Chapter 56: Closing Ceremonies Cessation Confessions

As the sun comes up, I stretch and look out my window,remembering the festival and being up on-stage last night and how I got to sing with Hirkaru. I smile as I open my closet and looked for something to wear for the day.

Kiba lets out a bark as I pull out an outfit. It has three main colours, pink, cream and yellow. It was a body suit that had a dress that went over the top. The body suit is sleeveless and is cream coloured. It has a yellow rim with the shorts folded over and buttoned up. The dress was a light pink ad the skirt had frills with a part of the front of the skirt cut away to show the shorts underneath. The top part of the dress is done up with 6 buttons on the back and has yellow rims. The boots that go with it are cream coloured and have pink fabric clasped on the top of them like the front of the dress. The hat is cream coloured as well, with a piece of pink fabric clasped together with three buttons on the side, yellow gloves finish the outfit.

Once I was ready I walk out of my room and Grandpa looks at me, "I wish you didn't have to go back so soon, we hardly got to see you with the festival going on and the singer as well." He takes a sip of his coffee and a bite of his plum jam filled biscuits.

I giggle as I give him a hug, "I know but I am sure mum, and dad miss me as well." Grandpa gives me puppy dig eyes as I finish setting the table with glasses and silver ware. I smile at him, "You could always come with us and see mum and dad as well."

I help with breakfast, getting it finished and on the table. We were about to sit down to breakfast when the doorbell rang. I went and opened the front door to someone I wasn't expecting, "Hirkaura, what are you doing here? Don't you have to head home?"

She giggles at me, "I don't have to leave until a little later. I was wondering if I could join you for breakfast this morning. That is, if that's okay with you?"

I nod my head with my mouth open wide, it was taking me a little bit to shake the surprise off, "S-s-s-sure. I just have to check with my grandparents." I quickly walk back into the kitchen, they laugh at my as they nod, my excitement making me mix up words.

I go to the door and tell her to come in, showing her to the table as I set another plate for her. The others come down as I finish setting her place and setting myself at the table. Hiro yawns as he walks in, "When did the mystery singer get here?"

I laugh at him, "Not too long ago. Hey, before we go home, did you want to take another look around town?"

They all nod and once they had all finished breakfast, they head upstairs to get ready for the day. Tadashi coming down the stairs in black baseball shorts, a light blue shirt with a black and whit ninja on it and his cap in his hand. Hiro comes out in dark grey pants with yellow shoes and a red shirt with a checker jacket of his shirt. I pat his head as he walks past me and he shoots me a glare over his shoulder.

We walk around the town, having a great time looking through shops and laughing with each other. Hirkaura takes a step back to walk next to me, "If you don't tell him what your thinking and feeling, you can't expect them to be acknowledged by others."

I blush, "I know, I am trying. But I am afraid that he won't think or feel the same way about me. I know it's silly, but I can't help it." I pout, not being able to help the thought that my feels won't be reciprocated. I didn't realise but, Tadashi heard what I had to say, decided that it was time to tell me how he felt.

Hirkaura smiles as she pats my shoulder, making me blush, "It's going to be okay. Just give it some time, you don't have to rush." I not and smile in thanks. When we get to the tower and the cherry blossoms, we take sum funny pictures around them. When the sun started to set, we said our goodbyes and the gang, and I headed back to the house. Not long after we walked in the door, I got a text message from Hirkaura saying that she may come and visit me again one day once we are home and she has a break from work. I reply saying that would be great and I couldn't wait before we all started getting ready for dinner.

We al sit down to eat when Fred looks at me, "So, flower girl, do you think you could sing like that again when we go home?"

I giggle at him, "Maybe, I don't know when I will have the chance again. We will have to see." Once we finish our dinner, I help clean the table and start to wash the dishes.

The gang heads out to watch TV while Tadashi hangs back, watching me clean the dishes for a bit, "Sakura, when you are done, can we talk out on the deck? It's nothing bad, I just wanted to talk to you about something."

I nod in response, finishing the dishes before drying my hands and following Tadashi outside. I sat down next to him, and turned to look at him, "So, I overheard you talking to Hirkaura today. I just wanted you to know that, well, I have the same feeling for you as well."

I blush, "Really? I thought you didn't have any feelings for me at all?"

He lets out a laugh, "Yeah, well, let's just say they took a little bit for them to come out and for me to realise just what they were." He finishes while trying to hide a blush.

He reaches over and pulls me into a hug. He leans back and gives me a kiss. "Let's not tell the others just yet, let's keep it between us, okay?" I nod as I lean over and give him another quick kiss. We head back inside and Hiro flashes me a knowing smile. I nod as he comes over and give me a hug, whispering in my ear, "It's about time. I know one of you would break sooner or later." I laugh as I pat his head. He tried to sidestep away from me, but I managed to get his head anyway.

Night falls and we all get ready for bed. In the boy's room, Hiro looks at his daydreaming brother with a smirk, "So, are you finally happy you told her how you feel?"

Tadashi nods as he sits down on his bed, "Yes, I am. It just felt right to tell her how I felt." He got into his pyjamas and brushed his teeth. They got into bed and turned the light of.

I walk into my room and put on my pink pyjamas before laying on my bed. "He loves me, or at least has feelings for me. I wonder how long it will last…" I turn off the light as Kiba jumps on my bed before rolling over and falling asleep.
