RETCON NOTES -
Chapter 1 stated Leo as the first Black camper of TDA. Maxine is also black so that is being retconned.
Joshlyn was stated as a "Teenager of average height." Retconned to her being the tallest female camper at 5'8" (173 cm).
Chapter 02 (Day 1, Part 2) - The New Teams
After a brief commercial break, the new 22 campers (minus 2) all stood (and sat) alongside the campfire ceremony area, a group of the girls glaring daggers at Dani, who sat at one of the stumps on her phone, using another seat as a footrest.
"I'm just saying," Alexa started, whispering softly to Joshlyn next to her. "I'm willing to lose $100,000 if it means getting to sock her good." The girl gave a curt nod in answer, making sure to level a glare at the New Queen.
"I guess it's good it's not $100,000 then, huh?" As if on cue, Chris McLean stepped out of seemingly nowhere, walking towards the podium, a bandage wrapped around his waist and crotch area, garnering lots of snickers from the teens, even Johnny, who thought the scene of his idol in a diaper was quite comical. With a scowl, he placed his hands on his bandaged hips. "Oh hilarious, I know. Laugh it up." From one of the seats, Jessica crossed her arms, a larger than normal smile on her face.
"Oh come on, don't be like that baby. Is it time for naptime?" Standing near her, Vega let out a howl of laughter, falling to his hands and knees. The host simply rolled his eyes, not saying anything.
"Oh Jess, you made him mad. He's gonna have to go to time out!" Mozart stated, laughing hard with the other teens. Next to Chris, Chef walked up with a shrug.
"It does look like a diaper man."
"Okay, enough!" He shouted, silencing the teens. "Next person to crack a joke is off the island! Finished in this contest! Done!" He was breathing heavily, his arms outstretched to show his seriousness. From the back of the campfire, Dani blew out a bubble, a loud pop sounding before glancing up at the host.
"Diaper." It was all she said, but it was all that was needed for all the teens to start roaring with laughing once more. With a defeated sigh, the host hung his head in shame. In midst of the laughter, Sarah let out a cough, trying to get the host's attention.
"Uh Chris. What did you mean it's not $100,000?" With the question heard, the host looked back up, a bright smile on his face. Alexa nodded, her laughing fit over and her arms crossed.
"Yeah, honestly. I'm not here to bust my face in for some lowball amount like 10G's or so." From the seat, Dani rolled her eyes, not caring about the monetary value.
"Any money is good honestly. Don't know why you are all being greedy little gremlins." She said with her legs crossing. From the seat next to Jessica, Luke rolled his eyes, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Well more money means more things we can buy with it! I could get Branchy his own entire wardrobe!" Standing a little away from the crazed man, Wolfe nodded.
"What crazy guy said. But in a more saner way, it would help out a lot in our normal lives. Helping friends or family. Help us be the best we can." A chorus of yeahs, rang through the host's ears, all of them looking towards the host, except for Luke, who was giving a small glare to Wolfe.
(Confessional Cam - It's been awhile… old friend)
Luke - "I said the exact same thing as he did! Only not as… good, I guess? /He looks to Branchy, a frown on his face. He suddenly perks up, looking back to the camera with a toothy grin/ Branchy's right! I do have the most nobelest of goals! Thank you sir!
Julie was conflicted. She bit her lip in anguish; she wanted to agree with Dani, saying money isn't the only thing in the world, but she seemed to be the main bad guy to her, and there was NO way she would side with the bad guy before the teams even became a thing! That would just send her packing straight away, as she was a much easier target than Dani. Luckily for her, Daniel spoke up before she could say anything and make any enemies.
"I hate to say it, but I kind of agree with Dani on this one." Jessica gave an incredulous look at the standing man, her eyes questioning him. From the other side of the campfire, Dani lowered her glasses to look at Daniel with a smirk. "Money is awesome and all, but wasn't the whole premise of Total Drama, 'I wanna be famous?'. Now, I'm not sure about people who already have the wealth and seem to be famous," he shot a small glance at Dani and Laura, "but, I'd love to be famous. We got musicians here that can get exposure and maybe even potential movie gigs from this show. Sounds awesome to me." Julie watched Daniel with a smile, glad she wasn't the first to voice her opinion on the matter. Before she could speak up, Samara chuckled, placing a hand on her hip.
"I would love to have my own dance show. Like a reality show. I see what they are saying. It would be great to get that exposure and famousness." Vega nodded, now resting in the grass.
"I could be like the next Jackass, you know? Insane stunts and rock hard music. Mo, you'll be my music man!" The man sent him a rock on symbol with his hands, making several others voice their support for being famous. As they all started to vocalize their want to be famous, Daniel shot a small look behind him, seeing Dani giving him an evil smirk. Seeing the slyness, Jessica frowned slightly.
(Confessional Cam - A potato flew around my room)
Jessica - "What was that? I am sooooo not liking that look Dani gave. And Daniel siding with her? Man, I was just starting to like him too!"
Daniel - "Don't get me wrong, Dani is a jerk. But, I mean come on! We came here to get famous, didn't we? Besides, even if we did do $10,000, that's still a lot of money. Not as much as I'd like, but hey, if it gets me potential jobs in the future, I'm down!"
Dani - "Oh, a smooth talker I see? I'm going to have to keep an eye on that Daniel. Never hurts to have a guy that can turn a crowd."
"Are you all done bickering about money now? Because I can tell you how much the grand prize is, ya know?" Chris stood at the podium with a scowl, his hands behind his back and his lower body hidden by the podium. Silence took over the campsite, making the host's perfect smile return. "That's more like it. See, the studio didn't think the show was going to do good, so the most we could do was $100,000. Which was mostly ad revenue." Nearby, Chef snorted, looking away.
"Yeah because the entire budget went to you." He muttered, making several campers snort, before Chris pointed a finger at the man.
"Zip it, you! Anyway, this time around, we received a bigger budget, as well as much more ad revenue! At least, that's the projected numbers, so make sure to bring that drama to bring in the viewers." With a small chortle, he licked his lips. "This year, the winner of this season will be getting a nice and crisp, 1! Million! Dollars!" He rose his hands, small fireworks shooting behind him, while most of the campers gasped in surprise, besides Laura ("Only a million?"). With a groan, Daniel facepalmed and turned to Jessica.
"Well, nevermind about what I said about it not being about the money and being famous instead." Jessica, while still annoyed at the man, smiled slightly. It vanished quickly, however, when a snort from Julie laughing upset her. Daniel turned behind him, giving a small smile to the klutz, who noticed him looking at her and reddened a little.
"It was funny." She stated simply, neither of them aware of the glares the Punk was giving Julie. In the middle of the stands, Leo was staring at his sword, a large smile on his face.
"This is perfect. With that kind of money, we could get a nice grinding stone for you Shadedra. You'll never see a dull day in your life again." He let out almost a little giggle, gently touching his sword. Near him, Dakota gave a small smile, nodding at the man.
"You rock on you funky little swordsman, you." With all the commotion going on, no one noticed Ashley returning with Isaac, who was now dry and wearing a scowl on her face.
"What's going on?" The duo walked towards Maxine, who was watching Vega in astonishment, as he and Mozart both had a notepad out, scribbling down ideas for possible shows and music acts.
"Oh nothing much my guys, Chris just announced that the prize this year is 1 million buckaroonies." Ashley's jaw dropped slightly, while Isaac choked slightly, his eyes wide. He turned to Ashley, who just closed her jaw and shot a sly smirk to her best friend.
"See, aren't you glad you signed up with me now?" He rolled his eyes, the excitement gone from them now.
"That's the winner though, and we both know that I sure as hell aren't winning." She rolled her eyes back at him, ready to throw a retort at him, but before she could, a hand touched both their shoulders and Jim jumped between them, a large smile on his face.
"Well you won't win with that attitude! But it's a fair game, so let's do this friend!" The normally stoic Isaac let out a small smile, the tiny boys attitude behind slightly infectious. After a few seconds, he suddenly blinked and turned towards Ashley.
"Why is there a literal child on the island?" She gave him a slight chuckle and pointed towards one of the stumps, where a younger chubbier boy was sitting, looking around in astonishment. Frowning, he glanced back at Ashley for a pregnant pause. When he went to open his mouth, the host clapped his hands, interrupting all the chatter.
