GLaDoS swam as deep as she could to the bottom of the muggy water, as Wheatley waited anxiously for her to resurface. GLaDoS managed to find two different colored guns. One was white and orange, one was white and blue. She prys the guns from the skeletal arms of the dead test subjects and swims back up towards the surface.
Wheatley: Oh, where could she be? She should be coming up by now. Come on. Come on.
As Wheatley shuttered, thinking of what might have happened to his "friend", he's startled by a gun being thrown at him from the water.
Wheatley: OH GEEZ! YOU SCARED THE CRAP OUT OF ME!
GLaDoS: Well I have to have a little fun in my life.
Wheatley: I suppose... Are we ready to go?
GLaDoS: Certainly.
GLaDoS shoots an orange portal near the wall above her, which leads to a door. Wheatley shoots a blue portal into the wall behind them. The two step through and walks onto the platform and into the door. In the room were two tubes. One blue. One orange. Wheatley and GLaDoS step into their respected tubes, the doors of the tubes close on them, and they are shot straight up into a winding tunnel, which takes them to their first test chamber.
Test 1 Start
GLaDoS and Wheatley exit the tubes and enter into the next room. The room is rather small. The floor is mainly black, except for one lone white spot in the middle with a door in front. There's two big platforms surrounded by white walls, each with a button on top to open the door. Between the platforms there's a crevice in the wall with another platform and a red button attached to a cube dispenser on the top.
GLaDoS: This one looks rather simple. Would you like to start first?
Wheatley: I'd be glad to.
Wheatley walks over to the white spot and shoots a blue portal on it. GLaDoS shoots an orange portal to the top of the right platform for Wheatley to step onto it. GLaDoS then turns to the crevice and aims a portal to the top of that platform. She presses the button, grabs the cube above her and jumps off the platform. GLaDoS then shoots another orange portal into the wall above the left platform. She places the cube on the button and repeats the process, except instead of shooting a portal above the left platform, she shoots above the right and places the cube on the button at the top, opening the door for both of them to enter.
Wheatley: You know, if I would have stood on the button on the right platform, while the cube sat on the button on the left platform you could have went on through without me.
GLaDoS: Yes, I know.
Wheatley: So why didn't you just order me to stand on the button while you went on without me?
GLaDoS: Because you idiot, we're going to need each other if we want to manage to get to the top of this place. We can't afford any screw ups. Got that?
Wheatley: Yeah. I got it.
As Wheatley and GLaDoS stepped inside their tubes in the next room, the camera above the door focused on them before they shot into the tunnel to the second test chamber.
?: You managed to get through the first in one piece... but they only get harder from there. Hahaha.
