It was a typical day in Miharu Mikuni's class. She admired her classmate Keita Suminoe ever since Yuuzuki Kiryuu broke up with him when they were in Hokkaido. When Keita accidentally blurted out that he broke up, his class thought he broke up with Miharu, not Yuuzuki. She then took up the courage to make out with Keita in front of the entire class, as well as a passing-by Ako and Riko.
Weeks gone by and Keita and Miharu are joined at the hip, together embracing each other as their class watches them. Some classmates, like Keita's friend Toda, are frustrated.
After class, Keita and Miharu walked to his home and saw Ako and Riko waiting at the door.
"Greetings, Ako-sempai and Riko-sempai," Miharu said, bowing down and smiling cheerfully.
"Hello, Miharu-chan," Ako replied. "You've certainly changed your personality, haven't you?"
"Yes," Miharu blushed. "Suminoe-kun's amazing. He's really sweet."
Keita tries to look cool, but inside he's feeling the pressure from not only his twin sisters, but his newly-found self-proclaimed girlfriend in Miharu.
"I see," Riko added, looking concerned. "And how long has this been going on?"
"Ever since we've returned from Hokkaido," Miharu answered. "You remember. You did stumble into us making out."
"Yeah, I remember," Riko grumbled. "I wanted to do that to Keita!"
"No way! I wanted to do that to Kei-chan!" Ako shouted at Riko.
And just like that, Ako and Riko were back to fighting again. Keita sighed heavily and turned to Miharu.
"Is it OK if I call you tomorrow, Mikuni?" Keita asked.
"Sure, Suminoe-kun," Miharu smiled. "I've got things to do today anyway."
Keita and Miharu kissed together for a few seconds before the twins took notice and dragged him away. Miharu blushed and giggled having started on dating Keita for real, and not to cover for Yuuzuki like she did in the past.
"This is wonderful," Miharu said deeply. "This is the beginning of a beautiful relationship."
Miharu still had to find a good paying job to not only support herself, but to pay back her mother for overusing the Internet to watch a porn site Yuuzuki e-mailed to her and the rest of the girls after coming back from Hokkaido. She decides to check into an arcade since she knows her little brother Kouki is a big time gamer. While she waits for the manager, she notices a shy girl in glasses playing Ghost Squad: Evolution. Miharu also noticed when this girl's playing shooting games, she's fighting something else.
"Excuse me, are you alright?" Miharu asked.
The girl got a little spooked and lost her last life in the game. She looked flustered and confused after Miharu startled her.
"What's the big idea?!" she snapped back. "Don't jump over me like that! I was in the zone!"
"Sorry!" Miharu said, starting to cry.
The girl adjusted her glasses and patted Miharu on the shoulder.
"I'm sorry I yelled at you," she apologized. "When I play shooters, I'm like a different personality. I'm still trying to overcome my fear of guns."
"I didn't know," Miharu responded.
"Yeah," the girl said, looking at Miharu. "Anyway, I noticed you're so well-built. Never have I seen someone that big."
Miharu blushed knowing she was talking about how big her breasts and hips were and covered herself.
"Be proud of your body, girl," she added. "My friend Asuna might be a little jealous of you if she saw you near Kirito."
"Kirito and Asuna?" Miharu asked. "Who are they?"
"They helped me overcome my fear of guns," she replied. "I also fought back against my classmates who bullied me. But enough about me. What's your name?"
"Miharu…Miharu Mikuni."
"Nice to meet you, Miharu," the girl said, shaking Miharu's hand. "My name's Shino Asada."
"Very pleased to meet you, Asada-chan," Miharu said.
"You can just call me Shino, or my online name Sinon," Sinon said to Miharu.
"OK, Sh-Shino…" Miharu replied.
"So, Miharu, what brings you out to the arcade?" Sinon asked.
"Well, I'm kinda in a relationship right now," Miharu answered nervously. "It was just after me, him, his twin sisters and my teacher's little sister returned from Hokkaido. Things got complicated before, but right now, everything is stable."
"So, who's the lucky guy?" Sinon elbowed Miharu's breast slightly.
"Suminoe…Keita Suminoe," Miharu said, blushing heavily.
"Woo, girl! You are in LOVE!" Sinon smiled. "How far have you gotten?"
"Let's not jump forward like that, Shino!" Miharu squealed. "Some moments are too intimate to be discussed in public! Besides, this is a private matter!"
Sinon understood and talked further to Miharu. After a half-hour, Kouki was done with his games and saw Miharu talking with Sinon.
"Whoa, Sis. I didn't know you made a friend," Kouki said.
"Well, I have, Kouki," Miharu nodded. "I've become more outgoing than I've ever been before."
"Perhaps it's because of Keita-niichan, huh?" Kouki said with a smirk.
Miharu was blushing and slightly furious while Sinon was laughing hysterically.
"I'd take it he's your little bro, Miharu?" Sinon said.
"Yes…he can be quite a little pain…" Miharu grumbled before collecting herself.
"Shino, meet my little brother Kouki," Miharu said after calming down.
"Shino, as in Sinon?" Kouki wondered. "My friends and I got involved in a squad battle online and we could never beat one squad, the Knights of the Blood Oath. Are you the same Sinon from that squad?"
"Yes I am," Sinon said, bowing to Kouki.
"WOW! You're a legend!" Kouki exclaimed. Sinon was slightly blushing with pride. "However, don't think I'll take it easy on you and the rest of the Knights! Next time, I'll take you down!"
"Sounds like a good challenge, young man!" Sinon said, as she and Kouki locked hands in respect.
"This is fun and all, but you've gotta head home before Mom calls," Miharu spoke in a worrying fashion.
"You really know how to kill the mood, Sis," Kouki moaned. "Anyway, I'll talk to you soon online, Miss Sinon!"
Kouki headed off towards Miharu's home as Sinon slyly looked at Miharu.
"You really care for him, dontcha, Miharu?" Sinon chuckled.
"Yes, Shino," Miharu smiled. "When he was involved in a car accident about a year ago, I panicked, but Suminoe-kun was there and he helped out before the EMTs arrived."
"That was lucky," Sinon said, looking shocked. "He looks like he's doing great. "You're really lucky to have a guy like Keita around."
"I do, don't I?" Miharu giggled.
"Anyway, I was wondering if you'd like to meet my squadmates in real life?" Sinon said.
"Sure," Miharu replied. "Maybe they can help me find a good job and get some good relationship advice."
"They're all in Tokyo right now," Sinon said, checking her phone.
"OK. Let me text everyone I know so they'll know where I'm at," said Miharu.
Miharu let her family, friends, and Keita's family know she's going to Tokyo with a new friend in Sinon. After she was done, the both of them headed for the nearest station to take a train to Tokyo.
