In a dimly lit cave, an old woman was sitting down on her knees while holding her hands together as a form of prayer. In the look of her eyes, it shows great sadness and pain. The reason for her sadness was the situation that was happening to the kingdom of her birthplace. After the death of the current king, the throne was given to the still unmatured prince. Because he was just a child, the one who made sure that he learned to be a fine ruler was in the hands of the prime minister, Honest.

Under the teaching and influnced of Honest, the young prince, instead of making the empire into a great kingdom, he turn it into nothing but a living hell for his people. As it turns out, Honest was just using the emperor for his own selfish needs. By his deceit, lives were taken, women raped, homes were ravaged by bandits that were roaming about making the people's life more misreable then it already is.

The old woman's family was also a victim of the corrupted empire. Long ago, she witnessed her own daugther and grand- daugther being raped by the imperial soldiers of the Empire in front of her eyes. How that time has scarred her for the rest of her life. It was also at that time, she had enough of the never ending torture and went out in the middle of the forest to find a certain place that was unknown from the eyes and ears of the Empire. After the long search, she had found what she was looking for, a cave.

To some, it just looks like a simple old cave, but for her it was a secret that only she knew. Back in her younger days, she accidently found this cave while hunting for danger beast. Curious, she went to the cave to find anything valuable or maybe a danger beast to kill. Inside the cave, what she found amazed her. On the walls, there she saw carvings of a picture. She went for a closer look to understand it better. Eventually, she figured out that the carvings were talking about a prophecy that the Empire will be corrupt and a saviour with seven scars will be sent to deal with it.

Back to the present, the old woman has been praying for days without eat nor sleep. She had been so weak to even move anymore. But that didn't stop her to continue to pray over and over again for the saviour to be sent and save the good souls in the Empire.

"Please... Lord above... send us... our saviour..." With one last determined plea, she fell down on the stone cold floor. The fatigue was already getting to her already weak body. Before her eyes could closed, a bright light shined before her. As the light getting dimmer, she saw a lying figure of a man on the cave floor. After what she saw, she knew that her prayers were answered. "The saviour has come..." with teary eyes she said it until, death took hold of her.

In a desert wasteland, a figure of a man was walking through the ever raging sandstorm. It might look like that this person was nothing but a fool to walk through a sandstorm, but this man wasn't an ordinary man. He was none other then, Kenshiro. The 64th successor of Hokuto Shinken and the Saviour of Centurys end.

Kenshiro was always a wanderer. Following where the wind takes him. As he was walking, he saw a lone cave infront of him. Kenshiro stopped and thought it would be a good idea to stay in the cave for awhile and wait for the sandstorm to stop. With that in mind, Kenshiro went to the cave.

Inside the cave, he sat down while looking outside. Feeling a little bit tired from all the walking, he thought it might be a good idea to rest for a bit. After checking his surroundings for any danger, he lay down to take a short nap.

Kenshiro's dream

Kenshiro was standing in a middle of a town. The place was quite unfamiliar for him. In his travels, he never saw a town that was filled with life. The town itself has all that it needs. Clean water, fresh food, clean air, they all have it. As diverse the town is, the thing that question Kenshiro the most is the people. The problem with the people was just there were none of them, as in; the town is empty.

That weird out Kenshiro. Where are they?

Standing around wasn't going to help so he start walking around the town. As he was walking, he notice a huge palace standing proudly in the middle of the town. By the looks of it, the town was govern by a king or a queen.

As kenshiro looked away from the palace, he suddenly saw a little girl infront of him and was crying. 'Where did she come from?' thought Ken. But he thought about that mystery later cause right now, he needs to check on the girl. He quickly went to the girl and kneel down to her and talk in a soft, kind voice. "What's the matter?" he said.

The girl stop crying and slowly look at Kenshiro. With a sob she said; " I-I lost my mama and papa. I can't find them."

Feeling sorry for the girl, Kenshiro did the only right thing to do. " Don't worry. I'll help you find them." said kenshiro as he reach out his hand to her. "Really?" said the girl.

"Really." said Ken with a kind smile. The sad face of the girl quickly turn into a big happy smile. "Thank you mister!" said the girl as she reach out to Kenshiro's hand.

As Kenshiro was about to grab the girl's hand, she suddenly dissapered from his sight. This suprised Kenshiro. As he was trying to find the girl again, he froze.

What he saw wasn't the empty peaceful town anymore, but a town that's fill with corpses. Everywhere he look, there were corpses lying about. As he was suprised with his surroundings, he heard an explosion. He turn around and saw various types people were killing all the citizens in the town. He saw a girl using a gun with a weird looking dog killing and eating the towns people with a crazed smile, a woman that was able to create ice from thin air and torturing people with a sadistic face, and a mask man who was burning people with a flamethrower.

