I couldn't imagine what Theodore wanted. Maybe it was because of all the rumors. He probably just wanted to clarify things. Or maybe talk about the homework due, whatever the case I felt slightly exhilarated and I wasn't sure why. I packed up my books and went and placed them in my room. I ran a comb through my hair and spritzed perfume on my neck. It smelled like lavender and vanilla and I loved it. As I was about to walk out the door, a sudden fear stopped. Why was he asking me to meet him? There was actually no reason. I debated not going, but my curiosity got the better of me. I took off to the seventh floor corridor, for the second time today. This time hoping not to be caught.

I decided it would be best to take the back hallways and stairways to the seventh floor. This would draw less attention. As I walked I pleaded in my head hoping this wasn't some cruel joke that would leave me embarrassed. I hoped he would actually be there. When I turned the corner towards the northeast corridor, I saw him. At the faint sound of the patter of my hoes against the cold stone he looked up. A smile grew to his face, and he started towards me.

As we both grew closer, something seemed off about his smile but I ignored the thought when I was face to face with him.

"I didn't think you would come." He said sheepishly, looking down. I noticed here he slightly resembled that of a rabbit, but something about him was also charming and even attractive.

"I thought about it" I admitted. "But I let my curiosity get the better of me. So why did you ask me to meet you?"

"Well," he rubbed the back of his neck, "I wanted to.." he stopped, and looked into my eyes and then back down. "I wanted to see if you would go with me to Hogsmead on Saturday."

"What?" I was confused as to why he was asking me this, as all Hogwarts students third year and over went to Hogsmead.

He looked down again, resembling a sad rabbit again. "This Saturday it is the festival of moons, and Hogsmead is having a celebration, and everyone brings a date, and I was hoping you would be mind." He looked back up.

Shocked I stuttered, "S-sure."

He looked relieved and the confidence that had faded completely came back. It was here I noticed that his confidence is what made him attractive, when he became insecure and unsure is when he looked like a sad rabbit.

Stop thinking of him like that, Astoria, that's rude. I thought to myself.

"Why me?" I asked. "We have never spoken that much."

"I am not sure. Something today in McGonagall's class just clicked. You're beautiful, you've always been beautiful, but today I saw a different side. Your flustered, flushed face was just a whole new kind of beautiful. Not to mention the way you told off your sister this morning was quite impressive. You are not what you seem Astoria, and I want to get to know you."

I could feel myself blush, and at the blush, he smirked. I shook my head, and flusteredly asked, "why did you ask me here, why not in a normal place?"

He smirked even more. "Well, you're not blind to the rumors that have started just from our encounter in class today. I don't want to encourage any more talk, so I decided to ask you privately. Also so I could at least escape the public humiliation if you said no. I'm still shocked you said yes."

"You thought I would say no?"

"Yes, I didn't think I would even stand a chance. You are so beautiful, inside and out."

Something felt weird about the whole conversation, he was being sweet but this all came out of nowhere. Something seemed off, it was like he said all the right things but something much darker stood behind his arrogant smirk. I shook the thought off, I was being paranoid.

"Someone's coming." he pulled me into an alcove and we hid behind a pillar.

Draco walked down the corridor, looking over his shoulder to make sure he was alone. He stopped at a blank wall and then instantly, the wall transformed into a door and he walked inside. Soon the door disappeared back into the wall.

"Did he see us?" Theodore asked.

"I don't think so," I responded still staring at the transforming wall

"We better get out of here before we get caught". He said and then started down the corridor. When I didn't move he turned back. "Are you coming?"

I turned to him. "Yes, but I think it is better if we go separately, so we don't get caught." He nodded and went on.

I waited for a while before leaving. As I crept out of the alcove the wall transformed into a door. I froze, I was in the middle of a corridor and there was nowhere for me to hide. I was stuck. I looked up to meet the gaze of Draco walking out of the transforming door-wall thing. His expression was a mix of something shocked and slightly unreadable.

I don't think I was supposed to see that.