"Okay, yes it's a lot. If y'all don't remember, this is a show, so we are on a time limit!" The campers all stopped talking, all eyes back on Chris. Well, except for one.
"It's almost as if you can't edit footage out. Pretty easy thing to do, but who knows with the people you hire, huh?" Dani smirked slightly, popping her gum once more. Chris groaned, resting a hand on the podium in annoyance.
"You can't keep doing this Dani. It doesn't work like that. Sooner or later, you're just gonna get booted off by being a huge-"
"No, you listen here McLean," she interrupted the host, making him take a quick pause, looking at her in shock. "You already know my mother is one of the producers and my father is the top surgeon in the entire WORLD. I can do whatever the hell I want here and there is no stopping me. Especially not you." She leaned back down on her stump, her arms crossed and a defiant smirk on her face.
"Okay, Chef I can't anymore." Chris looked towards Chef, who shrugged, and he pulled out a button, and after pressing it, a two interns rushed over, pushing a TV. Alexa gave a confused look, and glanced to the blond next to her.
"Was the button really necessary." Unsure what to say, Sarah just gave her a shrug, interested in where this was going. Pressing the button once more, one of the interns turned the TV on, giving the host a look. As the screen fizzled on, Dani's heart dropped as she noticed the shadowy silhouette of her father on the screen. Before she could say anything, she glanced over at the host, an evil smirk now on his face.
"What did you just say to me? Danielle is being a brat! She's always being a brat!" There was murmurs and the doctor let out a growl. "National television? Are you serious? I will not have the *Fizzle* name be demeaned like this! I want it her to be informed that I will not tolerate that if and she doesn't win this show on national television, she'll be cut off from everything! She will get nothing from me every again!" There was another pause as a small murmur was heard once more, with the man freezing slightly. "International television?" The camera fizzled out after his words, and the interns quickly wheeled the TV out, all attention on the smirking host.
"So… Have I got your attention Dani?" The contests looked back towards Dani, who was wearing a dejected look on her face, almost as if she was crying.
(Confessional Cam - Big Bird's Foot enters the fray)
Sarah - "Oh man. I know she's been wicked, but jeez, I can't help but feel bad for her. That sucks. Hopefully she'll be fine? /She looks into the camera with a hopeful look/"
Dani - /She's sitting in the fetal position, holding her legs and her eyes are watery. After a brief pause, she let's out a sniffle before starting to wail, but the camera cuts off and fizzles out before any noise is heard and her glasses hit the floor/
Sakura - "Good! Maybe now she won't be such a wicked jerk! Kami-sama is sooo good sometimes!"
Alexa - "Okay, like… I'm glad she is getting a reality check, but I still feel for her. Like, hopefully she will start to make up for her witch ways. Hoping at least. Holding grudges can be annoying af sometimes!"
Leo - "It appears the sins of Danielle's past are coming to roost. This is what happens when one fails to consider others, but she shall only learn more from this path of the warrior for her."
Jim - "Oh, gosh, that's not fun. I hate when that kind of pressure is placed on someone! Like, gee thanks guys, I'm not nervous at all! /He groans and digs under his beanie for a candy bar, a frown on his face/ Times like these, I'm glad Milky Way exist."
Samara - "Oh? Weakness in Dani? I could use this… /She places her hand on her chin, an evil smirk on her face/ Maybe this will make her more welcoming to an alliance? After all, a girls gonna have to rely on someone you know?"
"So with that ordeal outta the way, let's move on to other things. Is that okay with you, Dani?" He smirked once more, the New Queen giving the host a deadly glare. With nothing being said from her, the host continued, ignoring the glares from the other campers.
"Anywho, just like last season, you're going to be separated into two teams, both with 11 campers each. We were thinking of reusing the Killer Bass and Screaming Gophers, but the producers said that would be too lazy, so we went to the drawing board!" He pulled a piece of paper out from behind his back, straightening it, by lightly tapping it against the podium. "Alrighty campers, if I call your name, I'm going to want you to stand over to my left, is that good?" Most of the campers rolled their eyes. But Johnny had stars in his eyes.
"This is it, right? We are going to do the epic team selection now? Ohmygosh, I love when he does this! I really wanna be a Ocean Blue!" Chris rolled his eyes at the man, who was now hovering over him. He pushed the man's head away, making him fall off screen.
"Ocean Blue?" Jessica started, giving Johnny a look, who was nodding happily. Joshlyn started to clap, the excitement beaming off her face.
"Whoa, is that one of the team names? I love it!" Chris cleared his throat out loudly, leveling a scowl at the Fanboy.
"No! The forums thought that was the name but it's not, now stop interrupting my game or else your off my show!" To emphasize his point, he stomped his foot, a whiny tone in his voice. There was a light snicker in the crowd, but they decided to let the man continue.
"Oh boy, messing with this man is going to be my main game here." Vega remarked with a chuckle, Maxine next to him, nodding with a massive smile.
"Now, as I was saying!" He began with a shout, straightening the papers once more. "If I call your name, stand to my left, alright?" He pointed towards the left side of the podium, making them all nod. "Alright, first up is… Isaac!" The man frowned, rising from his seat, not seeing Ashley's mournful look at him. Once he passed it turned to a glare, making the host whimper slightly but continue.
"Joining him will be Samara!" She gave him a smile before walking towards the black-clad Loner. She gave a flirty smile to him, getting incredibly close to him, making him blush slightly and try to shuffle away a few centimeters. Ashley's frown was now directed towards Samara, sending waves of anger to the brunette. She felt the wave of rage emanating from Ashley, as did multiple other campers (sans Isaac), but the girl simply let out a wink towards the Asian, only making the rage increase.
(Confessional Cam -Road work ahead? Uh… Yeah.)
Mozart - "My my… /He sniffs the air, looking towards the camera with a smirk/ Do I sense a cat fight already? Who knew the loner had it in him?"
Ashley - "/She's fuming, an angry scowl on her face/ Stupid little! I know something's off and she just wants to hurt poor Isaac! I love the guy to death, but he just is so naive when it comes to these girls! /she sighs then blushes after a few seconds, shaking her hands/ W-w-wait! I mean, I love him as a friend, he's my best friend!"
Isaac - "Samara just peaked my anxiety something fierce. /He sighs and shakes his head, rubbing his arm with the other and looking away, looking visibly uncomfortable/ Girls always try and talk to me and I'd love to chat back, but God…
Samara - "Isaac? /She blows a raspberry, giggling slightly/ As if. He's a little cute, but in that, 'I don't want to kick a helpless puppy' sorta way. Also, I doubt I'll do much with him if it makes Ashley an enemy, but I figure I can spin this in a way to benefit me."
"Next up is Dakota!" Chris announced, making the Scene Girl cheer and jump from her log, the rocker formation in both her hands.
"OMG LOL YES!" She rushed towards Isaac, pressing up against his shoulder. "How ya hanging, compadre? Glad to be with ya. Dakota with a 't' is the name." Isaac's blush increased, while the fire in Ashley's eyes tripled in size. Before anything else could be said, a snicker from Chris was heard.
"Moving on," he muttered in between laughs. "Next camper is Mozart!" The rocker gave a small smile before rising and walking towards the team. He gave a slight nod to Isaac, who let out a small, inaudible whimper, as both girls were still touching his shoulders and right next to him. "Having fun, Isaac?" Chris teased slightly, the boy answering with a whimper. With a slight shake of his head, he looked back to his list.
"Next up, we got Jim!" The hyperactive boy let out a shout, jumping up from his stump and rushing towards the Loner. With a thud, both girls were knocked off the man as he gave him a surprisingly strong hug.
"Heya, I'm Smiley Jim, but ya can just call me Jim!" Isaac let out a meek chuckle, cautiously looking over at the two girls, with Samara giving an angry glare at the boy, and Dakota, who just shrugged it off and was smiling happily. Mozart gave the small boy a 'rock-on' expression.
"For our 6th camper, can I get a Julie?" The host shouted, the blonde smiling lightly and rising from her stump (almost tripping over herself). She stood next to Jim, who released his hold on Isaac to beam at the girl.
"I like your headband!" He blurted out, his face a little red. She giggled slightly, covering her mouth.
