Gone but never forgotten 11
I know we jumped in the deep end at the end of last chapter but I promise it wasn't just me trying to end this story- we have a ways to go.

They pulled apart with a loud gasp.
"What was that?" Emma asked.
"I think... I think that was true loves kiss..." Regina explained.
Emma looked shocked but smiled a huge smile. She leaned in and kissed Regina once again.
Regina kissed her back softly before a yawn broke the kiss. Emma pulled back and looked at her.
"You're tired.. I'm so sorry! Please get some rest and I'll see myself out. We can talk tomorrow!" Emma said she kissed Regina once more quickly before letting herself out of the room. Regina smiled once again and touched her fingers to her lips gently.

Snow walked slowly around a field of flowers picking them as she hummed softy. A knight could be seen a few meters away watching carefully for danger but she paid him no mind.
"Some day my prince will come... some day we'll meet again..." she sang softly.
A rustling sound came from the bushes across the field and Snow turned to look quickly. She pulled a knife from her basket and crept toward the brush, still singing softly as to not alert the intruder.
"And away to my castle we'll go... to be happy forever I know..."
Then she pounced on the stranger holding the dagger to his throat.
The boy was her age, with sandy blonde hair and crystal blue eyes. He gasped at her, mouth open and eyes wide. He was dressed in peasants clothes and the dog at his side growled at her.
"Who are you?" She demanded.
"I- my name is David...I heard your singing and I wanted to... see you?" He stuttered. "I didn't mean to scare you Miss."
She huffed and climbed off of him, brushing the dirt off her gown. She looked down at him where he hadn't moved. She smiled and reached a hand out to him.
"I'm Snow White, nice to meet you. Sorry, about the knife."
He took her hand and stood from the ground, finally hushing the dog to his side. "David - like I said."
"Charming." She said with a playful roll of her eyes.
"N-no David... why would you call me charming?" He asked, the look on his face dumbfound.
She laughed, "I like it, it suits you charming. So what are you doing on the royal grounds charming?"
"I'm on my way to the village to do some shopping for the farm but Wilbey ran off and then I heard your singing."
Oh, Snow thought, not quite a prince but then her father wasn't around to tell her she must marry a prince anymore anyway.

The next day when Regina woke she felt rested, truly rested for the first time in months. She rolled over in her bed and looks out the glass doors at the early morning sun. She smiled contently and pushed the blankets off. Reaching for her cane and stood from the bed and pulled her over coat on before walking to the balcony and pushing the doors open. As she stepped out she inhaled deeply the fresh air. She stood on the balcony for several minutes until Red came in to her room with as soft knock.
"You're majesty breakfast is about to be served. I thought I would come help you get dressed food the day."
Regina mods and follows Red to her new dressing room. The room was the size of a small bedroom with a cushion seat in the center, a dressing screen and both walls lined with dresses, the far wall shoes and the wall with the door jewels and crowns. Regina looked at all her gowns with a sigh. They were the gown Leopold had made her wear before Snow had left, after snow had gone she had worn a lot of nothing but before it was tight corsets and long poofy dresses.
"What would you like to wear today your majesty?"
Regina sighed, "please Red, call me Regina."
Red laughs lightly, "ok Regina, what would you like to wear today?"
Regina looked around the closet until she spotted a soft pink gown, she remembered she brought it from home when she came to live at the castle. The last time she'd worn it was her 16th birthday. It hung loose enough on her that she didn't feel restricted by it but it was still regal enough.
"This one." Regina said. Red nodded and helped Regina out of her night gown. In the attached space red had the bath tub filled with warm water and helped Regina bathe before getting her dressed. The dress hung looser on her now that the last time she'd worn it. It was then she noticed how much weight she'd lost. She'd always been skinny, her mother stood for nothing less while she was growing up, "you're getting fat Regina." "You need to keep yourself slim for your future husband Regina." "No one likes a fat bride." But this new weight of her body now was something else, this was starving. She hadn't thought much about it at all to be honest, she wasn't very hungry now and while she had been detained with Leopold he hadn't let her eat much more than water and bread with the occasional scraps from his plate.
She placed a hand on her stomach as it rolled.
"Regina? Are you okay?" Red asked as she brushed Reginas hair, she noticed her face her pale.
"I'm gonna-" Regina gagged and held back vomit. Red quickly grabbed a bucket from the washroom and held it to Reginas face letting the woman throw up harshly.
When she was sure she was finished she pushed the bucket away and red grabbed a wet washcloth wiping around Reginas mouth.
"Are you feeling better?" Red asked as she as she went back to brushing Reginas hair.
"I'm fine red." Regina snapped and immediately regretted it. "I'm sorry..."
Red smiled at her, "it's ok but... Regina have you... when was the last time you had your period?"
Regina blushes a bright red, "I- red how is that any of your business?"
"Answer the question Regina."
"Um... like two months ago? It's not regular I..."
Red thought for a moment before speaking again, "I think you're pregnant."
Regina laughed, actually laughed out loud.
"Why? Because I threw up? Red I've had a lot going on don't you think it's okay for me to be a little sick about it?"
"Regina..."
"No! I mean... no... I uh.. I made a potion when I was first married... I can't... I didn't want to bare his children so... the potion doesn't let me carry children to term..." she was crying now.
"Oh Regina..." red wrapped her arms around her and held her tight. "I don't think your potions working any more..."
Regina sniffed, "why would you say that? How would it just stop working?"
"I can hear the heartbeat... I can hear your baby Regina."
Regina shook her head. "No no it will work it just hasn't yet it will it has to... I can't have his child..."
