Chapter 3:
It was dawn at Seers Village.
Jessica woke up hearing noise and looked out the window seeing Varrock airships along with other allied airships traveling in the distance toward Seers Village.
Jessica yawned and got her clothes on and her weapon ready and walked outside.
Right as she walked outside she saw Norman and Beverly.
"What are you two doing here?" Jessica asked worriedly.
"We got lost dear." Beverly said.
"We told the man not to take us east!" Norman shouted.
"Norman, this is west." Jessica said.
"I told you Norman." Beverly said.
"Stupid map!" Norman shouted and ripped the map up.
"Listen you two just stay inside okay?" Jessica asked.
"We know about the war here." Norman said.
"Don't worry dear we will be right behind cheering you all on." Beverly said.
Beverley held up a bag of cookies that were broken up.
"I made everyone a batch." Beverly said.
"Even though she should be feeding me." Norman said grumbling.
"Now Norman we must share." Beverly said.
Jessica sighed and hugged both of them.
Both of them didn't see that coming but gave her a back pat.
"Alright youngster, get a move on." Norman said.
"Be safe dear." Beverley said.
"Jessica?" Ulquiorra asked walking up.
"Listen-" Jessica began to say.
"No need to explain. I'm just glad you are safe and here to help." Ulquiorra said.
"Where is Aizen?" Jessica asked.
"He's at the flagship over there." Ulquiorra said pointing to it.
"He's going the other direction?" Jessica asked confused.
"Yeah, he and a few others are going to attack from the south while the main assault is at the north." Ulquiorra said.
"I guess this is it then." Jessica said.
"If you want you can stay with me and my division or you can hurry and go around to the south and help Aizen out. It's your call." Ulquiorra said.
"I'll stick with you for now." Jessica said.
"Alright. Here I got some runes you can have." Ulquiorra said handing her some.
Jessica placed them in her pouch and looked back to Norman and Beverly with a nod who nodded back to her.
Jessica walked with Ulquiorra and his division headed toward Ardougne, to the coming battle.
Meanwhile on the Condor.
"We are almost to the south." Stork said.
"Land quickly and head back to the main battle so they think we are there." Aizen said.
Sasori got geared up putting a vest over his robe with some items attached.
"Got extra potions?" Aizen asked him.
Sasori patted two pockets on his vest to indicate he did.
"So just us and a few of our soldiers?" Sasori asked.
"Yes. I want them to think the south is safe but we will sneak in." Aizen said.
"We are here." Stork said.
Aizen, Sasori, and four soldiers got up and ran out of the cockpit.
Stork spinned the Condor to where they jumped from it and into the trees and respun it back in position before heading back into the clouds.
"Perfect." Aizen said and beckoned them to follow.
Aizen looked at the south gates having only four guards there.
"Poison darts." Aizen told his four soldiers.
The soldiers got prepared and shot them at the same time at the soldiers to not alarm the other to escape.
They ran and headed into the city of Ardougne.
They ran through the alleyways before stopping behind some crates to catch their breath.
Sasori peeked through the cracks to see any activity.
"I see a lot of guards patrolling." Sasori whispered.
"See an opening?" Aizen asked.
"I think we should sneak in the back of the buildings for now." Sasori said.
Aizen looked back to talk to his soldiers but to his surprise, he found them dead.
Aizen poked Sasori's head which made him turn and look.
Aldsan stood there over the bodies looking at Aizen and Sasori with a smirk on her face.
"One of Karura's Dark Council no doubt." Aizen said.
Aldsan's eyes flashed with an aura within them and she gave out a hiss through her grinning lips.
Aizen got his sword out and Sasori summoned one of his puppets to stand in front of him.
Aldsan held her hand out and two sand clones of herself appeared beside her and both of them rushed at Aizen and Sasori while she created a twister of sand to swirl around herself and head toward them.
Sasori's puppet was swallowed by one of the sand clones and destroying it completely.
Aizen and Sasori both had to run backward and then both front flipped over the clones and evaded the incoming sand twister.
Aldsan snickered and retracted her sand back to her for defense.
Sasori managed to swing two fists into Aldsan's face before Aizen ran up and swiped his blade toward her but her sand caught his weapon holding it tight.
The sand rose up over them and crashed down on Aizen and Sasori painfully burrowing them.
Aldsan laughed as her sand rose up and down bashing into them and then grabbing their legs flinging them into a building.
Aizen slowly got up helping Sasori up.
"She's enjoying herself." Sasori said.
"She's coming back but I got a crazy idea." Aizen said.
Aldsan's sand destroyed the remaining part of the wall in the building and walked in to see Aizen carrying Sasori and throwing him right into Aldsan.
Sasori spun and opened his palms pushing on Aldsans' face and with the built-in flamethrower on the left hand it opened and shot right into Aldsans' face.
Aldsan tried to scream but Sasori's right hand stayed on her throat till her entire head was scorched and nothing but a skeleton.
Sasori pushed her corpse back into her own sand and Sasori leaned against the wall taking a breather.
"So why throw me?" Sasori asked.
"She got confused." Aizen said.
"I'm pretty sure if I just jumped at her it could have worked too." Sasori said.
Aizen just smirked.
"Have a bit of fun now." Aizen said.
Sasori rolled his eyes and leaned off the wall.
The two looked out the window seeing guards running around and some explosions heard in the distance.
"That's our cue to hurry." Aizen said to him.
The two left out the back and headed through the alleyway toward Karura's castle.
Suddenly they were met by over thirty guards that ran through the alleyway at them with swords.
Sasori and Aizen immediately ran the other way.
"Shit!" Sasori shouted.
The two ran and jumped over things to get away.
"We can lose them at the zoo!" Aizen shouted.
"Why do I got the feeling you are going to free the animals!" Sasori shouted.
The two ran out in the public street and toward the small zoo. Aizen and Sasori with their blades sliced down the locks and forced the cages open to where some of the animals attacked the guards.
They kept running not looking back and jumping over fences and barrels to head back toward the castle.
"How many are behind us?" Aizen asked.
Sasori looked back to see ten guards.
"Ten." Sasori said.
"Okay let's finish it." Aizen said.
Right as they turned around there were now ten more guards jumping from behind them.
"Behind us!" Aizen yelled.
Both of them got back to back.
"Remind me to teach you how to go stealth!" Sasori shouted making Aizen roll his eyes.
Meanwhile, at the battlefield, airships in the sky were ripping to shreds from both sides and soldiers on the ground were dying from both sides.
"We need to press on! Don't move back!" Nnoitra shouted at some soldiers and ran first with those soldiers following behind.
Hidan was nearby slicing up some soldiers with his scythe and noticed Jessica and Ulquiorra run up with their division of soldiers.
"Oh good, you are okay!" Hidan said.
"Where is Aizen?" Jessica asked.
"Probably inside by now." Hidan said looking toward Ardougne.
Above them, an airship began to fall down and they quickly ran out of the way before it crashed on them.
"I need to get into Ardougne." Jessica said.
"Jess we are in a war right now." Hidan said.
"It's what I been telling her." Ulquiorra said.
Jessica frowned but nodded understanding.
"Good now come on we can try to press on." Hidan said.
Jessica twirled her rapier and looked at the two of them with another nod.
"Let's do this." Hidan said and they all ran further into the battle.
The battlefield was littered with bodies, arrows, swords, and chunks of airship debris and flames from debris scattering the land.