"Thanks Jim. I like your beanie. It looks really cool." The kids face flushed ever more and he hid his face behind the beanie, a large smile on his face. From the stumps, Daniel gave a soft smile at the display, chuckling at the young boy's crush, while Jessica gagged, a scowl on her face.
(Confessional Cam - Hi, welcome to Chili's)
Smiley Jim - "Now that I got a better look, Julie's so cute! I'm a good guy and I got candy for days, so hey, maybe your boy has a chance of getting a girlfriend here!"
Jessica - "/She's rolling her eyes, with her arms folded/ Oh, we get it, she's such a beauty! Look, I'm not one to knock women down, since we all need the support, but come on. She's up to something or something like that. /She frowns and begins to pout again/"
Daniel - "Hey, I'll admit it. She's a cutie. I'm hoping we are on the same team, because I'd love to get to know her a little bit better."
"Following up, we have Luke!" The blond man fist bumped slightly, rushing towards his team and accidently bumping into Mozart. With a scowl, he jumped back, audibly growling at the man.
"Don't touch Branchy like that again or I'll rip you apart!" He snarled, making the rocker roll his eyes. He'd normally shout back and beat a white boys butt, but he knew the man was justifiably insane and he'd rather not deal with that lunacy. Chris chuckled and looked back towards the group of still waiting campers.
"Let's keep the train going and you guys can have Leo!" The swordsman nodded, rising up and walking calmly to the group, who were trying to hold back their groans at being placed with both Leo and Luke (sans Jim and Luke, who both didn't seem to care)
"How wise of you Chris, placing me 8th in the list. It is a lucky number in Japanese, as you should know." Mozart made a 'kill-me' expression, while Sakura nodded, knowing the common fact about Japan. Chris snorted, shrugging slightly.
"Whatever floats your boat friend. But can I get Daniel to join you all up there?" The dark-haired man smiled, rising from his seat and claimed a spot next to Julie, who gave him another smile with a light blush on her cheeks. Unknown to either of them, he unintentionally pushed Leo slightly outta the way, who was clutching his blade heavily.
After a few seconds, Jessica's eyes widened, realizing that there were only 2 spots left, with Julie and Daniel on the same team! Her face quickly morphed back into her normal uncaring one, but she could feel the pressure.
(Confessional Cam -A Genie in a bottle… baby)
Jessica - "I don't care! Really, I don't! I don't want to get to know him, show just started, I don't care at all." /Cross arms and looks away/
"For camper number 10, let's get Alexa into the fray!" The rocker chick smirked and hopped from her stomp, landing on top of it.
"Finally, let's get this party started!" She got situated to hop off the stump, but was quickly glomped down by a black and pink-haired blur, who was shouting, "ALEXA!" The duo landed to the ground with a loud thump, making Vega laugh loudly, which happened to be directly in an annoyed Wolfe's ear.
"I appreciate the enthusiasm, but could you just happen to try and NOT kill me, Dakota." She rolled her eyes, a scowl on her face as the smaller girl cuddled into her chest. A loud 'ahem' alerted them to Chris' presence, making the two jump up and rush to the side with the rest of their team. The host shook his head, looking back towards the campers.
"And with that it's ten for this team. And the last camper to join shall be…" He paused to look at his paper, a smirk barely seen from behind it. Jessica was gripping the tree stump hard, trying to hold in her nervousness, while Ashley was doing the same, mostly because she wanted to protect Isaac.
"Can I get Dani down here!?" He shouted with a grin, making both Jessica and Ashley groan and shout in anguish, with Dani simply rolling her eyes and walking over. Nearby, Sarah looked down and noticed she could trip the New Queen as she walked towards them, but held in her urge; Despite Dani being a massive jerk, she wasn't going to be a bully.
"And with that we have, Leo, Daniel, Dani, Luke, Samara, Isaac, Julie, Mozart, Alexa, Dakota and Jim! You 11 shall be now known as," he suddenly spawned in a flag in his hand, throwing it towards the group. It smacked Julie in the head, who was trying to grab it in the air, and instead landed in Samara's hands, who unfurled it to show off an emblem with a deep blue wave inside a blue circle.
"The Ocean Blue's!" The group smirked at each other, but Johnny was gasping, stars in his eyes. Chris was about to speak, but was interrupted by the sudden appearance of the brunette.
"So it's true! It is the Ocean Blues! I'm kind of bummed that I'm not an Ocean Blue, but I figure you have a plan! I'll be a Great-" Before he could finish his sentence, Chris placed a hand on his head and pushed him off, an angry expression on his face.
"Johnny stop stealing my thunder and spoiling my secrets!" After he took a few seconds to take a breath, he turned back to the campers.
"Johnny, Ashley, Vega, Tommy, Laura, Joshlyn, Jessica, Maxine, Sarah, Sakura and Wolfe." He tossed another spawned in flag at them, this one caught by Maxine, who quickly flailed it open, unintentionally smacking a growling Sakura in the head. On the flag, there was an emblem of a grey shark with its mouth open in the middle of a grey circle. "You will be the Great Whites!" They all looked at one another confused, when Joshlyn rose her hand in confusion.
"How come they got this long intro sequence announcing their team, and we just got our names called?" Chris put his hands on his hips, walking away from the podium with a sass in his step. He shot a small glance at Johnny, who was still on the floor.
"Because a certain Great White stole my thunder. Plus, if one team is already known, it's not like it's gonna be a massive surprise who the other team is." Everyone seemed to understand, but there was still a campwide frown in the air. Behind the camera, there was a cough and a hand extended way more than a normal hand ever could and handed Chris a paper. Taking it, he quickly scanned it and sighed, throwing it to the floor.
"Seems our producer Jenette thinks the Great Whites need more screen time." He looked dead at the camera, making a circle motion with his hand. "Can I get a reset?" There was a few second pause before grey static-looking lines appeared on the screen and everything reversed, all before stopping as he was about to announce the teams.
"Anyway, let's get started on the next team!" There was a sparkle in his eyes as the campers all looked confused.
(Confessional Cam -Initial D)
Laura - "/She's holding her head in pain/ Uh… My head hurts a bit now…"
Wolfe - "/A smirk is on his face/ And that's the power of showbiz!"
"For our second team, can I get Johnny to come over here to my right?" With a gasp, the brunette hopped up from his position on the ground, giving the host a large beaming smile.
"Anything for you darling!" He rubbed his shirt slightly, not noticing the deadpan look the host gave the camera. As he scooted towards the right, Chris looked back towards the campers.
"Our next hero is going to be Vega!" Before anything else could be said, a loud whoop erupted, startling everyone and making the host grab his ears in pain.
"Sorry, broseph's, but I'm raring to go and have some fun!" He let out another whoop, but it was quickly drowned out by another whoop, making them all groan in pain.
"Shut them up, please!" Joshlyn shouted, her eyes shut and ears bleeding. Vega blinked and looked over in amusement, seeing Maxine hit the loudest and longest 'whoo' he had seen in a long time.
"My God, now that was the illest of the skills." Maxine giggled slightly, now that her whoo was done, and simply cracked her knuckles.
"Oh you think that was good? Lemme tell you, I once hit a whoo so hard I shattered all the windows in my house! Getta load of this goodness!" She started to take a large breath, Vega watching with wide eyes when a loud whistle went off, alerting them to the host, who was glaring with immense anger.
"No! Stop! You do that again, you're booted! Now both of you get to my right!" Maxine giggled once again, hoping to the right side of the host, while Vega smirked and ran over. "With that out of the way," he muttered with a breath of relief. "Can I get Sakura!" The raven-haired Asian let out a smirk, rising from her seat and strutting to the group, glancing at Wolfe, who also gave a smile in return. Feeling slightly confident, she winked at him.
"Like what you see?" Wolfe shrugged, a smile still on his face.
"I'd say so. Nothing more attractive than a beautiful and confident woman." She blushed slightly, rushing forward to get to her position. Wolfe looked over at the Ocean Blue's, noticing the smirk from Mozart and Daniel. They gave short nods, making him nod back, while Ashley near Wolfe rolled her eyes, and Jessica did the gagging motion.
"Quite the man you are Wolfe. Why don't you go ahead and join Sakura up there with the rest of those campers?" He shrugged, rising up and tapping his cane against the stump. He stood next to Sakura, giving the shorter girl a deep smile, making her fight the urge to blush immensely. Seeing the scene, Chris let out a breath of fresh air.