Kenshiro was still in a suprised state as he was shocked in the situation he was in. As he was about to take action, he heard a faint cry. "M...is...ter..." said the voice. Kenshiro look for the source of the voice and when he found it, it broke his already broken heart. There, he saw the young girl lying on the ground, with a huge gapping hole on her chest. Kenshiro quickly went to the girl and raise her up on his hands.Kenshiro was now crying as another innocent child was dying infront of him and he couldn't do nothing to stop it. "Mister..." said the girl. "Save us mister... , save us..." The words of the girl echoed on Kenshiro's mind as his surroundings were slowly swirling into darkness.

End of dream

Kenshiro woke up with a scare. He was now having a cold sweat after that nightmare. "What was that?" said Ken. The dream that he saw was strange to say the least. Every thing that he saw, every thing that he felt, was to real to be a normal dream. It felt more like a vision of sorts. 'That girl...' thought Ken. As he was having a thought, he notice the change of enviroment of his surroundings. The cave he was in was lit with a single torch on the wall and the wall was filled with carvings.

As he was looking around, he notice a body lying next to him. He went to check who it was and see if he or she was still alive. When he was near, he check who the person was. After knewing it was an eldery woman, he check her pulse. But alas, she was already gone. Feeling sadden, he gave her a silent prayer and start walking to the cave entrance to know where he was.

Kenshiro slowly walked out of the cave while rising his hand up to cover his eyes from the light of the sun. As the sunlight was away from his eyesight, he was able to see the surroundings more clearly. With wide eyes, Kenshiro was suprised of what he saw. All around him, a row of trees and a grassy land was surrounding him. By the looks of it, he was in a forest. It was unbeliveble! No more dryed up soil on his feet, no more desert wasteland on his horizon. Everywhere he look, life flourish without reserved.

As much as Kenshiro wants to enjoy the lush enviroment, he still need to figure out where in the world is he.

He continued his walk through the forest in search for an answer until he heard an all to familiar sound. The sound of screaming.

"Hah...hah...hah..."

She was running.

"Hah...hah...hah..."

Running as hard as she can.

"Hah...hah...hah..."

Her body drence in sweat.

"Hahh...hah..."

Breathing was getting difficult for her.

"Hah...hahh..."

Her muscles were in pain.

"Hah...hah..."

But she didn't care. She kept on running.

It was suppose to be a simple job. Spy on what the Empire were up too and send the information to the Revolutionary Army. But luck wasn't on her side. One of the imperial soldiers saw what she was doing and start chasing after her.

After she was seen, with a swift feet she ran with all her might. Dodging from bystanders and random obstacles from her way. She looked behind seeing a group of soldiers chasing her. She kept on running until she found a cart with a horse and rode it.

"She's getting away! Quickly, tell the others and start going after her!" said one of the soldiers. The other soldiers didn't retort as they start running back towards the barracks.

The girl was already far away from the Empire and escaped with a tread of her life. As she was about to huffed in relief, the sounds of neighing were heard behind her. Somehow the imperial soldiers were able to catch up to her.

"Stop! Revolutionary scum! You will not get away from us that easily!" shouted one the them as they were trying to aim the cart wheel with their guns.

Before the girl could rode faster, the soldiers open fire at the wheel of her cart causing it to lose balance. She jumped off from it safely before it colapse.

The girl quickly stood up to her feet a continued her escape through to forest.She thought that she can escape. But here she is right now, surrounded by the enemy with no where to escape.

"We got you now! you're trap just like the scum you are!" Said a soldier who was giving a grin.She didn't able to react when the soldier start restraining both of her arms.

"L-let go off me!" cried the girl as she kick the soldier on his middle region. "Gah!" The soldier cried in pain. "You Bitch!"

Slap!

"Ahh!" She yelled in pain after getting slapped by the soldier and was bleeding from it. Slowly the soldier walk towards her with a disgusting grin on his face. "Hahaha! You damn bitch your gonna pay for that! Cause you just kick me in the balls, I'm gonna make you lick it till it's healed!"

The soldier quickly told his comrades to pin her down and they obliged. The woman was now struggling as hard as she can but she was no match for them. The soldier was now licking his lips disgustingly as he was trying to violate the poor girl. As for her, she can only scream in tears.

'Please... somebody... save me...' cried the girl as she closed her eyes and waited.

"Hey... who's that?"

The soldier stop at what he was doing after hearing what his comrade was talking about. Facing infront of him, he saw the figure of a man walking towards them. The man was big, wearing a leather jacket, pants and boots with a makeshift shoulder guard. To say the least, his appearance was weird and foreign. He was getting closer to them and made a sudden stop.

