Gone
A little boy floated in pure darkness, the void of nothing.
He couldn't feel or do a thing, and in that he found solitude and fear.
He clawed in the darkness for it felt wrong.
He fought for something, for that little piece of him that remained.
It was the memory of bright green and the pain of death.
He could remember the ominous click of something that doomed the end for him.
A force of pure green energy in the form of lightning had spammed into him, bringing pain so hot it could burn out the sun.
He could feel his cells dieing, his skin burning, and soon his body couldn't take it his heart almost giving out.
Then nothing, it all stopped and he could almost cry in joy.
He was balanced on the cliff of nothing threatening to take him in forever.
He could hear two voices scream in horror from so very far away.
Sam...
Tucker...
His friends...
His family...
He couldn't leave them. Not now. Not ever.
He brought up the last bits of strength he thought he didn't have.
He stepped through the portal, his every movement in agonizing pain. He fell outside, he had only moments.
He looked to his friends, who were looking at him in horror.
He didn't want this to be his goodbye.
Danny caught his friends eyes, sam and tuckers faces were streaked with tears. Danny smiled, he wished he could reassure them with words. Say that he's okay, he's not going to leave them. Not now, not ever.
He tried to put all he could into one last look.
His heart fought one last beat, giving out. Danny's eyes dulled. His vision fading from the world
He fell into nothingness he clawed and fought. The darkness seemed to take everything and soon it was almost nothing but the darkness, and he was almost gone.
Yet he still fought, for that last slivers of that memory, of the lightning flashes of green and his own screams.
He remembered and he fell into darkness and it started over again.
