Prt 2/6

I can sort of read writing but I can't seem to understand what the box says on it. I pick up the box on both sides then turn it around to see if anything's on it. Again, I can't really read any of it. I tip the top of the box over so I can see inside it. Just a bunch of cereal bits inside, nothing special. Hmm... cereal. Maybe I should make myself some food for breakfast. Mary isn't here right now to make me anything, plus I'm a bit hungry too, so...

- Ah, what am I saying? This is an emergency! I don't have time to make myself food right now! I put the cereal box down on the side of the table and turn around to hop down to the chair. Just as I turn around though, I feel my tail bump into something, and I then hear the sound of something begin to pour out of a container, followed next by a loud "Blap!" on the ground behind me.

"Oooohh no..."

I slowly turn my head back around at where I placed the cereal box at. It's gone. I then slowly look down towards the ground, already knowing what to expect. Yikes... A mess of the cereal's inners were scattered all over the place on the ground with the box itself. Oh dear... I turn my head back to the chair and hop down onto it then onto the floor. Well, maybe it just looked bad because I was up high. I turn to look at the mess of cereal that was on the ground. Nope. It's still bad. I stood there looking at the mess for a while, thinking of how I should clean it up. And then it came to me.

"Aha! I got it!"

I slowly start to step carefully around the cereal on the ground, then quickly start to head towards the exit of the kitchen to the hallway. When I get there, I then head to the TV room at the end of the hallway, then I start searching around for what I'm looking for. In here, from what I remember yesterday, there was a vacuum cleaner. It can make picking up lots of small things easier, if the noise doesn't scare me too much that is. I climb on to the couch in the TV room, looking around for the vacuum. Then I turn around and start to look into the living room. I can't seem to find it. Did they put it away? They might have stored it in Mary's sister's room, but... I'm not allowed in there. Well then again, I wasn't allowed on the table either, and I already did that, so...

Welp, desperate times call for desperate measures. I think that's how you say it anyway. I hop down from the couch and quickly run into the hallway to the back end where Marry and her sister's room is. I stood there in front of her older sister's room, glaring at it silently. This suddenly feels like a bad idea now. Mary's sister, Leanna.

Leanna isn't a mean person, not by much actually. In fact, she seems pretty nice and ok when it comes to allot of things. As long as it doesn't end up with something burning on fire, I guess. Buuut, going into Leanna's room? This feels like I'm crossing the line now. But, I don't want to leave that mess in the kitchen either so...

"Hmh. Ok." I say to myself. "I'm just going to go in, then out. Nothing more."

I walk up to the door, reach for the door knob up high, turn it, then slowly push the door open. When it slowly opened, I could then see a dark room with a big bed in the center of it against the back wall. I stood there at the door frame silently staring at the bed in the dark with the door slightly open. I... can't do it. I'm not allowed in there, and plus if I ever got caught, I could get in trouble too. I slowly step away from the room while pulling on the door knob to close it. I shut it tight as I then let go of the knob and glare at it silently again. Maybe... the vacuum cleaner isn't in there. Maybe I can find something else to clean the mess.

I walk back to the living room to check again to see if there's anything that can be used to clean the mess with. While looking around, my eyes are then suddenly drawn to the bottom of the front door. Hold on... There's no shoes there. Usually when Marry and Leanna are home, they leave their shoes at the front door. Leanna, of course, probably already left to go to her work place. But Mary's... they're not here either. So that means - !

I quickly run up to the front door and jump up to grab the door knob. I grab onto it then turn it to open the door. If Mary left the house then maybe she went to go visit one of her friends or something. Or maybe she went to that food place they would sometimes go to hangout at. OR maybe she went to the woods for HER job! As I pull the door open, a cold breeze of the outside air rushes into the house. I let go of the door and run around it to look outside.

"Oh... Wait..."

Rain poured heavily from above as the dark clouds continued to block out the sun and the sky. I forgot. It's still raining outside. I can't go out there, the weather would be so harsh that I would pass out before I even make it to the Pokémon Center from here. I step away from the doorframe and push the door shut in front of me.

"Hmm..."

There has to be something else I can do. I turn around and look down the hallway. Wait a minute. I didn't look for any clues in Mary's room yet. I walk down to the end of the hallway and into Mary's room to the right and started looking around for anything suspicious. Her purse. She always brings that where ever she goes. If she left, then why didn't she bring that with her? I walk up to her purse by the side of her bed and open it up. Looking inside, I find a few things in there like her wallet, two empty Poké Balls, her Pokédex, and... her phone! I pull out her phone from the bottom of her purse. The black, flat rectangular surface of it reflected my face from just looking at it. But now to turn it on. I flipped the phone over to look at the back of it for any buttons. Then I looked at the phone's side as well. Ah, here we are. A button! I pressed the button down and the front screen then lit up in my hands. I flipped it back over and it showed a picture of Mary and I both smiling at that food place she would bring me at when she would hangout with her friends. The phone even told the time on it as well, just like Mary's alarm clock.

Ok. Now what can I do with this? ...Wait a minute, this is a phone! I can call people with it! I tap the front screen to try and get it to call someone. Nothing happened. Oh wait. I press down on the screen and then slid up on it. The screen then changed the picture on it to a picture of me with a top hat and a black cape while I held a wand with fire on the end of it in my hand. Oh man, I remember this! Mary helped me choose a costume for Halloween and I chose to be a magician. I felt like I had more control over my fire with that costume. Other button looking icons sat on top of the picture with the phone telling me the time again on the top. Ok, here we go. Now one of these should call someone. I stare at the bright screen for a bit, looking at the icons, trying to figure out which one would call people. Why can't these buttons just be straight forward, like a button that says "call people" on it instead of having all of these other fancy buttons? Wait... call... phone. There was an icon with a picture of what kinda looked like an old phone on it with then words underneath that said "Phone". Hmm. Well, it's spelled wrong, but I think maybe this is it. I tapped the icon on the screen when then the whole screen changed to a bunch of numbers on the bottom half of the screen and three words on the very top. ...What did I do?
