Dean handed a cup of coffee to the blue eyed guy with the wonky tie and hands clasped tightly in front of him. His husband and soul mate, the man he was just a few hours before willing to leave just so he could clear his head. The sight of Castiel so deeply worried for their daughter touched the Omega right in heart and the ice began to melt.
"I put in a shot of cream just how you like it. It's not actually cream though, it was some kind of powdered crap so drink at your own risk."
The day had been a hard one for the Alpha, first Dean's explosion after meeting Renee and now their first born ending up in the hospital.
When Castiel looked up at his wife he was relieved to see the anger gone, replaced by tenderness. Cas didn't know if he could handle Dean still upset with him at this point. Some days, life felt overwhelming. He was the Alpha, the provider and the one who needed to keep a level head in order to guide his family through this uncertain world. Today was one of those days.
This small gesture of kindness meant everything to Castiel.
"Thank you my kitten."
"You haven't called me that in a long time."
"I should call you that more often. You are my kitten after all."
Dean sat down next to Cas, pressing his knee against his husbands.
Cas wanted to hold Dean's hand but decided not to push it. When Dean reached over and smoothed an errant lock of hair from Cas' forehead they both turned and smiled at one another.
Grace had a mild concussion and the doctor was sending her home with a list of instructions for her parents.
She was going to be ok along with Castiel and Dean.
…
Dean gave Grace something for the pain then fussed with her bedding, making sure she was tucked in.
"What you did was stupid."
"I know but you would have done the same for Sam. You would protect him and settle a score for your little brother."
"Well you got me there, I would have done the same thing but it still would have been stupid."
Grace watched as her mother's pretty eyes filled with tears and as one spilled down his cheek, she reached up and caught it on her finger.
"Don't cry, Mom. I'm sorry I went off half-cocked. Should I try to be more like Dad and less like you?" She gave him a grin.
"No, Jack's got that covered just fine. You're genetically predisposed to take after me. Sorry about that. So do I have to worry about a lawsuit from that little dick's parents?"
"I doubt it. No Alpha wants to admit they got their ass kicked by a girl and besides, Izzy went back in and put the fear of the devil in him."
"Don't you mean god?"
"God, the Devil, put 'em in a bag and shake 'em up and they all come out the same."
…..
Alfie had on his one good tunic; it was black, silky and reached the tops of his feet and had embroidery down each side of the deep slit below the neck which exposed a nice bit of skin.
Bello's Bistro was way out of their budget but Sam insisted on taking him there. Most of the conversation centered on the baby during their meal. It was all Alfie had on his mind lately.
He'd started to show at four months and to say Sam loved his little breasts and expanding belly was an understatement. It made the Omega feel more secure considering all the new changes to his body. Sam always made him feel beautiful and worthy. He counted himself lucky to have a man like Sam Winchester.
Over dessert of chocolate cake and fresh berries, Sam made his move. He took the ring box from his coat pocket, set it on the table between them and opened it.
"Marry me."
Alfie lit up like a Christmas tree. He smiled, exposing all the cake stuck to his teeth. He stuck out his left hand and wiggled his fingers.
"Yes!"
Sam slipped the engagement ring onto his mate's finger then kissed his hand.
A few minutes later, Salvatore came out and announced their engagement to everyone in the restaurant and applause broke out for the young couple. Terry took pictures of the momentous occasion, just as Sam had asked.
Sam wanted this night be everything his Omega could have ever dreamed of, barring a trip to Paris and proposing near the Eiffel Tower.
Now to tell the family and hope they wouldn't go overboard. Sam braced himself for the inevitable.
…..
What started out as a regular family gathering and barbeque at Spencer and Scotty's home turned into to something else entirely when Sam announced their engagement.
At least it was a good version of going overboard. Immediately Scotty offered his full services as an elder Omega in the know about such things as marriage and babies.
As the evening wound down, Alfie found himself in the kitchen with Dean and Scotty. The two Omegas had devious smiles on their faces and kept nudging each other and occasionally giggling. It was most disconcerting.
Dean braced his arms on either side of the counter, trapping the much smaller Omega. His breath smelled of beer and brownies and Alfie noted it was kinda nice.
Dean's words came out a little slurred, "Ever been to Magnum?"
Scotty closed his eyes, bit his bottom lip and let out a little moan.
Alfie stammered, "M-magnum?"
Now Dean's lips were practically touching his ear, "A place for Omegas to cut loose. Booze, awesome food and the best part, the hottest pieces of Alpha ass you've ever laid eyes on.
Scotty added, "Its full monty, just big cocks and full balls flopping around. All sorts of men, cut, uncut, shaved, groomed or full bush, pretty boys and muscle hunks, hot nerds, seriously, they've got it all."
Dean backed away and took another swig from his beer bottle then pointed it at Alfie. "The best parts are the lap dances."
Alfie wrinkled his nose at the thought, "No way am I letting some sweaty stranger sit on my lap and squish me and my baby."
The two big Omegas glanced at each other before they broke out laughing.
Scotty smiled down at him like some sort of benevolent goddess, "Oh, little one, you don't understand. You sit on the strippers lap. Trust me; you will have a fabulous time."
