A/N- I got such an outpouring of support for more chapters with more Jack and family that I decided to touch on some important mile stones in the 12 years before Jack presenting. I've also bumped back Grace's age back to age 15, I realized 16 was too old in comparison to her little brother. There will be more of the family as well.

Thank you for waiting until I felt good enough to start writing again.

After the Cabin

Two days after Jack entered the world, Molly Novak was born to Spencer and Scotty. It was natural for the two mothers to spend a lot of time at each other's houses while their men were at work. With children the same ages, Jack and Molly were more like siblings much like Grace and Alex.

Dean took a cue from Scotty and became a stay-at-home mom to devote his full attention to baby Jack and Grace. It caused the family some financial strain, so when Prendi, the former assistant to Barbara Leech and now publisher of Amazonian Publishing, showed up at their door with an offer to do an interview with Cas and Dean along with a photo spread of the family, including the new addition, Castiel grudgingly agreed since a new baby on a teacher's salary was tough to say the least.

There was an upside to his Omega choosing to be a stay at home mom, the thought of Dean tending to their children and cooking their meals kept Castiel in a state of arousal, there was nothing sexier than a hot young Omega doing his wifely duties in and outside of the bedroom. Not that he'd ever reveal his feelings to Dean on how truly hot it was to him for his Omega play the traditional Omega role. Cas wasn't willing to risk the closure of the candy factory. All Dean needed to know was they were going to fuck, hard, almost every single night.

The Gang

The Toddler Gang, consisting of Grace, Alex, Adam, Beau and Angie and even Isabelle, Terry and Sal's daughter, had stayed close, bonded by various family secrets and true friendship and affection.

As they moved up grade by grade, they had each other's backs no matter what. Grace naturally took the role as leader and mother hen of the group, Alex was the affable buddy to all and well liked by his classmates, Adam was a hyper kid and his parents kept him active in sports to work off his excess energy, Beau was a natural charmer just like his dad and Angie was a girly girl. As for Isabelle, she was the second toughest of the bunch, right after Grace and the two girls bonded over their like minded outlook on the world.

As they hit puberty one by one, Beau revealed himself as Beta, Alex an Alpha, Adam a Beta and Angie and Isabelle were simply female and damn proud of it.

Grace was a whole other deal. After getting her first period at the tender age of eleven, the girl's personality became more pronounced. Never a wallflower, Grace became more aggressive and opinionated. She tended to jump into fights with any classmate she viewed as a jerk, especially bullies, to defend anyone weaker than the bully in question. There were plenty of trips to the principal's office that first year after taking her first step into womanhood.

Castiel chalked it up to Grace just being a female since he had little personal experience with the fairer sex. Dean figured Grace was just being Grace and saw her aggressive sense of justice as his daughter being a chip off the old block.

Jack thought she was a real jerk sometimes and he told her so. He also complained about her used maxi pads in the shared bathroom garbage or the occasional tampon clogging up the toilet. Sometimes Grace teased her little brother until he felt like punching her in one of her ample breasts, but the girl was built like an Amazon and he was still a scrawny kid. In the end though, Jack knew his big sister was always been his biggest defender and would fight tooth and nail to keep her baby brother safe.

Dean tried to stay out of the sibling squabbles, their interactions reminded him of his time growing up with Sam. The bark was always worse than the bite and if one of the kids felt sad or hurt in anyway, the other was there to bolster their sibling and offer a hug.

Castiel grew concerned for his daughter, comparing her to other girls in the classes he taught. None were as aggressive and outspoken as Grace. At times he worried for his daughter's safety. What if she jumped into the wrong fight or told off someone stronger than her, someone with no self control.

During her yearly physical he shared his concerns with the doctor who then ordered tests done on Grace which revealed she was the rarest kind of female, one with a genetic touch of Alpha.

When her grandfather, Spencer found out, he had an explanation for both Grace and her confused parents. The Novak side of the family had a recessive gene which reared up in the occasional female member every few generations. Yes, it was rare but was absolutely no matter for concern. The family embraced Gracie just as she was and felt it made the girl even more special than she already was.

Grace was happy to find out she was different from most other girls since she viewed many of them as lame and boring. This, coupled with her ability to sense the supernatural set her apart from all the rest.

