The shirtless, just deflowered little Omega and his rock solid Alpha ready to defend his honor, the beautiful bisexual teen princess and two angry suitors vying for her heart and last but not least, the oversexed and very surprised parents in the middle of it all, one in his boxers and trench coat. Add in a winter storm, a whole lot of pizza and the pungent smells of some good fucking emitting through the open doors of the sleazy Night Owl and you had a low budget, drama-romance soap opera in progress.
Beau had already grabbed his winter coat, draped it around Jack and held his Omega back from whatever madness Jacks sister was in. He was prepared for the aftermath of tomorrow but not at this minute with his lovers' parents shooting daggers his direction. This had not gone as he had planned at all. Tonight was supposed to be all about them all night right up until check out time and Beau had a whole speech prepared for when he brought Jack back to the farmhouse but this scenario was a nightmare.
Luckily they were off the radar until the fist fight brewing between Graces suitors was resolved.
Dean shot Beau a withering glance before stepping in between feisty little Isabelle in her fairy princess dress and donkey dick Jacob who smelled like their daughters pussy. It was at times like these Dean wished he didn't have the keen sense of smell that came with being an Omega. No mom wants to get that up their nostrils.
"Both of you back off of each other and Grace keep your trap shut because I don't want to hear it. I swear Isabelle, if you don't put that fucking stiletto back on…."
She wasn't foolish enough to defy Grace's parents so she slipped the deadly looking shoe back on her little foot.
Castiel placed a firm hand on the young man's arm then pulled him inside one of the open rooms and shut the door behind them. The Beta honestly looked scared and a little shell shocked. The Alpha knew this young man was a lover not a fighter.
"Tell me the truth; are you willing to fight tooth and nail for Grace's heart against that little hellion out there? Those girls grew up together and know each other literally inside and out. They have a history so if and when my daughter decides to cut her off completely you're in for a hell of a rocky road of constant battles and repeated heartbreak. Take a moment and think it over, I'll wait."
Jacob sat heavily on the edge of the bed he just boned his girlfriend in to give it some through. He trusted Mr. Novak and honestly was happy to be away from the horrors that awaited him on the other side of that door. He wasn't built for drama.
…
Isabelle stood on tiptoe and peppered her woman's face with kisses, "Baby I just can't quit you. Give your little Izzy another chance, I promise I'll be the sweet, good girl you've always wanted."
Grace hated herself for softening up so easily but she couldn't help herself. This female was like the best feel good drug in the world. She wrapped her arms around Izzy's tight little figure and kissed her hard then let her go almost sending Izzy into the wall.
"You can't be something you're not, Izzy. If I wanted a sweet, good girl I'd go find some chick studying library science."
Isabelle screwed up her delicate features into a frown and her pretty, dark eyes opened wide, "Is that a thing?"
"Ugh, she's so damn cute…"
"Yes babe, it's a thing."
Dean left his eldest to hash out her mess of a love life. Grace was headstrong, independent and eighteen years old. So far she hadn't gotten knocked up and graduated from high school with decent grades. He knew their daughter would figure out the ways of the heart eventually.
When Dean took three long steps right up to Beau the Beta squared his shoulders and held his head high. It was hard to look cool and in control when you're half naked and theres biting, icy snow pelting your skin but damned if he was going to look like a pussy in front of his Omega.
Instead of hauling off and punching him, Dean barked, "Get in our room, dumbasses, its freezing out here."
…
Castiel stood by just in case there were fireworks. Jacob had made his decision and from the looks of it, so had Grace and he was relieved.
"Grace, I think you are an awesome young woman and the time we've spent together…" he looked over the Alpha and Castiel nodded his approval, "has met a lot to me but we are two very different people." He lowered his eyes, "I just don't want all this hassle. I've got college in the fall and we weren't sure what would happen after that anyway and…"
Grace held his face with both hands and kissed his icy lips. "Thank you. I know there are loads of girls out there who will go crazy for a great guy like you."
Isabelle gestured to his crotch, "With a cock like that you'll be scoring pussy left and right in college." She grinned up at the Beta. She had Grace and all was right with the world. Now she could afford to be a gracious winner.
The girls packed up Grace's things and against Castiels wishes, the pair left in Isabelle's crimson Escalade. As Isabelle put it, they were headed to a classier place than this dump so she could treat her lady Grace like the pretty princess she deserved.
He went to find Dean and his youngest child.
….
Jack cocked his head and frowned at his mother, "Mom, why are you wearing glitter cat ears?"
Dean snatched them off his head and tossed them on the bed, "None of your business."
Beau raised his hand, "I was wondering that too. Is it some sort of feline fetish or a vagina thing?"
Luckily Castiel walked in before Dean could lay into the nosey kid who just boned his baby boy.
Castiel went to his son and looked deep into his eyes trying to find any sort of pain or fear and found none. It was just his curious and innocent Jack staring back at him. The elder Alpha ran a hand through the boy's hair before taking a seat on a green velvet chair and folding his hands on his lap.
"Dean, take a seat. We all need to calm down."
Dean gestured to the Beta, "But Cas…"
"Dean."
"Fine, but I'm only sitting because I want to not because you told me to do it."
"Of course, my love."
Dean sat on the other awful green chair but never took his eyes off Beau.
Castiel did the talking for both of them.
"Jack I'm disappointed you thought it was ok to do this when you knew you had a curfew and we expected you to be home safe and sound by now. Sam has left me several frantic messages in the last half hour wondering if you were in an accident because of the weather. Color me surprised to find you were right next door giving away your virginity without a thought of calling any of us until morning. If we hadn't heard the fighting your mother and I would be none the wiser. Do you have anything to say for yourself?"