Kenshiro was pissed. No matter where he goes, scums like them was always there. By the looks of it, they look like a group of soldiers with their uniforms and all. Out of all of them, Ken was now focusing on one of the soldiers. The one who was about to rape the girl.

"Hey buddy, what're you staring at!?"

Ken didn't even answered his question as he just kept staring at him. This somehow just pissed him off.

"Hey! Are you deaf?! I'm talking to you!"

Ken stood silent and didn't say a word. Eventually, he started to speak to them. "Let her go."

Stunned by Kenshiro's answer, the soldiers look at each other and laughed. "Hahaha! or what tough guy!? You gonna beat us to death!?"

"I will not ask a third time. Let. Her. Go."

Obviously, the soldier was not happy with Ken's words as he pull out his sword to kill him for threatening him. "Listen outsider! I don't care who you are but don't think you're getting away for threatening an Empire soldier!" He then dash straight to Ken with sword in hand.

Poke

"Huh?!"

Suddenly Ken's finger was on the soldier's forehead. This surprised him from the sudden poke. Thinking Ken was messing around with him, he started to moke him. But he and the other soldiers didn't know that poke was his demise.

"What's this?! Are you supposed to beat me with a finger?!"

Kenshiro look at him with a serious face as he answered the soldier. " That finger has strike one of your hidden vital points. There's no use fighting now, you're already dead."

"Ha! I'm already dead!? What kind of sick joke you making you bastararar..."

The soldiers stop laughing as they saw their leader was acting funny. The former to as well. Suddenly, his face started to bulge and cause a lot of pain.

"Wha-what's h-h-happe-pening too m-me!? Aaaarrggh!!!"

His head slowly expanded and explode into a bloody mess.

The headless body fell down to the ground still twitching and blood was still gushing out. It was silent, the soldiers and the girl were in shock of what was going on. They were all trying to understand the situation until one of the soldiers broke the ice.

"Eeeekk!"

"W-w-what happen!?"

h-he killed the c-captain!"

"K-k-k-kill him! KILL HIM!"

In a desperate move, the soldiers draw out their swords and dash towards Ken while some aim their rifles in fear shooting carelessly. Ken went into his stance as he waited the fear ridden soldiers got close enough.

ATA!!

Ken's feet strike with lightning speed as he kicked the soldiers on their face one by one. Staggered from the kick, the soldiers once again charge at Ken with rage but just like their leader, they too share the same fate once Ken touched them.

"Aaahhh!!"

One by one their heads exploded into a bloody pulp leaving nothing but a bunch of headless bodies. The other soldiers were now shaking in their legs and wasn't able to hold their rifle properly but even so they still tried to shoot at Kenshiro hoping it to hit him.

At the reckless shooting, Ken was able to dodge the bullets with ease and came fast, face to face with the soldier and poke his finger to the soldier's cheek and continue on the other one with his finger on the soldier's forehead. The one who was strike on the cheek died first while the other one was cowering in fear.

"W-wait! Please don't kill me! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I won't do it again! I'm sorry!!"

Kenshiro only gave him a harden glare and slowly removed his finger from the soldier's forehead and turn his back on him. As the soldier was about to do a sneak attack, like always, his head exploded.

The girl was still in shock. Here she was seeing a man taking down a group of Empire soldiers effortlessly with just a few kicks and pokes that cause their heads to explode. The man then started to walk towards her in a calm stride. She was starting to get scared after seeing what happened. Frozen in fear she couldn't move from her spot and just closed her eyes in tears.

"P-please! Don't hurt me!"

Before she thought it was her demise, a calm and kind voice spoke.

"Are you alright?"

She opened her eyes to see the man himself kneeling on one knee and giving a kind smile to her. Slowly she calmed down from her fear and answered him.

"I-I'm fine..."

"Can you stand?"

"Y-yes..."

Slowly she stood up and clean herself from the dirt and fixing her clothes. After that she focus on her saviour.

"Thank you for saving me stranger! without you, they would have already raped and killed me! Again, I thank you!"

Ken simply gave a calm grunt as he looked around his surroundings. The girl just gave a weird look at Ken. Why wouldn't she, his entire clothing was weird to boot. It feels like he just wore them without thinking what it looks like. But she won't lie, he looks quite good in it and fitting.

"Um... what's your name? I can't just call you stranger right?"

Ken simply look at the girl calmly and silently. She felt a little awkward at the stare. Did she said something wrong?

"Kenshiro."

"Huh?"

"My name... is Kenshiro."