"Aw, young joyous love. It's in the air and I love it." At that moment, Daniel shot a small look to Julie, who did the same to him, making her blush and look away quickly. Near them, Jessica rolled her eyes, already over it and determined to not join a love triangle. Maxine shot a glance to Vega, who probably would have shared one back, but he was bust cracking his neck with a large smile, which only made the Wild Girl swoon more. Ashley shot an expectant glance at Isaac, and he was looking back at her, each other giving the other a warm smile before Dani coughed, getting both of their attentions.
"Yeah, love. If that's what you want to call it." There was a collective amount of glares sent towards Dani, who shrugged as if to challenge her. Next to her Samara, let out a small sigh.
"You might not want everyone to hate you now that you don't have your father's support." She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, not wanting to admit the brunette was right. With the drama over, Chris cracked his knuckles and picked the stack of papers back up.
"Now that that's done with, I'd like for Jessica to get that grumbly moody butt up here!" He outstretched his arm, gesturing for the girl to join the team. She smirked slightly; while she was indeed a 'grumbly moody butt,' it didn't mean she wasn't determined to win and determined to give it her all.
"Alright sweet, my time to play." She gave a fist pound to Vega, her first friend on the island and shared a determined look with Maxine. She turned to look at the other team, seeing Daniel give her a warm smile, followed by a thumbs up. Her face flushed very briefly, but quickly changed back to her normal tan color; Now's not the time to be distracted.
"My my, we got a player in the mix now. Let's be a little more gentle now though, as Tommy is joining the group! Be nice y'all!" Chris gave a small grin to the little boy, who hopped off his stump with a cheer.
"Oh my goodness! I'm so excited!" He rushed over to the team, all the girls cooing in joy, but Joshlyn was wearing a frown, catching Sarah give off a weird expression.
(Confessional Cam)
Sarah - "I coulda swore… It was like he clenched his little fists in anger. I don't know if I'm gonna be trusting that kid. He's cute and all, but that's the perfect excuse for a criminal swine!"
Tommy - "/He's shaking slightly before letting out a roar and jumping to the top of the stump, his eyes angry/ Play nice!? /His childish voice is gone, now a deeper and angrier voice there/ I will rip these children apart and that dang host has the audacity!/ I should feed him to the sharks! /He growls/ No matter. I shall play my part as long as I need…
"Let's all be good fwiends!" They all cooed once more, with Laura patting the childs head. From next to them, Chris let out a content sigh, resting his head on the podium, with his arm holding him up.
"Aren't children the darndest?" Tommy chuckled slightly, but it still felt off to Sarah, but she wasn't able to dwell on it since her name was called next.
"Get down here Sarah!" She smiled, not wanting to show her confusion and joined up with the other 9 people. Before she could talk to anyone, Joshlyn walked up, her name being called next.
"Thanks." Was all she said before standing next to Sarah, bumping her shoulder with the blond. Sarah looked towards the taller girl, a confused look on her face.
"I saw that look earlier," she began with a whisper, making Sarah widen her eyes a little. "I want to ask you more about that later, but when we have time." Sarah gave the athletic girl a curt nod, facing forward again as Laura's name was called.
"Oh thanks Chris! I was wondering when my time was to come. Can you have the crew come and grab my bags and such? Thanks." Chris chuckled, snapping his fingers and pointing at her.
"Ha, no." But as he said it, several crew members appeared, hearts in their eyes and taking her stuff towards the cabins. Chris groaned, facepalming slightly before shouting out. "I would like to remind everyone that the people here are all minors. Remember that!" Mozart and Vega chuckled slightly, but most of the girls looked grossed out by the members, except for Dani and Laura.

Dani - "Yes, we all know men are pigs. But hey, that's some power right there to control them with a soft voice and a wink of the eyes. /She smiles but sighs slightly/ This is not going to be a fun competition, is it?"
Laura - "I mean, duh I'm not going to do anything, but it's so nice to be nice to people! They always do stuff for you like that." /She smiles at the camera absently/
"Anyway, for our final camper, I need Ashley to get her tookus over here!" Ashley was wearing a frown, but rose from her seat anyway, walking towards the only people she felt were the sanest; Sarah, Joshlyn and Jess.
"Howdy friends. I guess I am on your team, never would have guessed that, huh?" Joshlyn rolled her eyes, but gave a soft smile as she did it, which was repeated by both of the other girls.
"Alright now that we have you separated, you guys are going to be," He chucked a flag towards them, Maxine snatching it before Sakura could catch it, making the Japanese girl growl. "The Great Whites!" She unfurled the flag as he said it, revealing a gray flag with a logo of an angry white shark on it. The team cheered slightly as Chris spoke up once more.
"Now let me ask you all. How much of the original Total Drama Island do you all remember?" He looked over at the crowd, walking away away from them so he could get a full view of the two teams standing opposite from him.
"I mean," Jim spoke up, a hand on his neck. "I kinda stopped watching after Cody got booted." Chris raised his eyebrows, about to speak but was cut off by Wolfe.
"Yeah, honestly the same. Except for me, it was when Eva and Izzy returned. Felt unfair to me so I stopped tuning in."
"Heather reading Gwen's diary," Leo spoke with a frown, shaking his head. "Most dishonorable." While most agreed, Dani shrugged slightly, looking towards a camera with an indifferent expression.
"When Courtney and Duncan finally found their love and she was cutting loose, only to be kicked." Julie shook her head, a small tear falling. "Love was dead, and so was my love for the show." Jess rolled her eyes, and even Daniel gave the girl a weird look.
"Hold on, hold on!" Chris shouted before Maxine could speak up. "Are you telling me that literally none of you watched Total Drama Island?" There was a couple of murmurs, but no one dared to look at the host except for Johnny. ("I watched the show over 20 times!") "Why did you even audition for the second season?"
"You don't remember?" Samara asked, tilting her head slightly. Chris had a confused expression on his face. Before he could ask, Vega spoke up.
"Bud, you advertised for the second season before the first season even aired. I honestly forgot I submitted an audition until I got the call about this season. There was a wave of agreement as Chris turned towards Chef, a horror-stricken look on his face. Chef shrugged at the man, folding his arms.
"You did advertise fairly early. Most of these guys were the first people to audition. Don't you remember only spending an hour looking at tapes?" Chris turned towards the campers, ignoring their angry glares at the host.
"Anyhoo!" He shouted through his sweating, a nervous smile on his face. "We are bringing back an oldy for this first challenge, so go explore your new cabins and meet back in the center of camp in your swimsuits in 2 hours! Alright, fun bye!" Chris zoomed out, leaving the campers to their own volition.
(Confessional Cam)
Julie - "Look, Total Drama was good. It kind of just dropped off after a bit though. I guess we are in the minority though, since it had such powerful ratings! Hopefully they enjoy us though!" /She goes to make a sweeping motion with her hand, accidently smacking the side of the outhouse and knocking the camera off its hook/
Joshlyn - "I guess now that we have sometime I can ask Sarah more about that look from earlier. If I have a hunch, it definitely has to do with that Tommy brat. Ugh. Sometimes kids can be so annoying."
Samara - "Alright sweet! I can use this as a chance to talk to Dani now. Everyone will hopefully ignore us to go talk to the actual favorable people and look at the beds. I got to play my cards right though…"
"Hey Dani." Samara spoke up, walking towards the New Queen, who raised her eyebrow, questioning the girl. "I just wanted to check in on you and see how you were doing. A lot just happened." Dani sighed, continued walking, but slowed her pace so Samara could walk with her, while everyone else was walking faster.
"I see what you are doing and sorry, even without the support of my stupid parents, I'm no easy mark. I plan on making a dent and winning still." Samara laughed a little, stopping her walk, which in turn made Dani stop.
"Don't be silly! I have no intentions of taking advantage of you or trying to play you! That would be so mean and…" She slowed her talk to look around, everyone having made it to the cabins and leaving the two alone, "Stupid." She spoke with a hint of scheming in her voice, making Dani smirk slightly. Her friendly persona was gone, replaced by an evil smirk.
"There we go. That's the Samara I could smell." The Auburn haired girl let out a short laugh as her deep blue eyes met the contacted blue's of Dani's.