Sam

Sam surprised everyone by first, bringing a female to Senior Prom and secondly by his decision to go to medical school. He earned a scholarship to Stanford and his big brother and adoptive parents couldn't have been prouder of him. He made a point of spending part of his summers back home to see his mom and dad and siblings. It was a far cry from the motherless, rough, nomadic life he was born into.

There will be more of Sam's life to come.

Back to Jack, 12 years old

Life hadn't always been easy for Jack Novak. Physically, he took after his father and was a very slim, small child who physically matured slower than his classmates. Jack was a bit socially awkward but academically miles ahead of the other children, once again taking after his father. Castiel especially related to Jack as he saw himself in his son. Unlike Spencer who worked hard and had little time for Castiel when he was a child, leaving most of the childrearing to his mother, Castiel made sure to be very present in every aspect of Jack's life.

This turned out to be a very good thing, especially now the boy was standing next to his parent's bed with bare thighs wet with blood and slick after going through the trauma of his membrane tearing open.

The pain Jack felt was especially intense as his long hidden organs were shifting into their permanent places in excruciating slow motion which would take several days. Nature made them this way for one important reason, so there could be no chance of pregnancy during this important time and it wouldn't be until Omegas true first heat before that could happen. It gave the Omega time to adjust to their new status both mentally and physically.

None of that mattered to Jack; his brain was beyond reasoning out why he felt this way, all he knew was in no time in his short life had he felt this miserable or scared. Everything Jack had learned in sex ed. flew right out the window. At that moment he was felt like the only person on the face of the earth currently going through this and he needed his father to get him through.

Castiel went to his son, placing a hand lightly on one of Jack's shoulders and noticed the boy shivering.

….

Dean snapped a photo of Grace with her face stuck through a hole in a sheet of plywood with scarecrow bodies painted beneath. She called out cheerily, "How do I look, mom?"

Dean gave her thumbs up, "fantastic, you missed your calling as a scarecrow."

One of the young men manning the elaborate farm stand strolled past the buxom teenager and flashed her a flirty smile. Grace immediately turned the color of a ripe cherry.

Dean noticed the flirtatious guy and his daughter's reaction, "poor kid…she has no idea what to do with all that bodacious body and beautiful face...and I'm damn happy about it…"

He sent the photo of Grace to Castiel with a message, "Stopped to get cherry pie and found this awesome scarecrow, can I bring her home with me?"

When Cas read the message from Dean along with the photo, he wished more than anything they were home, especially now.

"Only if she's housebroken. I miss you, hurry home."

….

Castiel stripped the stained sheets of Jack's bed and replaced them with fresh linens. He then doubled up two beach towels and laid them on the center of the fresh bottom sheet then went to get Jack and put him back in bed.

They didn't have the proper supplies for Jack on hand; even Grace's maxi pads wouldn't have helped. They were neither cut correctly nor heavy duty enough to catch the leakage and blood from a newly minted Omega boy.

Jack looked up at his dad with red rimmed eyes filled with misery, "I think I'm dying."

"No, you're not dying…far from it, Jack you're at your most vital. I'm so sorry you have to go through all this, if I could take the pain for you I'd do it in a heartbeat." Castiel sat on the edge of the mattress and ran his hand across his son's sweaty forehead, "I should call your mother and…"

"No. You know mom, he'll speed all the way here and then I'll worry about him and Grace."

"Your grandmother then?"

"No, it's better he doesn't know quite yet. I don't think I could handle all the attention."

Just then Castiel's ringtone for Dean went off; it was "When I See You Smile" by Bad English. The Alpha forgot all about Jack for just a moment, he missed Dean terribly and hoped it was a message his love was pushing right through with no stopping.

"How is my boy? I had a feeling about him, is everything ok?"

"Jack is fine. Enjoy your travels home with Grace. Just wondering, when do you think you'll be back?"

Dean answered, "Going to stay at a motel tonight and we will push through tomorrow but won't get home until pretty late."

Castiel's tongue darted out, wetting his dry lips as he decided how to answer.

"Fine, darling. Pick up a treat for Jack on your way home."

"Already done, I bought him some fudge at the farm stand."

"I love you both with all my heart."

"Right back at you and Jack."

Castiel knew what to do next, take another embarrassing trip to the pharmacy. He should have been used to it by now; somehow he seemed to be the one to pick up Dean and Grace's intimate supplies on his way home from work but the Alpha always felt out of place in those particular aisles. The chances of running into another Alpha doing the same were slim to none.

But then Castiel was not a typical Alpha.
