The next morning after breakfast, Kirito and Kouichiro were standing in an open field.
"You sure that you want to go up against me?" asked Kouichiro as he held an old civil war type gun with a bayonet attached.
"You're the one that picked this fight, and don't expect me to hold back just because you're my girlfriend's brother," said Kirito as he held Excalibur.
"So, you do have the strongest sword, good thing I have this one," said Kouichiro as he swung his gun, creating a blade of blue light that shot past Kirito.
"What was that?" asked Kirtio who was unharmed. However, he soon realized that his sword was rusting.
"That is the ability of my Nordas, it can take and cancel the abilities of other weapons and get rid of their stat boosts as well," said Kouichiro.
"That is not good," said Klein.
"I see, too bad that won't work on Excalibur," said Kirito as he swung the sword, which threw the rust off.
"That's not possible," said a surprised Kouichiro.
"Excalibur is immune to any ability or spell except those used by its wielder," said Kirito.
"Then I'll just blow you away!" said Kouichiro as he started shooting, but Kirito managed to dodge each bullet, even cutting through a few of them. Once he was in close, Kirito used a combination of strikes to cut Kouichiro's LP away before it hit zero.
"That hurt," said Kouichiro as he appeared back at the campsite. Campsites counted as spawn points for any members that were part of the camp.
"Your gun was firing too slowly, you have 12.07 seconds between each shot," said Kirito.
"Even a weapon faster than that wouldn't have defeated Kirtio, he's the one that defeated the Untouchable back in GGO," said Sinon.
"To bad this is the only weapon I have," said Kouichirou.
"Then come with us on our journey, I'm sure we can find weapons that can help you grow stronger," said Asuna.
"Is that really alright?" asked Kouichirou.
"It's fine with me, I just hope you can handle the next ten floors," said Kirito.