"Of course. Only a snake can identify a fellow snake." Dani crossed her arms, raising an eyebrow, but continuing her walk, Samara following suit.
"Be careful who you call a snake. I'm more of a lion. I'll fight you to your face, but I can see how beneficial it would be to hide your intentions. Now let's stop beating around the bush and let's talk terms."
(Confessional Cam)
Dani - "Trust Samara? Ha, no. The girl is beneficial because she's a schemer, but in the end, two votes are better than one. I don't think I'll ever trust a snake.
Samara - /She snorts before chuckling a little/ "A lion? Oh that's funny. I don't trust the girl one bit, but hopefully we can keep each other in the game a little longer. And if anything happens and we are found out? Well, I can just blame Dani for forcing poor little weak Samara into it. This is my game now."
(Great Whites - Girls Side)
"This place is a dump." Jess muttered, dropping her bags to the floor and immediately crossing her arms. The cabin was fairly simple, 2 bunk beds on each side, totalling 8 beds, with 3 windows and dressers all around. The floor was a simple wooden floor with a rug on it, but that was about it. Unlike Jess, Joshlyn walked in and sniffed the air, a smile on her face.
"It's just like camp. I used to go to camp a lot with my dad for training and honestly, this cabin is better than some of the ones I spent time in." She walked towards the bed that was closest to the window and dropped her begs, climbing the ladder and laying on one of the top bunks. "Top bunk also." Jess smirked, sitting on the bed under Joshlyn, ignoring the spring that popped out of the bed.
"That's fine with me. I like the cold anyway, and I bet it's colder down here." At that same moment, the door was kicked open, both teens looking towards the door, only to see Maxine with a huge grin on her face, her arms full of luggage, and Sarah with an embarrassing red tint on her face.
"You really didn't need to get my bags Max. I believed you when you said you've lifted a beached whale before." Joshlyn and Jess snickered slightly, while Maxine shook her head and let go of the bags, letting it all fall to the floor.
"But that was so obviously a lie, so I had to show you in real terms how powerful I can be, and now you see it and now you must truly believe." Sarah groaned more, her head plopping into her palm.
"I think she believes you Max. You truly are a beast." Maxine let out a small flex at Joshlyn's words and plopped into the lower bed across from Jess and Joshlyn. Sarah mouthed a small thanks to the girls and laid in the lower bed directly next to Jess, a sigh of relief escaping her lips.
"Is it okay with you girls if I take a bed to myself? I'd really appreciate that." They all looked towards the door to see Laura stepping in, a small genuine smile on her face as she pointed to the bed closest to the door. Jess glanced up to Joshlyn, who also looked towards Sarah.
"Uh, I don't think we mind, but you should probably wait for-" Sarah wasn't able to finished before Laura let out a quick shout of joy and placed her already there luggage on the bottom bunk before climbing the ladder and laying on the top, a scowl on her face.
"Not the most comfortable beds, are they?" Jess and Joshlyn started to laugh a bit, not hearing Ashley and Sakura walk in, both of them chatting about something in a different language.
"Oh oh oh? Y'all both speak Japanese? That's so cool! I started learning French but man was it hard. I can only say like three things. Fromage. See. Betcha don't know what I just said huh?" Maxine started rambling, sitting up with a defiant smirk as all the girls watched her with a collective sweatdrop down all their faces.
"Uh… Cheese?" Ashley broke the silence, looking at Maxine's shocked expression.
"She knows French… She's just as powerful as me." Before anyone could say anything else, she grabbed the blanket and hid under it, them only seeing a large bump from under the covers.
"Anyway," Ashley spoke, putting her bags down next to Sarah's bed. "Is it cool if I share your bunk?" Sarah smiled and gave her a small nod, which Ashley responded with her own smile before climbing up the ladder to put her bags. From the other side, Sakura put her own bags next to Laura's bed, and was about to speak when the brunette spoke up, a frown on her face.
"Uh, I'm sorry, but I'd really like the bed to myself, but Maxine's is open!" She added with a gleeful after thought, pointing to the bed next to them, but Sakura let out a massive frown, putting her hands on her hips.
"It's a bunk bed. Why on earth do you need both beds? Let me take the bottom bunk!" Laura scowled, shaking her head and folding her arms from her position on the top bunk.
"It's for my bags and stuff. I have so many things and I need the extra space." Growling, Sakura dropped her bags on the floor and started to push Laura's things off, making her gasp and drop down, grabbing her own stuff and struggling against Sakura, both of them groaning and growling.
Behind them, Joshlyn, Jess and Sarah all sighed, shutting their eyes in anguish while Ashley watched with pursed lips, annoyance faintly on her face, while Maxine remained under her covers in her own world.
(Confessional Cam)
Joshlyn - "I guess it was too much to ask for us all to get along easily, huh? At least Jess, Sarah and Ashley seem chill. Maxine is fine, they are just a little crazy. That Laura and Sakura seem like a little much though…"
Sakura - "Why does that Laura need both beds? I don't want to bunk with the crazy girl but I have to because some prima donna demands having two beds? What does she need them for her giant badongas? /She groans and face palms/ This island is bringing out anger in little old nervous me."
Maxine - "She speaks three languages then? That's power. She can go almost anywhere with power! She can just switch languages and play the fool! Maybe Ashley's also a spy? Hmmm…"
Ashley - "I don't speak French. Everyone knows what fromage means. I do speak Japanese though and it's nice meeting someone else besides Isaac that can speak it. Although it does seem like Sakura has a bit of a short temper, so hopefully I don't anger her with something dumb."
Jess - "Well, that was a nice start to our living quarters! /She lets out a loud groan and slumps her shoulders/ I'm really dreading this new adventure I decided to embark on.
Sarah - "Alrighty then. The girls living with us are vastly different. But hey! I bet we can make this work! As long as maybe Laura isn't a rich girl. /She chuckles/"
(Ocean Blues - Boys Side)
"Gotta say, that's a beauty man." Isaac stopped at the door to his cabin, his backpack slumped around his shoulder and his guitar in his left hand. Mozart was standing in the door, eyeing his guitar. "I got the eye for them and that's Magnifico!" Isaac gave him a small nod, a smile on his face.
"Thanks. I've had this guy in my life for a bit. Was actually a gift." Mozart whistled out as Isaac walked past him, Isaac seeing that Daniel and Jim were already in the cabin, getting themselves set up.
"Whoa, so we got two guitar players here? That's so awesome! I've always wanted to learn guitar, but I have such tiny hands and it's hard." Jim said with a frown, taking a quick bite from a candy bar in his hand.
"Nah man, anyone can learn. If I'm in the game long enough, I'm more than happy to teach you some stuff." Jim's frown morphed to a smile at Isaac's words, but Daniel let out a small scoff.
"If? Come on man, don't be so pessimistic. As long as we do good, we should be here a nice long time. I think you'll be fine." Isaac was expecting a derogatory mark from the scoff, but was pleasantly surprised as the compliment.
"Thanks man. You're right. Hey, is it cool if I get top bunk?" Daniel gestured forward, allowing him to take the ladder.
"Fine by me. I prefer the cold anyway, so that's why I'm going with the lower bunk near the window." near them, Jim shivered at thinking about the cold.
"Yikes, no thanks! I can't stand the cold. I need it to be nice and hot for me!" Isaac laughed slightly at the child, but Mozart sat down on the bed across from Jim, a confused look on his face.
"You don't like the cold? But how does none of your candy melt?" Isaac and Daniel shared a look from top and bottom bunk before looking back at Jim, curious expressions on their faces. Jim suddenly looked very serious, looking directly into Mozart's eyes.
"You're asking some dangerous questions right there Mozart. Questions better left unanswered. Questions above your paygrade." The room was silent as they all questioned Jim's suddenly serious demeanor, but it was broken by a quick laugh from Jim, who also took another bite of his candy. "Nah, I'm just playing. My head has a very cold temperature. Wish I could explain it. They never melt, but hey, I ain't complaining!" As he laughed about the candy, Leo walked into the cabin, his backpack on his back and his sword sheathed at his side.
"Hello all. I see you are all getting acquainted and I wish you good blessings." Daniel smirked a bit at the mans greeting, giving him a small nod of hello, as did Isaac.
