Greensnap Gingersnap part 24

"Ed, come here!"
Edward looked up from his book when he heard Ginger's voice coming from the kitchen. "What is it, Gingersnap?"
"It's a surprise! Come look!"
Edward got up and headed into the kitchen, where he was met with a strange sight. His kitchen table was covered with boxes of glazed donuts, but all of them were vibrant green...
"I have some green donuts for you, Edward." Ginger gestured to the green donuts she was sitting by. "As you can see, the pigment of these green donuts is a pretty green color. The green color of these donuts does not affect the flavor of the donuts, they taste like regular glazed donuts...but they're green in color."
"Aww, thanks, Gingersnap!" Edward picked up one of the green donuts and took a bite. The donut was green on the inside, green on the bottom, green on the top, and of course green on the outside. It had even left a little stain that was green at the bottom of the donut box it came in. When he finished the first green donut, his mouth was stained green from the green color, but the green color did not affect the flavor as Ginger had said.
"Wow, Ginger, these green donuts taste great!" Edward grabbed another green donut and took a big green bite from its green flesh.
"Yes, please partake in as many green donuts as you like, Edward. There are many great green flavors to choose from, such as green, forest green, Kelly green, leaf green, mint green, lime green, Shamrock green, double Shamrock green, watermelon green, seafoam green, kiwi green, grass green, pear green, olive green, parakeet green, spinach green, sage green, broccoli green, emerald green, avocado green, pickle green, pastel green, seaweed green, turtle green, pine green, tree frog green, wine bottle green, pistachio green, neon green, green pea green, moss green, zucchini green, basil green, cucumber green, recycle green, lettuce green, green pepper green, dinosaur green, artichoke green, salad green, Bulbasaur green, clover green, unripe banana green, mold green, crocodile green, mint chocolate chip green, grasshopper green, fern green, jade green, cactus green, apple green, lima bean green, ogre/Shrek green, palm tree green, cool-fact-my-left-eye-is-green green, tennis ball green, crayon green, juniper green, light green, dark green, Envy's hair green, Mike Wazowski green, caterpillar green, swamp green, alien blood green, snake green, Duolingo green, stomach acid green, slime green, chips with a hint-of-lime green, Deviantart green, Voltron Green Lion green, slightly yellow green, ivy green, it's-not-easy-being-green green, green bean bean-green, green with highlights, weed green, shiny green, metallic green, N, matte green, donut green, gentle green, and my personal favorite: green-green."
"Thanks, Green - I mean, Gingersnap…" In the time it had taken her to list all of the green flavors, Edward polished off four green box of green donuts.
Greensnap sat amongst the green donuts, watching Edward eat the green donuts with his green fingers. He ate a green donut and got green crumbs all over his shirt and the table. He ate three green donuts and got dark green lips. He ate six green donuts and got thirty-two green teeth. He ate ten green donuts and got a green tongue in his green mouth. He ate fifteen donuts, gave a green burp, and patted his belly with green hands and turned his belly green. Now, there were eight empty green boxes stained green sitting before him on the green table.
He looked satisfied with a belly full of nothing but the color green. And he had a newfound deep hatred for the word green...
"Ya know, Gingersnap, green doesn't sound like a word anymore…" Green Edward said as he licked green donut glaze from his green mouth with his green tongue and patted his green belly with green hands.
Ginger cackled greenly. "Now that you've eaten so many green donuts, Edward, everything that comes out of you for the next 24 hours will be g Re e N."
