbly come to you with news," Naruto looked to the Council, and to the recording droid. Behind him, Reaper Squad led Sevant One and Two as well as Scourge inside the room. "With me now is Servant One and Servant Two, agents of the ruling Emperor, as well as the Wrath. I, however, backed with the words of Servant One as Servant Two is quite incoherent because of his glimpse into our Emperor's mind, bring you unfortunate news on our Emperor." Giving a pause to let his words sink in, he continued, "I am saddened to tell you that the Emperor that we knew, by the name of Vitiate, was no more than a puppet and his long silence was because the man that led us was nothing but a fragment of who he was. The man that was our Emperor has abandoned us to our feud with the Republic, and has his focus elsewhere making a new Empire. He told me, when I approached him when summoned, that we are nothing more than a failed project; a means to an end."
Naruto turned to Mortis and then Marr across from him. "My Lords, I fought and killed the fragment known as Vitiate; the man that was our true Emperor, named Valkorion, told me all of which I have told you here and now. He told me that he wanted to play a game of gods; he will come back in seven or so years with this new empire of his and he will attack us. I, surprisingly, was made his successor; I know none of you here will believe my mere words so maybe you will trust the Wrath and Servants that served under him."
Naruto turned around and motioned to the three; Servant Two was the first to speak, babbling in fragmented words and in ways that left only Servant One understanding him. "The new Emperor. Strong in Power, moreso than our old Master. Serve him to death, guide through trivial opposition. Kill him. Secure throne. Serve. To Death."
By this moment he was mumbling to himself, both hands gripping his head before he went quiet; his hands went back to his sides as he stared blankly at the wall.
"He says that Lord Uzumaki is our new master, and is the new Emperor. Our duty is to protect him, to kill in his name, and guide him through the trials he will face." Servant One spoke up, his hands clasped in front of him. "As is your duties as well."
It was silent for a while, Naruto looked around to look at each Sith Lord, before a scoff came from Thanaton. "You really want to make a fool of our Empire and think that we will believe this mess? I knew we should have just killed everyone on your planet."
"Do not overstep your bounds, Thanaton," Marr spoke from his place on the other side of the room, "I had gone to our Emperor's spacedock to see if what he said is true earlier this week. The body of our old Emperor was there, and his Servants were there to serve Charybdis. I believe his words."
"I trust Marr," Mortis began from his spot across from the other Lord, "but I would still like to hear from the Wrath. I remember him from when I was a mere apprentice, when he cut down my old master for plotting against the Emperor."
Scourge gave a nod, now remembering that event, "Right, your master was Darth Privus. I see you have grown from his mistakes." Without an answer, he continued, "but to answer you; yes, Lord Uzumaki had killed the former Emperor's host and was then thus appointed his successor. In seven years, he will come with a new powerful empire at his call."
"Then my vote is assured," Mortis nodded, sitting back.
"I know of the Servants, and of the Wrath, so you had my vote as soon as they spoke on your command," Rictus nodded his head.
Vowrawn, Jadus, Aruk and Acharon nodded their heads. Ravage, although he agreed in the end, still looked skeptical. Thanaton and Vengean outright refuted and denied their vote along with the rest. However, it was majority vote and Naruto grinned when he counted in his head.
"So it has been decided," Marr spoke before rising from his seat, everyone following too, "Lord Uzumaki is seen as our new Emperor. May you lead us forward in preparation of this threat of our old Emperor."
"I will do everything in my power to do so, my Lords," Naruto nodded his head, glancing at the dark looks of a few of the members. 'I will deal with all of you in due time.'
One month later
Konoha City, Estea
Naruto stood before a holotable within his estate on Estea, built after successful negotiations for control over his planet three weeks ago. To his right stood Servant One and Lord Scourge to the right of him. To his left stood Zabuza, then Kakashi, and across from him stood Shikamaru and Lana Beniko. They completed his close commanders and advisors for his personal offensive against enemies of the Empire and those within the Republic. Marr would have holo'd but he was busy planning with the rest of his Councilors about the growing tension and threat of the Republic; it has gotten so bad that even Mortis, who has been trying to keep the Treaty up, has acknowledged the need to prepare.
Naruto's rise to power had been pretty accepted among most of the populace and navy; the forces and military of some members of the Council - Thanaton, Karrid, Decimus, and Vengean - have curbed his progression and attempts to lead as the Emperor but they have not outright challenged him or his growing military power as of yet.
"So far," Kakashi spoke up as he walked around the table, pointing to certain star systems, "We have most of the Outer Rim planets under our control with the Hutt Cartels allied with us. We are still fighting rebellions on Balmorra, Onderon, Kashyyyk, and Ord Mantell. Alderaan royal families are still fighting over control and whoever wins will determine if the planet will be allied to us or the Republic. The Inner Core is to protected by the Republic fleets, but we've gotted as much as to Balmorra and Alderaan with Manaan remaining independent but trading supplies with us."
"However, planets like Hoth and Ilum are heavily contested because of their frozen arctic and their surplus of crystals." Zabuza added to the briefing. "Their natural resources will help swing the power in any future war."
