Chapter 4:
As the battle was going on, Jessica watched as everyone was fighting and not paying attention to her and she ran passed some of the battle before slicing down two enemies coming toward her and kept going toward Ardougne while quickly jumping from a hill and down it to head around and sneak into Ardougne.
Meanwhile, in the skies, Tousen was commanding forces from his linkpearl.
"Move the right platoons up ahead then. Leave the left platoon to hold that position they are in." Tousen said.
Suddenly he noticed one of the enemy airships looming behind the others.
"That's their command vessel." Tousen said to Stork.
Stork looked on and nodded.
"Everyone ready?" Stork asked.
A few men ran out to the Condor's deck and operated the steampunk artillery and were prepared.
Stork flew the Condor straight through the enemy lines and right at their commanding airship.
Zeear who was the commanding officer on that airship commanded the airships around her to make a blockade of cannon fire.
A few cannonballs and railgun bullets along with fire missiles hit along the Condor but the Condor kept going and headed straight at the main enemy airship.
"Keep firing!" Zeear shouted.
Yet it was too late and the Condor flew quickly under her airship and Tousen threw up one of Deidara's bombs that detonated once landing on the floor of the enemy airship, destroying Zeear and her soldiers in the process.
Hidan ran from the incoming crash from the enemy command ship and looked around noticing Jessica in the distance trying to find a way into Ardougne.
"Oh, you got to be shitting me." Hidan said and ran toward her direction.
Jessica found some tall trees and climbed them and then leaped onto the wall and climbed over.
Hidan doing the same thing leaped down behind her and startled her to raise her blade but quickly lowering it.
"Look if you want to find him fine but don't go at it alone." Hidan said.
"You aren't mad?" Jessica asked.
"Pissed off yeah that you won't help us in the main battle but we are here now and perhaps we can do some damage from within. Let's head to that castle, wherever it is." Hidan said.
"I know where it is." Jessica said.
Jessica and Hidan sneaked carefully toward the castle.
"How do you know where the castle is?" Hidan asked.
"Last night I sort of came here." Jessica said.
"Jessica, was you going to betray us?" Hidan asked.
"I just got so mad okay?" Jessica said looking at him.
Hidan looked back and rolled his eyes with a 'tsk'.
"Come on we can talk about it later. For now, let's help Aizen." Hidan said.
The two took down two soldiers that weren't looking and quickly ran to the front of the castle only to see dead guards scattered.
"Aizen." Hidan remarked.
They walked into the open doors of the castle to find Sasori sitting on the ground fixing his arm.
"What happened?" Jessica asked rushing over to help.
"We took out some soldiers and a few of them ganged up on me and ruined my left arm here. He said he's going on ahead and I told him I'd be right behind him." Sasori said.
"Come on let's get you somewhere safer to fix yourself." Jessica said.
Hidan and Jessica helped him up and put him to the corner.
"Just a moment and my repairs will be done." Sasori said.
Suddenly they heard footsteps in the hallway and walking up was Nihl.
Hidan rose his scythe up and Jessica rose her rapier up.
Nihl unhooked a long hilt of sorts made of what looked like coral and there was a silver button attached to it on the hilt.
Nihl pushed the button and what came out was a red plasma blade.
"That's a plasma blade, Hidan you can't counter it with your scythe." Sasori said.
Hidan lowered his weapon while Jessica kept her rapier up.
Jessica coated her rapier in her magic to resist the plasma and headed toward Nihl.
"You two hurry and help Aizen. I can deal with this." Jessica said.
Hidan and Sasori frowned but had no other choice and went the other way while Jessica stared down Nihl who stared back.
Nihl ran toward her and both of them clashed blades and at the same time Jessica shot out two magical blasts into Nihls' face which knocked him back a few feet but he charged back at her with fierce swings as his movements was that of a dragoon in fighting style.
Jessica spun her rapier rapidly to block each incoming attack and then swung her foot kicking the long handle and nearly was able to stab Nihl but Nihl was too quickly and moved away from her blade before raising his blade up to knock hers away and the two carried on their close-combat strikes.
Nihl suddenly grabbed Jessica's throat and with a force ability, he force pushed her right into the wall and did it again through the wall into the other room which was the meeting room.
Jessica spit out some blood and right as she got up Nihl used the force to bring down bits of the ceiling down on top of her.
Jessica wiggled herself out quickly, bruised up and bleeding in certain spots on her body.
"That all you got?" Jessica asked.
Nihl threw his lightsaber, guiding it with the force to strike her from a distance and she with her magic slowed its movement down to where she grabbed it to his surprise.
Jessica tried to swing it at him but he was using the force to bring it back to him and the blade suddenly deactivated while he was struggling to bring it to his hand.
Jessica kept holding onto it while being dragged toward him.
Nihl grabbed the hilt of his weapon with a grin.
Jessica noticed the emitter, however, was aimed at him and she quickly pushed the button which ignited the lightsaber blade right through his mouth out the back of his skull.
Nihl's body fell over the lightsaber deactivated yet again.
Jessica wiped her bloody face and limped painfully up the stairs to find Aizen.
Sasori and Hidan were on the next floor fighting off guards and trying to evade guards with arrows.
Jessica sighed and cast her spells to shoot out electric blasts into two of the archers and stayed behind Sasori and Hidan to attack with long-range attacks.
Meanwhile, on the battlefield, Varrock forces were pressing on pushing the Kandarin Kingdom forces back.
Jeh roared and ran toward Ulquiorra with his large lava mace but before he could reach him he was blasted by Ulquiorra's Cero that went through Jeh's body making a hole and breaking what was left of his body into pieces to the ground.
Havok stood at the gates seeing how they were losing the battle and growled walking out alone.
Havok yanked out a hilt that looked made of coral and pushed a button that activated a plasma beam.
Ulquiorra noticed Havok approaching and suddenly a force ability known as force push gusted a few soldiers and knocked Ulquiorra off into a tree.
Havok spun his blade and suddenly was shot by a few arrow bolts until being stabbed through his body by Harribel and her blade ripping through him while Zangei was nearby who shot from his crossbow to get Havok's attention.
Havok grunted painfully and fell to the ground lifeless.
"Push through the gates!" Harribel shouted.
Varrock soldiers rushed through as the airships blasted their way through the sky armada and above Ardougne.
"We got inside the capital, now we can rain some bombardment!" Tousen shouted.
Their airships began to bombard the northside with cannon fire from the airships while most of the soldiers ran down south of the city to attack any remaining Ardougne soldier.
Jessica heard the explosions and looked out the window.
"You guys I think we are winning!" Jessica shouted to them.
Hidan finished killing the last soldier and cheered.
"I wonder where Aizen is though?" Sasori asked walking down from the third story of the castle.
"Did you find him?" Hidan asked.
"No, but I see some sort of rope that was cut off that attached from this castle to the western part of Ardougne, toward the expanse." Sasori said.
The three of them looked west at the expansion of the city that was being built but put on hold for this war.
Suddenly it began to rain.
Sasori looked up at the sky.
"We should hurry and see if Ardougne is now ours." Sasori said.
"I hope Aizen is okay." Jessica said softly.
Hidan and Sasori patted her shoulders and walked with her out of the castle.