"Well hey there! Nice sword also, I thought weapons weren't allowed on the island though?" Jim spoke, stretching his hand out to shake the man's hand. Leo scoffed slightly, but reluctantly shook the enthusiastic boys hand.
"I spoke to him already. To part with Shadedra would tear my very soul apart. We are binded by the strings of fate and I cannot abandon him, for it will only bring reckoning to us all." He closed his eyes and clenched his fist as he spoke, so he didn't see the three boys behind Jim all exchange skeptical looks.
"Haha, thats how me and Branchy are!" All the heads shifted to the door to see Luke walk in with a large smile, his bag in one hand and his branch, Branchy in the other. "We are so inseparable that it would be the end of the world if we were apart!" Leo's eye twitched slightly as he walked closer to Luke, glaring him down.
"You dare trivialize the symbiotic relationship I share with a literal demon bound to my sword to end my enemies with your twig?" Luek gasped, throwing his bag to the ground and pointing towards Branchy.
"How dare you call him a twig? He is a strong branch and I guarantee he could destroy your stupid sword!" It was Leo's turn to gasp, clutching the hilt of his sword.
"You and your flimsy wood would be destroyed the mere touch of Shadedra, boy!" Luke let out another gasp, clutching Branchy harder. The other 4 boys all watched in amazement and the back and forth between the two.
(Confessional Cam)
Jim - "It was going so well too! /He groans, grabbing his beanie and pulling it down over his eyes/ I have hope though still! /He lifts the beanie up, a smile on his face./ We can all get along in the Ocean Blues!"
Mozart - "Ugh, this is going to be hell in this cabin if I'm going to have to listen to those two idioti argue 24/7. I might be punk rock, but I still need my beauty sleep! It's not punk to be a moron.
Daniel - "So at first I thought Luke was the only crazy one but Leo thinks he has a demon in his sword? Okay, sure that's cool. /He folds his arms and shakes his head with a groan, but stops and places a hand on his cheek/ But what if we are the fools and that kid actually has a demon in his sword?"
Isaac - "I'm used to arguing, so I think I will be fine in toning out the cries of those two. Plus I got my headphones and my guitar, so I can just relax and be in my zone."
Luke - "How dare that stupid man try to insult Branchy like that? I won't be able to live in this cabin with that deranged man and his anger. Some people are just crazy."
Leo - "I don't think I can live with such a dishonorable fool! For him to insult Shadedra like that, he is practically begging to be slain and spending eternity in the pits due to Shadedra's will!"
(Great Whites - Boys Side)
"So we get our own individual bunk beds?" Vega asked, looking at Wolfe with a large grin.
"Well hey. We only got 4 people in here, so no reason for us to actually use the bunk beds, you know what I mean?" Wolfe stated, placing his bag and cane down near the bed closest to the door. Vega fist pumped in the air, throwing his bags and skateboard on the top bunk, across the way from Wolfe, and hopped into his own bed, making him immediately frown.
"Oh these beds are so not choice man." Wolfe laughed, opening his own bag and starting to actually unpack.
"Yeah they aren't the best, but I wasn't expecting much when it came to this show though." Vega scoffed, now laying with his hands folded behind his head.
"Psh you're telling me? I don't expect anything from that loser Chris McLean. What a joke it is, having that annoying dick as the host." Wolfe opened his mouth to respond, but someone else's voice came out instead.
"You take that back!" Wolfe and Vega looked towards the door to see Johnny and Tommy standing there, Johnny with a large scowl and his face super red. "You don't talk about Chris like that!" His fists were clenched and he was radiating anger, but Vega merely laughed it off, not feeling intimidated in the slightest.
"Heh, buzz off fanboy. I ain't in the mood to hear your yelling." Instead of backing off, Johnny rushed towards the bed, throwing his bags to the floor.
"Like hell I will! I won't just sit idly by while someone in my own room badmouths the host with the most himself! So you better watch yourself!" Vega was starting to get annoyed and rose from the bed, standing directly in front of Johnny. Wolfe himself was intimidated by the difference in the two men; while Johnny was in no way out of shape or overweight, he seemed to be almost a stick compared to the large mass of muscles known as Vega. Standing almost a head taller than him, Vega let out an exhale of air, glaring down at the fanboy.
"You're starting to piss me off… That's something you don't want to do. Last man to piss me off is currently eating through a tube, so I'd recommend that you watch yourself. Aight, kid?" Johnny let out a gulp, but he still held his ground, glaring up at the man with determination.
"I don't care how much of a behemoth you are. I won't allow you to badmouth Chris like that. You hit me and you'll be booted from the show right away! Maybe you weren't paying attention to that part, were you?" Johnny smirked, while Vega let out a snarl and started to yell at the boy, who started to yell back. While the two argued, Wolfe gulped and took Tommy's bags, placing them down and taking the boy's hand.
"We should probably get out of here for awhile."
(Confessional Cam)
Wolfe - "I'm kinda glad Johnny came in when he did. I was about to badmouth Chris too, and I would hate to have that annoying fanboy down my throat. But I don't really remember anything about Chris saying we can't fight each other? I mean, it makes sense, but I don't remember that. I do remember Vega having to have some special contract though."
Chris McLean - "Yeah, that's ridiculous! I love it when campers fight! Adds to the drama. I should probably tell them that it's encouraged later! /Chris laughs while a hand extends to him with a note card. He reads it and frowns as the hand leaves/ I have once again been informed by Jenette that for legal reasons, I should not tell any of the campers that fighting is encouraged. Either way, if it happens, I'm not punishing anyone. We can just forget about Vega's contract"
Johnny - "Okay, yes I made that up about fighting, but can you blame me? The dude's arms are literal cannons! I just kinda sprang to Chris' defense, even though that Vega guy is hella scary! I'm sure I could dodge him if he does try to hit me since he does look a little slow, but oh boy if he did get me… Well, that wouldn't be good for me."
Vega - "Little brat is lucky! I need to do good here or else I would have ended that man's entire career. This contract is so lame! Ugh, I'm so pissed off now! I need to smash something… Maybe some of that alcohol me and Mozart smuggled in. /He laughs slightly, his arms folded now/ Sorry confessional cam, but I'll never tell!"
Tommy - "Damn that Wolfe! I wanted to see those two rip each other apart, but no! He just had to go and take me out of the room! Ugh, he's lucky I have to keep up this facade or I would have unleashed the dogs on his ass!"
(Ocean Blues - Girls Side)
"Knock knock?" Julie looked up from her bag, confusion on her face.
"Uh… Come in?" The cabin door was open to reveal Wolfe and Tommy, the ponytailed man giving the blonde girl a small smile.
"Hey, uh sorry to barge in. Our cabin seems to be having a bit of a brawl in it at the moment… and so do the girls of our cabin. And the boys in yours. So this seemed the safest bet so far." She chuckled slightly, folding her arms and pointing towards the wall behind her.
"Yeah, I uh, thought I had heard a bit of banging on the wall. Was too scared to check it out, but yeah I'm pretty sure they are brawling in there." She felt helt rise to her face now, as she suddenly realized she was basically alone with a cute guy! She didn't have much time to dwell on it before Tommy walked up to her, waving slightly.
(AN: Whenever Tommy speaks, assume it's in his lispy baby voice unless specified. It's hard to write and hard to read his voice, so this might make it easier for readers.)
"Hello! You're Julie right?" Her red tint suddenly vanished as she immediately got stars in her eyes and bent over to talk to the child.
"Hi! Yes, that's me! And you're Tommy, right?" He got excited and nodded excitedly. While the two talked, neither noticed the frowning Wolfe in the corner, muttering about babies and cute girls.
"Is there a reason there is a boy in our cabin, or did we swap and I didn't get the memo?" Wolfe looked over his shoulder to see Alexa shouldering a large bag behind her, and Dakota next to her with a large eager grin on her face.
"Oh, I'm fine with it, it's a tasty one! Can I feel your arms?" Dakota rushed towards Wolfe and started feeling his biceps before he could answer. While Wolfe was slightly embarrassed, he refused to let his cool guy demeanor crash and instead gave a smile, looking directly at Alexa.
"I guess it's fine. Do you want to as well?" He gave a bit of a flirty smile, while Tommy watched in wonder and Julie had a horror-stricken look on her face. Dakota giggled slightly, muttered 'boop' to herself while she touched the Gentleman, but Alexa stared with a stoic face.