Naruto nodded. "What do you think is the best course of action for now?"
Kakashi brought a hand to his neck and sighed, closing his eyes. "Forces on Balmorra and Kashyyyk can handle themselves but if it can't be handled soon we will end up putting too much resources into them to the point that it will not have been worth it. Alderaan will, sooner or later, need to be under our control if we're going to want a good stationing point against the Republic. Manaan is no threat to us even if they're not under our control. Hoth and Ilum is just a boiling pot and will eventually spill over into a fierce war zone. One of those frozen planets would more likely need help first."
"I concur," Servant One said, pointing to Alderaan. "Alderaan has soldiers and resources that, once allied with us, will be a great boost to our Emperor's future plans. And the Alderaan families have always backed the Republic. If we let our one ally among the families lose their election, it will be a big blow to where we stand in our campaign."
Naruto squinted his eyes before turning to the large sith man that has remained quiet this whole time. "And what of you, Lord Scourge? What is your opinion of all of this?"
The man was quiet as he stared at the map before turning his eyes to the Emperor. "Recently, a Mandalorian clan by the name of Varad has started skirmishing Imperial and Republic alike but nothing greatly antagonizing. However, Mandalorians don't act like this unless they're planning something big. Wait for them to act, and whatever they've taken or built we will take and destroy them. As for where I stand, there has been threat of a few planets seceding from the Republic and creating their own alliance of sorts. If we can get them to side with us, that will be even greater pull and supplies from multiple worlds."
Naruto nodded, liking his idea more. "Okay, we will either take care of clan Varad or the seceding planets, whichever happens first, before we move onto the capturing of Alderaan. We'll figure out where we go from there."
Naruto was about to leave when his holo started going off. "Interesting, not many can get me through my personal holo." He pulled it out and clicked the receiving button and immediately found Darth Marr and Mortis. "What can I do for you, Councilors?"
"There has been a secession from the Empire," Marr growled out, clearly angered beyond belief, "a combined forces led by Thanaton, Decimus and Vengean have declared war against you - who they claim to be the false Emperor."
"And Karrid has gone her own way and secluded herself within her own systems." Mortis picked up, his voice much calmer, "we have kept this knowledge from spreading outside of Imperial space and have decided that you, as Emperor, should handle this yourself. We will help, of course, but you must make an example of them for turning their back on the Empire."
"I agree," Naruto nodded and turned to Kakashi and Zabuza. "I want you both to lead our fleets and head for Karrid."
"And I'm guessing you're going after the three coalition forces?" Kakashi sighed, but knew the answer already.
"Yup," Naruto grinned before turning to Mortis and Marr. "Plan on a list of Lords you want to replace the soon to be empty Council seats and when I get back we will discuss the replacements."
"Understood, Emperor," Marr said before the transmission cut out. He turned to the group. "Shikamaru, you're going to go after Karrid, too, and Lana you-"
"Are going with you," Lana spoke and Naruto almost flinched when he looked into the stormy molten eyes of his love, "and there's no debate about it."
"Of course, I wouldn't have suggested anything else," Naruto chuckled and turned to Scourge before mumbling, "you go and kill or capture each of the apprentices of the traitor Councilors."
"Yes, my Emperor." Scourge nodded.
"Good, now let's go," Naruto said before leading everyone out of the room.
"Coming upon the traitor fleet, my love," Lana spoke through their comms.
"Good, head straight for their capital ship."
"Blue team to your left."
"Green team on the right."
Naruto looked to his sides to see two teams of twenty come out of hyperspace with his ship. All of them being the TIE-ARC stealth fighter that he now employs into his fleets. "Good. Intercept their Interceptors, but be careful of their larger ships. I'll crush as many of the destroyers that I can."
"Understood," the two team leaders responded before shifting off.
"You think you can crush their destroyers, love?" Lana asked, her feelings coming in concern and worry to his senses.
"I can, trust me."
"I do."
Naruto let go of his stick and reached with the Force, the red mist coming from his eyes once more. He felt a cool air rush over him like the clear beaches of his homeland, his heart sung like that when he was with his love, and, as if grasping something in his hands, he clenched but found his hands stilled. A foreign power was trying to prevent his destruction. Whoever it was annoyed him. 'You anger me.'
Crushing his hands more, it took but two seconds before his hands completely clenched together and he heard the two simultaneous explosions go off. Opening his eyes, He saw two Harrower-class dreadnoughts drift apart with explosions still reacting around the ship. All that was left was the capital ship, and three Terminus-class destroyers. He knew the perfect move to use on them.
Naruto extended his fingers to the glass of his canopy and watched as a small black mass swirled into existence, growing until it was as big as the nose of his TIE-ARC. He connected his respirator, "Green team, Blue team, pull away from the ships now."
"Copy."
"Copy."
Naruto took no time before willing the ball to be thrusted towards the three destroyers. He watched, with amused entertainment, as a sonic expulsion was seen cutting through the weak destroyers but only weakening the shielding around the capital dreadnought. However, as soon as he thought that, a second explosion rocked his ship as they flew towards the mess, and the destroyers were practically crushed and disintegrated from this explosion. The capital ship was tipped over to its side and it's engines were off - a plasma fire burning along the belly and side of the ship.
