Chapter 5:

Aizen was chasing Karura and while doing so Karura kept shooting lightning out toward him while laughing.

"Stop and fight like a ruler you coward!" Aizen shouted.

"Away from your people! Let's see how well you do without them!" Karura shouted back.

They both ran to the Arandar hills and as the rain began to fall, Karura stopped and turned around making Aizen stop.

Karura looked passed Aizen at Ardougne in the distance.

Aizen looked back and then back to her.

"It's over." Aizen said.

Karura just smirked at him not saying a word but unsheathing a small blade which was known as a grasscutter sword.

Aizen pulled out his sword and readied himself while Karura held her short grasscutter sword in her right hand twirling it slowly.

The rain fell upon Aizen and Karura.

Both suddenly ran toward one another and swung their blades clashing against the others making sparks from each blade clash.

Karura sent a wave of lightning from her palm toward Aizen who got shocked but kept fighting on which surprised Karura while she clashed her blade against his yet again.

Suddenly she swung at Aizen but it went through him and remembered his illusion ability and quickly spun around to block the incoming sneak attack.

Karura pushed him away with her blade shoved against his and to his surprise, her eyes shut and re-opened awakening the Rinnegan but this Rinnegan wasn't like Pains but instead, it was a shade of red with Sharingan Tomoe seen in the middle around the pupil.

"How the hell did you receive those?" Aizen asked gritting his teeth.

"A year I did some experiments and I saw your two friends, Pain and Itachi. I thought why not research those Kekkai Genkai for myself. I only activated these twice now, the first time for training and now to defeat you." Karura said.

Karura looked like she was in pain while having them activated as if still trying to get used to the power.

"Now nothing can escape my vision." Karura said grinning at him.

Aizen ran at her again and swung his blade left to right while she easily evaded the swings without even blocking with her blade and then swung her blade horizontally cutting him across the chest as she saw an opening.

Aizen grunted and continued his attack but felt his body starting to feel tired.

He knew it was her power that was slowly taking away his energy while being in her presence and knew he had to hurry. But he also knew since Karura was still getting used to the power that she was also weak.

Aizen immediately disappeared from her view and with his reiatsu speed, he swung his blade toward her shoulder which cut through but at the same time she lifted her foot and kicked him straight in the stomach with a powerful force to knock him into the water puddles.

Now it was a downpour of rain.

Aizen ran at Karura and both clashed their blades at one another, both using their abilities at the same time while Karura's, however, was painful for her to get used too she still pressed on regardless of the pain.

Karura suddenly began to spark lightning from her body that zapped Aizen painfully while he was close to her.

Aizen knew he had to hurry to finish the fight as she was now overpowering him but also hurting herself in the process of using this power while she hasn't fully adjusted to it yet.

Karura and Aizen clashed a few more times and then both spun their bodies at the same time sending their feet to kick at each other twice before leaping back and then running and at the same time punching each other's fists before again resorting back to their sword attacks.

Karura had a ball of lightning in her left hand and shot it toward Aizen who in her surprise caught it with a spell of his own to absorb the elements and raised his reiatsu to make her feel pressure in her muscles but she ignored it and pushed on.

Suddenly Aizen felt the sharp pain yet again from her lightning coming from her body that zapped him in the chest again and again.

Aizen knew he had to reveal his true power.

"Hado number ninety! Kurohitsugi!" Aizen shouted chanting the spell.

Karura's eyes widened.

"A Hado ability..." Karura said to herself.

Suddenly a black spiritual coffin risen out of nowhere around Karura and sealed her inside and then torrents of gravity hit her non-stop from within with spear protrusions going inside rapidly from all directions. Then the black square disappears and Karura stands there motionless until blood squirts from different parts of her body and fell down onto the water puddle below her which turned red from her blood.

Aizen slowly walked toward her with his blade ready.

Aizen had a flashback.

A young kid Aizen was playing with a ball and kicking it toward a young kid Karura. Near them was Furido, Fuen, and Fudo who was talking to a few other children and one being Fuka.

"Think we will find shelter for the winter freeze tonight?" Karura asked Aizen.

"I hope so. Furido knows where we can go." Aizen said.

Karura looked around at the five other kids nearby and then back to Aizen.

"Think they will find us parents?" Karura asked.

"I thought they were like parents. Furido like a dad, Fudo and Fuen like aunt and uncle." Aizen said with a shrug.

"Oh come on, Furido can at least be our grandpa." Karura chuckled.

Aizen just laughed back.

Aizen kicked the back again toward her and sighed.

"What's wrong?" Karura asked.

"I just hope I don't let power get to my head." Aizen said.

Karura tilted her head.

"What's wrong with having too much power?" Karura asked confused.

"Letting power get to the mind before doing the right thing." Aizen said.

Karura cornered her mouth looking at him with a worried look.

"Promise me if I ever trail off to push me back on the right path?" Aizen asked her.

"Promise- but the same goes for you too!" Karura said throwing him the ball.

Aizen caught it nodding.

"One day I hope I can rule this planet. Then I can stop starvation and abandonment." Aizen said.

"Can I help you rule?" Karura asked.

"Of course! You are like a sister after all, so me the King and you the Queen." Aizen said with his thumb up.

Karura smirked at him.

"First mister King you have to try tapioca. No buts! You have to!" Karura said.

Aizen sighed but shrugged.

"Fine." Aizen said.

"Alright, kids it's time we head off to find that wood!" Furido shouted to them.

Furido walked up to Aizen and Karura smiling at them.

"Come on you two, best we get going. Cold night tonight." Furido said.

Karura ran off to talk with Fuka while Aizen and Furido walked together at the back of the group.

"Think one day we will stop the chaos on this planet?" Aizen asked Furido.

"My boy, I am sure my plans will help us achieve pure and total control so that there are no more wars or famine. I promise." Furido said patting his head with a laugh.

"Thanks." Aizen said.

"No problem my boy. No problem." Furido said.

The flashback ended.

Aizen put his blade to Karura's neck while she laid there looking at him.

"Do it." Karura said.

Aizen then stabbed the blade beside her and knelt down holding onto the bottom of the hilt.

The rain was pouring lightly now.

"You lost. All of Kandarin is mine, every single town, and village, every single hill, and mountain." Aizen said.

Karura didn't say anything but just kept looking at him.

Karura's eyes were back to her normal magenta-colored iris'.

Aizen went into his belt pouch and pulled out one vial of potion and in fact dumped it over her body to cover her frontal wounds.

"Now get out of my territory when you can move." Aizen said.

"Why help me..." Karura asked softly before he moved away from her.

"Because you told me if I let power get to my head to bring me back to the right path, and you told me to do the same for you. I am doing what we promised one another when we were kids." Aizen said.

"You fool..." Karura growled.

"I will give you time to move on your own." Aizen said walking off back to Ardougne.

Karura slowly sat up.

"You know leaving me alive is your biggest mistake." Karura said.

"Perhaps." Aizen said and stopped walking.

"But your death isn't in my plans. Now the road is open to Tirannwn Region. The final region of our planet to the west of here." Aizen said.

Aizen looked back at her and then looked toward the west with a frown, he knew though it would be the biggest challenge yet.