"Hard pass." Wolfe maintained his composure until Dakota started laughing, falling to the floor and flailing her legs around.
"Haha, she rejected you hard! Boy that sucks huh!" Wolfe was standing with grit teeth, trying to ignore Daktota, while Alexa merely started putting her stuff on the bed, glancing over at Julie.
"I'm good to take this one? I assume Dakota is gonna want to bunk with me." Julie shook off her shock and immediately nodded afterwards, making Alexa raise an eyebrow.
"S-sorry! You're fine to take that one!" Alexa nodded, resuming taking her stuff out while Dakota gasped from the floor, shuffling towards a shaking Tommy.
"Alexa look! A baby! You should greet it!" She spoke with hearts in her eyes, touching the child's belly, making him giggle slightly.
"I'm fine. He almost got me once, and everybody gets one, so I'm chill now," she answered without turning around. Dakota frowned slightly, and she opened her mouth to speak, but the cabin door opened once more, this time allowing Dani and Samara to step in.
"Oh hi everyone!" Samara started, waving to everyone with her free hand, but Alexa and Dakota were already leveling glares at the white girl next to Samara, who looked annoyed to be carrying her own bags. (Wolfe was still frozen in shock, processing, while Tommy looked in wonder and Julie looked scared to upset anyone)
"So you're friends with the villain huh?" Alexa spat, now fully turning with her arms folded and a scowl on her face. From behind her, Dakota mimicked her movement, but also stuck her tongue out. Samara went to speak, but she was cut off by Dani, who dropped her things to the ground, placing a hand on her hip.
"Don't be mad that someone is smart and makes smart decisions. Use your brain next time." Dani smirked at the rocker, who already dropped her black jacket to the floor, cracking her knuckles and advancing forward when Samara stopped her in her tracks with her voice.
"Dani! What did we just talk about?" Samara shouted, anger laced in her voice, which made Julie and Tommy gulp, and caused Dakota to hide in one corner. Dani snarled, and blew one of the strands of hair in her face outta the way.
"Fine," she spat through gritted teeth, looking at the now confused Alexa. "Samara has informed me that I might be… mean." She ignored the scoff from Alexa. "So I apologize for being very rude." She turned away and walked towards the farthest bed, glancing at Tommy for a moment. He waved to her, but she shook her head, muttering 'gross.' Samara sighed, shrugging her shoulders.
"Sorry. That's why I was hanging with her and trying to be friendly with her. I'm not expecting anyone to be friends with her, but I think we should just try to be friendly with each other here." Alexa bit her lip, nodding slightly. She looked towards Dani once more, lingering for a moment before getting back to her own stuff in her bed. With the drama now gone, Samara looked at Wolfe, giggling a bit.
"Is there a reason you're here? Just like hanging out with the girls, huh?" She gave him a soft wink, but in his frazzled state, he just nodded, walking out of the cabin towards his own. Seeing him leave, Tommy panicked, rushing out of their room.
"Oh no, I gotta go. Bye girls!" They all giggled (sans Dani and Alexa) as the child stumbled out, almost tripping.
(Confessional Cam)
Julie - "Oof. Here I was thinking maybe Wolfe and I could maybe be a thing. / She sighs then looks at the camera with a small scowl/ Don't look at me like that! I'm not exclusive with anyone yet! I don't know what will come of this island yet! I've never even had a boyfriend! I don't want to keep my sights on the first guy I met. /She crosses her arms and pouts, but suddenly giggles, touching her mouth/ Daniel is pretty cute though. No stop Julie! /She lightly slaps her face, her back hitting the outhouse and causing the camera to fall/ Ugh, again?"
Dakota - "I don't care what anyone says, that Dani has a stick up her butt and she's a massive pain! I can tell right now this is all a facade and she's a liar and is plotting! What she's plotting, well I haven't gotten that far yet, but I know she has some evil intentions up her sleeve!"
Alexa - "Huh. Well, that didn't go as expected. Either way, like Samara was saying, I don't gotta be friends with her. I'll be chill and deal with her, but if she steps outta line, I'll be one of the first to hit her down. On God. /There is a knocking on the cabin and Alexa groans, putting her face in her hands/ But first I need to get Dakota to stop being stuck to my hip."
Dakota - /Holding up a photo of an annoyed looking Alexa leaving the outhouse on her phone/ "And this is from moments ago when Alexa was trying to leave and I wanted to show her this really dope looking squirrel I saw! Oh! Oh! And here is one of Alexa when we were deciding on teams! Oh also here's Alexa when-" /Screen fizzles out/
Dani - "So this is Samara's big old plan. Be nice? These are teenagers! They don't just don't play nice with the bitch! Because the bitch is a bitch to them! I know this because I'm the bitch! /She sighs/ Once people see I'm 'nice' and a good competitor, I guess this will all be worth it. Because then we can start getting rid of all the plebs standing in my way! Starting with that pesky Alexa!"
Samara - "See, if we do this, people are going to assume that Dani is realizing without her parents support, she's a target and she's trying to make herself not a target. Of course people won't take her seriously, but that works with Dani! She can't help being a jerk, so the gritted teeth and reluctant niceness is only going to sell the image so much better! /She laughs, brushing her hair/ Sometimes I impress even myself.
After everyone was settled and in their respective cabins, the horn signaled, leading the campers to the center of camp, all now undressed and in their swimming attire. One of the first ones there was Vega, who was standing shirtless with black knee length trunks on, silvery flames shooting around the legs. While he was grumbling about Johnny and children, he was interrupted from his thoughts by a whistle.
"Damn boy, you over here rocking the 8 pack!" Vega turned over to the voice, almost stopping himself from whistling. Maxine was approaching, wearing a baby blue bikini with one tiny pink heart on one of the breast designs. Vega smirked, unintentionally flexing a bit.
"Yeah, I could say the same to you, girl! I see that indent of muscle there!" Maxine blushed slightly, giving him a psshaw like motion.
"What can I say, I love to swim and those swimmers get hella in shape, dog!" She laughed at her own words, not able to stop herself from talking. "Boy, why did I say that, I never say dog and it sounds like I'm doing racial stereotypes and now I'm talking about race, who does that? What am I doing? Hi." She gave a cheeky smile to Vega, the red tint even more prominent on her face. Vega simply laughed, giving her a light pat on the shoulder.
"Man Maxi, you a trip. I like you. You're wild." She smiled, but before she could answer, another voice spoke up.
"Oh boo! I hope everyone isn't going to be extremely fit like you guys." Sarah muttered out, walking towards the duo with her hands on her hips. Unlike Maxine, she was wearing a black one piece swimsuit. "I try, I do, but it's hard for me to gain weight! Fat or muscle!" While Sarah pouted, she felt a soft pat on her shoulder and turned to see Jessica, a reassuring smile on her face.
"Hey man, I feel you. Do you really want to be a meathead though?" Jessica was wearing a red bikini top, as well as a pair of black shorts. She wasn't as toned as Maxine was, but she definitely had more muscle on her body than Sarah did. She leaned in and whispered in Sarah's ear. "I mean, do you want to be like that." She gestured to Vega and Maxine, who were both whopping as they waited for everyone to arrive. Sarah chuckled and shook her head, a smile blush on her cheeks.
"You know, you have a great point. Thanks Jess." Jessica nodded, patting the girls shoulder before walking towards the duo. Sarah felt herself glance down as Jess passed before quickly shaking her head and looking up, her face a deep scarlet.

Sarah - /She shrugs her shoulders and mumbles incoherently, her face still bright red/
"Wow, we are one of the first ones here! Guess we beat that stupid Leo, didn't we Branchy?" Luke arrived with a pant, holding up Branchy and wearing almost the exact same clothes. Almost immediately, Leo rushed forward, glaring at Luke, but not panting. He was wearing his normal black sleeveless shirt, but now had red swim shorts on.
"You only beat me because you used cheap tactics and dishonorable intentions!" Luke laughed and Leo and stuck his tongue out at the man, who still had his sword strapped to his side.
"Oh boo hoo, cry me a river!" Leo was starting to unsheathe his sword in anger, while everyone watched with mild amusement.