"All teams good to go. Clean out this fleet."
Naruto turned to his love, who looked at him with a small copy and a truly loving look that he had only saw a few times apart from the lustful looks they shared, and leaned up to steal a kiss. "What's that look for, my beautiful flower?"
"I just still can't believe I'm so lucky to be with someone a handsome and strong as you," she gasped out with a pure smile, her eyes twinkling as she looked into his. "Let's deal with the traitors."
"Agreed," Naruto gave one last kiss before sitting back in his seat and helped maneuver the nose of the ship into the dreadnought. As they entered, he fired his rotary cannon into the waiting traitor marines. It tore into them without trouble, making it a little less fun.
After landing, Naruto jumped out and clashed with the first Sith acolyte that appeared and dealt with her swiftly. Using the Force, he sent a crackling wave into the four marines and two acolytes and they burst into dust as soon as it hit them. He looked over to his wife to see her cut down the last of twelve marines, giving a grin.
"Stay here, please, my love," Naruto gave her a deep kiss before rushing off. "This will take nothing but fifteen minutes."
As Naruto rushed through the ship, any and all that stood in his way being vaporized by the red mist that surrounded four feet around him, eroding the durasteel around him. His face showed unhallowed anger, his jaw clenched as he focused on the bridge of the ship where his enemies lay in wait. They knew they will not escape him. The fact he didn't just crush their ship like the others showing how he wanted to give them a fair chance; atone their mistakes. Or, they're plotting and calling him a fool for not taking the easy way out.
You cannot teach someone a lesson without knowing the pain and fear on their face.
Naruto didn't like easy, and people knew that. But here he was, Emperor of the Empire - with different struggles and challenges, yes, but not the same as when he conquered his world from behind the scenes. The Force made things easy, and sometimes he was grateful for it, other times he loathed it.
Reaching the door, to which it exploded to allow him easy entrance, he slowed into a walk as he entered the room. The three Councilors stood with their lightsabers drawn, four imperial marines and three acolytes standing between them and Naruto.
"You finally made it, false Emperor," Decimus spoke first, "just as I knew you would charge headfirst without actually thinking of your strategy."
Naruto tilted his head and narrowed his eyes, feign confusion in his eyes. "What do you? Strategy wasn't that hard. Board your ship, kill everyone in sight, reach you three, behead your three traitors. Not that hard."
"And that is where you fail!" Thanaton shouted. "You disgrace this Empire with your tricks, your lies, and your philosophy! You are part of what is corroding the Empire and preventing it from reaching it's true potential!"
Naruto chuckled, throaty and delighted, as he looked at the old man in amusement. "No, I saved your Empire. I bring unity, I bring strength, and I bring an understanding your puny mind can't comprehend. You feel threatened by me and my power. Your standing was crumbling, your bigotry against aliens was no longer valid when someone like me and my people were strong in the Force. You died the moment you met me." After the last sentence every acolyte and marine had their neck snapped, and Naruto had drew his lightsaber and ignited it within a second. "And all your lives end today."
"We will not die to the likes of you!" Aruk shouted, meeting Naruto in a clash, the crash of their sabers met in furious blows from each other. "You are filth! A slave! A masquerading clown! You're going to die like the mutt you are!"
Naruto chuckled, before the snap of his wrist caused his lightsaber to slice the his opponent's and he used the Force to push him back. Watching him crash through the glass and out into space, the emergency shutters stabilizing pressure and oxygen immediately, Naruto turned to the other two Councilors. His eyes were now pure red, not a single white or gold to be seen, and he grinned sadistically. "Who's next?"
Meanwhile
Lana stood by the ship, a hand on her stomach and the other holding a holopad. She gave a small smile as she read the transmission report;
Dear Lord Beniko,
I am pleased to inform you that your private test results have come back, and I send you this privately and discreetly as you requested, you are positive! You are five weeks pregnant, and if you search through the Force you will be able to feel the child. Whenever you are free, as well as the Emperor, to come to the clinic we will be able to help you through the labor plans and other information for you to know. Again, congratulations!
She closed her eyes, both hands reaching to her stomach, and she felt that tiny flame; the life of her child, and Naruto's. Her heart fluttered happily. They will be having a family, and her child will be godly strong and beautiful. She was lucky, and she knew he will be happy to learn. Well, except for the worry he'll feel when he learns she was here with him and in possible danger.
She opened her eyes and looked down, gazing pass the dark clothing she wore. "Hopefully daddy will be back soon."
She heard durasteel doors open and she looked up to see the man of her life walked through, a satisfied smile on his face and his robes were slightly torn and tattered from his back but he showed no real injuries. He locked eyes with her and raised an eyebrow. "Why the big smile, my love?"
Lana brought him into a hug, her lips finding his and slipped her tongue into his - starting a small quick battle of supremacy before pulling back. She rested her head on his chest, closing her eyes to stop the tears that threatened to come. "It's nothing, just happy to have you."
Naruto smiled and held her close to him, and rested his head on hers with closed eyes. "Forever and always, my love."