Jack zipped up Beau's winter coat as if it were armor against attack. "You wouldn't have let me come if I'd told you. Also shouldn't you and Mother have been home waiting for me instead of putting this on Uncle Sam?"
Dean emitted a low growl but held his tongue. He was too angry to speak and Castiel was doing a decent job of handling things. Besides, it was obvious the Alpha wanted his emotional Omega to be silent and supportive.
Skinny Jack looked like a kid wearing his daddy's coat, only adding to his air of innocence and the need for everyone else in the room to want to protect him but Jack Novak could handle himself just fine.
"Mother, Father, I wanted this and no one forced me into anything. I'm not a child and I felt this was the right time and with the right person. I love Beau, I really do and I don't regret anything. If you want to be mad at someone be mad at me. I accept any punishment you decide except for keeping me from Beau. Love finds a way…you told me that once, Mother. Also you fell in love with Father when you were fourteen years old so you of all people should understand."
Jack knew it would be his mother that needed convincing, the one he would have to appease. When he observed the elder Omegas change in body language Jack knew he'd brought out the tenderness in Dean.
They discussed everything into the wee hours of the morning while finishing the rest of the cold pizzas and drinking vending machine coffee. By dawn there were rules set and precautions in place but Jack and Beau were officially the romantic couple the two had always wanted to be and the parents knew they had no choice but to accept. Castiel and Dean knew the young Beta was a fine choice and a good kid with a work ethic, talent, big heart and a sharp mind. Jack would be loved and safe with him.
…
Three Years Later….
Jack squinted up at the June sunshine, then over to his parents and waved, giving them the biggest smile ever. His graduation party at grandpa and grandma's house was in full swing.
Beau picked up Jack and unceremoniously tossed him in the pool but not before Jack caught him by the trunks and dragged the Beta right along with him.
Jack got a free ride to the college of his choice to study medicine and he chose one closest to his family but it was still a five hour drive away. Beau was doing well at his apprenticeship and couldn't follow Jack but they vowed to make it work. What the future held for them only the Fates knew for sure.
Grace and Isabelle had spent the past three years breaking up and getting back together until Grace finally tired of it all and left her for good. Grace gave up hunting when she got knocked up and gave birth to a baby boy she named Henry after her great grandfather. The father was a fellow hunter, an older guy she had a fling with during a nest cleaning. He died gruesomely but Grace got over it quick enough. She planned to tell Henry his dad died a hero.
Sam moved up rapidly in the law firm and with the extra money he and Alfie managed to finish up the remodeling on their country home and even managed to start college funds for their son and daughter. The pair was more in love than ever. Sam proved to be an exemplary parent. After all, he had the best example in the world growing up, his brother Dean.
….
Castiel caught his wife around the waist and proceed to nibble a trail across Dean's broad, freckled shoulders then up the side of his neck before sucking briefly on an earlobe. Dean bumped his ass against his Alpha's crotch and let out a raucous laugh.
They were just inside the atrium, watching their loved ones have fun around the pool.
"Just look at 'em all, Cas. Our family."
Spencer was manning the giant Weber grill and refused to let anyone near the meat. He said he had a perfect grilling system and interference was not allowed. Over the past few years he'd slowed down quite a bit and had a hip replacement coming up but considering everything, the elderly Alpha was in pretty good shape. Scotty kept him young and vital where it counted, the bedroom.
Danny appeared, soaking wet and nude.
"Help Unca Dee, Daddy's gonna make me wear clothes!" He hid behind Dean.
Sam, waving a pair of tiny swimming trunks, headed right for them. "Danny, put your trunks back on!"
Dean placed a hand on his big little brother's chest, "Sammy he's only taking after you. Christ, all the times I chased you around trying to get some underwear on your bare ass," he shook his head, "you were a defiant little nudist," he messed up Sam's hair because he knew his brother hated that, "but you turned out ok."
Danny peeked out from behind his uncle's hairy legs, "I don't wanna."
Dean scooped him up and held the tot out at arm's length while Sam got his trunks back on. The Omega told his nephew the world didn't need to see his ding-a-ling and to be a good guy and listen to his dad. Naturally it worked because Dean had a way with kids.
…..
That night they all gathered back at the old farm for music and dancing, beer, food and a huge graduation cake. All of this was for Jack and the night couldn't have been more perfect. A clear sky filled with stars and the trees and deck strung with colorful lanterns made the young Omega feel like he was in some sort of fairytale. He was surrounded by everyone he loved and at that moment it seemed life couldn't possibly get any better.
…..
Castiel was nicely buzzed on homemade gooseberry wine. He watched as some of the guests danced around the gravel drive. Grace was swaying to "When I See You Smile". Cas relished his role of grandfather and secretly looked forward to more grandkids though maybe not quite so soon. Grace still lived with them so both grandparents got plenty of time with the little fella.
He took a seat on the porch swing, the one he spent many a night on with his loving mate at his side. The wine caused Cas to grow thoughtful and old memories came flooding back to him.
He recalled the day when the most beautiful boy in the world entered his classroom and offered him a stolen apple in order to curry favor with his new teacher. No apple was needed; Castiel fell hard for Dean the moment he looked into the boy's bottle green eyes.
As if by magic, Dean appeared on the porch in front of him, holding out an apple.
Cas took the apple offered and repeated the very first words he ever spoke to Dean, "You are…?"
A smile crept across Dean's face; he knew exactly how to answer.
"Dean Winchester, Sir."
The End
A/N- Thank you everyone for your love and support for Bittersweet! It's been a long journey for sure. I started this as a gift for a dear writer friend who has long since passed and I hope I did her proud.
I have new stories in the works. I plan on some Wincest, more A/O, Destiel and even a little Jared/Jensen. At some point I'll do a story or two that takes you back to the past, where in history I'm not sure yet.