"He says cheap tactics, but he just tripped. Doubt Leo will mention that though." Jess looked to her side to see Daniel, wearing a pair of whtie and black swim shorts and a white t-shirt. Instead of the normal smile, she gave him a blank greeting and looked back ahead.
"Oh hey, Daniel." He chuckled a little, folding his arms.
"So, I'm gonna assume you're mad at me, huh? Well hopefully I can make that up to you in some way. You'll have to let me know what I can do for you." There was a hint of a flirty overtone in his voice, making Jess crack a small smile.
"Okay, alright. I'll have to get back to you on that and let you know." They looked into each other's eyes for a few seconds before Isaac arrived, startling the two, who both looked away with a faint blush on their faces.
"Is it just me or is everyone just super ripped here?" Isaac was wearing black swim trunks with a red wrench on one of the legs, and was shirtless, showing off his skinny body.
"I don't know what you're saying man, you're shredded." Daniel spoke, eyeing the man up and down, making him grumble and shoot a glare at Daniel.
"Speaking of that, you're the only guy in a shirt, well besides crazy stick man… What, are you self conscious too?" Daniel raised an eyebrow, scoffing.
"What, me, self-conscious? Yeah right." Isaac joined Jess's side, a smirk on his face.
"Yeah right, you're probably as nervous as hell also with all these ripped people, Bet you got a gut, don't you?" Jess chuckled slightly, but Daniel didn't find it as humorous as they did. Regardless, he took his shirt off, immediately making Jess gasp and Isaac frown.
"That better?" While not as toned as Vega, Daniel still had defined muscles and a light sixpack. Isaac started to grumble, but neither him, nor Daniel nor Jessica noticed Julie, looking with her eyes wide and mouth open.
(Confessional Cam)
Julie - /Sprays herself with a cold bottle of water/
Isaac - "Well, that backfired immensely."
Daniel - /Grinning/ My clothes kind of hide my physique, but I do several sports related activities, so I'm at least somewhat in shape."
Jess - "Well, then… I've never been happier to be proved wrong."
"Wow!" Jessica and Isaac both turned to see Julie, who was staring at Daniel, not even noticing them. "You definitely hide all those well!" She giggled slightly, making Daniel laugh a bit, placing his own hands at his hips, flexing slightly. Isaac rolled his eyes while Jess growled noticing that their attire was almost the same; they both had red tops, only Julie was wearing a tanktop instead of a bikini top, but they both had black swim shorts on.
"Yeah, thanks. I do some stuff that helps me stay in shape, you know?" She nodded and before Jess could speak up, a voice next to her chimed in.
"Calm down there a bit Julie. Looks like you'll need a cold shower. And jeez Daniel, you know it's not cool to flex and try and seem like an alpha." Joshlyn walked up in a purple bikini, giving Jess a small smirk. Julie blushed slightly and made an excuse to leave and quickly vanished, while Daniel did the same, saying he wished to see Leo and Luke fight more.
"Thanks for the support J." Jess spoke up, sticking a fist out so Joshlyn could fist pound it.
"No doubt girl, but you better get your stuff straightened. Guys love the naive girls they can protect especially alpha guys. And let me tell you this. He might seem like a nice guy, but that man gives off straight alpha vibes. Show him he needs a strong girl." She gave a small piece sign before walking towards the center, talking to Maxine (Who was now doing a handstand) and Vega.
"What did she mean by that?" Isaac asked, but Jessica blushed and looked away, saying that she had to go check something out. With a sigh, Isaac shook his head, not hearing the person come behind him.
"Gotta say, never was the biggest fan of swim clothes." Issac jumped slightly with a yelp and turned to see Ashley behind him, a faint hint of red on her face. She was wearing tight black swim shorts that barely went to the halfway point between her butt and knee and a black bikini top. Instead of reacting with amazement, like Ashley was expecting, Isaac simply caught his breath and gave the asian girl a small glare.
"Scared the crap outta me Ash. How are you so sneaky?" Despite her disappointment in Isaac not acknowledging her body, she let out a small laugh and shrugged.
"What can I say, maybe I am a ninja." The two laughed and began to chat in a friendly manner as Alexa and Dakota arrived in the camp center.
Alexa was wearing a black bikini bottom, with a black shirt on, while Dakota was frowning, wearing a black bikini and swim shorts combo.
"I really do think they were in the right though. I don't know why you even packed it?" Dakota was still frowning at Alexa's words, but let out an exasperated gasp.
"Because it was hella cute! Sure, it barely covered anything, but it was just the spice the show would have wanted. I know you wanted it Chris! I know you wanted my babbles!" Alexa gave a deadpan look to one of the camera's in the area while Dakota shouted to the heavens.
"Things not to say for $1000 Mr. Trebek." As they talked it out, Mozart and Jim arrived from their cabin, them both discussing which candy was better; Three Musketeers or Snickers.
"Look, I'm just saying," Mozart began, who was wearing black swim trunks with flames on them and showing off his six pack, "3 M has that nice nougat in it and it's so much better." Jim scoffed, doing the psshaw motion.
"And I get that," Jim countered, who was wearing swim trunks with a video game character on it and his trademark hat. "But the caramel and hardness of Snickers is what makes it the top tear candy." Mozart snorted, shaking his head as the two continued to bicker when Sakura walked out towards the center, looking a little nervous.
"Oh Kami, everyone here is so skinny and in shape and I'm so not!" She started, feeling nervous in her dark blue bikini. While everyone else did seem to be either skinny or in shape, Sakura was in no means considered fat, as she only had a little bit of pudge on her, but it didn't look bad at all.
"I would still say your beautiful, my lovely." Sakura almost jumped, but held her composure to see Wolfe standing next to her, a smile on his face and his hand outreached. Like Daniel, he had a light six pack and was wearing light green and black swim shorts. Sakura was screaming internally, but at the last second changed to her cool facade, and scoffed at Wolfe.
"What does me not being skinny have to do with being beautiful?" She started, her eyes closed and nose upturned, not seeing Wolfe start to panic at his blunder. "But I'm sure you can make it up to me. Let's go down there." She took his hand, Wolfe blowing out a small sigh of relief as they walked down to the other campers. From behind them, a trio consisting of Johnny, Laura and Tommy was leaving the cabin, Laura and Johnny discussing Chris, while Tommy waddled with them, but if one looked close enough, you could see the small rage on his face.
"Like, he just does everything right and he's so famous! It's so cool!" Johnny started, a squeal on his face. Like most of the guys, he was wearing black trunks with a flame on the side legs. Laura nodded to the boy, and she was wearing a white bikini that barely hid her large breasts, but luckily she was with Chris-obsessed Johnny and a literal child, so she wasn't worried about getting ogled.
"Yeah, I mean there are some really famous people out there, but Chris is pretty cool. It's pretty cool to be on an island with a celebrity. I mean, I usually am with celebrities but that's not something everyone can experience!" Johnny nodded, and started to ramble more about Chris while Tommy grumbled in annoyance, but no one heard him. He was wearing blue trunks that had a cartoon character on them.
"Well… Moment of truth…" Dani muttered to herself, walking towards the camper center in her blue and white striped monokini, a hold cut in the middle. Behind her, Samara was walking in a neon green bikini, a smile on her face. Once the two girls got to the center of the camp, all conversations stopped from the other 20 as they all looked over at her.
"Hi…" Dani began, biting her lip and looking slightly nervous. "I know we all got off on the wrong foot and.. And well I'm not gonna mince words, I just wanted to say I'm sorry and I don't expect any forgiveness but I don't want to lose and I want to play fair and get far, thank you!" Dani quickly turned, not wanting to look at anyone and started to head towards the camp's center, where CHris was starting to walk towards. If Dani looked, she would have saw a sea of mixed emotions, people not believing her, and people that didn't care, and people that thought she was changing for the better. Samara gave them all a quick wave before Chris arrived, clapping his hands together.
"Alright campers, you all look perfect and ready! Now, do you remember me asking if y'all really remember Total Drama? Well, that's because today is going to be a throwback to that!" As the campera murmured among themselves, Sarah scoffed, folding her arms over her chest.
"What even? What, are we going to do the first challenge and jump off a thousand foot cliff?"
(Tallest point of Wawanakwa, Edge of 1,000 ft. cliff)
Sarah stood with a nervous expression on her face while Jessica, Joshlyn and Ashley all glared down at her.
